Abstract

Seeing the current state of society, they rarely pay attention to diseases of their pets/livestock and how to handle them. Livestock disease can be caused by many things, such as poor housing management, attacks by infectious agents, viruses, bacteria, parasites, fungi. Even today, disease in cattle is found to be caused by prions, which are a type of protein molecule that has changed its configuration. Not to mention the cattle breeders were shocked by Foot and Mouth Disease (FMD), which spreads very quickly. FMD virus enters the animal's body through the mouth or nose and the virus multiplies in the epithelial cells in the nasopharynx. The FMD virus then enters the blood and multiplies in the lymph glands and epithelial cells in the mouth and feet (scratches on the feet) resulting in sores/blisters. Technological developments demand that all problems must be resolved quickly and precisely. So researchers are trying to overcome this problem by creating an expert system application to identify diseases in cattle. The discussion in this study contained 18 cow symptoms and concluded 6 cow diseases. In general, the goals and benefits to be achieved in this research are to make it easier for all of us and more specifically for the community to identify diseases in cattle and how to treat them.

Abstract

Qasir is an Android-based Point-Of-Sale (POS) application that can be accessed for free on the Google Playstore. With so many POS applications available, users will be more selective in choosing the application to use. One aspect that can influence the decision to choose an application is the opinion on the application. Opinion is information obtained after using the application that can contain criticism or suggestions. So based on this the user can conclude how other users use the application. Besides being useful for users, opinions if processed properly will produce information that can be used for evaluation for the development team. To analyze and find relationships between owned data, you can use Data Mining. This research will use the Support Vector Machine and Random Forest methods, but each method has its advantages and disadvantages so that the accuracy of the two methods will be compared. The results obtained are that the Support Vector Machine has the highest accuracy value with 80.63% while the Random Forest is 80.21%.

Abstract

Lecturers are professional educators and scientists with the main task of teaching, transforming, developing and disseminating science, technology, and art (IPTEKS) through teaching, research and community service. The position of lecturers as professionals serves to increase the dignity of lecturers and develop science and technology to improve the quality of national education. The goal is to implement the national education system and realize the goals of national education. The head of the study program and the dean in determining the lecturers for the courses are still done manually based on the competence of each lecturer and looking at the previous semester's teacher decisions. In this method of determination, of course, the results obtained are still not optimal because there are still some lecturers who do not match the competencies/qualifications of the courses being taught. Based on the problems above, the faculty will think of a better system, namely switching from a manual system to a Group Decision Support System (GDSS). The GDSS method used is the promethee and borda method which is one method of solving decision-making problems in a group. With promethee and borda method, several different opinions or perceptions about a decision can be combined into a group/joint decision. That way, the resulting decisions can be accepted by the group. The system development method uses the waterfall method which consists of several stages, including: data collection stage, analysis stage, design stage, coding stage and testing stage. The conclusion of this study resulted in a Group Decision Support System for determining the lecturers of courses using the borda method. Based on the results of system testing, respondents stated that the system can simplify and speed up the process of determining the course lecturers.

Abstract

Batola Residence housing is one of the residential institutions provided by the government for the lower middle class people with adequate facilities and infrastructure for housing residents. Management and storage of population data is still done in a manual way such as archived in a copy of the book. This resulted in less than optimal service to citizens because it takes a long time to get accurate information. The system used to manage population data can assist Block Chairs and Officers in matters of service to residents such as making reports or correspondence related to the population of Batola Residence Housing. This system was developed using the SDLC Methodology (System Development Life Cycle) waterfall model with the stages of communication, planning, modeling and construction. At the system design stage using ERD (Entity Relationship Diagram) and DFD (Data Flow Diagrams), namely Context Diagram, DFD Level 1 and DFD Level 2. The web development framework uses the Codeigneter Framework, which contains and arranges the programming languages PHP, HTML, and Javascript , and the MySQL query language. In the last stage for system testing using the Black Box Testing technique to get the results of all features running smoothly and the results of testing this system are in accordance with functional requirements.

