Abstract

The development of information technology in the world is currently experiencing very rapid development, especially in the field of mobile phones making it easier for people to get information through smartphones. This development also plays a role in the development of learning media. One of the development of learning media that is currently still new is learning media using Augmented Reality (AR). but the teacher of SMKN 1 Karanganyar does not know Augmented Reality so they do not have the skills to make Augmented Reality as an alternative learning media. Therefore it is needed Augmented Reality (AR) technology training for learning media. Community service activities have a goal that teachers can understand Augmented Reality (AR) and have the skills to make learning media using augmented reality. Community service uses a monological and dialogical approach. This augmented reality training activity was participated by 21 productive teachers from SMK N 1 Karanganyar. After the training, 95% of productive teachers of SMK N 1 Karanganyar have improved their skills so they already know about Augmented Reality (AR) and how to make Augmented Reality (AR) as an alternative learning media.

Abstract

Empowerment of Family Welfare or often abbreviated as PKK is a movement that has been built from the center to the village and its existence and benefits have been felt by the community. This PKK activity is reflected in the 10 PKK Principal Programs, one of which is focused on health and attention specifically aimed at maternal and child health. So that an Integrated Service Post (Posyandu) was formed consisting of trained Posyandu cadres. These trained Posyandu cadres are not only seen from the way they handle maternal and child health but also must be supported by their ability to use computers in the process of recording and data collection. However, not all PKK and Posyandu Cadres, especially in villages, are adept at using computers, for example, PKK Cadres and Patikraja Village Posyandu. In fact, many cadres are new to computers and cannot use standard programs such as Microsoft PowerPoint and Microsoft Word. The goal of this community service program is to improve the capabilities and competencies of PKK Cadres and Patikraja Village Posyandu in operating computers to support good and smooth performance in terms of administration and data collection. Based on the results of the evaluation it was seen that PKK cadres and the Patikraja Village Posyandu attended the training with great enthusiasm and they were able to practice the material very well.

Abstract

This community service activity aims to provide graphic design training for teachers. Through graphic design training, it is hoped that it can provide many benefits to teachers to add skills and present innovative and attractive learning media. This community service activity begins with a survey to partner locations, planning activities, compiling training materials, then implementing training. This activity was held at SMP Negeri 3 Mendo Barat, Bangka. The time for this training is two days. The result of this community service activity was graphic design training for teachers which went well with the improvement of skills in the field of information technology.

Abstract

Tritih Lor is a village at Cilacap that consists of swaps that are formed by ocean tides. Our partner as a fish farmer group at Tritih Lor has utilized the swamp for milkfish cultivation to use a traditional system. There are some troubles on their business like the production is too low because they use a traditional system that relies on natural food from a relic carried away by the tides. Another problem that the fish are gone along the tide when the fish pond breaks. To solve that problem, we use a method of repairing the fish pond, install and arrangement of water intake and aeration systems, installation fence around the fish pond, installation of solar panels, pond fertilization, stocking the pond, and harvesting. The result of this activity is an increase in productivity and a decrease in fish mortality. This semi-intensive tidal swamp aquaculture pond can answer the previous problems of traditional cultivation. This activity also can create more technological-based cultivators, make a better income, and increase the usability of the unused land.

Abstract

Tekad Sembada IX is a youth organization in the village of Sokawera, Cilongok, which was established in 1986. One of Karang Taruna Tekad Sembada IX's vision is to have a youth activity center called Karang Taruna Corner, where one of its activities is to create businesses in the field of digital printing. One of the skills needed is to make graphic designs to support these activities, therefore there is need for training to improve the ability of members of the organization. The purpose of community service is to provide knowledge and skills to members of Karang Taruna Tekad Sembada IX in Sokawera village, Cilongok by using Coreldraw software. Training materials include installation steps and the use of Coreldraw software to create banner and logo designs. The method used in this service activity is to provide training through the presentation and the use of Coreldraw software. The achievement of this dedication activity are the implementation of graphic design training with 10 participants who can take part in the training and the knowledge about graphic design using Coreldraw gained by the participant as a step to improve the human resources of Karang Taruna Tekad Sembada IX members in Sokawera village, Cilongok, Banyumas.

