Abstract

The transformation of institutions from STAIN to IAIN and UIN gave birth to new problems in the scientific aspects of graduates who are sometimes ready for religious studies but weak in general science or vice versa. Arabic in the Ma'had Al-jamiah environment is a necessity because it is a tool to be used as a communication tool, so it is necessary to form biah lughoh arabiah. The purpose of this study is to determine the application of biah lughoh rabiah at Ma'had Al-jamiah IAIN Padangsidimpuan. This is a qualitative descriptive study which is carried out to produce qualitative data related to the implementation of biah lughoh Arabic.at Ma'had Al-jamiah IAIN Padangsidimpuan. The research data collection method is carried out through observation, interviews and documentation. The data analysis technique in this research is by using data triangulation. The results of this study indicate that the implementation of biah lughoh arabiah at IAIN Padangsidimpuan is carried out in an integrated manner between Ma'had Al-jamiah and the Language Development Center, where formal learning is carried out by the Language Development Center which includes all aspects of language both elements and maharoh and Ma' had Al-jamiah focused on mufrodat and kalam as daily communication needs (mumarotsah), then from the five types of Arabic environment, environment of vision (Al-Biah al-marwiyah), Auditory and visual environment (Al-biah As-syam iyyah and Al-marwiyah), social environment or teaching and learning interactions using Arabic, academic environment, psychological environment. There are two types of environment that are not maximized, namely the vision environment and audio because they still have limitations on facilities. This study concludes that the implementation of biah lughoh at IAIN Padangsidimpuan is dominant in the social, academic and psychological environment and adheres to an integrative system.

Abstract

This study aims to reveal the possibility of using interpretation books to teach Arabic to speakers of other languages, by translating the meanings of the verses of the Holy Quran into a verse in order to find out the meanings of the Word of Allah directly. This research has taken an analytical approach in order to identify the objective of the subject of the research on al-Fatihah and early al-Baqarah. It has been found that many words in the early al-Baqarah are repeated more than one position, without going into the differences and uses of the word, but only knowing the overall meanings of the translated word in consideration of the backgrounds of learners and listeners committed to attending weekly lessons as well as taking into account the ages of applicants. The researcher has reached several conclusions, the most important of which is that it is possible to use Quranic interpretation in the teaching of Arabic language, especially for religious purposes for the general public, because such books are related to people's daily lives. This Quranic interpretation has specifically helped learners understand their repetitive language patterns and because the al-Baqarah contains duplicate words, enabling attendees to understand their meanings once without any fatigue on one side, and helping them to translate duplicate words in the other verse.

Abstract

The lack of learning media in the Arabic learning process makes it difficult for students to understand the material and feel bored and they think that learning Arabic is very difficult, especially in understanding material about tarkib or Arabic rules. With these problems, the researchers developed an android application-based tarkib learning media for 7th grade junior high school students, with the hope of facilitating student understanding and being effective in its use. The method used in this research is research and development. The result of this research is that the learning media is suitable for students to use as learning media and is effective in its use.

Abstract

This study aims to describe, analyze the cause, and offer some alternative solutions to the problem of Arabic pronunciation disorders in the students of the madrasah ibtidaiyah in Malang city. With the consideration that the earlier the problem of pronunciation disorders in madrassa students is known, the sooner the cause and solution can be known. The research method used is a qualitative descriptive analysis method, with data collection techniques using observation, interviews and documentation. The results obtained in this study are a) there are four types of Arabic pronunciation disorders in madrasah ibtidaiyah’s students in Malang city, namely: omission, substitution, distortion and addition. The most numerous forms are omissions, and the least are additions; b) there are three factors that cause pronunciation disorders in students of madrasah ibtidaiyah in Malang city: psychiatric factors, physical factors and social factors; c) the solutions that can be used to overcome pronunciation disorders in students also involve three factors: psychiatric factors, physical factors, social factors, and learning factors.

Abstract

The study aims to identify the importance of language games and their use developing reading comprehension skills, which are(reading speed, pronunciation accuracy, understanding the semantic meaning of words and sentences, ability to extract the meanings of words from within the text, ability to correct reading errors, ability to construct error sentences for students of third grade of primary school. In dealing with this issue, the current study adopts the applied descriptive approach in procedure and analysis in order to test the content of the success of language games in developing the reading comprehension skills of learners of Arabic as a second language, in particular at the elementary level. Because language games have educational and psychological benefits that are reflected in the students linguistic and personal performance. It helps them to receive lessons with fun, vitality and entertainment and its use shows children a high spirit of competition and participation, and accustoms them to spontaneity in using language in a natural way. Then the researcher concluded that the use of language games in teaching Arabic is a functional direction, and played an effective role in raising the level of students، comprehensive skills.

