Abstract

Family Medicinal Plants (TOGA) are plants that are used to describe maintenance and cultivation reports that are used as treatment. The training was carried out in Karya Maju A1 Village, which is a village in Keluang District, Musi Banyuasin Regency, whose main livelihoods are gardening and farming. TOGA is a herbal plant for medicines, for example, lime, turmeric, betel, brotowali and others. other. Therefore, holding training on how to plant family medicinal plants (TOGA), carried out and directed by Students of the PGRI Palembang University Real Work Lecture (KKN) to improve the skills and creativity of the Karya Maju A1 village community, Members of the Women Farmers Group (KWT), members (PKK). The method used is how to cultivate family medicinal plants using lecture, discussion, and question and answer methods. The aim of this training is to find out how the Training on How to Grow Medicinal Plants in the Family (TOGA) is carried out.

Abstract

BUMDes Rancang Jaya has several activities such as a cafe business unit, village water management business unit, agricultural product management business unit, handicraft and industrial business unit. On agricultural land, there are several obstacles, one of which is the lack of resources to manage agricultural land. Automating plantation irrigation activities can change the paradigm from a manual and static system to a more dynamic system that leads to increased water use efficiency and leads to higher production yields. Application of solar panel-based PETIS Technology applications to increase the efficiency and effectiveness of farmers in managing their crops. Especially in surface water utilization systems as irrigation water and in the consistency of giving water to plants because PETIS Technology uses the RTC system, which is automatic watering based on the desired time based on solar panels. The method used is advocacy. Starting with conducting surveys and observations to analyze partner problems, assembling and testing tools, installing tools, and providing community assistance. Solar panel-based PETIS technology can be utilized for an automatic watering system on agricultural land in Sinarancang Village, which has a high level of efficiency because the electricity comes from solar panels that are free of charge.

Abstract

The purpose of this service activity is to provide motivation with the aim of relying on boring, tedious, and frightening learning methods through the total use of internet-based learning media. The technique of enforcing network provider is withinside the shape of Work Shop Guidance and Counseling on Learning Media Innovations for Teachers on the Telukjambe Karawang Commissariat. The topics of the provider had been the lecturers of the Public and Private Middle Schools of the Telukjambe Commissariat, Karawang Regency. The provider tool used is a questionnaire approximately motivation in enforcing using net media as an innovation in gaining knowledge of. Abstract

Malaria remains a public health problem in Indonesia, particularly Papua. Various efforts have been made to reduce cases, one of which is the formation of malaria control units in villages. The purpose of this non-commercial service is to improve your knowledge and skills in using health promotion media in the form of Papua Malaria Flipchart. Methods used strengthen village malaria cadres by expanding their knowledge on malaria, training them on the use of the Papua Malaria Flipchart health promotion media, and advising communities through village malaria cadres. That was it. The target group for community service is 12 village malaria cadres and her 3 malaria representatives. This activity was conducted in the East Sentani District, the working area of ​​the Harapan Health Center. Evaluation of this non-profit activity is pre- and post-testing of educational materials and community interviews in consultation with village malaria cadres. An indicator of the success of this activity was the increased knowledge and skills of village malaria cadres who used the Papua Emic Malaria Flipchart media to provide counseling. The results of this service show that the village malaria cadres improved their knowledge of malaria and their skills in using the Papua Malaria Flipchart during counseling. It was concluded that the results of the service increased the malaria knowledge and skills of malaria workers and the use of the Papua Malaria Flipchart.

Abstract

The SDGs pay particular attention to climate change. One of them is SDG 13, which aims to take immediate action to combat climate change and its impacts. Higher education is the premier educational institution that plays a vital role in a sustainable future. In order to maintain environmental sustainability, universities dealing with the environment need human resources. Student associations or unions are effective forums for promoting environmental awareness among individual members. This non-profit service aims to provide education on environmentally responsible behavior for sustainable living. The activity was held from 8th to 10th October 2022 at Campus 2 of Respati University Yogyakarta. The participants of this training were members of the student association of Respati University Yogyakarta, and 26 people participated. Educational activities carried out as part of this activity include the presentation of materials on environmental protection, brainstorming on environmental protection actions, focus group discussions on environmental protection work programs, and environmental protection as a form of support for the Green Campus of Respati University Yogyakarta. Contains a statement of protection. The activity was well received by the participants as 12 of the 16 student groups in the study program participated and all participants attended the two-day activity. Students' environmental care behavior is influenced by several indicators. One of them is student involvement in home, college, and character/lifestyle shaping. Universities must play a role in fostering a greener attitude in the academic community through infrastructure, governance, campus activities, research and curricula.

