A periodical scientific journal which is a means of publicizing the results of Community Service Activities from various disciplines published and managed by Pusat Penelitian dan Pengabdian Masyarakat (P3M), Cilacap State Polytechnic. The Meaning of the Madani : Indonesian Journal of Civil Society is Progressive intended that this journal can accommodate the idea of a change that has taken place in an advanced, widespread and sustainable manner whereas Humanis is intended to accommodate the ideas of different ways of thinking that focus on general solutions to problems, problems or issues relating to humans and Brainstorming has intended this journal used as a means of scientific publication that is used to issue ideas from every team members who are done in a structured and systematic from the results of the Community Service that has been implemented.

<![CDATA[Plant cultivation in the village of Kalijaran focuses on rice plants and fish farming with ponds. Some weaknesses of the ground pool are the condition of the soil that is prone to leakage, the ground pool is also difficult to control predatory animals, water discharge as well as water pressure, especially during heavy rain. Community service activities are carried out by applying the method of maxiras, namely carrying out the preparation of tools and materials, installation, training, mentoring and evaluation which are expected to enable more varied plants cultivation and more optimal fishery products, for example using the Ras Maxi method during agricultural activities with the aquaponic method. The purpose of this activity is to be able to create a creative community to cultivate fish and at the same time grow plants using the Maxi Race method. The result of this activity is an increase in the knowledge and skills of fish farmer groups about aquaculture with the Ras Maxi method so that the community can be more economically independent and creative.]]>

<![CDATA[The children's activities at the TPQ Baitul Muhsinin Mosque are currently only carried out 3 times a week so that on other days there are no activities for children at the mosque, eventually some of them choose to play gadgets or watch television. To fill in activities other than reciting recitation and filling in activities on empty days, the solution offered in this service activity is to provide basic math training for children at TPQ by using the finger animation media. This training was chosen because numeracy skills have many benefits for children, including enabling children to better understand the universe and the laws that apply in it, enabling children to plan and evaluate well as adults, enabling children to make designs and constructions correctly. , teach children to be fair, train children to shop properly and not easily cheated and many other benefits. The method chosen in the animation media is the Jarimatika method, which is one way to perform arithmetic operations. It is called Jarimatika because it is done by using your fingers to help solve Arithmetic. With this training, it is hoped that the children's activities at the TPQ Baitul Muhsinin Sumbang Mosque will be more active and varied because there are other activities that can be done besides reciting the Koran, they can use animation media at home to learn by involving parental participation, The results of this training activity the children were able to solve addition and subtraction problems using the Jarimatika method quickly and precisely and was fun because they used their fingers to count.]]>

<![CDATA[The teacher is a professional educator who has the duties, functions, and roles to educate the nation's children. In Desa Maos Lor Cilacap, some elementary school teachers experienced problems in using Microsoft Office and Google Docs software as a means used in classroom learning media. In the implementation of community service, this discusses how to improve the knowledge and skills of elementary school teachers in Desa Maos Lor in order to optimize Microsoft Office and Google software in supporting academic and non-academic activities in the school environment. The object of research is elementary school teachers in the Maos region by using the method of delivering material directly to participants accompanied by module guides and independent exercises working on case studies. From the results of the activity, the knowledge of Maos Primary School teachers about the use of Microsoft Office and Google Docs has increased so that all activities are well managed and teachers can complete tasks at school to be more effective and efficient so that the main goal of learning to educate the nation's children can be achieved.]]>

<![CDATA[Coronavirus pandemic in Indonesia has not subsided yet. There are around 100,303 cases suspected to coronavirus during the five months outbreak. in order to deal with the epidemic, volunteers are needed to help media personnel to prevent the transmission of COVID-19 virus. it is done not only by distributing masks or spraying disinfectant but also by preventing the community from gathering at the public administration services. as a millennial volunteer who understands technology, we try to provide an understanding of the public regarding the administration of online documents. the purpose of this activity is to share knowledge to COVID-19 volunteers while taking care of population data such an e-KTP, birth certificates, and others because it can be done by accessing the DINDUKCAPIL Banyumas website. it is implemented by making presentations and exposure through video conferences via the Cisco Webex Meeting application. the result is the volunteers understand how to handle the population of the online document so that they can share it with their community.]]>

<![CDATA[The potential of abundant natural resources in Gunungsari Village, Serang Regency, is still unable to improve the economic standard of life of the community, this is due to the lack of community skills and the lack of public knowledge in optimizing the potential of these natural resources into economic added value. This method of community economic empowerment through optimization of natural resource potential in Gunungsari Village, Serang Regency uses an environmental communication strategy which includes 1) Material Stage; 2) Energy Phase; 3) Information Stage, and 4) Evaluation Stage. The results of community service concluded that community economic empowerment through optimizing the potential of natural resources received a positive response and enthusiasm from the community, with the success rate of training program indicators being on an interval scale with an average value of 70% or a fairly good category. Thus it can be concluded that encouraging the skills training of the Gunungsari Village community in utilizing the natural resource potential of the papaya fruit is very important to improve the welfare of rural communities.]]>

