Abstract

The purpose of this service is to hold a volleyball match to get young volleyball players and form a volleyball team in the village of Bulurejo in preparation for the inter-village volleyball championship at Purwoharjo sub-district level. The method used is to monitor volleyball matches between hamlets in the village of Bulurejo. The results of this activity were the talented young players and the volleyball team from the village of Bulurejo. The best players have good abilities in terms of physical conditions and basic volleyball technical skills. Where these two factors are very closed related to the ability to play volleyball a player. Because to have good basic volleyball technical skills requires good physical condition.

Abstract

Porprov VI East Java Province will be held in four districts namely Gresik, Bojonegoro, Tuban and Lamongan. Banyuwangi Regency participates in this multi-event sports event held every 2 years with great enthusiasm. Where preparation as well as pre Porprov has been followed. One of the sports that is attracting enough attention is the women's Basketball sports. Where in the pre-warm-up event Porprov was able to wipe out all matches with a win. Plus in this generation there are 2 heroines from Gandrung who represent East Java to take part in Pre-PON, adding to the solid Banyuwangi women's basketball team. Naturally, the management of the coach is targeting this team to enter the final round in this VI VI porprov. In this Porprov we provide assistance to the women's basketball coach team to help maintain the physical and psychological condition of the athletes in attending this event. With a fairly tight schedule to compete 1 time a day makes the athlete's physical and psychological decline. So we provide the right method to recover physically and psychologically from athletes who face a hectic schedule. The method for carrying out this activity is (a) the preparation phase (b) the implementation phase of the mentoring at each match (c) the evaluation phase, which is to make a final report. The results of this mentoring activity were very positive, this can be seen (1) the Banyuwangi basketball women's team entered the final round and won the silver medal (2) the physical and psychological condition of the athlete was always maintained every day proved that there were no athletes who were injured and under perform, (3) the assistance process went smoothly without any significant obstacles.

Abstract

Badminton is in great demand by the community both as a daily sport and chosen to be a professional sport by many young Indonesians. It is proven by the large number of badminton athletes sprung up both at the regional and national level. All athletes involved in badminton have one goal, namely to make Indonesia famous in the world. With the slowness of the achievements of Indonesian athletes and to better maintain the competition of badminton achievements in the international arena, then we PGRI Banyuwangi University intends to hold a Badminton Championship SMA / SMK / MA throughout Besuki Raya "UNIBA Cup I 2020". Our hope with this badminton championship can bring quality badminton athletes to Indonesia in general. In this championship activity we as a committee provide a place for young badminton players to achieve again in the future and become a means of proving for them in measuring their ability to play badminton. In our service activities we carried out several stages including the preparatory stages including the socialization of the badminton championship by distributing invitation letters and championship brochures to SMA / SMK / MA throughout the Besuki residency. Next to record the players who have registered and the last is a technical meeting, after that the implementation stage of the championship is held for 5 days and the last is the final evaluation stage, namely making the final report. Based on the results of devotion activities that have been carried out, (1) players get the right place to maximize the player's psychology in competing and improve and measure the technical abilities possessed by players, (2) The trainer indirectly has a picture of how psychological conditions and abilities possessed by the players, so that they can determine the right formula in the next training program, (3) for the committee who are Penjaskesrek students, where they certainly get lessons in managing a championship and participate in the refereeing process.

Abstract

Blitar city has the potential of a superior product, which isnamely Koi fish farming. Koi fish are commodities have a potential market share with a relatively expensive sale value. This potential requires development and assistance activities because this business sector has its own problems. This article aims to analyze the potential development of the Koi ornamental fish business in Blitar district as a form of community service. The analysis was carried out with a literature-based review of research publications and community service. The results of the study were used as a reference for designing community service activities to develop the potential of Koi fish farming in the city of Blitar. The results of the analysis show that the results of research on hatchery and enlargement of Koi fish can be done by utilizing the surrounding natural resources. Community service activities are generally carried out for the technical aspects of cultivation, business management and marketing management. Development of Blitar Koi fish culture can be designed in the form of sustainable activities in accordance with the results of the analysis.

