Abstract

Puskesmas is a health service facility that organizes public health efforts and first-level individual health efforts, service agencies that provide services to the community, really need the speed of information services so that they can provide optimal services to the community. To provide optimal and maximum service to the community, the puskesmas needs to increase the competence of the staff at the puskesmas by conducting office application workshops for their staff. For the puskesmas staff in Selindung, there are already some who know how to use office applications such as word, excel and powerpoint. But in detail in the use and utilization of office applications in more detail, they still do not understand and are not optimal. This is what makes the author and the team collaborate with the Puskesmas Selindung to carry out a work shop for office applications for puskesmas staff. The purpose of this workshop is to increase the competence of Pusekesma staff in the use and use of computers, especially in office applications, including Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel and Microsoft PowerPoint. Abstract

One of the relics whose existence must be preserved and preserved is in Banyuwangi Regency, precisely in Alas Purwo National Park (TN Alas Purwo), a national park located in Banyuwangi covering an area of 43,420 hectares. In addition to having a diversity of flora and fauna in the Alas Purwo National Park area, there are also many objects and buildings of the past, especially on the Sembulungan peninsula, which was formerly known as an entry and exit route for colonial trade commodities. However, let alone the student community who are academics who are not very familiar with the relics on the Sembulungan peninsula, the method used in this service is qualitative analysis by coming to the location directly and conducting observations and collecting data through structured interviews with a triangulation approach. The results show that students' insight has increased by looking at the relics of the Japanese military in maintaining power in the form of bunkers, cannons, and military strategies developed on the Sembulungan peninsula for maritime security.

Abstract

Health is something that is desired by every human being, because healthy everyone can carry out activities smoothly without interruption, can do a job, and / or work optimally. Advances in science and technology as well as socio-economic improvements have an impact on improving the health status and life expectancy of the community, so that the number of elderly people also increases. The increase in the number of elderly people will have an impact on various lives. The main impact of this increase in the elderly is the increasing dependence of the elderly. Many of us find elderly people sent to nursing homes neglected by their families and other problems. Humans sometimes forget how important health is, especially for the elderly. Currently, people ignore the importance of maintaining health, especially physical. The number of activities carried out so that they forget to maintain and maintain a healthy body. On the other hand, there is still a lack of knowledge and understanding of the importance of physical fitness and a healthy lifestyle, especially for the elderly. Therefore we need a program to improve the quality of life of the elderly. The method used is the Initial Condition Survey, Assistance (Theory and Practice) (Training, Socialization of the Application of a Healthy Lifestyle for the Elderly. The result is that the community practices a healthy lifestyle for the elderly so that they have quality. Abstract

Knowledge of state science is the basis for maintaining state institutions, so that research is carried out continuously and scientifically, as well as solving problems in students' knowledge of state science. The purpose of this service is to provide reinforcement to students about state science by presenting state science practitioners. Knowledge skills about state science and student attitudes towards the development of the country. This activity was attended by 25 PPkn students of PGRI Bnyuwangi University batch 2020. The method used was to present speakers of political practitioners and student activists in 1998 so that the level of student knowledge about state science and the role of students in the movement to build the nation could become the spirit of students in the reform era. In practice, students' knowledge of state science is increasing and it can be concluded that the role of students to maintain the institution is very important.

Abstract

This community service activity was carried out on the youth of Harapan Baru Village, Sei Lepan District, Langkat Regency. This activity is in the form of a workshop or training which is carried out with socialization by providing materials or modules on tips for successful investing, especially at a young age in village youth. So it is hoped that the partners have a good understanding of investing even in the village. Then the targets to be achieved through this service activity are (1) partners know what the first step is to invest, especially in rural areas, (2) partners can classify which investments have a high level of failure risk, (3) partners have awareness the importance of investing even though they are still at a young age.

