Abstract

The goal of the research to improve how to write javanese word skill andto improve the student learning activity. The research used jigsaw technique with play card Javanese word and their couple.Action research (PTK) is held in two sickles. As the research subject is the fifith class Elementary school .We use student activity instrument student observation,the data analyze technique the researcher use quantitative Descriptive. The Research result show that the skill how to write Javanese word before researching 0 % The research result after has been holding action research based on KKM at the 1 cycles.The result how to write Javanese word becomes 23,8% ,at sickles II become 57,1 %. So it increases how to write Javanese word .It means there is improvement I sieckles to II cyclesw as big 33,3 % .The result of the student learning activity before researching 0%,after researching becomes 23,8 % .In II sicles 57,1 % .It means there is improvement 33,3 % .So it increases before and after researching.

Abstract

This study aims to find out whether a short experimental activity improve the quality of physics learning process as well as improve the quality of student learning outcomes in SMK 1 Ngawen. The type of this study is classroom action research conducted at class XI TI.B in SMK Negeri 1 Ngawen, from February 2018 until April 2018. Subjects of this study were 32 students, and the study was conducted in two cycles. Data in this study collected by using observation, interview, tests and documentation. Data analysis was done by qualitative descriptive technique and data stated in percentage. The results of this study showed that the short experiment learning model can be done effectively and efficiently as well as able to improve the learning quality, as it was indicated by the high student interest during the learning process, characterized by high student activity both in cycle I and cycle II. Similarly, the cognitive aspect showed the minimum school learning completeness standard as it reached 73% in cycle I and then rose to 81.1% in cycle II, which was categorized as very well completeness standard.

Abstract

This study describes a learning innovations that generally aims to optimize the student skill in writing or producing text of the pantun. Specifically, the aims of this study were (1) to find an interesting appraisal model by applying quiz game, (2) to find the latest assessment model that was not boring, as well as able to made the student more active, enthusiastic, happy and vibrant, (3) to emerge the student’s interest in writing the pantun, which recently miswriting and contravene the requirement of the pantun writing. As writing is considered as one of four most difficult language skills both by students and teachers, this learning innovation is needed to create a learning system or model, as well as an attractive assessment model that promotes student activity. Therefore, "BBM" (Bermain dengan Bintang dan Meteor) quiz becomes a priority to overcome the low ability of writing / producing texts of the pantun among student of class XI SMA Negeri 7 Yogyakarta. This "BBM" quiz was a form of game that offers star and meteor for student (participants/groups) for each time they answering questions. The correct answer gets a star. On the contrary, the false answer gets a meteor. The star score was ten (10) and the meteor score was zero (0). The star or meteor is mounted on the panel board. Stars that form vertical, horizontal, and diagonal patterns on the panel board will get a bonus of 100 perfect values. The star cannot be removed, but the meteor can be removed. Result of this study shows that this learning innovation was able to create a fun and varied learning, the student were more motivated, enthusiastic, and more active in attending the learning. This result is expected to optimize the student’s writing ability, especially in writing of the pantun. Keywords: writing or producing text of the pantun, "BBM" quiz

Abstract

This study aims to determine whether there is a significant difference in understanding the concept and motivation of chemistry learning among students of class XI MIPA SMA Negeri 1 Banguntapan in 2014/2015 academic year that attended the constructivistic approach learning procces with and without the integration of macroscopic dimensions, symbolic dimensions, and submicroscopic dimensions. The initial knowledge of chemistry is statistically controlled. This study was an experimental research with one factor, two sample, and one covariable research design and one factor two sample research design. The population of this study were 128 students of Class XI MIPA SMA Negeri 1 Banguntapan that were divided into 4 classes. The sample in this study were 64 students taken by purposive sampling and divided into two classes, namely experiment class (A1) with 32 samples and control class (A2) with 32 samples. The data obtained in this study were early chemistry knowledge data, early and final chemistry study motivation, and student’s understanding data of chemistry concept. The hypothesis was analyzed with anakova (covariance analysis) and t-test. The results showed that there were no significant differences in understanding the concept and motivation of chemistry learning at class XI MIPA in SMA Negeri 1 Banguntapan that attended the learning procces with constructivistic approach based on the integration of macroscopic dimensions, symbolic dimensions, and dimensions submicroscopic and who follow the learning with constructivist approach without macroscopic dimension integration, symbolic dimensions, and submicroscopic dimensions. The implementation of constructivist approach based on dimension integration in chemistry is not effective in understanding the concept and motivation of chemistry learning in class XI MIPA of SMA Negeri 1 Banguntapan at 2014/2015 academic year.

