Abstract

The background of the problem in this study is the obstacles experienced by students of class VIII-4 at MTsN 2 Padangsidimpuan when completing the questions in the initial test. Obstacles found include students who are less able to understand the concept of social arithmetic well. Therefore, it is necessary to make an update in student learning activities, especially on the subject of social arithmetic. The formulation of the problem in this study is how the validity of learning trajectory is the subject of social arithmetic using a contextual approach and how practical learning trajectory is the subject of social arithmetic using a contextual approach. The purpose of this development is to know the learning trajectory validity of the subject of social arithmetic by using a contextual approach and knowing the practicalities of learning trajectory the subject of social arithmetic using a contextual approach. The discussion of this research relates to the field of mathematics. In connection with this, the approach taken is theories related to mathematics teaching and learning. In this case the learning trajectory developed refers to 7 main components of the contextual approach, namely constructivism, asking, finding, learning society, modeling, reflection, and authentic assessment. So that a valid and practical learning trajectory is used for students of MTsN 2 Padangsidimpuan.The type of research used is design research. Design research is included in qualitative research. Design research is research that places the design process as a strategy to develop a learning path. Trajectory learning designed is validated by 3 validators. The instrument used in this study is observation and questionnaire.Based on the results of the validation of the 3 validators obtained a value of 75.23% with a valid category. Learning trajectory practices obtained from observations made on student activities from the meeting were 66.125%, 66.625%, and 67.375%. The use of time used is sufficient and the results ofthe questionnaire obtained are 88.70% in the practical category. Thus, it was concluded that the development of learning trajectory on the subject of social arithmetic in MTsN 2 was aimed at a valid and practical contextual approach.

Abstract

Communication mathematics has a very strong relationship with other mathematical processes, such as problem solving, representation, reflection, reasoning and proof, and connections, where communication is needed to complete each of the other mathematical processes. The ability of students 'mathematical communication is also the foundation in building students' knowledge of mathematics both oral and written. through communication allows mathematical thinking to be observed and therefore communication facilitates the development of thinking. Even though the ability of mathematical communication is important, ironically the learning of mathematics has still not given enough attention to the development of this ability, so that mastery of mathematical competencies for students is still low. students only usually teach questions that are required to seek results but are not or are rarely asked about the origin or steps of understanding. In this connection, this paper aims to explain theoretically about mathematical communication and to present the role of learning related to reality so that students can develop mathematical communication skills.

Abstract

Crisis in Indonesia is getting messy is believed to be due to a lack of character. Indeed, many feel that this national has lost its character. But when asked what the character was, we sputtered. Character, something that should be know, but most do not want to know. Something ver important, but most of us underestimate, something that is very necessary, but in the fact most of us even laughing. Awareness of various circles, especially educators are expected to instill character in every educational institution, given the character of the nation that has decreased or away from the values of kindness.

