Abstract

This study aims to analyze whether there is an effect of intellectual capital on financial performance as moderated by the company's reputation. The financial performance is seen from the financial ratios, namely the ratio of profitability (return on assets).  This type of research is classified into comparative research. The population in this study were 45 banks listed on the Indonesian stock exchange in 2014-2018. Sampling in this study using purposive sampling method in order to obtain a sample of 36 banks with a total sample of 180 samples. The type of data used is secondary data obtained from the official website of the Indonesian stock exchange www.idx.id  and published financial reports on the websites of each bank sample. Based on the results of the regression test with a significant level of 0.1; The results obtained indicate (1) there is a significant effect of intellectual capital on financial performance. (2) company reputation moderates the relationship between intellectual capital and financial performance. Keywords: Intellectual capital, financial performance, company reputation

Abstract

This study aims to measure the level of Islamic Financial Literacyand to find out whether there is independentvariable effect, including gender, based on age, the last education and the average incomes per month, on thedependent variable, which is Islamic financial literacy. The dependent variable is measured by fourcomponents, namely financial knowledge, loans, investment and savings, and insurance. In this study, 320respondents were sampled. The data processing is done using SPSS. Based on the results of testing thehypothesis that has been done, it was found that gender, the last education and the average incomes per monthhave a significant effect on the level of islamic financial literacy. While based on age, there is no significanteffect on the level of respondent's Islamic financial literacy in the productive age community in the city ofPadang.

Abstract

This research analyzed: (1) the influence of leader member exchange on Organizational Citizenship Behavior at PT. Pelabuhan Indonesia II (Persero) Cabang Teluk Bayur (2) the influence Leader member exchange on employee engagement at PT. Pelabuhan Indonesia II (Persero) Cabang Teluk Bayur (3) the influence of employee engagement on Organizational Citizenship Behavior at PT. Pelabuhan Indonesia II (Persero) Cabang Teluk (4) the influence of Leader Member Exchange on Organizational Citizenship Behavior through Employee Engagement at PT. Pelabuhan Indonesia II (Persero) Cabang Teluk Bayur. The study is causal research. The population were all non-managerial employees of PT. Pelabuhan Indonesia II (Persero) Cabang Teluk Bayur, totaling 101 people. The number of samples determined using Slovin collected samples obtained by 78 people taken using proportional cluster random sampling. Collecting data using a questionnaire with Likert scale. The analysis technique used is SEM use SmartPLS analysis. This research found that: (1) Leader Member Exchange has positive and significant effect on organizational citizenship behavior in PT. Pelabuhan Indonesia II (Persero) Cabang Teluk Bayur, (2) Leader Member Exchange has positive and significant effect on Employee Engagement in PT. Pelabuhan Indonesia II (Persero) Cabang Teluk Bayur, (3) Employee Engagement has positive and significant effect on organizational citizenship behavior in PT. Pelabuhan Indonesia II (Persero) Branch Teluk Bayur, (4) Employee Engagement has significantly mediate the relationship between Leader Member Exchange on organizational citizenship behavior in PT. Pelabuhan Indonesia II (Persero) Cabang Teluk Bayur.

Abstract

This study analyzes (1) the effect of cognitive benefits on customer engagement (2) the effect of social integrative benefits on customer engagement (3) the effect of personal integrative benefits on customer engagement (4) the effect of hedonic benefits on customer engagement. The population in this study was societies used smartphone xiaomi in Padang city, the sample in this research 100 respondents, the taking technique was accidental sampling. The research was analyzed using the multiple regression analysis approach using SPPS software version 16. The results of the research were: (1) cognitive benefits has a significant effect on customer engagement (2) social integrative benefits has a significant effect on customer engagement (3) personal integrative benefits has an insignificant effect on customer engagement (4) hedonic benefits has a significant effect on customer engagement.

Abstract

This study aims to identify and provide priority proposals for improving the quality of airline services in Indonesia, case studies of X Airline and Y Airline using the AIRQUAL method and the Competitive Zone of Tolerance Based Importance-Performance Analysis (CZIPA). This research is classified as descriptive research. The population in this study are all X Air and Y passengers residing in West Sumatra. The sampling technique in this study is using purposive sampling technique with the criteria of respondents who have been on X or Y Airline at least 3 times and boarded the aircraft in the last 3 years. The total sample is 530 samples. The data used are primary data obtained from online questionnaires. Data analysis method used is the Competitive Zone of Tolerance Based Importance-Performance Analysis. The results of this study concluded that the AIRQUAL indicator that became the priority order of improvement for the X airline is the cleanliness of the well-maintained aircraft toilets (Airline Tangible dimension), airline officials were willing to provide their assistance to everyone on the plane (personal service dimension), airline officers dressed well (empathy dimension) and ticket prices that are the same value as the service received (image dimension). Whereas Y Airline gets a positive CZSQ and d value. This indicates that Y Airline still outperforms X Airline in the attributes included in quadrant A in the CZIPA matrix. The AIRQUAL indicators that enter into the A quadrant are the availability of seats and the provision of promotions that are very attractive to passengers (image dimension) and clean and comfortable seats (Airline Tangible dimension). Keywords: Service Quality, airqual, importance-performance analysys (IPA) competitive zone of tolerance based on importance-performance analysys (CZIPA)

