Abstract

In this paper, we try to explain how to formulate the derivation of the Naive Bayes concept and apply it to a simple case. This is because usually users only use existing formulas or tools that are already available in a programming language regardless of where the formulas are implemented in the available tools come from. To familiarize users with understanding the state of art rather than a formulation, in this study we try to combine the concept and application of the Naive Bayes model formulation. Starting with the elaboration of the concept of derivation of the Naive Bayes formula, then we take a case study to begin to provide an overview of the implementation of the formula. In this study, we apply Naive Bayes to predict learning outcomes before ending at the end of the semester. The dataset was constructed using daily scores from student activity and quizzes. The calculation of this algorithm is enough to use the R language with case sampling in 4 classes of language theory and automata even semester 2017-2018 at the Department of Informatics Engineering, Faculty of Engineering, University of Muhammadiyah Ponorogo with a dataset size of 99 records (99 students) which are divided into 70 records for training data and the rest for test data. The final result is that the prediction accuracy is 78.6%, with the conclusion that the use of the Naive Bayes concept is good enough to be used to predict in helping

Abstract

Augmented reality (AR) is a technology that virtualizes 2-dimensional (2D) image objects to produce 3-dimensional (3D) objects in real time on a monitor or smartphone screen. AR in order to display a 3-dimensional object requires a marker. Markers are generally in the form of images or images. In AR that has been made the application can detect the marker. AR implementation can now be found in various fields, one of which is the field of education for learning, especially for children. In this study, AR was developed to be applied as a learning medium by introducing the behavior, characteristics or features of animals viewed through devices such as smartphones or tabs. The types of animals used in the experiment were land, water, and air animals so that the children could imagine the shape of the animal in 3 dimensions and gain knowledge about the characteristics of the animal through the description of the sound of the animal. The markers that will be detected by the system are cartoon images of animals that match their 3-dimensional shape, so that application users can enjoy learning. This application was built using Unity 3D with the development stages using the waterfall model. The result is that besides being able to display 3-dimensional visuals, it can also display videos like videos that are equipped with sounds that show the characteristics or features of the animal.

Abstract

Nowadays, the utilization of Information Technology has become the breadwinner or the main power in supporting the business processes of an organization, including educational organizations. The information technology utilization in the education sector, especially at Private Vocational High School (SMK) Al-Hikmah Tarogong Kaler, has not fully followed the current development where the application used in supporting the current activities has not been integrated between one field and another. This case provides the impact on the ineffectiveness of data redundancy because of the difficulty in accessing data and information between fields. Moreover, the use of unplanned systems in the master plan of system development (blueprint) can cause vulnerability to system disassembly which can also be caused by differences in data structure and system platform. The purpose of this study is to design the school's information system enterprise architecture. Besides, this research also aimed to create an enterprise system blueprint for Al-Hikmah Vocational High School. The method used in this study is The Open Group Architecture Framework Architecture Development Method (TOGAF ADM) and it is restricted only into the Migration Planning phase, and the budget for development is not discussed. The study reveals that the information systems and technology blueprints are compiled into the list of system needs and the needs in the form of application candidates for each business process are arranged based on priority needs

Abstract

Spices are one of the raw materials needed for basic ingredients for food, beverages and medicines, of which the State of Indonesia is one of the spice producers who is ranked first in the world. Spices can be found in Traditional Markets and Modern Markets, however, there has been a drastic decline in spice buyers in Traditional Markets during the current Covid-19 pandemic. This has an impact on one of the traditional markets in the city of Palembang, namely "Pasar Km 5" so that it affects the income or economy of spice sellers. Therefore, in this research, a solution is designed that can be used to solve problems that occur by utilizing digital media that can be operated online. By using the Rapid Application Development (RAD) method, the researcher applies the MIT App Inventor to the android application development process which aims to introduce types of spices and as a marketing medium for spices. The RAD method has several stages, namely Requirements Planning, User Design (Prototype, Test, Refine), Construction and Cutover. This android application will be applied to the "Km 5 Market" to test its usefulness to suit the purpose of being a solution to the problem of spice sellers. After that, this android application will be used for several other traditional markets in Indonesia so that this android application is can named "Go Rempah" which will be a source of information and marketing of spices originating from Indonesia.

Abstract

Cengklik Reservoir is one of the tourism places in Ngemplak, Boyolali Regency, Central Java. This strategic location does not only attract the tourists to visit but is also used by farmers as a source of irrigation for their rice fields. The use of farmland around the Cengklik Reservoir as agricultural land can reduce the problem of drought which has been rarely encountered by farmers. However, another problem arises when the water in the reservoir overflows due to the increased rainfall. This can result in potential damage to paddy fields and might cause crop failure. This study aims to develop the Agraria, an Android-based Decision Support System (DSS) to inform an appropriate period of time for farmers to cultivate crops so that can reduce the risk of crop failures. The system was developed by applying the Mamdani Fuzzy Logic method to process the data taken from public data on weather forecasts of the Meteorology, Climatology and Geophysics Agency (BMKG). The results of the study show that the Android-based decision support system has been successfully developed. The accuracy test was carried out 10 times with an average value of 98.85%. This indicates that the system can be used to help farmers determine the appropriate time for planting so as to avoid the crop failure in the future.

Abstract

The aim of this research is to study the use of computational geometry analysis technique in detail to design a parallel computation to determine determinant and inverse of a matrice using Gauss-Jordan method. In comparing with dependence graph technique, it is well known that computational geometry analysis gives us an easier way in determining determinant and inverse of a matrice, moreover for handling a computation domain with dimension of higher than 3. The type of scheduling function used in this research is of linear type. Some important facts are discovered in this research, the most important one is, this technique gives us the ease in arranging data scheduling scheme based on the observation of the computation domain. The other important fact is, it is also give us the ease to understand the scheme of the data scheduling since this technique can be collaborated with dependence graph technique for visualizing the data scheduling

Abstract

Goats are livestock that provides many benefits for humans such as meat, milk, and skin. Goat meat is now also one of the important foodstuffs in meeting people's nutrition and is widely marketed. Livestock health is the most important factor in the cultivation of goats, therefore the presence of diseases in goats can result in economic losses because it can reduce livestock productivity and can even cause death in goats. However, most of the goat breeders still lack knowledge of disease control in goats plus the ratio of the number of experts is not balanced with the number of breeders which causes limited service facilities for a consultation so that it is increasingly difficult for breeders to identify the type of disease early on and the solutions that will be carried out next. To overcome this problem, an expert system was built that can assist farmers in diagnosing diseases in goats. This study uses the certainty factor method in solving problems that exist in goats. The data used in this study consisted of 8 disease data and 30 symptom data caused by bacteria, viruses and parasites. Each symptom has a CF value given by experts, namely veterinarians. So that a 90% percentage of the level of conformity for the system's accuracy level is obtained based on the results of expert and system validation.

Abstract

Plants affected by pests will be more damaged if not treated early. Therefore, the farmer's diagnostic ability is needed for treatment as early as possible. For the needs of serious cases, the ability of experts is still expected. However, experts from the local Agriculture Service are not always available to assist in the diagnosis. So that the diagnosis can not be done as early as possible. One solution is to design an expert system for the early diagnosis of damage to lowland rice plants. The method used to solve is Depth First Search (DFS). The diagnosis process is done by answering questions about symptoms. Every question given by the system is the result of in-depth inference using the Depth First Search (DFS) method. The system can provide preventive or handling actions according to the results of the discovery of disturbing pests by the system. This expert system can diagnose symptoms of damage quickly, update knowledge according to the needs of experts.
