Abstract

This final task helps teachers in providing learning materials Sundanese Script. The purpose of the designer of the learning media of Sundanese Script is to commit the effort to preserve Sundanese Script in the area of Sukabumi, in particular the adolescent level. With video-based lotion-based learning can feature an attractive learning script, informative, and is not boring so that it can attract the interest of students in studying sundanese characters.This final task was compiled using a descriptive qualitative method. The learning media in this campaign are in the form of motion graphics videos, x- banners, tote bags, bucket hats, offline and online posters, key chains, and t- shirts. Therefore, the designers of the learning media of sundanese script are the most effective way in the preservation campaign of sundanese characters among junior high SMP.

Abstract

Article with the title "Exploration of the Rendo Bangku Koto Gadang motif in West Sumatra in Fashion Products" aims to increase the number of motifs and products from the rendo Bangku Koto Gadang craft in West Sumatra into quality products and have their own characteristics. Koto Gadang Village. The rendo bench product which was originally used for decoration on the edge of the Koto Gadang women's scarf, is now being developed in the form of diversification of form and function by applying Koto Gadang rendo to women's clothing and men's clothing. The method used in this research is the experimental method. By way of exploration and design. Based on the results of exploration and design, we have been able to produce designs for rendo bench motifs, clothing designs for women and clothing designs for men.

Abstract

This design aims to make animated short as a media for a campaign to spread hope in the midst of the Covid-19 pandemic. The author takes this theme because the author sees that many people have started to ignore this pandemic. A campaign of dissemination like this the writer considers important, because the author believes that ignoring a pandemic like this is something that should not be allowed, this is because with this kind of omission, the opportunity for an increase in cases of the Covid-19 pandemic will increase. The author then tried to present this design to spread hope and give hope to people who have begun to ignore the Covid-19 pandemic. By making this animated short, the author tries to touch the psychological side of the Indonesian people in general and the people of Makassar city in particular to start caring about and not being indifferent to this Covid-19 pandemic.

Abstract

Growth and development starts from infancy and stops as adults. Child development can be seen from motoric, social and emotional development, WHO states that more than 200 million children under the age of five in the world do not fulfill the potential of child development. Many factors can help develop toddler development, children need the right stimulus according to their age. For this reason, a sensory carpet design was made that can stimulate children's growth and development and educate parents about the importance of stimulating motor development in children. This study uses a mixed method, which combines qualitative research and quantitative research. This sensory carpet game can help parents stimulate fine motor development in children through games of inserting a rope into a hole, opening a zipper game, a button game and a color match game. The concept applied to this game is learning with fun, with a forest theme to introduce animals and plants in the forest, as well as introducing children to textures that represent these animals and plants. In addition, this game was created to provide a choice of educational games for toddlers, so parents do not give gadgets to children.

Abstract

Human and computer interaction is a science that focused on system planning and design a system so that users can interact and collaborate according to the needs of the users themselves in the most effective way at every step of their work. The role of the user interface has a significant impact on the usability of an application or system. Heuristic evaluation (HE) is considered to be the best usability evaluation method compared to other methods because it can find serious problems that cannot be detected by other methods. Therefore, researchers will analyze the user interface on the Bukalapak website using the HE method. User Interface Analysis on the Website with the HE Method through the distribution of online questionnaires, from the results of distributing questionnaires online, it can be concluded that the website has shortcomings in terms of helping and documentation features to assist users in using the system. It is declared lacking because it has the lowest rcount (Total) value of 0.587 compared to other rcount. Suggestions for research on user satisfaction analysis using the HE method, authors convey suggestions that need to be improved in future research, namely it is necessary to conduct research on Bukalapak user satisfaction using the HE method in a wider scope.

