Abstract

The number of local language deaths in Indonesia is a national concern that must be addressed immediately. This study aims to describe and explore how to overcome the death of local languages ​​in Indonesia through multilingual learning models in schools. This study is a library study that analyzes and analyzes the results of previously published studies related to multilingual learning in Indonesia. The results of this study found two learning models, namely the multilingual simultaneous-sequential model and the embedded multilingual model, which are suitable to be adapted and adopted in teaching local Indonesian languages ​​in schools. This research also contributes to the central, provincial, and district governments to apply the laws and regulations that have been developed and implemented.

Abstract

Literary work is a container of ideas, ideas, and an author about social phenomena that are captured and experienced by the author as outlined in the form of work. Research describes aspects of spirituality in God's Novel Let Me Become a Prostitute! the work of Muhidin M Dahlan. The method in this research is descriptive qualitative. Qualitative research is conducted by prioritizing the depth of appreciation of the interaction between concepts being studied empirically. The results showed that the spiritual aspects contained in the novel Lord Let Me Be a Prostitute! Is Aqeedah, sharia, and morals. Aqeedah consists of monotheism and faith in destiny. Sharia includes worship and siyasa while muamalah and munakahat are not found. As for the morals include the morals to God, the morals for both parents, and the morals in accepting Allah's provisions while the feeling of shame (Al-Haya) is not found. It also found a religious feeling that is more directed to its existence as a human being because it is personal in nature and its scope is broader than religion which is only limited to the teachings and links.

Abstract

The language produced by speakers is a reflection of a culture that it adheres to because, in communication, it certainly has a close relationship with the other person so that the language spoken can be well understood. A discussion can take place if the style used can be followed so that the message delivered can be received. This study aims to analyze code-switching and code-mixing in novels Badai Matahari Creation Hary El-Parsia. The method in this research is descriptive qualitative carried out by not prioritizing the numbers but prioritizes the depth of appreciation of the interaction between the concepts being studied imply. The type of research in the literature is. The source and type of data of this research are the data written on novel Badai Matahari Andalusia. The results of the study showed that in the Solar Storm novel, there were seven quotes from the Code and nine quotes from the Code. Code Transfer and Mix The most dominant code is the Transfer of Code by mixing Indonesian, English, Arabic. In other words, the author Hary El-Parsia in his work uses the Transfer of Code and Mixed Code as the hallmark of his work.

Abstract

Makna leksikal dan makna konteks tidak selamanya sesuai sehingga perlu dilakukan penelitian untuk menhindari kesalahan penafsiran terhdadap isi tuturan dalam ranah demonstrasi tersebut. Penelitian ini bertujuan menjelaskan: makna konteks dan fungsi emosi mahasiswa Kota Baubau dalam ranah demonstrasi;.Penelitian ini merupakan jenis penelitian kualitatif. Pengambilan sampel dilakukan secara purposif. Data lisan dikumpullkan menggunakan metode simak bebas cakap, teknik dokumentasi, dan catat. Data dianalisis dengan teori tindak tutur Searledan teori Goleman.Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwamakna konteks dan fungsi tuturan emosi mahasiswa Kota Baubau dalam ranah demonstrasi, yaitu penggunaan makna konteks tuturannya dominan pada makna kontekstual daripada makna leksikal sehingga banyak kata, frasa, kalimat, serta ungkapan yang secara semantik bermakna positif. Namun, secara pragmatik bermakna negatif. Fungsi tuturan emosi mahsiswa terdiri atas empat, yaitu asertif, deklaratif, direktif, dan ekspresif.

Abstract

Learning foreign languages ​​is inseparable from the teaching of vocabulary (mufradat) which is the initial foundation for a person in learning a foreign language. Good mastery of vocabulary will form good foreign language skills too. In terms of vocabulary teaching requires a practical and efficient method to be able to arouse the enthusiasm of foreign language learners. This study uses a qualitative method of case study type with the subject class Mutawasit B in 2020. The results of the study indicate that the cognitive theory used by the sobahul lughoh class supervisor "Mutawasith B" is effective and relevant to the sobahul lughoh vocabulary activities. In terms of teaching Arabic vocabulary, the supervisor starts by presenting a reading then appointing one of the students / mahasantri to read then translating the reading according to the knowledge he has. At the end of the reading there is a mufradat table consisting of 8 to 10 mufradat which has been completed with meaning. The counselor reads one by one the mufradat and instructs the student to repeat it. This repetition method will be able to strengthen the memorization of the mufradat owned by mahasantri. However, there are several obstacles encountered, namely, the lack of mental readiness of students in receiving learning material due to the morning situation that makes participants sleepy. So that teaching and learning activities are not optimal.

