Abstract

The purpose of this research is to test or describe the effect partially or simultaneously, variable firm size, return on equity, debt to assets ratio. This is an explanatory research with a quantitative approach analyze a theary used which to know is accepted or rejection of previous test hypotheses. Sampling was done by using the data method in the form the company’s annual finacial reviews are published by the IDX itself for sample usage. Determination of the sample is applied for observation, namely using multiple linear regression analysis techniques and descriptions used sourced from the interior of the IDX financial statements for 2015-2017. The population of 38 companies multiplied by 3 years is the number observation of 114 sample companies in Manufacturing companies listed on the IDX 2015-2017. Descriptive analysis and inferential analysis can characteristically using two models to analyze the research data test. Ratio the method of describing the classical assumptions and testing hypothesis. To determine which observations are drawn a conclusion the result variable states that variable Y income smoothing is not has an influence on the variable X1 firm size, variable Y income smoothing has no effect on the variable X2 Return on Equity (ROE), variable Y income smoothing has no effect on Debt to Assets Ratio (DAR).

Abstract

The source of acceptance of each region is required to have the advantage of the economic sector to improve the welfare of the community. The economic sector is an indicator that entering into the business field contained in the PDRB shows the amount of production that has been created through each sector of the economy in a given year. Therefore, this study aims to determine the effect of the leading economic sector on the own-source revenue (PAD) of Dairi Regency from 2015 to 2019. The type of data used in this study is secondary data in the form of PDRB data in the economic sector of Dairi Regency which is found in the BPS of Dairi Regency. The analytical method used is Location Quetiont and Shift Share. The results of this study indicate that Dairi Regency has one leading sector out of seventeen existing economic sectors, namely the construction sector. The construction sector can be developed properly, of course, has a significant effect on increasing own-source revenue.

Abstract

The village is the government agent at the forefront of implementing development, because development at the village level is directly related to the community. The Village Fund given to all villages in Tapanuli Regency provides hope for the realization of development in the village, The importance of making village communities as the main actors of development is supported that most of the village communities live in poverty and helplessness. The aim is to provide opportunities for regional capabilities and rural areas as the backbone of the regional and national economy. This research is grouped into quantitative research types. using time series data panel regression with human development index variables, village funds, and gross regional domestic product. The data analysis technique used is data analysis with quantitative methods with secondary data collection through the portal of the Central Bureau of Statistics of Central Tapanuli Regency. The results showed that the F-count value was 244.8101, with the village fund variable having a positive coefficient value of 0.042406 and t-count 0.539340, the gross regional domestic product was valued at 5.188551 with a t-count 11.91530, which means that the two variables had the same positive influence on the development index. In Tapanuli Tengah Regency, it is concluded that these two variables can increase the human development index in Central Tapanuli Regency

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of promotion costs and net income on firm value either partially or simultaneously. In this study using quantitative data sourced from the financial statements of the food and beverage sub-sector manufacturing companies on the IDX in 2015-2019, based on the purposive sampling method 8 companies were sampled from 24 populations. The results showed that: promotion costs partially have an influence on firm value, while net income partially has no effect on firm value, in simultaneous research promotion costs and net income have an influence on firm value.

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to find out the service quality and customer satisfaction at Bank Negara Indonesia (BNI), Universitas Negeri Medan (UNIMED). The service quality is a very important factor to provide customer satisfaction. This study uses primary data by disseminating questionnaires directly to the sample. In measuring service quality factors, the SERVQUAL model is used, which consists of 5 indicators, Tangibles, Reliability, Responsiveness, Assurance, and Empathy. This research was conducted with a quantitative descriptive approach and the Customer Satisfaction Index (CSI) method. The population in this study is students of Universitas Negeri Medan who are customers of BNI UNIMED. Samples in this study as many as 325 respondents, with sampling techniques Cluster Random Sampling. The results showed the Customer Satisfaction Index (CSI) obtained was 66% which is in the category of Satisfied

Abstract

This study aims to knows what is the effect of Organizational Culture, Compensation and Motivation of Employee Work Discipline in PT. Inti Palm Sumatra. The method used in this research is descriptive quantitative research methods with the population in this study were 126 people and the sample in this study were 56 people. The analysis technique uses statistical analysis namely classical assumption test, multiple linear regression analysis, hypothesis test, and determination coefficient test. The results showed that partially, it can be seen that organizational culture has an effect on work discipline where the tcount value of 7,900 is greater than the ttable of 2,007 and the significant value of 0,000 is less than 0.05, compensation has an effect on work discipline where the tcount value is more than 2.701. the size of the ttable is 2.007 and a significant value of 0.009 is smaller than 0.05, motivation has no effect on the work discipline where the tcount of 1.057 is smaller than the ttable of 2007 and the significance value of 0.295 is greater than 0.05. Simultaneously, organizational culture, compensation and motivation have an effect on work discipline where the Fcount value of 154.850 is greater than the Ftable of 2.78 and the significant value of 0.000 is less than 0.05. The conclusion states that organizational culture, compensation and motivation simultaneously influence work discipline at PT Inti Palm Sumatra