Abstract

The Women Entrepreneurs Community is one of the groups of women who become lumberjacks in the Special Region of Yogyakarta. Some are housewives and some are working mothers. Since the 2020 pandemic, many activities have to be done almost entirely online from home. In relation to these situations, women also need to keep up with developments in information technology in order to be able to keep up with the latest developments in the current situation. All these mothers, especially those over the age of 40, have a good knowledge of existing programs on mobile phones and laptops, especially the Zoom application, and are able to attend widely available seminars and online training courses. It does not mean—self quality. The recovery to the new normal is still underway, but so far there are many online activities that require the use of the Zoom application. It is essential to know more about the use of information technology, such as the use of the Zoom application at home. As a result of this activity, mothers in the community are becoming more knowledgeable about information technology in their self-development activities.

Abstract

A village-owned enterprise is a local business institution managed by the village government and has a legal entity. The impact of Covid-19, which appeared some time ago, has destabilized the economy of the village. As a result, almost all business units will be unable to operate. Insufficient awareness of business opportunities using social media, etc. Based on the priority challenges faced by our partners, the first solution offered is a socialization program that creates business opportunities and rebrands the company to make it more attractive. Based on observations of customers from different industries in Kalisat Village. Problems encountered in village businesses include the lack of development and exploitation of various existing business opportunities, the need to support existing human resources to improve the business, and marketing to make it attractive and innovative. There is such a thing as rebranding as an aid. Observation/Interview Socialization/Discussion The potential of the environment is introduced in an easy-to-understand manner using videos, and examples of business opportunities are introduced. We provide knowledge and understanding reading opportunities training for small businesses and creative industries on how to make the most of information technology as part of their business development to compete globally. Companies that need further development can proceed to the rebranding process. Based on the issues faced by partners, a socialization program is implemented as a learning proposition for his MSME actors to show them how to seize the opportunities around them and improve the quality of their products or brand. The socialization and counseling process can be carried out over several sessions to allow people to consistently develop their potential and environment.

Abstract

People tend to use Internet features to respond to social media or update their opinions without considering the consequences of the opinions expressed. Issues identified include low public awareness, checking the truth and authenticity of news, and being more careful when sharing content on social media and browsing the internet. A fundamental contribution to the target audience in implementing community services is building a system for identifying black campaign messages. News analysis, which falls under Black campaign, is performed interactively through a process of reduction, data viewing, and validation. The system is systematically developed through the phases of system analysis (analyst), system construction (construction), coding (coding), system test (test), and system maintenance (maintenance). After the SIHox application was socialized and simulated, it was found that it took Beringin Police a very short time to identify online messages containing black campaigns. The system simulation success rate was 87% and the service implementation team had a performance score of 90.

Abstract

HIV, or Human Immunodeficiency Virus, is a virus that damages the cells of the immune system that protect the body from disease. Therefore, when damage reduces the number of these cells, the body becomes more susceptible to infections and other illnesses. An HIV test is a test that detects HIV infection in a person's body. This time, a team from Sari Mutiara University in Indonesia created an application covering HIV/AIDS, 'Muara Medan Plus'. B. What is HIV, signs, and symptoms, how it is transmitted, what complications, and what to do if you are exposed or infected with HIV? The methods used in this article are qualitative. This application uses several theories to explain HIV and HIV rapid tests. After explaining about HIV and rapid tests and application, we explained the importance of HIV tests to the participants/community to learn more about HIV, download and use the application "Mutiara Medan Plus" and understand.

Abstract

The implementation of the independent entrepreneur program is based on the increasing unemployment rate in Indonesia so that the government makes a breakthrough through the independent entrepreneur program with the aim of (a) Providing education to students about the Independent Entrepreneur program, (b) Implementation of the process of Independent Entrepreneur activities, (d) Analysis of the output planning of Independent Entrepreneurs towards society, (e) Development of an entrepreneur-oriented mindset of students. The method used is a combination of leaning by doing and training to produce a marketable product. A total of 5 students accompanied by 1 Field Supervisor (DPL) and 1 Mentor from UMKM. With the independent entrepreneur program, it can produce students who have an entrepreneurial mentality and increase motivation for interest in entrepreneurship.
