PSYCHE: Jurnal Psikologi published by Psychology Faculty Universitas Muhammadiyah Lampung. Psyche aims to facilitate the process of interaction, discussion, and further discussion of the development of psychology in Indonesian society. Psyche consist topics related to clinical psychology, industry and organization, education, development, social and islamic psychology. Psyche accepts various research methods, both quantitative and qualitative methods. Psyche will be published bi-annually every February and August and consist of 8 selected articles.

Abstract

The difficulties faced by parolee in social reintegration process can make them resort back to crime or recidivist. However, if individuals can adapt positively, correctional clients can achieve resilient conditions, hence, easier for them to stay out from crime The purpose of this study was to determine the protective factors and risk factors that influence resilience of parolee during the social reintegration process using the perspective of Bronfenbrenner's bioecological theory. This study was conducted on a sample of 131 adult parolee registered at Correctional Center Class I Surabaya. Data obtained using survey methods and using simple regression analysis methods. This study shows that the factors that influence resilience of parolee are factors that are in the microsystem layer, namely social support factors. Abstract

Bullying behavior is a desire or negative action to injure both physically, verbally or psychologically committed by a person or group of people to others repeatedly, in this case, there is an imbalance of power between the perpetrators and victims whose effects are very detrimental to the perpetrators and victims. This study aims to determine the relationship between emotional intelligence and peer conformity with bullying behavior in adolescents. The data collection method uses three psychological scales which include: bullying behavior scale, emotional intelligence scale, and peer conformity scale. The research is in SMP Nusantara Bandar Lampung. The population in this study was 343 students. The number of research samples of 60 students was taken using a purposive sampling technique. The data analysis technique used was a multiple regression analysis of the predictors. Based on the analysis of the results of the research results Rx1.2-y = 0.542 and p = 0,000 (p <0.01) which means there is a significant relationship between emotional intelligence and peer conformity with bullying behavior in students. These results made an effective contribution of 29.4%.Keywords: Emotional Intelligence; Peer Conformity; Bullying Behavior

Abstract

Uncontrollable aggressive behavior can trigger forms of crime that lead to criminal acts. This study aims to look at the effect of prophetic psychotherapy on the psychological well-being of prisoners. Research respondens was 13 peoples who had served a minimum detention period of 2 years. The research method uses action research, namely by conducting a diagnosis related to psychological problems experienced by prisoners and making action plan, taking action and resulting these interventions are used as basic research reflections. The results showed that prophetic psychotherapy had a significant influence to improve psychological well-being with p value 0.001 < 0.05 with t= 4.441, which menass that prophetic psychotherapy give significant effect of the psychological well-being. Fostered people feel the change that is a good emotional regulation, getting closer to God, being grateful, increasing quality of worship and having optimism in living life. Abstract

Family support, especially parents, can help students adapt to their educational transition from high school to college or university. For overseas students, of course the limited presence of parents will be a challenge as well as a separate opportunity to develop themselves. In addition to supporting factors the encouragement of intrinsic motivation from students' personalities also determines in an effort to get good academic achievement. One of the personality traits that helps a person to be able to maintain his intrinsic motivation is Grit, one of the concepts put forward by Angela Lee Ducksworth. Grit has two aspects, namely perseverance of effort and consistency of interest. The research instrument for measuring Grit will use a measuring instrument developed by Angela Lee Duckworth (2009). Measuring instruments in the form of a self-report questionnaire, validity r = 0,300-0,654 and reliability r = 0,888. Respondents from this study were 344 university X students with respondents' ages varying from 17 to 24 years. The mean score of the Grit variable in the Overseas group of students was 37.05 while the mean score in the non-Overseas group of students was 35.17. Overseas student groups showed higher Grit scores than non-overseas student groups. Individuals who have higher grits will be more diligent and diligent, are not easily discouraged by setbacks or failures, are more focused on projects or goals, and are more likely to complete tasks. Abstract

This research was motivated by UMKM in Sidoarjo Regency, totaling 2635 businesses involving female workers as employees, one of whom was a homeworker. This study aims to describe the description of women's subjective happiness who work with the putting out system. The method used in this study is qualitative with a case study approach. The subject of this study amounted to 3 women workers with putting out system. Determination of research subjects using purposive sampling technique. Data collection methods using semi-structured interview techniques. The results of the study describe each subject experiencing subjective happiness such as being satisfied with themselves, satisfied with life with family, good relations with peers, optimistic about the future, satisfied with health conditions and enjoying leisure time with family. Each subject has a picture of positive affect as well as feeling happy with the work that is currently occupied and does not cause signs of depression, sadness, despair so that there is no negative affect resulting from working with the putting out system. Abstract

The purpose of this study was to see what level of stress the work of members of the Padang City BASARNAS before being given training, and after being given stress management training. Furthermore, the research also highlighted the influence of stress management training in reducing work stress on members of the Padang City BASARNAS. The method used in this study is a quantitative method of experimental design with the technique of T-test test analysis with paired sample T-test that is processed with SPSS version 20.0 for Windows. The independent variables in this study were stress management training and work stress dependent variables. The population of this study are members of the Padang City BASARNAS. Using purposive sampling while the data collection techniques in this study use psychological measuring instruments in the form of scales, the scale of work stress totaling 24 items. The results showed that before being given stress management training 4 members of the Padang City BASARNAS had a high stress level category, and 4 people in the moderate category. After being given stress management training the stress level of BASARNAS members in Padang decreased by 5 people in the medium category, and 3 people in the low category. Effective stress management training reduces work stress on members of the Padang City BASARNAS as evidenced by the significant index results of 0,000 (<0.050). Similar training in areas of work with the potential for high levels of work stress is recommended to be carried out so that employee performance can be optimized due to efforts to manage employee stress. Abstract

Organizations always appreciate employees who have positive behavior, completion task, active, and committed to work. This study aims to examine the effect of organizational support and work-life balance on work engagement with happiness as a mediator variable. There were 122 nurses of a private hospital in Yogyakarta joint in this study. The data was collected through the Organizational Support Scale, Work-life Balance Scale, Happiness Scale, and Work Engagement Scale. Data analysis techniques with the SEM method with AMOS version 22.0. The results reveal that happiness is able to mediate the effect of organizational support and work-life balance on work engagement. The existence of organizational support as well as balance in life and work will foster happiness and promote positive behavior in organizations. Abstract

Stres was a condition that was close to our daily life, including to male students of medical faculty. Curriculum methods, large and integrated study materials demand, also long-term study times, could be enough stresors. Exercising has many benefits, not only physically but also to practice our response to stres condition. This study aimed to find relationship between exercise activities with stres tolerance, with hypothesis there were relationship between exercise activities with stres tolerance on male medical faculty students. Subjects on this study were 88 male students from medical faculty of Malahayati University. This study was an observation analytic study with cross sectional approach. Result data analyzed used Mann Whitney Test, with p value <0,05. The result of bivariate test using Mann Whitney shown that there was relationship of exercise activity with stres tolerance with p = 0,000 (p > 0,05).
