The study was analytic survey research with a cross sectional approach. The sample in the study was 36 employees of the Sei Suka Public Health Center, and using non probability sampling with total sampling techniques and 36 patients at the Sei Suka Public Health Center with purposive sampling technique. Data analysis was univariate, bivariate with Spearman Rank correlation test and multivariate with multiple linear regression test at 95% confidence level, α = 5%. The results of the study showed that the planning phase activities were good, the implementation phase was not good and the reporting phase was not good. Service quality was still low. There was a relationship between the planning, implementation and reporting stages of monitoring evaluation with service quality. The implementation phase of monitoring evaluation was the most related variable to service quality in Sei Suka Public Health Center, Batu Bara District in 2019.The planning phase must be carried out by involving stakeholder and the health professionals involved. The implementation phase of monitoring evaluation must be carried out based on the planning phase that had been made, carried out on time and regularly periodically. The results of the reporting phase of monitoring evaluation must be socialized and communicated with all employees and service units involved.

Abstract

Cervical cancer is a malignant disease of the cervix caused by the HumanPapillomaVirus. In 2012, around 270,000 women died of cervical cancer, more than 85% of these deaths occurred in low and middle income countries. In developed countries cervical cancer is in 10th rank, while in developing countries is still first rank and the main cause is cancer deaths. Coverage of IV examinations and Clinical Breast Examination in North Sumatra Province until 2016 were 130,025 people (7%). Pintupadang Health Center in 2017, mothers who performed IVAs test were 138 people and 116 people in 2018. This figure is still relatively low compared to the annual target (2,047 people in 2018).This type of research use descriptive analytical with a cross sectional approach which aims to determine the factors associated with the participation of mothers for IVA tests at the Pintupadang Health Center. The population in this study were all mothers who visited the Pintupadang Health Center. The sample in this study was 96 respondents, the sample technique was consecutive sampling. Data collection techniques use questionnaires and univariate, bivariate and multivariate data analysis with logistic regression analysis. The results showed that factors related to maternal participation in the IVA test were education (p = 0.037), knowledge (p = 0.002), attitudes (p = 0.010), husband's support (p = 0.007), health care support (p = 0.011) , there was no influence between access to the IVA examination service (p = 0.309) and maternal participation in the IVA test. The most dominant factor is knowledge with p value 0.007 and RP 3.499.It is expected that mothers can increase their knowledge and awareness to carry out IVA tests to detect early cervical cancer.

Abstract

COVID-19 is the infectious disease caused by the most recently discovered corona virus. This new virus and disease were unknown before the outbreak began in Wuhan, China, in December 2019. Case fatality rates (CFR) and recovery rates are important readouts during epidemics and pandemics. In this article, an international analysis was performed on the ongoing coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19) pandemic. Data were retrieved from accurate databases according to the user’s guide of data sources for patient registries, CFR and recovery rates were calculated for each country. A comparison of CFR between countries was observed for 28th April 2020. The confirmed case fatality ratio (CFR) is the total number of deaths divided by the total number of confirmed cases at one point in time. Within Southeasth Asia, the confirmed CFR, as reported by the Center for Strategic and International Studies (CSIS) is 2.3%, and RR is 25.02%. Singapore has the highest number of confirmed cases, but has CFR close to zero. Indonesia has the highest value of CFR 8.13%, and has value of RR 13.18% lower than Malaysia’s RR 67.63%. Indonesia’s confirmed Covid-19 cases are rising extremely rapidly, and it now tops the region in terms of deaths from the virus. Meanwhile, Vietnam, Kambodia, and Laos have no death of confirmed cases. Vietnam and Singapore have shown their ability to managed the pandemic with its promt and aggressive response, they have been hailed as a global public-health model.

The results of this study indicate that there is a relationship between years of service (p = 0.001), training (p = 0,000) with compliance with the use of personal protective equipment (PPE) at Medan Bina Kasih Hospital in 2018. And there is no knowledge relationship (p = 0.051), age (p = 0.783), gender (p = 0.371), education (p = 0.141) with compliance with the use of personal protective equipment (PPE) at Bina Kasih Medan Hospital in 2018. It is expected that hospital management will hold Radiographer training regularly by both formal and non-formal educational institutions (professional organizations) through training in workshop training and the like.
