Abstract

This study aims to examine (1) the difference in average daily return in one week (2) test the occurrence of negative returns on the fourth and fifth weeks of Monday on financial sector stock returns on the Indonesia Stock Exchange in the period 2017 and (3) test whether a positive return and tends to be larger than other months on Monday in April. The population in this study were financial sector companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange. Samples were taken by purposive sampling method. Samples consisted of 6 financial sector companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange and included in LQ45 during the 2017 period. The results of data analysis show that trading days have no significant effect on stock returns. There is no negative return on the fourth and fifth week of Monday on stock returns and positive returns are found and tend to be greater than the other months on Monday in April on financial sector stock returns on the Indonesia Stock Exchange in the 2017 period.

Abstract

Retail business in Indonesia has developed quite rapidly in the last few years with various forms and types. Competition in the retail or retail business which is currently increasingly fierce forces retail or retail business entrepreneurs to compete with each other to try to attract the attention of consumers. This study aims to determine and analyze the variables of service quality, satisfaction and price partially or jointly with purchasing decisions at the Nabila supermarket in Yogyakarta. In this study the sample used was a portion of Nabila Yogyakarta self-service consumers using Purposive Sampling techniques totaling 100 people. The analysis technique used is multiple linear regression analysis. The results of this study are that Service Quality has a positive and significant influence on the purchasing decisions of Nabila Supermarket customers in Yogyakarta with a regression coefficient of 0.409 (positive) and a tcount of 3.351 and a probability of error (p) = 0.001. Satisfaction variable has a positive and significant influence on the purchasing decisions of Nabila Supermarket customers in Yogyakarta with a regression coefficient of 0.249 (positive) and a tcount of 2.466 and p = 0.015. Price variable has a positive and significant influence on customer purchasing decisions in Nabila Yogyakarta with a regression coefficient of 0.336 (positive) and the significance test for the coefficient obtained is 3.751 and p = 0.000. Variable Service Quality, Satisfaction and Price simultaneously influence the customer purchasing decisions on users of Yogyakarta Nabila Supermarket with F statistics obtained by Fcount of 17.961 and the probability of error (p) = 0,000.

Abstract

The teacher is someone who has a job as a facilitator for students to learn and/or develop the basic potentials and capabilities through both secaraoptimal school educational institutions established by governments or private. Teacher performance is influenced by many factors and one of them is emotional intelligence. The task of teachers is to form graduates who are competent to use optimally their feelings in order to identify itself and its environment.Problems examined in this study were: (1) Is self-knowledge, self-control, motivation, empathy and social skills have a partial effect on the performance of teachers. (2) Is self-knowledge, self-control, motivation, empathy and social skills simultaneously affect the performance of teachers. The population in this study are teachers who teach in primary schools in the region Tegaltirto.The results showed that some self-knowledge, self-control, motivation, empathy no significant impact on teacher performance, whereas social skills affect teacher performance. The results showed that the variables simultaneously self-knowledge, self-control, motivation, empathy and social skills have a significant effect on the performance of teachers. Working together self-knowledge, self-control, motivation, empathy and social skills to contribute 31.8% of teacher performance. The result is expected to be useful to teachers and schools. The teachers are expected to continue to improve emotional, because with a good emotional skills will be able to improve its performance as a teacher.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of liquidity (Current Ratio), leverage (Debt to Equity Ratio), profitability (Return on Equity) to the price of shares of mining coal companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange in the period 2013-2016. The dependent variable used is the stock price, while the independent variable is liquidity (Current Ratio), leverage (Debt to Equity Ratio), and profitability (Return on Equity). The population in this study is a coal mining company listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange as many as 22 companies and then taken as many as 8 companies. The analysis technique used is the classic assumption test, panel data regression analysis with a 5% confidence level, hypothesis testing is performed using the t test and F test. The results of this study indicate that liquidity (Current Ratio) has no significant effect on stock prices, with a probability value of 0.980 is greater than α 0.05. leverage (Debt to Equity) has no significant effect on stock prices, with a probability value of 0.386, greater than α 0.05. and profitability (Return on Equity) have no significant effect on stock prices with a probability value of 0.343 greater than α 0.05. While simultaneous variable liquidity (Current Ratio), leverage (Debt to Equity Ratio), and profitability (Return on Equity) have no significant effect on stock prices with a prob value (F-statistic) of 0.662 greater than α 0.05. The coefficient of determination of 0.050 or 5% means the stock price is influenced by liquidity (Current Ratio), leverage (Debt to Equity Ratio), and profitability (Return on Equity) by 5% while the remaining 0.950 or 95% is influenced by other variables outside the research variable.

