Abstract

Mapping of landslide hazard in North Sumatera is very important to identify the areas potential. In this study we try to predict and mapping of landslide hazard in North Sumatera using scoring and GIS. Compare to the ground movement vulnerability and rainfall series, the areas with steep topography have landslide hazard forecasts, which are dominated by zones with medium hazard forecasts. High-level landslide hazard forecast maps are in the areas of South Tapanuli, Mandailing Natal, Humbang Hasundutan, Central Tapanuli, North Tapanuli, South Nias, West Nias, Padang Lawas, Toba Samosir, Langkat, Samosir, Pakpak Bharat, and Karo districts.

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to get an overview of the level of threat and vulnerability due to lightning strikes in North Sumatra Province and present it in the form of a thematic map. In this case, we use the real time lightning strike data during June 2020 in regencies / cities in North Sumatra from the Deli Serdang Geophysical Station Lightning Detector tool, then the data is processed and mapped in the Arcgis 10 program using the Gridding method. The result indicate that the mechanism of lightning is related to physical theory including the presence of electrostatic forces, collisions between particles in charge separation, changes in the form of substances at a certain height in the Cumulonimbus cloud, potential differences that cause lightning strikes and charge induction from charged clouds.

Abstract

Explosions in the sky (Skyquake) like an earthquake are still mysterious. The main purpose of this research is to to provide an overview of the source of the explosion that occurred with a geophysical approach, based on both earthquakes, thunderstorms and earth magnets. In this case, we used the geophysical approach to evaluate and analysis the skyquakes based on the spectral density and magnetic field. The result indicates that the earthquake sequences that occurred simultaneously were not related to crash events at different times, 11 April 2020 and May 11, 2020, as well as the electrical activity of the air and the earth's magnet, the assumption of the 11 April 2020 explosion originating from lightning and magnetic activity is still very weak.

Abstract

Data mining is the process of finding patterns from large data sets using descriptive, estimation, prediction, classification, clustering and association techniques. The C4.5 algorithm is one of the most popular algorithms of the classification method in data mining which is the development of the Iterative Dichotomizer 3 (ID3) algorithm. By using the algorithm C4.5, the authors are interested in conducting research on medical record data that is in the Regional General Hospital dr. Fauziah Bireuen. A medical record is a file containing notes and documents regarding the patient's identity, examination results, medication, actions and other services that have been provided to patients. The purpose of this study was to find trends in patient disease using the C4.5 algorithm based on 4 data variables, namely age, gender, address and diagnosis. From the research results, it was found that disease trends in children, adults and the elderly in all Bireuen regions and all genders were F00-F99, namely mental and behavioral disorders. While the disease trend for infants is A00-B99, namely certain infections and parasitic diseases. Then for adolescents in North Bireuen and West Bireuen the emerging disease trend is F00-F99, namely mental and behavioral disorders, while for adolescents in South Bireuen who are male, the emerging disease trend is I00-I99, namely diseases of the car and mastid process, while adolescents in South Bireuen are female, the trend of disease that appears is M00-M99, namely diseases of the musculoskeletal system and connective issue.

Abstract

Tuberculosis is a direct and chronic infectious disease that is transmitted by tuberculosis sufferers, thus tuberculosis sufferers must be treated immediately until healed. Medan City, located in Indonesia, is the largest area of TB sufferers compared to other areas in North Sumatra, Indonesia. In this study, we use the Multiple Linear Regression (MLR) with the performance of TB officers from 2014-2017. Data obtained by interviews and observations using questionnaires and analyzed by multiple regression α=0,05. The results of research are showed that statistically, both partially and simultaneously, from all of respondents have assessed according to several characteristics, namely age, sex, education, years of service and marital status that the distribution of respondents from each variable of compensation, supervision and competence are affected to the performance of TB officers at Puskesmas in the Working Area of the Medan City Health Service. The compensation variable is the most influential variable on the performance of Puskesmas TBC officers in the Working Area of Medan City Health Service.

Abstract

Pregnant women must understand and practice a healthy, nutritionally balanced lifestyle as an effort to maintain good nutrition. This is very necessary so that the fetus in the womb gets adequate nutrition so that it can avoid miscarriage, abortion, congenital defects, and low birth weight of the fetus. Selection of nutritional intake can be done with information about the mother's nutrition during pregnancy which can be processed and presented with a decision support system so that we can find out the effect on the baby that is born, that way, it is easy to determine the best nutrition that the mother should consume so that can give birth to a healthy baby. Research on maternal nutrition for infants used the weighted product method, with 5 criteria consisting of vegetables, fruits, meat / fish, nuts and milk. The research data were obtained from the results of filling out the questionnaire to 50 respondents with 48 pregnant women and 2 breastfeeding mothers at the Puskesmas Muara Dua Lhokseumawe, the questionnaire data was calculated manually by giving weight to each point so that the total amount of nutrition obtained by each respondent was obtained. the accuracy obtained is 18% and an error of 82%. The data concluded that only 18% of pregnant women had informed that the nutritional intake was good enough, while the remaining 82% had not informed the results of the nutrition intake properly.

Abstract

The development of an increasingly advanced era like now has made the needs of the community increase as well. Moreover, it is driven by the very fast technological advances. The influence of technological developments has touched various fields, for example, in the field of Professional Event Organizer (EO) Service Providers . Technology has been included in it as a tool for doing a job or identifying such as the feasibility of an EO to run an event. Therefore, in determining EO, it is necessary to design a decision support system using the Multi Objective Optimization method On The Basis Of Ratio Analysis or what is called MOORA. This system is expected to help solve problems and it is hoped that this system will help service users who want to use EO services, so they do not get disappointed when the event takes place.

Abstract

Artificial neural networks can be imagined like artificial brains in science fiction stories. These artificial children can think like humans and are also as smart as humans in deducing something from pieces of information received. This human delusion encourages researchers to make it happen. Computers are endeavored to think in the same way as humans think. The trick is to mimic the activities that occur in a biological neural network. The use of the backpropagation neural network method as a training model for recognition of complex patterns, the success rate for recognizing a pattern from an object is very good. Especially in the introduction of this model batik motif is very precise and quite effective. The implementation of the backpropagation neural network to identify batik motifs is very appropriate to test the truth using the backpropagation method. The resulting level of accuracy is very high, by learning the batik motifs and then introducing them.

Abstract

Expert System is a part of Artificial Intelligence that contains the knowledge and experience put by many experts into a certain area of knowledge so that everyone can use it to solve specific problems. The implementation of expert systems is widely used in the health sector, for example by making diagnoses such as diagnosing nutritional levels. For example, diagnosing calcium levels in broccoli. Diagnosis is the process of examining something using certain methods and techniques. Diagnosis is done to explain whether the object experiences / suffer certain things. Diagnosing the levels is done to explain whether broccoli vegetables have calcium. It is hoped that with this system, ordinary people can solve certain problems both slightly complicated even without the help of experts in the field. As for experts, this system can be used as an experienced assistant. This developed application aims to make it easier to analyze the data. By using the Certainty Factor method, it will be easier to find out the diagnosis of calcium levels in broccoli. This method is the right method used in expert systems.
