Abstract

This research aims to describe the Problem Based Learning (PBL) Model in order to improve the Indonesian language learning achievement of class IX-F students at Madrasah Tsanawiyah Negeri 2 Kudus in the Odd Semester of the 2019/2020 Academic Year. The subjects of this classroom action research were students of class IX-F. The research variables consisted of student variables and teacher variables. The research was conducted in two cycles and each cycle consisted of four stages, namely: planning, implementing, observing, and reflecting. The results showed that there was an increase in student achievement in class IX-F. The increase was indicated by (1) the average student achievement in cycle I was 7.08 and cycle II was 8.68; (2) completeness of student learning in the first cycle of 15 students or 50.00% and 15 students or 50.00% who did not complete; and (3) completeness of classical learning in the first cycle was 50.00% and in the second cycle it reached 100.00%. The competency evaluation result of cycle II is better than cycle I which reached the completeness indicator. There is an increase in student activity during the learning process individually or in groups. The student response reached 82.83% as high category.

Abstract

This study aims to describe the role of educational technology in perspective freedom to learn in the 4.0 era. The research implementation is about how teachers understand the concept of freedom to learn in applying educational technology as the basis for learning in the 4.0 era. The program was designed to improve students' literacy and numeracy skills following Indonesia's subpar achievement in the global education assessment, PISA. The research method uses descriptive analysis techniques with literature review. The research results explain that educational technology a very important in freedom to learn program in the era 4.0 thus improving the quality of education. This condition can be seen from the implementation of the main policy on freedom of learning which provides freedom to innovate and freedom to learn independently for schools, teachers, and students. Abstract

This study focuses on teacher’s perception on the implementation of usingWhatsapp and Youtube at FLTM class at English Department, MuhammadiyahUniversity Kendari since teacher’s perception has not been investigated thoroughly inthe earlier research on the implementation of using WhatsApp and Youtube media as alearning tools. The objective of this study is to find out the teacher’s perception on theimplementation of using Whatsapp messanger and Youtube in class B 5t h semesters ofFLTM classroom at Muhammadiyah University students of Kendari . This studyemploys qualitative study design to find out lecturer’s perception in teaching processusing Whatsapp and Youtube. The instruments used in this study are documentati onand interview and the data are analyzed using data reduction, data display, meaningcoding, meaning condensation, meaning interpretation, conclusion drawing and datatriangulation. The findings reveal that the teacher considered to implement Whatsappand Youtube in teaching have several advantages and disadvantages in learningobjective and outcomes. This can be viewed in the arrangement of knowledge of subjectmatter, teacher-students interaction, design of instruction, and course management.Furthermore, teacher’s beliefs in using whatsapp and youtube in teaching appeared to bestrongly connected to the flexibility of teaching and learning process and learningcontent availability.

Abstract

The quality of Islamic Education learning is still faced with various problems, even though the elements that should exist have carried out their respective functions, therefore this research aims to describe the role of the teacher working group in improving the quality of PAI learning. To achieve the intended objectives, this research was designed with a qualitative approach, the data source of this research consists of the chairman and members of the Pai Teacher Working Group (KKG), principals and some learners, research data obtained through focus group discussions, observations, interviews and documentation studies. All data are analyzed interactively according to the stages of collection, reduction, presentation, and verification. From the results of the research that has been done and from the objectives contained in the research can be concluded that the role of the Islamic Religious Education KKG in order to improve the quality of learning PAI Elementary School is KKG-PAI as a forum for religious teachers by conducting various programs of coaching activities through regular monthly meetings, helping religious teachers in order to solve all problems encountered by teachers in the classroom in carrying out their duties and basic functions as PAI teachers.

Abstract

This study aims to obtain a description of the correlation between teacher certification, teacher work motivation, and teacher performance at the Wanasari District Elementary School, Brebes District. This research uses a quantitative approach with descriptive analysis method. The population and sample of this study were certified elementary school teachers. The results showed that (1) there was a significant correlation between teacher certification and teacher performance. (2) there is a significant correlation between work motivation and teacher performance. (3) there is a significant correlation between teacher certification and work motivation simultaneously with teacher performance.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui peningkatan partisipasi aktif dan hasil belajar siswa setelah pembelajaran dengan menggunakan pendekatan problem solving melalui media puzzle. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian tindakan kelas. Subjek penelitian ini siswa kelas VII A di SMP Negeri 2 Alla. Kriteria keberhasilan untuk partisipasi aktif apabila ada 15 siswa pada tiap indikator, sedangkan untuk hasil belajar apabila nilai yang diperoleh 25 siswa mencapai nilai minimal 70 yakni batas nilai KKM. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah observasi, tes dan dokumentasi. Untuk menganalisis data dari hasil lembar observasi partisipasi aktif dan nilai rata-rata kelas mengunakan statistik deskriptif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penerapan pendekatan problem solving melalui media puzzle pada mata pelajaran PKn dapat meningkatkan partisipasi aktif dan hasil belajar siswa. Hal ini terbukti dari hasil observasi peningkatan partisipasi aktif belajar siswa pada siklus II.

