Abstract

Based on the preliminary survey conducted, it is known that the number of mothers visiting children under five to Posyandu in Desa Sialagundi , Kecamatan Sipirok , Kabupaten South Tapanuli in 2019 did not reach the national target of Posyandu visits of 90%. This study aims to analyze the relationship between your mother's knowledge, mother's attitude, health care provider support, family support and the distance of the posyandu to your visit to Posyandu. This type of research is quantitative with a cross-sectional approach conducted from March 2020 in Desa Sialagundi, Kecamatan Sipirok, Kabupaten South Tapanuli in 2020. This study was conducted on 60 mothers. Statistical analysis shows that all independent variables are related to the activity of your mother's visit to Posyandu with p-values (Mother's Knowledge: 0.002, Mother's Attitude: 0.001, Support of Health Officers: 0, 004, Family Support: 0.002, Posyandu Distance: 0.015). At the Multivariate analysis stage it is known that the most related variable is the Attitude of the Mother with sig. 0.041 and Family Support has the largest Exp (B) value: 8.264) so it can be assumed that mothers who get family support will be 8.264 times more active in visiting Posyandu. It is hoped that Health Officers will be more active in providing information about the importance of routine Posyandu visits, especially to mothers and families.

Abstract

In 2005 WHO, UNICEF, in collaboration with the Ministry of Health implemented an approach in early detection in toddlers, an MTBS program. Integrated Management of Sick Toddlers (MTBS) is an integrated approach in the management of sick toddlers and young infants with a focus on the health of children aged 0- 59 months comprehensively and efficiently. This study aims to determine the factors associated with the implementation of integrated management of sick children in the Health Center of Lhokseumawe City. The study was analytic with cross sectional design on March 1 - 14, 2020. The research subjects used a total population method, namely 114 staff of the Lhokseumawe City Health Center staff who provided basic health services who had attended MTBS training by using a questionnaire. Data were analyzed with Chi-Square test and multiple logistic regression. The results show there is the influence of knowledge (ρ-value = 0.001), motivation ρ-value = 0,000), the availability of tools (ρ-value = 0.075), and reward (ρ-value = 0,000). The results of multivariate analysis showed that the factor that most significantly influenced the MTBS implementation was the motivation factor with a value of ρ-value of 0,000. It is suggested that officers who have received training are expected to be required to hold training on the job training, with the aim of refresing and increasing the implementation of IMCI supervision by including technical guidance, on the management of IMCI activities in the puskesmas, and recording / reporting the implementation of the IMCI program by the City DINKES Lhokseumawe, so that the implementation of IMCI is in line with WHO and Ministry of Health expectations.

The study used was a cross-sectional study using an explanatory research approach to analyze the effect of community participation (willingness, ability and opportunity) on the prevention of Dengeu Hemorrhagic Fever (DHF) in Tanjung Penyembal Kelurahan with 80 respondents. The analysis showed that the willingness variable (p = 0.001), ability (p = 0.007) and chance (p = 0.005) influenced the prevention of DHF. It is recommended to the Department of Health to be able to involve the community since the beginning of the implementation of the DHF prevention program, and to form a special team in the community to provide information and regular counseling to other communities, in order to increase the willingness, knowledge and ability of the community on how to handle DHF. It is expected that the Department of Health should establish a Training Program for Community Independence in the Prevention of Dengue Fever, wherein later this Village can be used as a Pilot Village for Community Involvement in Respecting Dengue in the region and also improve supervision and sweep larvae, as well as provide sanctions to the community where DHF mosquito larvae are present. The village / kelurahan apparatus should be able to work together with other communities to carry out environmental cleanliness (DHF PSN) to control dengue mosquito larvae.

Abstract

One of the duties of the Puskesmas is to carry out Community Health Efforts with indicators that assess the achievement of the Minimum Service Standards target. Achievement of Minimum Service Standards indicates that there are essential Public Health Effort programs that have not reached the target. The forum used to help achieve the Minimum Service Standard targets is a mini Puskesmas workshop. This study aims to determine the use of the mini Puskesmas workshop by the program officer in achieving the performance targets of the Essential Public Health Efforts program at the Puskesmas. The research method uses descriptive exploratory qualitative. The main informant is the person in charge of the essential Public Health Program and the additional informant is the Head of the Puskesmas, the Coordinator of Public Health Efforts and the financial manager. The results showed that the knowledge of program managers about the mini workshop was quite good, they considered the mini workshop very important and carried out the resulting agreement. But the mini workshop did not guarantee that the performance target would be achieved. Many factors hindered it, on Maternal and Child Health because the K4 achievement calculation could not be completed in one year and K4 drop out. In the family planning program, mothers of childbearing age are reluctant to use contraceptives and their husband's perception is not good. In the Disease Prevention and Control program on early detection of cervical and breast cancer, the reluctance of women aged 30-50 years to do early detection is due to shame, lack of knowledge, perceptions of poor health, and the lack of active roles from cadres and cross-sectoral. In screening visual and hearing acuity due to new performance indicators, lack of competence and number of officers. It is recommended that the person in charge of the program be more active in managing the program, coordinating with other programs and for the Head of the Puskesmas to improve monitoring and evaluation of the performance of the person in charge of the program.
