Abstract

This research aims to improve learning achievement in Mathematics on the subject of Opportunities using Team Assisted Individualization (TAI) learning model at the grade IX-E of SMP 3 Imogiri academic year 2016/2017. This type of research is a classroom action research conducted in three cycles, in which each cycle consists of the stages of planning, implementation, observation and reflection. The subjects of this research were the students of grade IX-Eof SMP Imogiri 3 academic year 2016/2017, meanwhile the object was the students’ achievement in learning Mathematics. The results showed that the useof Team Assisted Individualization (TAI) learning model can increase students’ achievement on the grade IX-E of SMP 3 Imogiri with the results of each cycle showed as follows: Students who already met the KKM (Kriteria Ketuntasan Minimal) on the cycle 1 was 87,50% and the cycle 2 was 100%. The average value was 82,50 on the cycle 1, and 95,00 . The value range between the highest and lowest score was 80,00 on the cycle 1, 20,00 on the cycle 2.

Abstract

The problems that exist in the IPS study include lack of students’ interest toward this subject, many materials involved and the low level of students learning outcomes. The main and urgent problem to be solved in this IPS study is the low level of students learning outcomes. This research aims to improve students learning outcomes in IPS study through bamboo dance as one of the types in Cooperative learning. This research was conducted on the students of IX C SMP 3 Imogiri in 2016 / 2017 academic Year, involving 24 students. This research is a classroom action research that conducted in four meetings within two cycles, and focused on improving students learning outcomes in each cycle. The steps run in this research include: planning, action, reflection/evaluation and follow up. The data in students learning outcomes includes the result of students competence evaluation in achieving Minimum Passing Grade Criteria and the students’ activeness level. The result if this research was the improvement of students’ learning outcomes based on the Minimum Passing Grade Criteria. It showed that the result of Post test in the first meeting in Cycle 1 is 62.50% and improved to 87.50% in the second meeting in the same cycle, and in the first meeting of cycle 2 improved to 91.30% and 87.50% in the second meeting of cycle 2. The result of students’ competence evaluation in the end of cycle 1 is 91.66% and 91.66% in the end of cycle 2. The observation sheet showed that the level of students’ activeness in the first meeting of cycle 1 is 83.33% and improved to 87.50% in the second meeting of cycle 1, and improved to 100% in the first and second meetings of cycle 2.

Abstract

The supervision of PAI (Islamic Education subject) supervisor and headmaster is an important factor in improving low teacher professionalism. This study aimed to identify how much PAI supervisor’s supervision (X1) and headmaster’s supervision (X2) contributed towards teacher professionalism (Y). This research was an associative study with a quantitative approach. The data collection technique used questionnaires and documentations for the respondent population as much as 72 PAI teachers of all vocational high schools in Gunungkidul Regency. The results showed that: (1) There was a significant positive correlation between X1 and Y (rX1Y = 0.468), the contribution of X1 to Y, as much as 21.90%, was considered small, while the remaining 78.10% was the contribution of other variables excluded from the study, (2) There was a significant positive correlation between X2 and Y (rX2Y = 0.55), the contribution of X2 to Y, as much as 30.25%, was considered small, while the remaining 69.75% was the contribution of other variables excluded from the study, (3) There was a significant positive correlation between X1 and X2 (all together) and Y (rX1X2Y = 0.613), the contribution of X1 together with X2 to Y, as much as 37.58%, was considered small, while the remaining 62.42% was the contribution of other variables excluded from the study. Based on these results, the researcher would recommend the PAI supervisor and headmaster of all vocational high schools in Gunungkidul Regency (1) to improve the aspect of supervision follow-up considering that this aspect was the lowest among the aspects of supervision planning and supervision implementation, (2) to improve supervision synergy/cooperation between the PAI supervisor and headmaster, and the PAI teachers of all vocational high schools in Gunungkidul Regency should improve the teaching-learning implementation considering that this aspect was the lowest compared to the aspects of lesson planning and evaluation.

Abstract

SERVQUAL model developed by Parasuraman, Zeitaml & Berry (1985) has been widely used to measure external customer satisfaction, but the models to measure internal customer satisfaction in the field of education in Indonesia is still rarely done, so in this study the internal customer satisfaction measurement will be done using ISQ models (Internal Service Quality) in the field of educational services. This study aims to assess the internal customer perceptions of a high school internal quality services with ISQ models in the district Rongkop and Karangmojo, this study also aims to identify differences in perceptions of internal customers in the education services with ISQ dimensions (reliability, responsivenes, assurance, empathy and tangible,) based on personal characteristics (highschool status, profession, job tenure, and gender) as schools demographics in the Rongkop and Karangmojo district. This type of research is descriptive quantitative research methods, data collection using 22 ISQ item questionnaire, survey instruments were adopted based on SERVQUAL dimensions (reliability, responsiveness, assurance, empathy and tangible). The results showed that perceptions of internal customers in SMA 1 Rongkop, SMA Muhammadiyah Rongkop, SMA 1 Karangmojo and SMA Pembangunan Karangmojo achieve the lowest mean score on the dimensions of reliability (4.01), whereas the highest scores on the dimensions of assurance (4,19). There is no statistically significant difference in the perception of reliability dimension with all personal characteristics. There is a statistically significant difference in the perception of responsive dimension with the work period personal characteristics. The internal customer perception of assurance dimension have a significantly differences with high school status personal characteristics. There is statistically significant differences in the perceptions of empathy dimensions on personal characteristics job tenure while the other personal characteristics doesn’t make any difference. In the tangible dimension, there is statistically different perceptions of internal customers on personal characteristics of respondents profession, but there was no difference for the other personal characteristics in this dimension.

