Abstract

The problem raised in this study is how to analyze the application of the Picture and Picture model in increasing the active learning of students in science subjects in class V at SDN Masimbu. This research is a qualitative research with descriptive type. The research location is at SDN Masimbu, the data sources are obtained from primary data and secondary data. The data collection used is observation, interviews, and documentation. The data analysis techniques used are data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawing/data verification. The results showed that SDN Masimbu has implemented several learning models to help the continuity of learning, one of which is the Picture and Picture learning model. The application of the Picture and Picture model is carried out according to indicators and learning steps by presenting learning materials using pictures given to groups of students to conduct discussions and present the results of their discussions. The results of the analysis show that the application of the Picture and Picture model with several steps of the learning model used has been carried out well. The learning activity of students is increasing and students are becoming more active in the learning process, although with some obstacles experienced by the teacher in the process of implementing it, the teacher can overcome these obstacles well.

Abstract

Mathematical problem-solving ability is one of the standard processes in learning mathematics, but mathematical communication skills in Indonesia are still low. The biggest cause is the difficulties experienced by students in solving problem-solving problems and when translating everyday life problems into mathematical models. This research was structured referring to the purpose of conducting a literature review regarding aspects that are considered to correlate in determining students' mathematical communication skills. The research method used is the Systematic Literature Review which collects data by documenting and reviewing all relevant research articles related to communication skills in terms of various aspects, especially related to story questions published in the 2015-2021 period. The articles used in this study were 11 journals obtained from the Google Scholar database. Based on this study, it was found that mathematical communication skills have a good correlation in terms of gender, personality type, cognitive style, IQ, dominant brain, learning style, conceptual ability, and the suitability of the learning model used

Abstract

Low learning outcomes are a manifestation of various problems that arise from learning activities. Low learning outcomes in science subjects are indicated by results that are below the Minimum Completeness Criteria (KKM). Based on the results of observations, the method used is in the form of lectures, discussions and practicals, but the results are not optimal. Students tend to be passive, only a few are actively participating in learning. Based on these problems, the author made efforts to improve the science learning outcomes of the fifth grade students of SDN Inpres Dalaka for the 2020/2021 academic year by applying the TGT learning model. This research is a quasi-experimental research. The purpose of this research is to improve learning outcomes in science subjects. Based on the results of the analysis, it was found that learning science by applying the TGT method could improve science learning outcomes. This is indicated by the difference in pretest and posttest scores. Where the posttest results are higher than the pretest results. This increase is an implication of increasing student learning activities. Students feel more enthusiastic about participating in learning.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the increase in science learning outcomes on waste material in Class X AKL SMKN 1 Banawa by applying the Everyone is a Teacher Here strategy in the learning process. This research is a Classroom Action Research using a qualitative descriptive research approach that aims to improve science learning outcomes on waste material in class X AKL SMKN 1 Banawa in the even semester of the 2019/2020 academic year with 12 students as research subjects. Based on the research, it was found that the use of the Active Learning Strategy of Everyone is Teacher Here can increase the activity and results of the waste material science of X AKL students at SMKN 1 Banawa, Donggala district. The active learning strategy of Everyone is Teacher Here has an effect on the following matters. Abstract

This study aims to describe the implementation of HOTS on students' critical thinking skills in learning. The method used is Systematic Literature Review with the PRISMA Model which consists of identification, screening, feasibility, and inclusion steps. Literature collection was carried out through the Google Scholar database and National Library within the 2020-2022 period to obtain 190 pieces of literature. After selection, 20 pieces of literature were analyzed using the Miles & Huberman interactive model consisting of information collection, reduction, data presentation, and conclusions. Thematic analysis is also used to answer predefined review questions. The findings show that the implementation of HOTS in learning is influential, positively correlated, efficient, and able to improve students' critical thinking skills. Not only that, the level of students' mathematical abilities in solving HOTS problems affects their critical thinking skills. There is also the implementation of HOTS that can be applied through instruments, teaching materials, assessments, or learning models. However, the challenges faced in the implementation of HOTS can be in the form of 1) low mathematical ability, 2) students who are not accustomed to working on HOTS questions, 3) interpretation in reviewing information is still low, 4) does not master the topic or material, and 5) less careful

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of self-regulated learning on science learning outcomes for class VIII SMPN 1 Palu students during the online learning period. This study is a quantitative study using a cross-sectional survey design. The sample in this study amounted to 181 class VIII students of SMP Negeri 1 Palu in the 2020/2021 school year. Data collection was carried out using instruments in a self-regulated learning scale questionnaire and student learning outcomes tests. The data analysis technique used in this study was regression analysis. The results showed that there was a significant influence of self-regulated learning on the science learning outcomes of class VIII SMPN 1 Palu students during the online learning period

