The aim of this journal publication is to disseminate the conceptual thoughts or ideas and research results that have been achieved in the area of community services. Swadaya: Indonesian Journal of Community Empowerment contains various activities of academician in handling and managing the various potentials, obstacles, challenges, and problems that exist in society. Implementation of service activities also involve the participation of the community and partners. Service activities are organized into an activity aimed at improving the welfare of society.

Abstract

Community service activities in the form of training and assistance in increasing awareness of the importance of feed management through extension activities (2) activities, namely: 1. Socialization, 2. Training and Mentoring. This training and mentoring aims to increase knowledge and skills to farmers in Dukuhbadag Village, Cibingbin Regency Kuningan District. The addition of knowledge and skills in Feed Processing Technology is expected to increase livestock production. The targets in this PPM activity are farmers in the village of Dukuhbadag, Cibingbin Regency Kuningan District. The method of activity in this service program consists of 2 activities: training and mentoring. 1) dissemination activities in the form of small-scale material and practices to farmers, 2) training and mentoring namely activities carried out after the training activities were carried out by conducting initial surveys, interviews and large-scale practices involving farmers. The results of this study with a positive response by supporting our activities are providing the availability of counseling places, participants' enthusiasm, the support of the Village Head of Dukuhbadag, government officials, farmer groups and each member of the PPM. The obstacles faced are limited time, place and budget so that this activity has not 100% stimulated farmers to implement this appropriate technology. The benefits that can be obtained by participants in the PPM activity include additional knowledge about Feed Management in the Dukuhbadag Village, Cibingbin Regency Kuningan District. Abstract

KKM (Kuliah Kerja Mahasiswa) merupakan salah satu bentuk pengabdian mahasiswa kepada masyarakat, dimana mahasiswa dituntut untuk berperan aktif dalam melaksanakan kegiatan-kegiatan yang telah disusun untuk dapat direalisasikan, bagaimana bersosialisasi, berinteraksi dengan kehidupan bermasyarakat dalam suatu tempat atau wilayah tertentu dengan menerapkan disiplin ilmu yang dimiliki kepada masyarakat. Lokasi Kuliah Kerja Mahasiswa ditempatkan di Desa Wangkelang, Kecamatan Lemah Abang, Kabupaten Cirebon, Provinsi Jawa Barat. Masyarakat Desa Wangkelang ini terdiri dari masyarakat yang heterogen. Namun walau dengan perbedaan tersebut ternyata tingkat kekeluargaan dan kegotong royongan masyarakatnya tetap terjaga. Ini dibuktikan dengan setiap kegiatan program, masyakat selalu ikut serta dalam membantu dan meramaikan setiap kegiatan. Dari hasil survey dan observasi yang dilakukan dapat kami ambil beberapa sektor penting bahwa di lingkungan masyarakat ini masih memerlukan pembenahan baik dari sektor fisik maupun non fisik. Kurangnya pengetahuan dan tindakan dalam pengolahan lingkungan dan SDA serta minimnya pengetahuan tentang kesehatan di Desa Wangkelang membuat penulis mencoba untuk membantu masyarakat sesuai dengan kemampuan penulis. Wujud bantuan tersebut dengan menginterpretasikan permasalahan ke dalam bentuk program kegiatan yang bertujuan untuk membantu masyarakat sesuai dengan masalah yang timbul. Adapun program tersebut yaitu bidang lingkungan yang terdiri dari kegiatan Kerja Bakti dan Penyediaan Bak Sampah. Bidang ekonomi dan sosial yaitu pemberdayaan warga dalam mengolah SDA dan pengolahan limbah rumah tangga. Bidang kesehatan yaitu pengolahan jasmani dan rohani dalam bentuk kegiatan senam aerobik serta bidang-bidang lainnya, Semua ini dibuat dan dirancang berdasarkan kebutuhan masyarakat DesaWangkelang, Kecamatan Lemahabang, Kabupaten Cirebon. Abstract

Pakan ternak fermentasi adalah salah satu langkah cerdas untuk menanggulangi kekurangan cadangan makanan bagi hewan ternak saat musim kekeringan. Metode pendahuluan yang digunakan pada kegiatan ini adalah survey dan wawancara tentang apakah efisien melakukan program ini dengan tujuan peternak di Desa Walahar teredukasi tentang program pembuatan probiotik dan pakan fermentasi (silase) sangat dianjur bagi para peternak di daerah yang dalam satu tahun peroide selalu mengalami kekeringan yang menyebabkan sulitnya mencari komoditas utama pakan seperti jerami. Kata kunci : pakan ternak fermentasi, silase, sosialisasi peternakan.

