Abstract

Managing letters related to residence in Babau Village usually takes a long time. Residents must meet directly with the head of the RT/RW in the domicile area to obtain a cover letter, then they can go to the Kelurahan office to arrange the intended documents. The problem that then arises is if the community cannot meet the RT/RW leader because of busy life. Likewise if it arrives at the Kelurahan office, it turns out that the Lurah is not there. This will certainly hinder the management process. In addition to the above problems, another problem that can also arise is the RT/RW cover letter that has the potential to be falsified. These problems can be solved by building a Digital Village platform where the community does not need to meet directly with the RT/RW but can use the existing platform to manage the required documents. The proposal letter that goes to RT/RW can be directly approved and forwarded to the Village Head to be approved and ready to be printed. Everything is done without the need for paperless paperwork.

Abstract

Based on comparison data between 2017 and 2018, according to BPS (Statistic Central Data) the number of the poverty rate decreases in the villages is much higher than in urban areas. The role of the government does not escape here through the Ministry of Village, Development of Disadvantaged Regions and Transmigration in terms of encouraging all villages to have Village-Owned Enterprises (BUMDes). Although the BUMDes program has been launched since 2010, previous research shows that the BUMDes implementation program still not optimal. Departing from this condition, this research in the context of community service was created with the aim of mapping the profile of BUMDes, as well as finding the potential and controlling BUMDes and related business units. Meanwhile the issuing BUMDes is Kertajaya BUMDes, Cianjur Regency, West Java Province, while the business unit issued is PAB Tirta Jaya which is engaged in the provision of clean water. BUMDes Kertajaya has various potentials in the fields of clean water, tourism, agriculture, facilities and fisheries. Our research indicate that BUMDes Kertajaya have good governance but still have constraints such as limited internet facilities, units business funding, human resources regeneration, minimum number of operating income and limited infrastructure facilities. While the potential PAB Tirta Jaya to develop its business in the field of clean water supply is quite high, especially in terms of raw materials and marketing. Some of the obstacles faced by PAB Tirta Jaya are the currently inadequate equipment available for business development / expansion, the lack of operating profit, the difficulty of PAB Kerta Jaya in regenerating human resources, the business value of the PAB Tirta Jaya that is currently underway is not yet high.

Abstract

Kata kunci : Food court, promosi Abstract:  In a big city like Surabaya, we can find a lot of food courts everywhere with their own characteristics, starting from the luxury and glamorous one in various malls to the more conservative one with cheaper price. One of the latter is food court Graha Masyithoh in Jln. Menur Pumpungan No. 34 Surabaya, which is part of a medical center with the same name. All this time, the merchants in this food court always struggle with less and less consumer every day. The reasons are its dependency from patients of the medical center only, high building of apartment next to the food court which make it cannot be seen clearly, and lack of facilities inside the food court. Through this community service activities, the team from Universitas Katolik Darma Cendika plan to give some promotion means to this food court in order to help them to be more known by people around them.

Abstract

Packaging is an element of product strategy that is used to attract consumers to buy the product. Small businesses usually do not pay attention to their product packages so that the products are not attractive to the target consumers. Here, we used packaging to help the small business partners to leverage sales of their products. The assistance covers labelling in which relevant information about the products is provided to the consumers. The small business partners have been successfully selling their products with higher price because of better packages.

Abstract

The program to meet the needs of Raw Water for the domestic needs of the community, especially drinking water and other household needs, is very intensively carried out by the provincial government of East Nusa Tenggara. The difficulty faced is that efforts to equalize the fulfillment of the need for clean water in the archipelago require quite expensive costs and technology. Palue Island in Sikka Regency is one of the islands of hundreds of regions experiencing a clean water crisis. Fulfillment of consumption water needs only comes from the results of the Steam Water Condensation using plaster and PAH methods. This research was conducted to determine the feasibility and contribution of the fulfillment of residents' raw water by the anointing method that has been carried out by the Palue Island people for generations.

Abstract

The level of corruption in Indonesia has not decreased significantly even though there have been severe criminal penalties and prevention systems carried out. It is considered that the behavior of corruption is taken root in the mentality of the Indonesian people. Therefore, anti-corruption education needs to be provided early to reduce the possibility of someone to commit corruption when they are adults. The right education method can provide significant results in achieving educational goals to be achieved. The Community Service Team of the Communication Science and Psychology Study Program at Universitas Pembangunan Jaya held an anti-corruption education for elementary school students in collaboration with Sawah Baru Elementary School. The target of this program is elementary school students in grades 3, 4 and 5. In this anti-corruption education, the team used storytelling methods to facilitate and increase understanding in participant's mind. It turns out that this storytelling method has a large impact on the understanding of corruption in the view of elementary school students. In the future, we hope anticorruption education can be held in every school or into the education curriculum.