Abstract

Analysis of Sustainable Fashion Design Development in Indonesia describes how a design approach strategy can be put into practice to contribute to the development of sustainable fashion. Fashion is an industry that has great potential for Indonesia's creative economy and employment, but on the other hand it has negative social and environmental impacts. Sustainable fashion is a new trend and aesthetic that is developing in urban society. There are various strategies to develop sustainable fashion, one of which is through a design approach. Using a qualitative descriptive approach, this paper further analyzes the implementation of this strategy through purposive sampling of the brand, Sejauh Mata Memandang, as one of the pioneers of sustainable fashion brand in Indonesia. Based on the results of virtual observations and data analysis, it is concluded that there are six sustainable design strategies carried out by Sejauh Mata Memandang that can be used as references as best practices for developing sustainable fashion design in Indonesia.

Abstract

This research aims to see how the aesthetic changes in the two music video of Bangtan Boys (BTS), “No More Dream” (2013) and “Permission to Dance” (2021). Aesthetic changes are always releted to the cultural changes, and therefore it is interesting to investigate more deeply. This research collects qualitative data from books, journals, and especially from the two music video above. To see the aesthetic changes, we use the post-colonial theory of Homi K. Bhabha which is relevant dor this research. From the research that has been done, the two BTS music video take the aesthetic idioms of Western (United States) pop culture. Changes in aesthetics actually only follow global trends (United States). We don't find a solid South Korean cultural 'visual cue' in the two music video. However, 'Korean Style', 'K-Pop Aesthetics', 'BTS looks', and so on were born because the two music video are mimicry and hybrids that have succeeded in integrating and hegemonizing Western (United States) pop culture idioms into K-Pop culture idiom.

Abstract

The problem of sensory disability is the ability to stimulate the senses that do not function properly. The shopping center as a public space is a place that can be used for everyone but doesn’t respond to the obstacles experienced by sensory disability. This study aims to provide information and recommendations regarding the design of shopping centers with a sensory approach to create a space experience based on their perspective. The analysis of the qualitative study was conducted by comparing the literature study on the design of a community center for the blind and deaf as a research method. The result of this research is the application of interior elements with a sensory approach can be implemented to improve the spatial experience of people with sensory disabilities in the shopping center. These results can also be accepted and used in a wider community. Based on this research, it can be used as a reference for optimizing shopping centers as public spaces that can answer the problems experienced by sensory disability.

Abstract

Currently the use of mosquito nets is mostly replaced by using mosquito repellents with modern electronic devices that are filled with liquid. However, excessive use of chemicals is very bad for the health of the body in long term. This is makes the author have the idea to design a baby mosquito net by add a cross stitch technique in creating a motif on the fabric surface design so that the mosquito net in addition to protecting it self from mosquito bites, the mosquito net can also be a decorative in the room because of the motifs made using cross stitch techniques. The design of mosquito net product is carried out using the application theory of SP. Gustami in creating craft art there are three stages, the exploration stage which includes the search for ideas and data for the initial design, the design stage includes data analysis as a reference in making the work, and the embodiment stage includes the final result of the work. The cross embroidery technique was chosen as a way to apply the motif, which has been considered from how the structure of the perforated tille fabric. The advantages of using the technique of cross embroidery, the resulting motif are more neat and orderly, the shapes and colors that are expected from the beginning of the design can be realized ad expected.

Abstract

Photography is basically a medium for documenting moments that you want to remember and are usually important. The large number of enthusiasts in the field of photography and the increasingly advanced developments of the times have made the scope of this photography wider, not just documentation but also reaching the industrial world for commercial needs so that it is called commercial photography. Commercial photography, especially fashion photography, is something that many people love. Harper's Bazaar is a fashion magazine that uses commercial photography to promote fashion products. In commercial photography, of course, there is a photographic composition that is used, therefore the authors formulate a goal to conduct research on the composition applied to the commercial photography of Harper's Bazaar magazine "California Dreaming". By using qualitative methods and analysis by studying commercial photography directly. Then it is explained one by one regarding the photographic composition used so as to produce conclusions about the photography studied. Where from the research results it was found that each photo has its own photographic composition, with such an arrangement that finally the point of interest in a photo can be highlighted.