Abstract

The aim of this study was improving teacher competence in preparing RPP, knowing the right steps in conducting continuous academic supervision, and to measure the precentage of teacher competency improvement in preparing RPP. The study method was done in two cycles that consist four stages of planning, implementation, servation and reflection. Techniques in this study were interviews with teachers and observation of teaching and learning procces conducted by teachers in SD Sindet UPT PPK Jetis Bantul district in academic year of 2017/2018. The result of this study is incnease of teacher ability in learning activity, especially in preparing RPP after they were given a guidance and continuous academic supervision. In initial of the study, the teacher ability in making RPP was ranges from 30% to 60%. After passing through continvous academic supervision until the end of this study, there was a significant increase of teacher ability in preparing RPP that was ranges from 80% to 90%.

Abstract

This study aims to find a way to increase the student achievement in studying chemistry by using mind mapping method in class XII MIPA of SMAN 1 Bambanglipuro. This study was a classroom action research with qualitative descriptive approach. This study conducted in two cycle whith three meetings in each cycle. There were 33 students participated as subject in this study. Each meeting applied the following steps: planning, action, and reflection. The data collecting instruments in this study were questionnaire, observation sheets, field note, attitude scale, and achievement test (daily test). The result of this study indicates that by using mind mapping, the learning process became more effective, the student activity during the learning process also more effective, enjoyable, and joyful. The method has positive effect of increasing the student achievement in chemistry that can be known from: (a) the increase of student activity and students motivation in cycle I and II; (b) the increase of students achievement in cognitive aspect (student learning completeness standard from 77.53% in cycle I and 82.63% in cycle II), and in affective aspect from the level of enough become excellent in the end of the study. Result of the study also supported by the assessment in learning process which was held by the collaborator, from the classification of 50% good to 50% excellent.

Abstract

This study aimed to describe the implementation of the program management which included planning, organizing, actuating, and monitoring the obstacles. This study was a qualitative study conducted at SD Bakulan located in Jetis, Bantul, DIY. The data collection techniques in this study were observation, interview, and documentation. The technique of data analysis applied the interactive analysis model by Miles and Huberman with steps of data collection, data reduction, and data verification or conclusion. Mechanical checks for the validity of the data used an extension of observation, stable observation, and triangulation data. The result of the study showed that the development of the program management was well done. The implementation of the planning program has implemented on the annual work plan, work planning and school budgeting. The school curriculum through the self-development program was integrated into the school activity, in a routine, spontaneous, exemplary, and conditioning teaching and learning activities. The school culture which was arranged by the headmaster in order to maximize all of the school’s potential both of the human resources as well as the infrastructure to achieve the school’s objective. The actuating was done by the teachers, students, the employees integratively and was planned to conduct the program through the socialization to the parents meeting, student enrollment, ceremony, official meeting, and school’s briefing. It was also done through the self- development program integrated to the school’s activity, routine, spontaneous, exemplary, conditioning, teaching and learning activities, and school’s culture. The supervising was done by the headmaster, classroom teacher, sports teachers, and religion teacher. The direct supervision by the headmaster conducted through the routine coordination after the ceremony on Monday and learning supervision. The obstacles that were faced on the implementation of the program was related with the particular situation such as the construction of new building, the advancement of the information technologies, and the lack of book collection in the library for the literacy activity so that several programs that had been planned could not be conducted. Meanwhile, the supporting factors of the program were solidarity, the synergy of the stakeholder, the rural environment, and adequate infrastructure.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the influence of sociodrama group guidance to improve student manners in schools. This study was a classroom action research conducted in 2 (two) cycles. Data collection was used questionnaire and observation sheet. The questionnaire was used to collect data of student manners, while observation was used to collect data of the implementation of group guidance on the sociodrama technique and field notes. The manners measurement of each student was in the form of scores obtained from the questionnaire, the total score was then converted into qualitative data of five scale. The observation results of group guidance and manners measurement were descriptively analyzed. The results of the questionnaires in Cycle I showed score of 8.7 with 5 students showed a very good, good and moderate manners. No students had very low and very low manners. The results of manners questionnaires showed that from 10 indicators, there were 5 indicators that meet the success criteria, the value was shown 80% and more. While 5 indicators are still below the limits of the predetermined success criteria. In the Cycle II there were improvements. There were 11 students (61.11%) who had very good manners, and 7 students (38.89%) had high manners. No students had moderate, low and very low manners. After implementation the group guidance of sociodrama at cycle II, all indicators have reached above the minimum success criteria of 80%. The results of this study showed that providing the group guidance of sociodrama techniques may improve student manners.