Abstract

This study aimed at testing and analyzing how both the big market capitalization and the small one had an effect on the price stock. The population of this study was all companies listed in BEI in the period of 2007 – 2011. The purposive sampling with a quota sampling was applied in the technique as sampling, while the selection result of sampling was 36 companies with big market capitalization and 36 companies with small market capitalization. The method of data selection of this study was documentation because the data was taken from other sides. The dependent variable used in this study was price stock and the independent variable was market capitalization. The tools for data analysis applied Vector Error Correction Model (VECM). The result of this study indicated that the big market capitalization had a positive effect on the price stock and gave an effect of 69.91% on the price stock at the end of the period. While the small market capitalization had a positive effect on the price stock at 85.09%.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the influences of prices, quality of products and services on purchasing decision in Pak Pong Klatak Satay Culinary in Bantul. The subjects of this research were customers of Pak Pong Klatak Satay Culinary in Bantul. The population of the study were people who purchased products of Pak Pong Klatak Satay Culinary in Bantul.  The samples were determined by accidental sampling method by total of 80 respondents. Data were collected by giving a list of questions / questionnaires to  respondents dealing with prices, products quality as well as services quality and how they influence the customers decision in purchasing the products. This study used a multiple linear regression analysis technique. The researcher tested the hypothesis using T test and F test. The test results  showed that prices have a positive but insignificant influence, products quality has a negative and insignificant influence. Meanwhile, services quality has a positive and significant influence. Prices, products and services quality contribute  to a simultaneously positive and significant influence upon customer’s purchasing decision as the significant value of 0,000 is smaller than 0,5. The prices variables, products quality and services quality are able to explain the purchasing decision variable in Pak Pong's klatak satay culinary at 35%  and  the  remaining 65% explained by other variables not included in the study.

Abstract

This study aims to explain the analysis of the influence of inflation, amount of money supply and gross domestic product to return on assets (ROA) Islamic Banks in Indonesia for the period 2010-2014. Macroeconomic variables used in this research are inflation, the amount of money supply and gross domestic product. Indicators used to assess performance Islamic Bank finance in this study is Return On Assets (ROA). This research uses documentation method with secondary data obtained from the Bank Indonesia website, the Central Statistics Agency and the respective Bank's website. The sampling technique used in this study using a purposive sampling method, so the number of samples is used in this study amounted to 7 Islamic banks in Indonesia. Technique data analysis uses multiple linear regression analysis, classical assumption test and significance test. The results showed, partial inflation was not significant effect on Return On Assets (ROA). The money supply partially negative and significant effect on Return On Assets (ROA). Gross Domestic Product has a positive and significant effect on Return On Assets (ROA). Whereas simultaneously shows inflation, amount money supply and gross domestic product have a significant effect on Return On Assets (ROA).

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to find out product attributes effect and attribute motivation to purchase ads on Honda Vario. The population in this study are all citizens of district Pandak ever bought and used Honda Vario. Sampling technique using purposive sampling. Characteristics of sampled respondents who are residents of districts Pandak ever bought and used Honda Vario motorcycles 17 year old and over. The data was collected by distributing questionaires to a sample of the 100 people. Based on the analysis by t-test of the product attribute variables (X1) obtained the result of probability (0.007), and attribute variables (X2) obtained the probability (0.0001) with significantly the level of 5% (0.05). the probability of two independent variables are smaller than the significance level of 0.05. So based on that analysis can be concluded that the product attributes and attribute partially ads have a significant influence on purchase motivation Honda Vario.

Abstract

This study aims to examine the effect of the composition of company managers on financial performance. The composition of the company management is proxied by using the number of independent commissioners, the board of commissioners, and the board of directors. The company's financial performance is measured by profitability ratios, namely Return On Investment (ROI). The population in this study are companies that are included in the State Owned Enterprises (SOEs) listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (BEI) in 2010-2018. The sample selection technique used purposive sampling method. Based on the criteria that have been determined, 8 companies chosen as sample. The type of data used are secondary data in the form of annual reports and financial statements. Data analysis technique used multiple linear regression analysis. The results of this study showed that simultaneously, independent commissioner, board of commissioner, and board of directors have a significant effect on ROI. Partially, independent commissioner, audit committee, board of commissioner, and board of directors has positive and significant effect on ROI. While another Good Corporate Governance proxy, which are the audit committee and board of directors  have a positive effect but not significant on ROI.

Abstract

This study aimed to determine the effect of managerial ownership and institusional ownership as well as the control variabel is profitability, firm size, asset structure, against debt policy. The population in this is a property and real estate company listing on the Stock Exchange in 2010-2013. Purposive sampling with sampling to obtain a sample of 10 property and real estate using purposive sampling to obtain a sample of 10 companies and real estate properties companies. Data collection is done by the method of documentation. The analytical method used is multiple linear regression analysis. With the influence that occurs between mangerial ownership and institusional ownership variable control of the debt policy on property and real estate companies on the Stock Exchange, the company should reduce the proportion of debt financing in order to reduce financial distress because the funding of corporate debtscauses financial distress and agency cost is greater than the tax saving from the burden of debt interest, consequently the company highly vulnerable to economic shock.
