Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of giving empty bunch compost (KOTAKPLUS) on the growth and production of red lettuce (Lactuca sativa Var. Crispa) verticulture. This study used a non-factorial randomized block design (RBD) with 5 levels of treatment, namely the provision of empty bunch compost (KOTAKPLUS) consisting of: A0 = Top soil, A1 = 3: 1 ratio (Top Soil: (KOTAKPLUS), A2 = Comparison 2: 2 (Top Soil: KOTAKPLUS). A3 = Ratio 1: 3 (Top Soil: KOTAKPLUS), and A4 = Box Plus 100%. The parameters observed consisted of Plant Height (cm), Number of Leaves (cm), Leaf Width (cm ), Plant Weight per Plot (kg), and Consumption Weight per Plot (kg). Based on the results of the study, it can be concluded that the provision of empty bunch compost (KOTAKPLUS) has a significant effect on all growth parameters and production of red lettuce (Lactuca sativa Var. Crispa) ) verticulture, with the best treatment found in the A3 (Top Soil 1: 3 Compost KOTAKPLUS) treatment, with an average plant height of 13.40 cm, number of leaves 9.67, leaf width 8.98 cm, plant weight per plot of 3.17 kg, and consumption weight per plot of 2.28 kg . Maximum Extract 250-300 words in Indonesian and English with 11 points Arial. Abstract must be clear, descriptive and must provide a brief description of the problem being carried out / researched. Abstract includes the reasons for selecting the topic or the importance of the research topic, research methods and a summary of the results. Abstract

This study aims tostudy the effect of the composition of doses of chicken manure and rice husk ash on the growth and production of soybean (glycine max) on peat soils. This research was conducted in the month of February 2013 to june 2013 in the tembilahan hulu village,tembilahan hulu district,indragiri hilir regency. Initial soil analysis was carried out at the BPTP Yogyakarta Laboratory. The study used a Completely Randomized Design (CRD) with 4 treatments and 3 replications factors and 3 replications namely without treatment and treatmen of chicken manure doses in the same 3 treatments namely 2500 kg/ha, for rice husk ash using a doses of 5000 kg/ha,1000kg/ha and 1500 kg/ha, so that we can get4 cobinations off repeated 3 replications so that there ar 12 experimental units,each experimental unit consisting of 10 plant pots. The parameters observed were soil chemical properties,plant height,number of effective root nodules (100%), percentage of pithedpods,number of seeds / plants,weight of 100 seeds (grams). The data can be analyzed statiscallyif the F coutis greater than theF table followed by the tukey HSD test at the 5% level. The results showed that the combination of chicken manure and rice husk ash was significantly different from plant height and weight of 100 seeds. In the parameters of the number of effective root nodules (100%),the percentage of effective root nodules,the percentage of pithed pods,the dry weight of seeds/plants,showed no significant effect. The best weight of 100 soybean seeds is found in the combination dose of 2500 kg chicken/ha chicken manure and 1000kg/ha of rice husk ash which is 16.20g.

Abstract

Reseach the ifluece ofthe produktion of a crop tomatos. By the SP-36 and dolomite in peat soil hasee implementd in the garden experiment the fakulty of agrikulture UNISI Riau provice.During 4month from may to the augustus. reseach purpose the provision of avariety ofdoses to SP-36 and dolomite crop of tomato plants in the lads of peat. Data analyzedy by obervation ingerprint variety of(ANOVA) and continiued by test further HSD 5% perpecent during the preparattory pheseof turkey the of various doses of combinasi already afford uprade production crop tomato whit the highest on the in creased production of treatment 250kg SP-36/Ha +4 Tons dolomite/Ha, against the age of flowering recorder on treatment 200kg SP-36/ha+4 Tons dolomite/Ha, the frist crop to the age of the fas test intreatmet 250kg SP-36/Ha+4 Tons dolomite/Ha, talll plant to exist at the level of treatmet 250kg SP-36/Ha+4 Tons dolomite/Ha, on the increase intreatment exsist at the level of pH 4 Ton dolomite/Ha againt brangkasan dry planet on the highest treatment 250kg SP-36/Ha+4 Ton dolomite/Ha.

Abstract

Cultivation of plants on dry acid land faces several obstacles, including drought and high Al3 + solubility. The response of soybean to water deficit varies depending on the plant species, the size and duration of stress and the growth phase. The high solubility of Al3 + in the soil is toxic to plants, thus inhibiting root function and growth. The purpose of this study was to study the growth response and tolerance mechanisms of soybeans under drought and aluminum stress conditions. This study used a completely randomized design (CRD) 3 factors with 3 replications, consisting of soybean genotypes (SP 30-4, PG 57-1, Anjasmoro and Tanggamus), drought periods (2, 6 and 10 days), and Al neutralization ( 0 x Aldd and 1 x Aldd). The difference in growth response between genotypes to Al stress and drought was seen in the variables of plant height, number of leaves, and crown dry weight