Abstract

This research aims to determine effect of audiovisual media in improving student learning outcomes in science learning at SDN 3 Ampana City, Tojo Una-una Regency on theme 9 "Exploring Outer Space". This research is descriptive quantitative with with one group pretest-posttest design. The research sample was 27 students of class VI. Data collection was carried out through written test using multiple choice question. The results of the research indicate the influence of audiovisual media in improving student learning outcomes. This is evidenced by the average results of the pretest of 38.52 and the posttest of 73.70. This result is higher than the KKM 70. Runs test in the posttest obtained a value of 0.101 with a significance level of 5% (0.05), which means that H0 is rejected and H1 is accepted.

Abstract

This study aims to explain the online learning activities of students at SMA Negeri 1 Bahodopi during the Covid-19 pandemic. This type of research is descriptive research. The population of this study were students of class X, XI and XII MIPA at SMA Negeri 1 Bahodopi. The sample in this study amounted to 66 students who were determined by the quota sampling technique. Data collection techniques using a questionnaire. The results of online system learning activitiesStudents during the Covid-19 pandemic were seen from 7 indicators, namely 1) visual activities obtained a percentage of 61.03%. 2) oral activities obtained a percentage of 66.8%. 3) listening activities obtained a percentage of 72.03%. 4) writing activities get a percentage of 70.15%. 5) drawing activities obtained a percentage of 76.05%. 6) mental activities obtained a percentage of 63, 03%. 7) emotional activities get a percentage of 75.06%. From this research it can be concluded that of the 7 indicators have enough categories with an average percentage of 69.16%.

Abstract

Kehadiran inovasi pembelajaran sangat diperlukan agar pembelajaran lebih menyenangkan sebab kita berada pada era disrupsi yang menekankan inovasi-inovasi dan kreatifitas baru. Satu diantaranya dengan mengaitkan budaya lokal dalam pembelajaran. Ethnomathscience merupakan kolaborasi antara etnomatematika dan etnosains, sehingga budaya lokal diintegrasikan secara sinergis. Konsep matematika dan sains kadang muncul secara alamiah melalui budaya masyarakat tertentu, pengetahuan dan pandangan suku, kelompok masyarakat atau individu tertentu. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk 1) mendeskripsikan konsep-konsep matematika dan sains yang terdapat pada motif batik Bomba, 2) memberikan pemahaman tentang etnomathscience, 3) memberikan keterampilan bagi guru dalam menganalisis materi ajar yang dapat diintegrasikan dengan budaya lokal kota Palu. Dalam penelitian ini, peneliti menggunakan penelitian kualitatif dengan pendekatan etnografi. Instrumen dalam penelitian ini adalah human instrument, data dikumpulkan melalui wawancara, observasi, dokumentasi, dan pengumpulan data pustaka. Teknik analisis data dilakukan dengan reduksi data, penyajian, analisis serta pemaparan data. Hasil penelitian ini berupa konsep-konsep matematika dan sains yang terdapat pada motif batik Bomba seperti garis lurus, garis lengkung, garis sejajar, titik, sudut, persegi panjang, segitiga, lingkaran, jajargenjang dan konsep kesebangunan. Serta konsep sains yang terdapat pada batik Bomba adalah upaya pelestarian sumber daya alam. Konsep matematika dan sains yang terdapat motif batik Bomba tersebut dapat dimanfaatkan untuk memperkenalkan dan memahami konsep matematika dan IPA melalui budaya lokal.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendiskripsikan kesalahan-kesalahan yang dilakukan mahasiswa dalam menyelesaikan soal fisika pada materi Fluida Dinamis. Penelitian dilakukan di UIN Datokarama Palu. Subjek pada penelitian ini adalah mahasiswa Jurusan PGMI FTIK smester 4 kelas PGMI 1 tahun ajaran 2022/2023 yang terdiri dari 6 orang mahasiswa yang dipilih dari 27 orang mahasiswa yang telah mengerjakan soal diagnostic. Enam orang tersebut terdiri dari dua orang dengan kemampuan fisika baik, dua orang dengan kemampuan fisika sedang, dan dua orang dengan kemampuan fisika rendah. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif deskriptif dengan melakukan tes dan wawancara untuk mengumpulkan data. Analisis dilakukan dengan menggunakan empat kesalahan yang dikembangkan oleh Brodie. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian ditemukan bahwa subjek penelitian melakukan kesalahan appropriate error dan partsial insight.