Abstract

This study aims to test and empirically prove the effect of financial literacy, financial inclusion, and internal locus of control on the performance of MSMEs (micro, small, and medium enterprise) in Padang City. The object of this study is the MSMEs in the city of Padang. The number of samples is 399 respondents of MSME business operators, the sample selection uses random sampling, hypothesis testing is done by using multiple regression analysis and tested using the SPSS version 20.0 application. The results of the study indicate that financial literacy, financial inclusion, and internal locus of control have a positive and significant effect on MSME performance.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze: (1) the effect of using a selebgram as an endorsement on purchase intention (2) the effect of consumer attitudes on purchase intention. This type of research is a causative descriptive study. This research was conducted in the city of Padang. The population in this study were students of Padang State University who have an Instagram account. The sample used was 150 people using purposive sampling technique. The type of data in this study is primary data. Data were collected through questionnaires and analyzed using SPSS version 16. The results of this study indicate that: (1) endorsement has a positive and significant effect on purchase intention (2) consumer attitudes have a positive and significant effect on purchase intention. Keywords:  Endorsement, attitude, intention

Abstract

This study aims to analyze: (1) The influence of workload influences burnout on the employees of PT PLN (Persero) Unit Induk Wilayah Riau dan Kepulauan Riau. (2) The influence of the workload influences social support on the employees of PT. PLN (persero) Unit Induk Wilayah Riau dan Kepulauan Riau. (3) The effect of social support influences burnout on the employees of PT. PLN (Pesero) Unit Induk Wilayah Riau dan Kepulauan Riau. (4) The influence of workload on social support mediated by social support on the employees of PT. PLN (Persero) Unit Induk Wilayah Riau dan Kepulauan Riau. This type of research is describtive causative research. The population in this study employees of PT. PLN (Persero) Unit Induk Wilayah Riau and Kepulauan Riau, totaling 125 people. In this study the number of samples determined using Slovin collected samples obtained by 95 people taken using proportional clustered simple random sampling is the sample selected in each class or group that matches the proportion and added by each family member to the same sample. This research uses PLS (Partial Least Square) data analysis method using SmartPLS sotfware which is a variance-based structural equation analysis (SEM) that can simultaneously conduct measurement model testing as well as structural model testing. Regarding the proposed causal model, the data confirm the relationship established in the hypothesis. Therefore, it can be stated that (1) Workload has a significant positive effect on the burnout of the employees of PT. PLN (Persero) Unit Induk Wilayah Riau dan Kepulauan Riau. (2) The workload has a significant negative effect on social support on the employees of PT. PLN (Persero) Unit Induk Wilayah Riau dan Kepulauan Riau. (3) Social support has a significant negative effect to the burnout of the employees of PT. PLN (Persero) Unit Induk Wilayah Riau dan Kepulauan Riau. (4) Social support has significantly mediated the relationship between workload on burnout in PT. PLN (Persero) Unit Induk Wilayah Riau dan Kepulauan Riau. This analysis highlights the negative influence of workload on burn out and the role of social support as mediating the relationship of workload with burnout. This is clearly seen in this connection from an empirical point of view Keywords: Burnout, social support, workload.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to analyze: (1) The effect of market orientation on the performance of the food industry souvenir business in Padang City (2) The effect of Networking on the performance of the food industry souvenir business in Padang City.  This type of research is causative. The population in this study is the food industry souvenirs in the city of Padang, which is registered in the Department of Labor and Industry of the City of Padang. The total sample in this research is 30 MSMEs. This study shows that (1) Market Orientation has a significant effect on the performance of the souvenir industry business in Padang (2) Networking has a significant effect on the performance of the souvenir industry business in Padang.So, market orientation and networking have a significant effect on business performance. Market orientation and Networking both have the most influence on business performance in this study. For further research, it is expected to find more variables about business performance.  Keywords: Market orientation, networking

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to examine the effect of ownership structure on the firm performance of manufacturing companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX).  This research is a causative study. The population in this study are all manufacturing companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange for the period 2013-2018. This study uses secondary data published in the Indonesian Stock Exchange (IDX). Based on data collection, a sample of 75 companies from 144 listed manufacturing companies was obtained. The analytical method used is Multiple Regression using SPSS 24 data processing applications. The results of this study conclude (1) Family Ownership does not have a significant positive effect on firm performance (2) Managerial Ownership has a significant negative effect on firm performance (3) Institutional Ownership has a significant positive effect on firm performance (4) Foreign ownership does not have a significant positive effect on firm performance.  Keywords: Ownership structure, firm performance, Indonesia Stock Exchange.