Abstract

Desa Nanggerang Jaya terletak di dataran tinggi atau pegunungan dengan ketinggian 357 mdl, sehingga letaknya terbebas dari banjir. Saat memasuki kawasan Desa Nanggerang Jaya ini akan terlihat hamparan lahan pertanian warga yang menghijau. Komoditas utama petani di daerah ini adalah padi sawah, adapun komoditas yang lainnya diantaranya : kacang panjang, umbi-umbian, cabe, bawang merah, tomat mentimun dan buncis. Mata pencaharian sebagian besar masyarakat Nanggerang Jaya adalah petani. Mata pencaharian lain masyarakat Nanggerang Jaya adalah karyawan swasta, PNS, TNI, POLRI, peternak dan Sebagainya. Adapun kelompok usaha yang ada di Nanggerang Jaya diantaranya : usaha jasa gas, listrik, BBM, dan air ( pengecer gas dan BBM). Kuliah kerja mahasiswa (KKM) Pembelajaran pemberdayaan masyarakat (PPM) Universitas Muhammadiyah Cirebon (UMC) ini, bertujuan membangun dan meningkatkan produktifitas masyarakat Desa Nanggerang Jaya Kecamatan Mandirancan Kabupaten Kuningan dalam berbagai aspek dan dapat memberikan manfaat pembelajaran bagi mahasiswa UMC berupa pengalaman langsung pengabdian kepada masyarakat melalui sosialisasi bank syariah, pelatihan pembukuan sederhana, dan sosialisasi pembuatan HPP. Kata Kunci: KKM PPM, Pengembangan Ekonomi, pelatihan dan sosialisasi ekonomi.

Abstract

This activity aims to provide the knowledge, training and assistance to the people Bakung Kidul village, District Jamblang, Cirebon regency, West Java province in managing waste through the development potential of the village. Implementation of community service is done by conducting a census to identify existing problems. Of the problems found further prioritize problems based on criteria ultrasound (Urgency, Seriousness, and Growth) were analyzed using these three elements. Having determined that the priority issues, then look for the root cause of the problem. To find the root cause of the problem used a causal diagram of Ishikawa (fish bone). Abstract

Community Service Activities in the form of a Workshop on Preparation of Teaching Factory Implementation and Vocational Alignment Programs held at SMK Negeri 1 Gunung Jati Cirebon District, Batik and Textile Creative Crafts Expertise Program on Friday, August 9, 2019, has provided meaningful participation for SMKN 1 Gunung Jati, received very good and enthusiastic welcome from the Teaching Factory Team, and DU / DI Batik Cirebon. This can be seen from the participants' enthusiasm when listening to the presentation of material from the speakers, some questions asked by the participants, and very interactive discussions between the speakers and workshop participants. From the results of the discussion and discussion of this activity obtained results, namely 1) Compilation of the mapping of basic competencies of knowledge and skills of batik and textile creative crafts expertise program SMKN 1 Gunung Jati Cirebon Regency for Batik subjects, and 2) Agreement on the alignment of graduate competencies that not only can make products but produce graduates who are ready to become batik entrepreneurs. Abstract

Riau Province Leading Tourism Village Planning in 2015 from the Riau Province Creative and Tourism Economy Office (2015: 210) explained that the analysis to determine the leading tourism village in the study was carried out in two stages. the first stage, the data shows that basically has a positive response to the development of tourism activities in all prospective tourist villages (15 villages). The analysis showed that the majority of respondents expressed their agreement if the village area was made into a rural tourism area. In the second stage, the results of the field survey data assessment showed four (4) selected villages that have the highest value in terms of potential, affordability, availability of facilities, and the variety of activities that can be carried out by tourists. One of them is Koto Sentajo Village, Sentajo Raya District, Kuantan Singingi Regency. Kuantan Singingi Culture has a very exotic sale value in 2017 Kuantan Singingi Culture is included in the National Strategic Tourism Area (KSPN) and is included as a major cultural tourism destination in Riau. Efforts to improve the competency of the tourism village community in Koto Sentajo include public speaking training, village web creation training, tour guide training and e-commerce training. Abstract

Various processing of the remaining production that has been developed in line with market demand. Much of the processing of leftover food production has been converted back into useful and economically valuable products. This is the reason for entrepreneurs and craftsmen looking for loopholes to develop and find new innovations for the rest of the processing of products that can be used as food or as products that can be sold in the free market. The results of the site survey in the field prove that tofu waste is widely used as a mixture of sheep and cattle feed. So that the rest of the production of tofu production such as tofu dregs still has not been processed again into economically valuable processed products such as pepes hintip tofu, tofu crackers, tofu nuggets and tofu dregs. This activity is in the form of training on processing tofu waste into snacks, crackers and sambal from tofu waste. Keywords: processed food products, training, tofu waste.

Abstract

Ampo is a natural mineral that is believed by some people in the Jatiwangi area to have good benefits for pregnant women. The practice of consuming ampo is known as geophagy. In ancient and modern human societies, geophagy has become a widely practiced and sometimes very complex practice that was first mentioned by Aristotle, described by Dioscorides in 40 A.C., as a means of making drugs and poisons (Danford, 1982). During the pregnancy phase more nutrients are needed to meet the intake for the mother and fetus. The eastern Majalengka region has a customary culture system, where pregnant women consume ampo. It is inseparable from the content contained in ampo seen from the needs of the mother and fetus during pregnancy. The purpose of this paper is to describe the benefits and effects of ampo consumption for pregnant women. The research data needed in the form of local wisdom of pregnant women in the Jatiwangi community who consume ampo obtained by using ethnographic methods. The results of several previous research publications were explored as knowledge that ampo has some nutrients such as calcium, iron, potassium, and zinc minerals that can be absorbed by the body. So that the use of ampo as an alternative nutrient for pregnant women is considered as local wisdom can be developed more broadly. Keywords: ampo, socialization, local wisdom, pregnancy.

Abstract

Community service activities carried out in the village of Nanggerang Jaya Mandirancan. Community service activities are carried out based on the identification of problems found in Nanggerang Jaya Village. The main problem is about education.