Abstract

There was also an increase in the quality of learning, marked by an increase in student activeness in the learning process in accordance with the results of observations during the classroom action from cycle I was 61.85% increased to 72.77% in cycle II. Therefore this research can be used as input or reference for teachers who face problems in learning Indonesian. This is because this research has been proven to have a positive effect, namely by increasing the activity and learning outcomes of Indonesian language for class VIII students of SMP Negeri 2 Alla, Enrekang Regency. Abstract

Tujuan penelitian untuk mendiskripsikan kebijakan otonomi perguruan tinggi sebagai dampak reformasi keuangan dalam bidang pendidikan. Kebijakan otonomi sudah dianggap final, tetapi masih menjadi perdebatan sebab kebijakan otonomi belum diketahui arahnya akan kemana. Banyak kalangan menilai bahwa kebijakan otonomi sebagai bentuk reformasi keuangan dalam penyelenggaraan pendidikan agar perguruan tinggi lebih mandiri dalam urusan keuangan. Perguruan tinggi diberikan tanggung jawab untuk meningkatkan penerimaan negara bukan pajak melalui instrumen pendidikan. Kebijakan otonomi untuk menciptakan transparansi maupun akuntabilitas justru menimbulkan dampak dalam tataran pengelolaannya. Dampaknya perguruan tinggi berusaha secara mandiri untuk menambah income guna membiayai biaya operasional yang tidak memadai. Penelitian menyimpulkan: 1) kebijakan otonomi perguruan tinggi diarahkan untuk berkompetisi dalam berbagai bidang, agar dapat bersaing untuk menjadi universitas bergengsi dan berkelas. 2) perguruan tinggi menginginkan diberikan kebebasan secara desentralistik agar dikelola secara mandiri tanpa intervensi pihak lain. 3) perguruan tinggi dituntut mencari pendanaan untuk meningkatkan penerimaan negara bukan pajak untuk membiayai biaya operasional yang tidak dialokasikan pemerintah. 4) dampak kebijakan otonomi menciptakan praktek komersialisasi, menyebabkan biaya pendidikan yang tidak terjangkau.

Abstract

The goal of this study is to see if playing a four-on-four game may help pupils improve their passing skills. This study is a collaborative and interactive classroom action research project. It is divided into two cycles, each of which includes planning, implementation, and observation, as well as reflection. A total of 31 pupils from class IX A were included in the study. Tests are used in data collecting strategies. Data analysis procedures are descriptively qualitative and quantitatively carried out. The results revealed that students' passing abilities improved when they played volleyball in a four-on-four format. For example, according to the findings of the cycle I evaluated, 10 students (32.26 percent) finished their learning, while 21 students (67.74 percent) had not yet done it. The results of the cycle II examination revealed that 29 pupils (93.55 percent) had finished their learning, while 2 students (6.45 percent) had not. Keywords: passing down, game 4 on 4. According to the average findings obtained, the second cycle of the cycle I saw a 20.18 percent gain. As a result, it can be inferred that using 4 on 4 games can improve a student volleyball player's passing abilities.

Abstract

Experts believed that early childhood education was the first formal admission into formal education for a human being. Therefore, the goal of this research is to determine the degree of learning accomplishment of children who have never attended kindergarten. This study is descriptive in nature and qualitative. With multi-storey sampling approaches, the study was implemented at elementary school (SD) Eata Oleo District Bombana, with the population in the study being a student of SD Matooleo Subdistrict (selecting 5 elementary schools in Matooleo sub-district). A total of 66 primary school children were chosen for the study. According to the findings of the study, primary school pupils who had no prior learning experience in kindergarten had a fairly excellent accomplishment on average. Hence, it is anticipated that a kid must have completed kindergarten before enrolling in primary school.