Abstract

Praktik penilaian berbasis komputer dengan aplikasi e-Xam Caraka ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan integritas dan fokus dalam penilaian pembelajaran. Hasil praktik ini menunjukkan bahwa penerapan penilaian berbasis komputer menggunakan aplikasi e-Xam Caraka mampu meningkatkan integritas dan fokus dalam mengerjakan soal ujian. Peningkatan ini berdampak pada peningkatan jumlah peserta didik yang mencapai KKM. Penerapan penilaian berbasis komputer ini dapat digunakan guru dan sekolah sebagai variasi model penilaian pembelajaran yang dapat mendukung pembiasaan-pembiasaan karakter baik dalam rangka program penguatan pendidikan karakter yang sedang digalakkan pemerintah.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk: (1) mendeskripsikan alasan yang menyatakan bahwa metode jigsaw dan team games tournament diorientasikan dapat meningkatkan prestasii belajar dalam pembelajaran sosiologi, dan (2) menjelaskan cara yang diupayakan guru pengampu dalam menerapkan metode jigsaw disertai tournament sedemikian rupa sehingga optimalisasi peningkatan prestasi belajar siswa dapat terbentuk dengan signifikan. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian tindakan kelas dengan pendekatan kuantitatif yang dikualitatifkan. Setting penelitian difokuskan pada kelas XII IPS 2 sebagaimana karakteristik model penelitian tindakan kelas. Subjek penelitian adalah siswa-siswi kelas XII IPS 2 sebanyak 32 anak. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan adalah observasi partisipan, wawancara dan dokumentasi. Pemeriksaan keabsahan data dilakukan dengan triangulasi data yang melibatkan pertimbangan dari kolaboran. Analisis data dilakukan bersamaan waktunya dengan pengumpulan data yang diperoleh dan setelah data diperoleh. Analisis data dilakukan dengan analisis data kuantitatif dengan jumlah dan prersentasi serta kualitatif model interaktif. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa ada peningkatan prestasi siswa yang meliputi: (1) menyerahkan tugas tepat waktu, (2) menyerahkan tugas sesuai dengan petunjuk guru baik dalam ‘kelompok asal’ maupun ‘kelompok ahli’, (3) memiliki kemandirian sekaligus kekompakan dalam mengerjakan tugas, dan (4) melaporkan tugas dengan cara mempresentasikan dan mengikuti teams games tournament. Adanya peningkatan prestasi belajar siswa dapat dilihat dari hasil siklus1 pretes siswa penguasaan materi mencapai 55,35%, sedang post tes penguasaan materi mencapai 80,59%, siklus 2 pretes siswa penguasaan materi mencapai 59,05 %, sedang post tes penguasaan materi mencapai 88,95 %. Tugas kelompok siklus 1 penguasaan materi mencapai 87,75% sedangkan pada siklus 2 tugas kelompok penguasaan materimencapai 100%. Secara deskriptif kualitatif dapat dikatakan prestasi belajar siswa dapat terbentuk secara proporsional dan evolutif atau bertahap.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan prestasi belajar dan keaktifan belajar pada muatan IPA melalui model pembelajaran CLIS (Children’s Learning in Science). Penelitian ini dilaksanakan sebanyak 2 siklus, tiap-tiap siklus terdiri atas 4 tahap yaitu merencanakan tindakan, melaksanakan tindakan, melakukan pengamatan, dan menganalisis dan melaksanakan refleksi. Hasil dari setiap siklus setelah direfleksikan bersama kolaborator digunakan untuk perencanaan disiklus berikutnya. Hasil Penelitian menunjukkan bahwa prestasi belajar paling baik terjadi pada siklus II dengan ditandai prestasi siswa pada kondisi awal nilai rata-rata 57,21, siklus I nilai rata-ratat 74,50 dengan tingkat ketuntasan 50%, dan siklus II dengan berdasarkan hasil refleksi melaksanakan tindakan nilai rata-rata test 82,68 dengan tingkat ketuntasan sebesar 87,50%. Pada siklus II ini upaya yang dilakukan adalah dalam pembelajaran, siswa tidak hanya mengamati gambar saja tetapi siswa melakukan percobaan dan terlibat secara langsung.Sedangkan peningkatan keaktifan siswa pada siklus I pengamatan 84,38% (27 anak), dapat bekerja sama 26 anak (81,25%), mampu mengajukan pertanyaan 11 anak (34,38%), meminta pendapat teman 15 siswa (46,88%) dan mampu mengemukakan pendapat 46,88% (15 anak). Sedangkan pada siklus II, melakukan pengamatan oleh siswa sebanyak 31 anak (96,80%), bekerjasama 30 anak (93,73%), mengajukan pertanyaan 25 anak (78,13%), meminta pendapat 25 anak (78,13%), dan mengemukakan pendapat 26 anak (81,70%). Dengan demikian harapan peneliti tercapai dengan melakukan perbaikan pembelajaran dengan menggunakan model pembelajarn CLIS (Children’s Learning in Science) pada Muatan IPA siswa kelas VA SD Jetis Bantul

