Mitra Ash-Sibyan adalah jurnal di Program Studi Pendidikan Islam Anak Usia Dini STAI Auliaurrasyidin Tembilahan yang mencakup bidang pendidikan dan konseling. Jurnal Mitra Ash-Sibyan ini diharapkan mampu menjadi wadah bagi dosen, guru, dan praktisi pendidikan untuk menerbitkan tulisan ilmiah. Abstract

The purpose of the research is to identify (1) the level of the STAI Auliaurrasyidin students’ activeness on group counselling, (2) the level of the STAI Auliaurrasyidin students’ confidence, and (3) whether there is a significant impact on the students’ activeness on group counselling to the STAI Auliaurrasyidin students’ confidence. This research took PIAUD students as subject, and those of who joined the counselling (29 students) were taken as object of the research. A Likert scale questionnaire was used to bring data together. Product moment was used to analyze correlation among data. Accordingly, they shown that (1) students’ activeness was at medium category (82.85%), (2) students’ confidence was at medium category (62.85%), and (3) correlation coefficient was at 0.671. This thus presented that there was a significant correlation between group counselling and STAI Auliaurrasyidin students’ confidence.

Abstract

This article clarifies the meaning of personal values on creating moral education. Meaning clarification of values is a special identity to mind, feeling, and attitudes. Values clarification is in coherence with normal physical development. Education and assessment should touch the stages of the development. The stages of mind development consist of theological, metaphysical, positive, and existence. Existence consist of eclectic, etic, and religious. Meanwhile, fostering moral should develop moral knowing, moral feeling, and moral action.

Abstract

Although the learning process of writing involves all other supporting elements, such as stimulation from parents, the ability to coordinate fingers in grasping is a major aspect of the process. This study examines the causes of grasping difficulties as well as their relation to children's learning and writing processes. Analysis of this study using journal analysis. The findings show that Developmental Coordination Disorder (DCD) or poor motor skills are the main cause of difficulty grasping children. DCD levels were tested by Finger Tapping (FT), Curve Tracing (CT), and Paragraph Writing tests. Whereas 2 experimental tasks, Manik Threading and Per-Board were used to assess the FMS of reading children. This meta-analysis concludes that DCD influences the learning process of writing children and Fine Motor Performance is also related to the process of early reading for early childhood. Researcher's solution, recommends a comprehensive eye examination for children's eye and finger coordination and helps improve children's FMS, perform occupational therapy for children with DCD as well as continuous stimulus for children to train their fingers in the learning process of writing and early reading in children.

Abstract

Early childhood (0-6 years old) at the golden age is easy to immitate and very receptive. Character education should thus be applied by educators and or parents as main educators in their life. Library research is used in this research by analyzing journals, books, printed and online documents, and relevant data. There are 4 methods and 12 strategy needed by educators and or parents in applying character education for early childhood. Sustainable education will develop character of children to adult, because it is influenced by not only genes but also environment like education.

Abstract

Problems always exist throughout human life, including early childhood. Early childhood are required to be able to solve each of their own problem properly. Currently there are still children who have not been able to solve the problems they face without the help of teachers or other adults. To overcome this problem, researchers proposes nature-based learning to develop children's problem solving abilities. This learning offers children as active learners who are free to play and explore so that they will gain their own experience and knowledge directly. The experience and knowledge gained is used by children to overcome the problems they encounter. The effectiveness of nature-based learning was evaluated by designing learning activities carried out by the quasi-experimental method for 36 children. Two variables: nature-based learning and problem solving abilities. The results showed that there was a significant increase in the problem solving ability of early childhood by 86.11%.

Abstract

In general, gymnastics is only imitation of movement from beginning to end but in this study gymnastics is combined with stories that are imagined by children, which are then realized into motion with the aim of stimulating the creativity of early childhood movements. In this research si buyung’s gymnastic modified to be warming up, creative movements, and cooling down. The research was quantitative quasi-experimental method with one group time-series design on 52 children aged 4-5 years in Yogyakarta. Data collection used interviews and observations, then analyzed with Kruskal Wallis. The results showed that implemented si buyung’s gymnastic effectively to increase the movement creativity of children aged 4-5 years is evidenced by the acquisition of asymp.sig p-value. 0,000 <0.05 which means there is a significant difference in the average ranking of children's creativity in each treatment.

Abstract

Family is the nearest environment the children have. It belongs to the first and primary educational instution for them learn and grow. All developmental aspects of the children – include values of relious and moral, physical motor, cognitive, language, social-emotional, and arts – should be stimulated and supported by parents especially in family. The parents should be able to know those all aspects, so they can stilumate them appropriately. Parents play a vital role in stilumating and guiding them grow and develop. Good experience with parents they have will bring them to easily interaction with their environment. Children at 1-4 years old need people like parents to stimulate and to bring them model of good behavior, so they can survive in their future.

Abstract

The purpose of the research is to explore the improvement of the students’ skills over Virtual Library on Sainsmatika at PIAUD Semester 2 students, STAI Auliaurrasyidin. Type of the research used is action research. It is a learning done in the classroom to improve learning process in the class. Data collection technique used in the research was test, observations, and documentation. The collected data was then analyzed descriptively. The analyzed data were data of students’ learning achievement and students’ scientific works. Based on the data, it can be stated that virtual library practices can improve the skills of the PIAUD, class A, semester 2 students on Scientific Studies. Material used was about digestive and respiratory system of fish, toads, lizards, birds, and mice.

Abstract

Math seems to be one of the scourges in learning that children are afraid of, even though the use of math is very close and needed in everyday life. This specter or fear is also born from the assumption that the number of calculations and formulas that must be studied is added to the monotonous and rote-only factor of giving material. Therefore, this research was conducted as an effort to improve mathematical logic skills in early childhood thorugh the use of more interesting method in order to be accepted by children. It was the GEMPITA program (a math-based PAUD game). This study uses a literature approach with documentation techniques as a data collection method. In the implementation, the use of various tools and technology is able to increase children the attractiveness to learning mathematical concepts. So that the results are in the form of recommendations for math-based games that are easy and fun to minimize math fear in early childhood.

Abstract

This study aims to improve the science process skills of children aged 5-6 years through a project-based learning model. This research is a type of quasy experiment with an equivalent time series design. The research subjects consisted of 88 group children, namely children aged 5-6 years from 6 Kindergartens in Sleman Regency. Data collection was carried out using observation. Then the data were analyzed using one way ANOVA and got the sig value. 0.00, which means that there is a difference in the mean ranking of process science skills after using a project-based science learning model, so the results of this study indicate that an effective project-based science learning model is used to improve science process skills of children aged 5-6 years.