Abstract

In March 2020, the World Health Organization (WHO) declared COVID-19 as an international pandemic. This condition definitely affects the learning process, especially Mathematics learning in elementary school, and one of the goals expressed by Badan Standar Nasional Pendidikan (BSNP), namely that students have the ability to understand concepts, reason, solve problems, communicate ideas, and have an attitude of appreciating the usefulness of mathematics in life. Most elementary school teachers in Magersari District have not been able to do problem solving training for students and they need help to improve their abilities in assisting their students in solving Math Olympiad problems. Therefore, an activity was held to development of online student olympiad training materials for elementary school teachers in Magersari Mojokerto Subdistrict. Base on the evaluation, it can be concluded that this activity can improve the ability of teachers to develop Math Olympiad questions at the elementary school level and be able to solve them with problem solving steps; In solving problems related to integers, teachers can apply the properties of integer operations, and do not use formulas that are not familiar to elementary school children; And also, this activity is felt to be fun and in accordance with its objectives.

Abstract

The preparation of training programs for sports achievement coaching activities in schools, mainly Junior High Schools (SMP) through the Sports Extracurricular program, is an essential factor that coaches and mentor teachers must pay attention to so that the coaching process can run well. The purpose of this Community Service (PKM) activity is to increase the knowledge and skills of coaches and sports extracurricular coaches in preparing training programs. The activity method used is through training, mentoring and activity evaluation. The training was attended by 20 sports extracurricular coaches and teachers in SMP throughout Purwokerto. The training and mentoring results showed that in the initial test, it was found that most of the participants did not understand the preparation of an exercise program so that they were not able to compile an exercise program properly. In contrast, the final test carried out at the end of the activity showed an increase in the participants' understanding of a sports training program's preparation. The participants training participants can compile a game sports training program that will be implemented in school extracurricular activities.

Abstract

Paragliding is one of the extreme sports categories. Several factors that can affect paragliding athletes' achievements include physical fitness, ability to read wind direction, nutritional needs, and fluid needs. The methods used in this training are mentoring, creating special exercise programs, measuring and calculating nutritional status, and calculating the hydration status of athletes. Indicators of training success are measured using questionnaires given to athletes in the time before and after training. The results include: increased knowledge of special exercise programs, calculating and measuring nutritional status, and calculating the hydration status of paragliding athletes.

Abstract

The purpose of this service is to provide socialization and training at Gloria Muda Tambakrejo volleyball club, Bulurejo Village, Purwoharjo District, Banyuwangi Regency. The method used in this service is discussion and direct training (demonstration and practice) to the coaches and volleyball players of Gloria Muda Tambakrejo. The result of this activity was that the volleyball club coach Gloria Muda Tambakrejo gained new insights regarding the training program and how to train and was able to develop a training program that could be used to develop the technique and game of the Tambakrejo volleyball club. Young Gloria club players get training programmed according to the training program that suits their needs. Increased basic technical skills of passing, smash and vertical jump height of club players Gloria Muda Tambakrejo. Increased skills of passing and smash techniques and physical conditions (vertical jump) by 6.17%. For the basic technique of passing, there was an increase of 9, 53%. For the basic smash technique there is an increase of 3.20%. For the ability to vertical jump there is an increase of 3, 87%.

Abstract

In this study looking for how much the level of teacher ability in the development of physical education As for the stages of research as follows: (1) Conduct initial identification and analysis of the needs of the object and location of research and conduct preliminary studies, and also literature studies relating to research, (2) Arranging program plans regularly, (3) Arranging instructional, books or activity evaluation tools, (4) Developing research instruments to reveal the ability of physical education teachers in developing Physical Education learning (5) Conducting small group trials to Physical Education teachers; and (6) conducting field trials on physical education teachers. So the conclusion of this research is the experience factor which consists of teaching experience of children with special needs and contact experience with children with special needs. Third, knowledge factors consisting of teacher education background, training, knowledge, and teacher learning needs. Fourth, educational environment factors consisting of resource support, parent and family support, and the school system.

Abstract

The Grajagan village had a library located at the village office. So far, the library has not been managed and utilized optimally. The problems that occur in this library include the lack of book collections, the absence of chairs and tables for readers, the condition of the library is not well organized, and the library staff were not trained in managing the library. These problems have resulted in the low interest of the people of Grajagan village to visit the village library. To solve the problems, it was necessary to provide assistance in library development. Library development is carried out through the addition of book collections, providing chairs and tables for readers, arranging library space, and training for library staff. Based on the results of community service activities that have been carried out, it can be stated that the library's book collection has increased by 88 books, the library space becomes more comfortable with the increase in furniture, and the library staff has increased their knowledge in terms of library management. To further increase the role and function of the library, promotion or introduction to the library's book collections and facilities to local villagers is required.