Abstract

This study is aimed at finding out: (1) the influence of physical fitness on physical education learning achievement of the upper grade students of SDN I Donotirto Kretek Bantul in the academic year of 2015/2016, (2) the influence of social interaction on physical education learning achievement of the upper grade students of SDN I Donotirto Kretek Bantul in the academic year of 2015/2016, and (3) the influence of physical fitness and social interaction (simultaneously) on physical education learning achievement of the upper grade students of SDN I Donotirto Kretek Bantul in the academic year of 2015/2016. This study was applied quantitative approach/method by using ex-post facto data. The subjects of this study were eighty students of the upper grade (grade IV – VI) of SDN I Donotirto Kretek Bantul Yogyakarta. The data were collected through physical education test for 10 – 12 years old students, questionnaires and documentations. The study used descriptive analytic and double regression calculation to analyze the data. The result of the descriptive analytic calculation shows that majority of the students (57.5%) were classified as deficient on physical fitness variable and 82.5% of the students were categorized as good/excellent on social interaction. The result of the regression calculation on physical fitness shows , tquantification = 9.067 with (significant). While the calculation result on students social interaction shows , tquantification = 3.7952 with (significant). The calculation results also show the determination coefficient R = 0.580, Fquantification = 50.076 with (significant). Based on the results in this study, it can be concluded that the students physical fitness and social interaction (partially or simultaneously) influence the physical education learning achievement of the upper grade students of SDN I Donotirto Kretek Bantul in the academic year of 2015/2016. The more active students on social interaction and the fitter the students’ body, the higher the learning achievement will be.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to increase the motivation of chemistry learning with the application of Problem Based Learning model, so it can improve the student’s achievement in chemistry. This study is a classroom action research with subjects of class XI IPA 8 students at SMA N 1 Bantul in the first semester of 2016/2017 academic year. The subject were 34 students that consists of 14 boys and 20 girls. The data collection was done by using daily journal observation sheets, student questionnaire, interviews, documentation and testing. Descriptive data were analyzed qualitatively through severel stages of data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion. The results of the study is that model Problem Based learning can improve motivation and learning achievement at equilibrum chemical concept. To Increase The Result of Student’s Learning Equilibrum Chemical Concept Via PBL’s Learning Model (Problem Based learning) the average of the student study result in the first cycle is 77,70, the second is 86,90. The second cycle showed 94.11% met the criteria studied thoroughly with the value of more than or equal to 75 of more than 85%. In conclusion, the use of model Problem Based Learning can improve motivation and learning achievements of learners and teachers can develop and implement the model of learning in the classroom.
