Abstract

Based on the results of research conducted at the Bandung City Communication and Information Service, data was obtained that the problem with DISKOMINFO is that the network monitoring application that is owned is cacti network, the application only shows on the monitor screen of the DISKOMINFO control room and if there is a problem on the network, for example, if it is not properly connected, the network technician does not immediately know this because there is no notification directly to the network technology. To overcome these problems, as a solution the author recommends to build and implement network monitoring in activities on the use of smartphones, namely Android applications so that the application can be used by network technicians to simplify and speed up the process of monitoring in real time and wherever it is because the system will immediately provide notification according to network problems that occur. The method used in this study is the literature method and interview where data collection problems will be a reference for a solution. In the construction of this application the author uses the JAVA programming language and database storage using MySQL. The author also uses UML (Unified Modeling Language) in helping system design analysis. The Android-based network monitoring application that is built can be used by network technicians of the Bandung City Communication and Information Service Office, as a support for its work, which is monitoring the network according to notifications received from the system in the Bandung city government environment in real time

Abstract

Clothesline that is used in the community is still in the form of a manual so that the community must raise it directly. Peoplewho have more interests or who work may not have to raise clothes directly so they have to leave their more important work. Whentraveling or there are other jobs the community is still confused how to pick up clothesline with changing weather. From these problems,a prototype model of automatic clothesline was built using Android-based Arduino, this is to simplify and shorten the time in liftingclothesline or drying clothes when our weather changes. Having designed an automatic clothesline using Android-based Arduino. Inthis study, the Arduino UNO microcontroller functions as a data processing center obtained from the LDR sensor to detect light, usesa water sensor to detect rainwater and uses a DC motor to move the clothesline out / in, and uses the Bluetooth HC-05 module to movethe clothesline with Android. The test results show that this tool works well, when the device is turned on the sensor will check theweather outside whether the weather is sunny or rainy. When the weather is sunny or hot outside, the clothesline will automaticallycome out and if the weather outside is raining, the clothesline will automatically go inside. When the sensor does not function or hastrouble the automatic clothesline can be controlled via a smartphone that is connected to the Bluetooth HC-05 module.

Abstract

The development of technology towards IoT or the Internet of Things has been very advanced so that the fulfillment of humanneeds is increasingly easy and comfortable. One example is the need to control and monitor the air temperature in the server room. Theserver room requires a cool and stable temperature so that the computer devices inside can function properly. In addition, the roomalso requires a security system to prevent undesirable things, such as intruders or people who are other than server admin officers.These needs can be fulfilled by creating an IoT-based device. Arduino as the main device and online Cayenne web-based application asa medium for controlling Arduino. This device is equipped with a motion detection security system using the PIR Motion Detector HCSR501sensor while for temperature monitoring using a DHT22 sensor. Control of tools can be done using a web browser on a PC(Personal Computer) and an android smartphone via an internet connection

Abstract

In the current era of communication globalization, the role of social media is needed by humans to interact with each other. Social media is a medium for socializing with each other online, which allows users to interact with each other without being limited by time and space. This social media has a big influence on society especially young people who are the main consumers. The influence of social media as a marketing communication media, where users can give opinions and provide information to each other. On the other hand social media can also change the character of consumers, especially teenagers who are unstable and tend to be easily influenced. This study examines the role of websites and YouTube in influencing the character of consumers in buying products or services. The research population was selected by University Students in Bandung and 100 (one hundred) students were taken at University X in Bandung who were active in social media. The results of the questionnaire were processed using the partial least square method.

Abstract

Subang Crystal Guava farmer groups have problems in the management and maintenance of plants that are still carried out by way of going down outside the Operating System Procedure (SOP) provided by the Subang Agriculture Service, especially in the management of disease prevention or plant pests and harvesting of Crystal Guava fruit . This makes the process of checking yields take a long time if it has to be adjusted to the SOP provisions. One alternative solution that aims to provide direction and treatment to farmers in managing guava crystals is to apply informatics technology in the form of an application model built for disease identification on Android-based guava leaves. This application uses the camera facilities on mobile phones to take photos of guava leaf samples. The research method used is a software development method (Enterprise Unified Process) whose stages include Construction, Transition, and Production. Java as a programming language, and Android Studio Tools as the editor. Application Identification of diseases on the guava leaves that were built after the trial can be used by the Crystal Guava Farmers in the Subang farmer group as a tool to determine the disease in the guava plants so that a method is obtained to treat the guava plants with a yield that is harvested. expected to be optimal