Abstract

The Community Partnership Program (PKM) activity in the Tesbatan Village Women's Group aims to exploit local potential, namely moringa leaves, corn, chili, tomatoes, papaya and coconut. The local potentials are processed into nutritional products with long shelf life. Thus it will increase the income and health of partner families. Partners are trained and assistanced during the processing practice of tea products, noodles, moringa cake, corn tortillas, VCO, and sukade. The training was conducted in groups with the andragogy approach that was presented with a ratio of 30% theory and 70% practice. The implementation of PKM has provided training participants with knowledge about cassava diversification, packaging and labeling. The main target of assistance to farmer groups is to enable the group to independently produce processed products as to increase nutritional and economic value by being marketed around the partner group's residence so that they can continue to carry out housework. In addition to the activities of processed local products, counseling was also carried out about the urgency of stunting on adolescent women and their effects on future generations. Partners are also equipped with knowledge about packaging and label design for the products. The activity received a very good response, this can be seen from the involvement of partners during the PKM, as well as a positive attitude and high motivation throughout the series of activities indicated by the presence and interest of partners in every discussion, training, and monitoring activity.

Abstract

Vocational High School is the biggest contributor to unemployment in the area, many supporting factors such as the unstable condition of the company. Basically, that is not all, the teaching process for these Vocational Schools is at the forefront of the increase in the unemployment rate of SMK graduates. From the results of community service activities, the following conclusions are obtained: (1) With the community service at Adiwerna District 1 Vocational High School, giving at Adiwerna Nu 1 Vocational School in Tegal Regency, providing knowledge, understanding, and innovation on efficient engine stand overhauls according to operational standards procedure; (2) Speeding up the work when the engine stand overhaul practices in competency subjects overhaul the engine with the SOP tool so as to make students competent in their performance practices.

Abstract

Residential buildings built are mostly non-structural buildings that add the greatest amount of damage. Problems that occur namely, reduced public awareness in terms of earthquake disaster management which is included in the construction of residential buildings in accordance with waterproof standards for educational education activities or providing assistance to the community about how to process and how to make houses that have earthquake resistant structures. The expected outcome is that the Brani village community is increasingly aware of the dangers posed by the earthquake and is understood to make earthquake resistant structures at home, Making knowledge for Brani villagers as material for repairs and overhauling the structure of residential buildings in order to avoid the dangers posed by earthquake. There are two methods used, namely community education and surveys. Community education through material, and discussion about science and technology materials. Lectures are used to provide knowledge about earthquake hazards and how to create earthquake-friendly residential structures. Evaluation and validation are done by questions and answers and discussion of respondents' answers. The number of respondents who participated in this activity amounted to 32 people from various backgrounds, Brani villagers have a high awareness of the quality of residential buildings, as evidenced by the results of a positive response to the construction of housing in accordance with the regulations. Although the cost of building earthquake-friendly houses is 30% greater than ordinary houses, the community is enthusiastic and accepts the adoption of earthquake-friendly simple residential technology.

Abstract

Sumurdalam Village is a village located in Besuk Subdistrict, Probolinggo Regency. The village of Sumurdalam is well-known as a mattress producing village which is a home industry. Villagers of Sumurdalam market their production of mattresses, pillows and bolsters with three marketing techniques, namely: Supplying manufactured goods to areas that have become their regular customers (for example: maron, drainage, shallow, etc.) markets, peddling around, and receiving orders from customers. Technology is developing rapidly and widely. One proof of the development of technology is the creation of online-based sales applications. Kapok entrepreneurs in the village of Sumurdalam have not applied this sales strategy. So, by utilizing existing technology, we are collaborating with partners in the Sumurdalam Village to introduce sales of cotton based products online. The online store application that we apply, namely Shopee, Bukalapak, and Tokopedia.

Abstract

Syafatul Qur'ant Islamic Boarding School Pondok Pesantren is an Islamic boarding school institution which in addition has the function of preaching to the community, is also an educational organization that has important and complex information to be known to the public so as to support its existence. The media information used so far is brochures, where the media information is still not optimal in its distribution and requires a large cost and a longer time. Cilacap Syafa'atul Qur'an Islamic Boarding School is not widely known by the general public because it is only in its third year, so it needs promotional media as a means to provide information to the public to find out about the activities in the Syafa'atul Qur'an Islamic Boarding School. Cilacap. Utilizing the Internet and implementing a web-based information system for Syafa’atul Qur'an Cilacap Islamic Boarding School using PHP programming, making it easier for people to obtain more complete information, so that it can be more effective and efficient with the use of information technology. The information presented on this website includes the boarding school company profile, detailed information for each education unit including facilities and student achievements.