Abstract

Many of the effects of the economy are family resilience, family resilience is realized because the functioning of the family in meeting all physical and psychological needs, namely economic needs, education, hereditary instincts, instincts of compassion, protection and social affection. If the family's resilience has begun to be fragile it will have a bad influence on students' learning motivation if the child's learning motivation is no longer there and how to carry out education well. Therefore, as a component of education for both parents, the teacher must know the mentality of the child in order to be able to carry out education as well as possible.This study aims to determine the economics of parents in Padangsidimpuan 9th Middle School. To find out the motivation to learn Grade VIII Mathematics of SMP Negeri 9 Padangsidimpuan.This study uses a correlational method with a quantitative type, which provides an overview and simultaneously sees the influence of the two variables by calculating the mean, median, mode, variance and standard deviation. To provide an interpretation of the distribution of data obtained from the population are all class VIII SMP N 9 Padangsidimpuan about 227 students. The sampling technique carried out by researchers with cluster random sampling samples consisted of 45 VIII1 and VIII2 classes. Then the instruments used as data collection is using a questionnaire and managed using a correlational method then analyzed using product moment obtained by rxy = 0.172 compared with a significant level of 5% = 0.294 including the non-significant category with a coefficient of determination (kp) = 2.96% means that the parent economy contributes not significant to students' motivation to learn Mathematics. While the manager of data analysis is done by using linear regression which shows fcount ftabel = 1.307 4.075 Significant level a = 35.259 and b = 0.158 and n = 45 with one-sided test dk = n-2 = 43, so that ftabel = 4.075 . Seeing this condition, the hypothesis test rejects H0 and the recipient. Ha This study concludes that there is no significant influence between parents' economics on the motivation to learn Mathematics in Class VIII SMP Negeri 9 Padangsidimpuan.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to describe the creative thinking ability of Tadris/ Mathematics Education students in Padangsidimpuan IAIN in solving open-ended problems. The approach used is a descriptive qualitative approach that seeks to analyze the ability of students to think creatively in solving open-ended problems. The research subjects were students of the third semester of the Tadris / Mathematics Education Study Program at IAIN Padangsidimpuan. The research subjects consisted of 6 students consisting of 2 students in the high category, 2 students in the medium category, and 2 students in the low category. Data collection techniques in the form of observation, tests and interviews. Data analysis is performed by data reduction, data presentation and verification or conclusions. The data validity technique is done by triangulating data sources. The results showed that students' creative thinking ability for high category was very good in solving open-ended mathematics problems. The ability of students to think creatively for the category is in good criteria. The ability of students to think creatively for low categories as a whole is in poor criteria. Overall for low ability students still need coaching.

The term halal and haram are both derived from Arabic, meaning lawful or permitted justified, while haram means not permitted or prohibited. Pigs are clear keharamannya for Muslims either fat or part resulting from an animal. Abstract

Mathematical connection is the ability of mathematics to connect conceptual and procedural knowledge, use mathematics in other subjects, use mathematics in life activities. Mathematics is a difficult subject for students as well as chemical equilibrium material, because both lessons are abstract. Mathematical ability is a basic ability that students must master in Chemical Equilibrium. Determination of Equilibrium Assets (Kc and Kp) requires mathematical connection capabilities. The results obtained from the Chemical Equilibrium test given are still low with a percentage of 65% for the calculation of removal, 45% root shape and the ability to multiply and divide the decimal number to 67%. This is because learning mathematics and chemical equilibrium are difficult subjects so students are less interested.

Abstract

Albert Einstein was a German-born theoretical physicist who developed the  theory of relativity.  The theory of relativity was representative of more than a single new physical theory. There are some explanations for this. First, special relativity was published in 1905, and the final form of  general relativity was published in 1916.   The  theory  of relativity  has proved  the truth of  the events  Israk   Mikraj  ascension. Israk  Mikraj  is not a  metaphysical  event.  He  is a  physical  event  (real;  physical) experienced and  lived  the Prophet Muhammad with his consciousness.   The event of Israk and Mikraj are referred to briefly in the Qur'an. Within the Qur'an itself,  there are two verses in chapter 17, which has been named after the Isra, and is called Surah Al-Isra. There is also some information in Surah  An-Najm, which some scholars say is related to the Israk and Mikraj

Abstract

Learning math is a process or activity of teachers in teaching mathematics to students, to create the ability, potential, interests, diverserse talents so that the interaction optimal airning at obtaining a variety of learning experiences better and meaningful. A teacher should be able to apply innovative instructional strategies that can improve the spirit of the students in learning, so students will not feel bored with the material  that has been taught so as to achieve maximum learning results.Cooperative learning model talking stick is an interesting mathematical model of learning and makes students more axcited and interested in learning so that student learning outcomes for the better. Students become more active in presenting their opinions and respond to his opinion. In addition, with the stick rolling with the accompaniment of music, then learning of mathematics more fun.