<![CDATA[The socialization of multimedia-based interactive learning applications is a community service for STMIK Bina Adinata lecturers at Inpres Elementary School Number 207 Linrungloe which aims to increase knowledge and understanding of educators, especially classroom teachers about multimedia-based learning applications. This activity is in the form of counseling about an interactive multimedia-based learning application using a computer. The method used in this service is socialization and training, starting with an explanation of the material about applications, interactive learning, and multimedia, after which an introduction to the use of applications to educators and finally explaining the use of applications to students. The results of this socialization increase the understanding and ability of educators in the application of multimedia-based learning and increase the learning interest of SDI 207 Linrungloe students in the learning process in the classroom using multimedia-based learning applications.]]>

<![CDATA[Wastewater resulted from the batik dying process is known for its environmentally hazardous substances including hazardous natural and synthetic organic matter, suspended particles, and hazardous metal. But in the micro and medium scale batik textile business, wastewater treatment is mostly not carried because it does not give benefit for the owner. Economical wastewater treatment constructions can be an alternative for the business owner for their free operational cost. Batik wastewater treatment ought to be carried out to meet government standards but most importantly to decrease hazardous pollutant’s concentrations so it does not harm the environment. This society service project aims to provide alternatively economical wastewater treatment for batik business owners by applying simples and cheapest yet effective treatment methods to reduce pollutant concentrations in wastewater. Methods applied in this project including sedimentation, filtration, and landfill-bioremediation. The laboratorium analysis result shows that sedimentation and filtration are significantly reduced total suspended solid particles in wastewater from 2450 to 100 mg/L in line with wastewater decoloring from dark blue to clear yellow.]]>

Vocational education is directed at forming graduates who have professional insight, which is something that is embedded in a person that influences his behavior, namely caring for quality (not just so), working quickly, precisely, and efficiently without or with the supervision of others, respecting time, and maintain reputation. The purpose of implementing Career Guidance in Schools is so that students can: (increase their knowledge of themselves (self-concept); increase their knowledge of the world of work; develop their attitudes and values in dealing with job choices in preparation for entering them; improve thinking skills so that they can make decisions. about positions that suit him and are available in the world of work, and master basic skills that are important in work, especially the ability to communicate, cooperate and take initiative. This service activity is carried out for 1 day using several methods, including lectures and questions and answers. This community service activity is to provide communication skills to participants as a provision for preparation for graduation so that participants develop their attitudes and values in facing employment choices or the choice of continuing to a higher level of education. The impact of this service activity provides participants with knowledge and skills about communication skills and career guidance so that participants are better prepared to choose work or continue to a higher level after graduating from school.]]>

<![CDATA[Every educational institution, both state and private, has the same main task and is important in carrying out lecture activities. These three main tasks are in the form of lecture or academic activities, research activities, and community service activities. These three main activities are commonly referred to as Tridarma Perguruan Tinggi. To carry out these three activities or Tridarma Perguruan Tinggi, health and safety are needed at work. It is known today that all parts of the world have experienced the outbreak of the Coronavirus disease 2019 or Covid-19. This has a very direct impact on the process of implementing Tridarma Perguruan Tinggi. To reduce the spread of the Covid virus outbreak, the actual action is needed that can prevent the transmission of the Covid virus outbreak. The government through the Ministry of Health issued 3M guidelines in preventing and reducing the spread of the Covid virus outbreak. 3M stands for wearing a mask, washing hands, and keeping your distance. However, 3M is not enough, there need to be other actions to prevent and reduce the spread of the Covid virus outbreak in safeguarding all the academics and students of the Cilacap State Polytechnic. One of the other forms of efforts taken in handling the spread of the Covid outbreak in the Cilacap State Polytechnic environment is the manufacture of WHO standard disinfectants and the holding of regular disinfectant spraying.]]>

<![CDATA[The problem faced by partners as home industry players are how to increase their production capacities and expand marketing targets so that their businesses are able to survive and develop and absorb more workers from the surrounding communities. The PKM activity aims to improve the skills of home industry players so that management and production performance will continuously develop towards a better quality related to the quantity and quality of products that were produced. The activity is carried out with structured methods of mentoring and training on various things that become a challenge to develop the second business of the home industry. In addition, monitoring and evaluation of the implementation stages of these activities are also carried out to improve the next action. The results of the activities show that all stages of the activities run well with more than 90% of success. PKM activities began with reforming the production space layout, implementing good manufacturing products, mentoring in labelling and improving the product packaging quality, practising good small business bookkeeping systems and arranging P-IRT certification of home industry products.]]>