Abstract

This study examines the conflict that occurred after the 1945 Independence Revolution between the Army, the Provisional Representative Council (DPRS) and President Sukarno. The Indonesian Armed Forces after the independence revolution did not only play a role in the defense field. Army officers feel the duty of the army is not only to take care of defense issues but also to guard, oversee the implementation of good state government. The methodology of this research is historiography, the writer gets primary sources from national archives, and secondary sources of researchers get from various library references (Center for Strategic and International Studies (CSIS) and UGM Library. Towards the 1955 Election the army has a very strong influence, the army has the right In the 1955 general election, the army (AD) had a territorial organizational structure from the central to the village level, and political parties scrambled to embrace the army in order to strengthen the position of political parties ahead of the 1955 general election. from the PNI they always threshed the army and the Minister of Defense in every meeting with the DPRS. The army saw many DPRS interfering in the internal affairs of the army. In October 17, 1952, Colonel AH Nasution's army, put pressure on President Sukarno to dissolve the DPRS and carry out the election general training as soon as possible.

Abstract

This study aims to: 1) Know the application of the STAD type learning model in economic subjects, 2) Know the increase in student learning outcomes on economic subjects by using the STAD type cooperative learning model. This research is a Classroom Action Research (CAR). The subjects of this study were 30 students of class IX Maros 11 Public Middle School consisting of 18 women and 12 men. The results showed that the mastery learning conducted in the first cycle was 66.7% (20 students) and increased and in the second cycle increased to 93.3% (36 students). The increase in class average scores also increased in cycle I to cycle II, from 66.7% in cycle I to 93.35% in cycle II. The application of STAD cooperative learning methods can improve student learning outcomes.

Abstract

This study aims to describe the ability of class X MA Uswatun Hasanah Lala students in writing narrative essays based on personal experience. This research was designed using quantitative description methods. The variable observed in this study was the ability of students to write narrative essays based on personal experience in class X students of Uswatun Hasanah. Thus, the type of variable is a single variable. Data collection techniques in this study in the form of tests and observations. Furthermore, the data analysis technique in this study uses statistical techniques. The results showed that of the 29 research subjects who scored 66 or above as many as 12 students or 41.31% and research subjects who scored less than 66 were 17 students or 58.62%. Based on the mastery criteria that the research subject was declared successful if 85% of students had a value of 66 and above, it can be concluded that the class X MA Uswatun Hasanah Lala was able to write narrative essays based on personal experience.

Abstract

Students have difficulty understanding a material because of a lack of confidence. This study aims to determine the increase in motivation and self-confidence of students after learning to use the PBL model in thematic learning in class I SD Negeri 4 Waeapo. This type of research is Classroom Action Research (CAR) using qualitative and quantitative analysis methods. The data collection design used was observation, interview, and questionnaire. The results showed that the students' mastery of learning was quite good from the results of the formulative tests in the two cycles carried out starting from the first cycle to the second. Student learning outcomes achieve mastery of 43.3% of the total number of students in cycle 1 and increase to 83.3% of the number of students in cycle 2. The application of thematic learning models of environmental themes with this contextual approach can improve student learning activities. This can be seen from the results of observations that reached an average score in the first cycle = 1.6 and changes in the average score in the second cycle = 2.5. From cycle I and cycle II it was clear that there was an increase in the average score of 0.9. The application of thematic learning models of environmental themes with this contextual approach can improve the standard of students' mastery learning. This can be seen from the results of observations that achieved an average score in the first cycle = 1.7 and changes in the average score in the second cycle = 2.5. From cycle I and cycle II it was clear that there was an increase in the average score of 0.8.

Abstract

This study aims to describe the ability to find educative value in the short story of the Chef of the Damhuri Muhammad work. This study uses quantitative descriptive research. The subject of this study was the whole class X students of SMA 12 Buru teaching 2017-2018. This study uses the ability test instrument to find educative value in the short story. The results showed the highest score achieved by students as many as 5 research subjects namely a score of 80 out of 100 as the highest score, students who scored 70 as many as 14 students, a score of 60 obtained by 1 student, and a score of 50 as the lowest score achieved by 2 subject students research. The ability to find educative values ​​in the short story of the Cook by Damhuri Muhammad by students of class X of Buru 12 High School has been successful even though it is not sufficient. This is based on the results of data analysis, namely the research subjects who obtained a score of 65 and above as many as 10 students or 76.923% and research subjects who obtained scores below 65 as many as 3 students or 23.077%. Thus the ability to find educative values ​​in the short story of the Cook by Damhuri Muhammad by class X students of SMA 12 Buru classically has not been successful because only 76,923% obtained 65 and above.