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui Peningkatan Minat baca dan Kemampuan Berbahasa Anak Melalui media Kartu Huruf dan Kartu kata di TK PKK Putragiri Semester I Tahun Ajaran 2016/2017. Populasi Penelitian Tindakan Kelas adalah Siswa Kelompok B pada TK PKK Putragiri Semester I Tahun ajaran 2016/2017 .yang berjumlah 25 anak.Penelitian ini terdiri atas dua siklus. Siklus I dilaksanakan pada tanggal 5 sd 8 september 2016. dengan Tema Lingkunganku dan Sub tema Keluargaku.dengan alat peraga Kartu huruf, kartu kata, Buku cerita, LKS, Majalah siswa, gambar dsb. Setelah satu siklus dilaksanakan refleksi untuk merencanakan siklus II yang dilaksanakan dengan tema Binatang dan Sub tema Binatang di sekitar tempat tinggalku (Binatang ternak, Binatang kesayangan). Adapun alat peraga yang digunakan adalah gambar, buku cerita, majalah, LKS, ditambah dengan Praktek langsung melihat binatang yang ada disekitar kita secara langsung Dari hasil pembahasan diketahui bahwa Minat baca dan Kemampuan Membaca awal anak dapat ditingkatkan melalui media kartu huruf dan kartu kata pada anak TK PKK Putragiri Semester I tahun ajaran 2016/2017, dan juga alat peraga yang digunakan dapat menambah pemahaman anak sehingga anak lebih mengerti dan memahamai permainan yang menggunakan media kartu huruf dan kartu kata serta lebih menarik perhatian anak.

Abstract

Penelitian tindakan sekolah ini dilakukan sebagai salah satu upaya meningkatkan prestasi belajar Ekonomi siswa SMA Negeri 1 Sewon. Tindakan dilakukan dengan pembelajaran melalui pendekatan kontekstual dengan metode cooperatif learning. Subyek penelitian adalah siswa kelas XI IPS-1. Hasil pengamatan sebelum dilakukan tindakan menunjukkan: Rerata capaian nilai 31 siswa ada : 77, 87 masih di bawah ketentuan KKM sebesar 80. Ketuntasan klasikal sebesar 80,65 % atau sebanyak 25 siswa dari 31 siswa. Dilihat secara individual masih terdapat sebanyak 19,35 % atau 6 siswa yang belum mencapai KKM. Hasil tindakan direfleksikan antara peneliti dan kolaborator untuk dilakukan evaluasi dan menyusun perencanaan tindakan pada siklus berikutnya. Kegiatan ini dilakukan berulang-ulang sampai hasil refleksi dan evaluasi mencapai hipotesis penelitian terpenuhi. Hipotesis tindakan penelitian: “Prestasi belajar ekonomi siswa dapat ditingkatkan melalui proses belajar mengajar dengan pendekatan kontekstual dengan metode cooperatif learning”. Hipotesis secara kuantitatif; Rerata prestasi belajar siswa: 83,00, Ketuntasan klasikal: 96,77, Siswa belum mencapai KKM turun menjadi 1 orang. Setelah dilakukan tindakan siklus II diperoleh rerata nilai seluruh siswa : 85,32. Ketuntasan klasikal: 96,77 dan siswa belum mencapai KKM ada 1 orang. Maka hipotesis tindakan kedua dan hipotesis penelitian telah dapat dicapai.

Abstract

Firing Line application Research model implemented in SMA Negeri 1 KRETEK aims to improve the learning achievement of students in geography subjects of X4 class. This was a classroom action research (PTK) with research subjects involving the X4 class . The research was conducted in The research used the Kemmis and Taggart’s model. Each cycle consisted of four stages, namely: planning, acting, observation, and reflection. The document were collected through observations, interviews and document reviews, and descriptive quantitative analysis. This research was conducted for two rounds (cycles) and improvements was carried out in learning strategies of individual cycle. Results of observation and tests served as reflection material for the next action plan. Results showed improvement that student achieved through the application of Firing Line model consisting of increase of scores and test scores; students’ test score average in the first cycle was 62.5, then in the second cycle it increased to be 75,57 and the completeness percentage increased from 47,62% into 86.67%. The conclution of this researc is Application of Firing Line Learning Model can to Increase the learning achievement in Geography Subject competence atmosphere and ist impact for life at the X4 Class at SMA N I Kretek