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to describe marketing information systems and distributions are implemented in improving the effectiveness of sales at PT. Suryamas Lestari Prima Tanjung Morawa, to describe the resistant barriers in decision-making on distribution and to describe the effect of marketing and distribution services. From t test obtained t count = 5,686, while ttable value at n-2 (36 - 2) that is 34 at significant level 5% ttable equal to 2,04, and if t arithmetic> ttable then alternative alternative (Ha) accepted, the existence of significant influence between marketing information service and distribution to sales effectiveness in PT. Suryamas Lestari Prima Medan. From rx1y = 0.624, rx2y = 0.687, rxix2 = 0.798, The reaction result is rxix2y = 0.698, and when compared to rtabel at n = 36 with 5% significant level that is 0,329 bigger rhitung> rtabel. Thus it is certain to be accepted as proven. Thus the test of Fasil Fcount (Fh) = 15.690 is then consulted with Ftabel, with built on the dk of the numerator = k and dk denominator = (n-k-1), the result Ftable = 3.28. The result shows that F count is greater than Ftable that is 15.690> 3.28 then that is two significant things. Percentage of influence between independent variable (x1) that is marketing information system and independent variable (x2) that is with dependent variable (y) to sales effectiveness in PT. Suryamas Lestari Prima Medan 48.7% while 51.3% by other factors beyond the contribution of this study. An integrated marketing information system development plan in the near future soon commencement and existing computer capacity.

Abstract

The purpose of the research is to find out the impact of Price, Product Quality, and Sales Promotion on Consumer Purchasing Decisions at KFC restaurant Sun Plaza Medan. This study is descriptive quantitative research and the data was collected through questionnaires distributed to 100 respondents. The sampling technique is simple Non Probability Sampling and this research was conducted in October - December 2020. The data analysis method used is multiple linear regression analysis. The results of this study showed: (1) Price (X1) has a positive and significant impact on Purchasing Decisions (Y); (2) Product Quality (X2) positively and significantly affects Purchasing Decisions (Y); (3) Sales Promotion (X3) positively and significantly affects Purchasing Decisions (Y); (4) and the Price, Product Quality, and Sales Promotion simultaneously have a positive and significant effect on Consumer Purchasing Decisions.

Abstract

Facing intense competition in business, a strategy is needed to encourage consumers to make purchases. With the presence of more and more mini markets in Indonesia competing in serving consumer needs and greatly assisting the government in reducing the number of unemployed, the availability of these mini markets is highly desired by both rural and urban communities. This study aims to determine how the effect of promotion and store exterior on people's buying interest. The results show that the role of minimarkets on people's buying interest is very supportive, because the provision of products that are tailored to the needs of the community is accompanied by a good atmosphere and presentation and service to consumers, so that customers feel satisfied and decide to buy. Thus, the convenience of shopping at an affordable price and an integrated and creatively designed building leads consumers to decide to buy the products they need

Abstract

This research was conducted with the aim of seeing and knowing whether the influence of e-commerce, entrepreneurial knowledge and family environment on the entrepreneurial interest of students in the S1 Management School of Economics College (STIE) Riau. This study uses primary data obtained from the results of filling out questionnaires by respondents with purposive sampling data collection techniques. The population is all students majoring in S1 Management with a sample of 100 respondents with the criteria that they have followed the entrepreneurship course. This research method uses descriptive research with a quantitative approach. The data analysis technique used is Multiple Linear Regression with the help of SPSS. The conclusion of this study is that simultaneously e-commerce, entrepreneurial knowledge and family environment have a significant effect on interest in entrepreneurship. Partially, E-commerce and family environment have no significant effect on interest in entrepreneurship, while entrepreneurial knowledge has a significant effect on interest in entrepreneurship. The magnitude of the influence of e-commerce, entrepreneurial knowledge and family environment on the entrepreneurial interest of students of the STIE Riau S1 Management Program is 56.2%. As for the variable that most influences the interest in entrepreneurship of students in the S1 Management program, STIE Riau, is entrepreneurial knowledge.