Abstract

Teenagers are facilitated in accessing the world of information and have a lot of influence on human life and child development. The use of gadgets has a positive impact on human life, but if used excessively it will have a negative impact, especially for children. The positive impact of using gadgets for children, including in the mindset of children, namely: being able to help children in regulating the speed of their play, processing strategies in games, and helping to improve the ability of the child's right brain while under good supervision. On the other hand, the negative impacts of using gadgets for children include: children become difficult to socialize, unstable in emotional control, slow in motor development, the emergence of a sense of laziness, waste, significant behavioral changes to changes in academic achievement at school.The target audience of this service activity are PKK Korsda women at the Banyuwangi Tile Irrigation Service. The women of PKK Korsda of the Banyuwangi Tile Irrigation Service became the target audience because there was a request from the head of the PKK Korsda of the Banyuwangi Irrigation Service at the Banyuwangi PGRI University who needed resource persons in the activities of the PKK Korsda women of the Tile Irrigation Service. The activity is carried out every month, so that the service activities carried out by the PGRI Banyuwangi University service team are adjusted to the needs.

Abstract

Problems related to waste, waste processing, to environmental pollution will become a big problem if not handled properly. These problems can be solved with economical solutions such as the utilization of household organic waste into compost. This program aims to help the community to be able to produce compost from household organic waste in Tamansuruh Village, which is one of the villages in Glagah District, Banyuwangi Regency. Where the problems faced by the villagers are the lack of information and limited knowledge about new innovations in making compost. The process used in this composting is anaerobically assisted by a simple composter. To achieve this goal, the method used is preparation in the form of observation of problems, implementation in the form of socialization, training, and direct practice, and evaluation. The result of this activity is in the form of compost derived from household organic waste made by residents and for the residents themselves. Making compost is also able to increase the innovation power of residents in managing household organic waste and increase productivity in the field of agriculture.

Abstract

The Covid pandemic has had many impacts on people's lives, one of which is the economy. The spread of the virus that requires human activities to be carried out by social distancing (maintaining social distance) and even implementing lockdown measures that have an impact on slowing economic activity (demand and supply). UMKM are one of the sectors affected by this pandemic where there is not only a decline in income, but another impact that is felt by business actors is inventory that accumulates. The implementation of this service activity has provided an understanding to UMKM actors about the importance of inventory management for UMKMs and increased the participants' ability to manage UMKM finances so that they can survive during this pandemic.

Abstract

Since 1996 the volleyball sand sports have developed in Maluku province, and there has been vocation in PON as well as being one of the regular sport events of the province Maluku. But volleyball sand sport is known only to a view counties and cities in Maluku province. Such the cities of Southeast Maluku (Tual), the Regency of Tanimbar Island (Saumlaki), the Regency of Buru Island (Namlea), and Ambon City. But in Southwest Regency (Moa), the volleyball sand sports is now means to know until this day. Than Southwest Regency MOA has never include the sport branch in both the POPMAL administration and the state of the region. Event without it’s being recognized as a means of development for the regency of Southwest Maluku. Babar Islands is one of the sub district in Maluku Southwest, it is far from the capital of Southwest Regency (MOA) and Maluku Province. It is a analized factor in the development of the volleyball sand sport branch on Kalwedo Earth. Thus community service activities that embody the volleyball basic skills by college of the academy of arts and sciences, perform devotionals aimed at introducing a volleyball sand sport to the community and those responsible. The method uses for achieving goals in this community service is: 1) identification problem, 2) social approach, 3) planning, 4) administration management, 5) matrial preparation, 6) execution, 7) reporting. The results is: 1) participants of both the sons and doughters volleyball and the socialist-in volved volleyball. 2) participants understand the rules of volleyball sand game. 3) entry to the games own game. 4) the means and infrastructure of the game’s of the volleyball games. 5) the volleyball sand sport and infrastructure help during public service activities by lecture and collages of study programe physical education in Babar Islands

Abstract

Chainsaw operator is an important profession in logging production forest which has high occupational accident risk criteria. These potential risks can be in the form of accidents that are mechanical, electrical, biological, and physical. This community service activity is in the form of socializing chainsaw machine operational SOPs and introducing occupational health and safety as a preventive effort in reducing the potential risks faced by loggers in the Perum Perhutani KPH Banyuwangi Utara. This activity received quite a good appreciation for chainsaw operators in the Perum Perhutani KPH North Banyuwangi environment. The results of the training have provided basic knowledge about maintaining chainsaw machines and increasing safety first discipline for all parties involved in chainsaw operator activities.