Abstract

This study aims to describe the satisfaction of PKPBA students with the use of the WhatsApp platform in learning Arabic. The Learning Arabic PKPBA consist of Istima’ Learning, Kalam Learning, Qiroah Learning, Kitabah Learning Mufradat Learning and Tarakib Learning. This research uses descriptive statistical analysis method in processing the data. The population of this research is PKPBA students who are at the Faculty of Humanities UIN Maulana Malik Ibrahim Malang, amounting to 400. Researchers took 61 students as samples of this study. The results of this study indicate that the satisfaction of PKPBA students towards learning Arabic using WhatsApp is very high. Maharah Istima's learning got a satisfaction score of 52.8%', Kalam got a satisfaction score of 60.8%, Qiroah got a satisfaction score of 57.1%, Kitabah got a satisfaction score of 56.1%, Mufradat got a satisfaction score of 31.2% and Tarakib got satisfaction value 53.3%.

Abstract

Fun learning will make students happy and not bored in participating in learning, to create this the teacher is required to be creative and innovative and understand the condition of students, one of the learnings that are in great demand by students is game-based learning. the purpose of this study was to analyze the language games applied in vocabulary learning based on a humanistic approach, The research method used is a qualitative descriptive analysis method, with data collection techniques using observation and interviews. The results of this study concluded that the learning process using games language makes students more active and enthusiastic and does not feel bored in mufradat learning besides student-centered learning, so in this case, the teacher is only a facilitator. The language games used are guessing the vocabulary by movement, saying the vocabulary by continuing, singing the vocabulary, and playing how many alif ba' are there. Internal factors that influence the application of language games are student abilities, student desires, and student enthusiasm, while external factors that influence the application of language games are teacher abilities, learning media, and the school environment.

Abstract

The Arabic subject contents at Islamic intermediate schools in Indonesia are still need to be developed. This is necessary in order to support and achieve the Arabic learning objectives in Indonesia. As Arabic subjects are mostly popular and studied in every Islamic intermediate schools in Indonesia, especially in Islamic intermediate schools where there are dormitories. The purpose of this article is to construct the educational content renewal of Arabic language subject at Islamic intermediate schools in Indonesia for the sake of Arabic learning objectives achievement in Indonesia. The article used the descriptive analytics method as the research construct the educational content renewal of Arabic language subject at Islamic intermediate schools in Indonesia by using the questionnaire, interview and observation tool, which clarifies the content of the Arabic language courses in the currently used curriculum, in order to construct the suitable Arabic contents. The result of this article is the Arabic language subject contents would make listening skill and speaking skill as the Arabic study plans at Islamic intermediate schools in Indonesia. Based on the findings, the author recommended the need to choose the supporting educational contents and appropriate courses in order to obtain the educational goals in teaching the Arabic language at the intermediate stage in Indonesia, with the provision of modern digital teaching aids of all kinds so that teaching the Arabic language becomes an interesting and effective process. Then finding a teacher's guide or teacher's guide to facilitate the education process.

Abstract

This research discusses the steps of Arabic language learning reflection that can improve students' listening skills. The research method used is a qualitative method with a narrative approach. The research data was collected from in-depth interviews, participant observation, and document analysis. The data generated were in the form of interview transcripts, field notes, observation notes, written documents, and video recordings. As for analyzing the data, the researcher used a narrative approach that involved the process of reading and understanding the data that had been collected, then identifying the main patterns and themes that emerged from the data. Furthermore, researchers categorized, compared, and connected these themes to make interpretations and understand the meaning obtained. The findings of this study show that activities such as listening then guessing style, listening then expressing meaning, listening then making sentences, and listening then writing sentences quickly can help improve students' listening skills. This research shows that although the use of innovative methods and media in Arabic language learning is quite diverse, there are still various problems that have not been covered, especially in terms of students' listening skills. The novelty of this study lies in the focus on strengthening learning reflection which can be a guide for teachers to improve the quality of their learning.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the present tense verb in the frequent Qur'anic reading and the construction of grammatical study. This study discusses the significant differences in visualism caused by differences in the customary forms that preceded them. The study also contributes to providing students with language fluency. The results of differences in the expression of the present tense verb for the difference in the form of the tool in this study include Arabic syntax of the present tense in the frequent Qur'anic readings with linking the state of the case with the meanings, difference of structure and so on. This study uses qualitative data with primary data sources from the original books such as Al-Qur'an, As-Sab'ah fil Qira'at, An-Nasyr fi al-Qira'at al-'Asyr and secondary data sources in the form of relevant books. The data collection methods are library research to collect some datas with Arabic linguistics approach. The results of the study are the difference in the syntax of the present tense in the frequent Qur’anic readings with linking the state of the case with the meanings, and the difference in the structure of the present tense in the frequent Qur’anic readings with an explanation of the impact of this difference in the noble verse that contribute to building the linguistic ability of the students.