Abstract

Train is the main mode of transportation that we often use, the train itself can be used as a tool for shipping goods and mobilizing passengers, this transportation is very unique and has its own path in the form of steel strings across from hundreds of kilometers, railroad bearing structures currently exist which uses concrete and wood, the railroad is very vital and is an important supporting facility. The process of railroad monitoring is complex and complicated, takes a long time, the previous method is simple and conventional by tracing the railroad tracks manually or using a geometric gauge mounted direl or also known as railpod, railpod will follow the rails and will provide report if there is a train track that is damaged, broken or shifted, this research will create an image-based monitoring system using drones as a track monitor, another way is to take pictures using satellite data that will provide clear information about road conditions before being passed by the train, the railroad data processing system by using image processing can display visual responses up to cm in size, the response appears if there is a shift in the path then the system directly provides data in the form of location and shifting paths on the main computer, this system is more c eTat in checking and analyzing train track data with high accuracy and precision up to 90%, in addition to imagery from satellite images can use drones, drones themselves are very easy in maintenance and use and are able to cut production costs and even workplace accidents in the field workers themselves can be avoided because the drone is able to reach the track and railroad that is difficult for example through the tunnel or the railroad track along the hills and densely populated.

Abstract

Bandung is known as the capital of West Java. Bandung also develops as a culinary city. As a form of the Government's responsibility to facilitate tourists who come to Bandung, the Government has officially announced the "Bandros" Tourism Bus (Bandung Tour on Bus). But practically, there are many problems faced by stakeholders. Standardization of prices among passengers, limits on the number of buses that cannot serve passengers, unclear routes including departures and arrivals, unhealthy management for safety factors and an increase in the number of passengers that have a negative impact due to the quality of service. The purpose of this study is to describe service quality, community satisfaction and community interest in reusing Bandros, and also to obtain the results of an analysis of the extent to which service quality affects community satisfaction and its impact on community interest in reusing Bus Bandros. In this study, researchers used the descriptive-verification method. This method is used to verify the quality of service perception, community satisfaction and community intentions to reuse Bus Bandros by involving 500 respondents who wish to use Bus Bandros. The distribution and selection of respondents was carried out using convenience sampling. Path analysis is also used in this study. Based on the results of the statistical testing process found significant perceptions between service quality variables and brand image with public interest in the city of Bandung to use Bus Bandros. For recommendations in this study, clarity of information can increase the public's intention to use Bus Bandros, because the information submitted will provide clarity in order to increase public intention to ride Bus Bandros.

Abstract

Wireless networks are one of the best alternatives in building practical and flexible computer networks that have high mobility. Most of them use wireless networks to support existing cable networks, but on wireless networks, they still use cable media as a backbone of the access point, which supports communication users can access the internet and find information. The problem of using cables as backbone media can be a significant challenge in places that are difficult to reach by wires. Wireless networks provide convenience and convenience that is high enough to use. As long as they are in an area that is supported by a wireless network, users can access the internet at any time. To make the wireless network connected to the internet safe and easy to use, we can create a user authentication system based on Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA) that can be used to authenticate and authorize. In general, each user can use existing wireless network services by verifying users based on Wifi Protected Access 2 Pre-Shared Key (WPA2-PSK). The purpose of this research is to develop a wireless network that uses Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA) based user authentication to be able to connect to the wireless network to increase security and provide the use of existing wireless networks. The research method used in this study uses descriptive qualitative research methods, with data collection using literature study and observation techniques. After analysis and design, it can be concluded that user authentication is based on Multi-factor Authentication (MFA) in a safe and user-friendly manner that can determine the users who are allowed and not allowed to use wireless networks.

Abstract

Sonny Medika Bidan Enen Clinic is a health service provider that has skilled medical personnel, but data management at the clinic is still done manually. The risk of errors in storing and managing medical record data caused by human error is still quite high, so that it can reduce the quality of service. With the design of the EMR (Electronic Medical Record) system it can help the process of managing medical record data, so that service and archive storage is better and can reduce errors that occur. The design of the EMR is done by the EAP (Enterprise Architecture Planning) method using the Zachman Framework. There are four stages carried out which include the seven main components of EAP, namely Design Initiation, Business Modeling, Current Technology Systems, Data Architecture Design, Application Architecture design, Technology Architecture Design, and Implementation Plan. The results of the EMR design by the EAP method successfully defined 3 business processes. In the data architecture produces 7 data entities, in the application architecture 4 application proposals are generated, and in the technology architecture the proposed architectural technology design is generated .

Abstract

One of the important things that need to be considered in student assessment is the problem of student presence. The student attendance process that is very commonly done by universities is recording attendance manually, as currently applied by STMIK "AMIKBANDUNG". QR Code technology is a technology that can encode and decode all types of data into an image in the form of a code and can be read with a smartphone, this is very suitable for use as data validation, which is usually used for digital payment methods today. With these advantages QR Code technology can be implemented as well as supporting media in the smooth process of lecture attendance, This is interesting to the author to conduct research on lecture presence design using QR Code technology, with QR Code technology, each student is expected to no longer need to sign the form absent because the presence data will be identified automatically via a smartphone that can scan the QR Code and be stored in the system database.
