Journal of Islamic Economics and Finance Studies (JIEFeS) is a peer-reviewed journal published twice a year, in June and December by the Faculty of Economics and Business, Universitas Pembangunan Nasional Veteran Jakarta, Indonesia. The journal accepts scientific articles in the form of research results and theoretical or conceptual papers, written in standard Indonesian or English. JIEFeS particularly focuses on the main issues and studies in Islamic Economics and Finance areas. It covers Islamic Economics, Islamic Banking and Finance, Islamic Microfinance, Islamic Philanthropy (Zakah and Waqf), and Halal Economy.

Abstract

This research is a quantitative study to determine the effect of inflation, BI interest rates, capital influences and problematic financing on financing at Islamic banks. The dependent variable in this study is financing. While the independent variables in this study are inflation, BI interest rates, capital, and problem financing. The population of this study is Sharia Commercial Banks registered with the Financial Services Authority, which amounts to 14 Banks. The sample selection uses non probability sampling. The data used are secondary data with panel data analysis method using e-views 10. The sample used was 14 Sharia Bank for the period of 2016-2018. The results of panel data regression with a significance level of 0.05 indicate that inflation, BI interest rates, and problematic financing have no effect on financing, and capital influences has effect on financing.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the most dominant factors affecting the cooperative preference in the conversion into a cooperative sharia. The research method using the quantitative approach to the technique of factor anaysis. The results indicate that regulatory support, promotion and profit sharing rate is the most dominant factor or a major factor for the preference of cooperative in the conversion into a cooperative sharia. Meanwhile religion, information, and image is a supporting factor for the preference of cooperatives in the conversion into a cooperative sharia.

Abstract

Penulisan paper ini bertujuan untuk memaparkan optimalisasi peran dan fungsi dari UPZ berbasis kampus dalam rangka memberdayakan masyarakat. Seperti yang kita ketahui, Indonesia adalah negara dengan jumlah penduduk muslim terbesar di dunia. Jumlah penduduk muslim yang sangat besar ini menggambarkan besarnya potensi ZIS yang dapat diperoleh. Selain itu, pesatnya perkembangan pengelolaan ZIS di Indonesia menjadikan potensi ZIS yang besar ini dapat digunakan untuk memberdayakan masyarakat. Optimalisasi peran UPZ berbasis kampus dalam rangka pemberdayaan masyarakat ini juga sejalan dengan salah satu Tri Dharma Perguruan Tinggi, yakni pengabdian masyarakat. Sivitas akademika kampus menjadi agen yang tepat untuk melakukan pemberdayaan masyarakat. Pemberdayaan masyarakat penting dilakukan dalam rangka mengantisipasi penurunan kesejahteraan akibat terjadinya resesi ekonomi. Selain itu, sivitas akademika sebagai kelompok masyarakat yang paling melek akan perkembangan teknologi dapat membantu mengoptimalisasikan peran UPZ ini agar semakin berkembang karena didukung oleh sumber daya yang ahli di bidangnya. Paper ini dibuat dengan metode kajian pustaka. Data yang digunakan dalam paper ini merupakan data sekunder. Kesimpulan yang diperoleh adalah UPZ berbasis kampus memiliki peran yang sangat strategis dalam memberdayakan masyarakat sehingga bisa mewujudkan masyarakat yang produktif sebagai salah satu upaya mencegah terjadinya resesi ekonomi.

Abstract

Islamic branding as an attraction for consumers to buy. Muslim consumers are required to be selective in choosing products to consume. Halal label on product packaging does not necessarily guarantee the halal product. Some people do not see the product ingredients in buying consumer products tend to follow the Trand and the properties obtained from these products. This study aims to determine the effect of Islamic Branding and Product Ingredients Against Interest in Buying HNI-HPAI Products in Bengkulu City, the population that is the object of this research is the Consumer of HNI-HPAI Products at Al-Fatih Business Center II HPAI Bengkulu City, The samples used are as many as 94 people were sampled in this study, using the accidental sampling method. The analytical method used in this study is the multiple regression analysis method with the application of SPSS16. The results of the research are based on partial hypothesis testing (t test) showing that the Islamic Branding and Product Ingredients variables significantly influence buying interest. The results of the F test Islamic branding and product ingredients together have a positive and significant effect on buying interest. This can be seen in the calculated F value of 70.676 and a significant value of 0.000 <0.05. Determination Coefficient Test Results (R2) obtained Rsquer of 0.608. This shows that the dependent variable of buying interest can be explained by the Islamic Branding and Product Independent variables at 60.8% while 39.2% is explained by other factors outside the studied variables.

Abstract

Islam adalah sistem hidup yang lengkap, universal dan dinamis dalam mengatur kehidupan manusia, termasuk kaidah Islam dalam mengatur tentang harga dan mekanisme pasar. Ketentuan harga itu diserahkan kepada mekanisme pasar yang alamiah. Sistem Islam menolak menetapkan harga oleh penguasa, karena Allah-lah yang menentukannya. Harga yang terbentuk harus sesuai dengan kekuatan penawaran (suplay) dan permintaan (demand) pasar. Olehnya itu harga barang tidak boleh ditetapkan oleh pemerintah, karena ketentuan harga tergantung pada hukum supply and demand. Sistem Islam sangat mendorong harga yang adil dengan mendorong persaingan pasar yang sempurna. Untuk memenuhi harga yang adil perlu adanya moralitas (fair play), kejujuran (honesty), keterbukaan (transparancy) dan keadilan (justice) serta menghindari segala macam bentuk spekulasi. Jika nilai-nilai ini ditegakkan, maka tidak ada alasan untuk menolak harga pasar. Sistem ekonomi Islam masih memberikan peluang pada kondisi tertentu untuk melalukan intervensi harga (price intervention) oleh pemerintah bila terjadi distorsi pasar, baik yang disebabkan oleh faktor alamiah maupun perilaku menyimpang dari pelaku pasar.

Abstract

Fiqh muamalah is a rule or procedure that can be used as a guide for humans to communicate with each other through cooperation using Islamic legal guidelines. One of them is the Ijarah method or lease. Meeting the needs of babies is one of the top priorities in the family. One of them is fulfilling the needs of baby equipment which aims to make it easier for parents to care for their children. Besides that, it is also for comfort and helps the development of children. However, the high price and the limited use period along with the development of the baby are the factors inhibiting the fulfillment of these needs. One way to meet these needs is by renting. The baby equipment rental business is one of the most open business opportunities and is needed by the community. One of these business actors is the Baby Farra Rental baby equipment rental. Although the rental system carried out at Baby Farra rental still uses conventional methods. Business owners, employees and consumers of Baby Farra Rental also do not know about what the Ijarah Agreement is, but in the implementation of the lease it is in accordance with the principles and conditions of the ijarah including starting from Aqil or the person who leases the lease, sighat contract or consent qabul, ujroh or fee rent and the benefits of the ijarah itself. The existence of a baby equipment rental business is very beneficial financially for the community, especially families who have babies who have economic limitations.