Abstract

ABSTRACT The face is a source of biometric technology that characterizes the body parts attached to a person, which is often the object of research in the field of digital image processing. Facial bio-metric technology has been widely used in various electronic devices for facial recognition. However, the first step in facial biometrics is face detection. The purpose of face detection is to find facial areas in the image. Face detection is done by using a computer process in learning to recognize certain features, such as facial features, eyes, nose position, and lip shape. The computer will present a face image in the form of a two-dimensional matrix or more. The goal is to find out whether or not there is a face on an object in security verification. So, research related to face detection is a fundamental topic and plays an important role in the development of biometric technology. This study applies the Viola-Jones method to detect the presence of a human face with a variety of facial poses and accessories that are often worn on the face. This method has high accuracy and simple feature classification. This method does not use pixels directly in classifying images but instead uses the Haar feature to combine Integral Image and AdaBoost Machine Learning calculations to form a Cascade Classifier so that the results for the presence of faces are obtained. The research implementation uses Android and face detection is taken from screenshots stored on the Android device. The results of testing with an accuracy rate of up to 95.38% with an upright face position facing the camera and images with accessories an accuracy rate of up to 72.47%. This shows that the use of accessories can cover some facial features, thus making it difficult for the face detection algorithm to recognize faces accurately. Abstract

One important step in the process of identifying EKG signals is feature extraction, where the obtained features characterize the condition of the heart. The condition of the heart can be observed based on the waves produced in the EKG signal, which are generated by the electrical activity of the heart. In this study, two types of mother wavelets will be compared to determine which type is most suitable for extracting features from EKG signals. The types of mother wavelets to be compared are Daubechies and Symlet with orders of 5, 6, and 7 for Daubechies, and 6, 7, and 8 for Symlet. EKG signals with MI and normal heart conditions that have been improved in quality and have undergone signal segmentation are extracted using Discrete Wavelet Transformation (DWT) with Daubechies and Symlet mother wavelets at the two-level decomposition, and statistical features such as mean, median, standard deviation, kurtosis, and skewness are taken. Features are extracted from the D2 and D1 sub-bands, resulting in a total of 10 features obtained. The EKG signals are then classified using the KNN method, and to obtain generalized results, K-fold cross-validation is also applied. Based on the experiments conducted, the highest accuracy obtained was 94% with sensitivity and specificity of 82% and 91% by applying the Daubechies mother wavelet of order 7.

Abstract

Scheduling courses at each university is a complicated and complex job because there are many constraints and rules that must be considered. Scheduling is also crucial in the teaching and learning process because lecturer and student activities depend on the schedule that has been prepared. General problems that need to be considered when scheduling are the possibility that the lecturer will teach more than one course and the possibility that the number of courses and lecturers is not balanced. The preparation of class schedules at the Universitas Sarajanawiyata Tamansiswa, Faculty of Engineering is still done manually using excel so that the process of preparing the schedule takes a long time so it is less effective. This study aims to design a modeling system for optimizing course scheduling at the UST Faculty of Engineering with a Genetic algorithm in order to facilitate the development of a scheduling and optimize the time for preparing course schedules system. The data used is secondary data in the form of course scheduling data at the UST Faculty of Engineering even semester of the 2022/2023. The final result of this research is the scheduling optimization system modeling at the UST Faculty of Engineering. System process modeling is carried out using UML (Unified Modeling Language) which consists of 3 diagrams, namely Use Case Diagrams, Activity Diagrams, and Class Diagrams while modeling the analysis of data storage using ERD (Entity Relation Diagrams). In this study, 4 hard constraints and 3 soft constraints were applied which were the limitations in processing scheduling with genetic algorithms.

Abstract

This analysis is influenced by the rapid growth of information and communication technologies, which has a major impact on the environment of society and changes the way people live and work. User experience is becoming increasingly important in increasing the effectiveness of an application and strengthening the relationship between user and application. However, the use of applications also has significant impacts on the community’s environment, including increased energy consumption and related environmental impacts. Therefore, it is important to evaluate the impact of the use of applications/internet and user experience on the community environment. Yogyakarta, which is one of the largest cities in Indonesia with several tourist locations in every district and village center, is the right place to do such an evaluation. Most measurements using UEQ have positive values, on the sixth UEQ scale (Attractiveness, Perspicuity, Efficiency, Dependability, Stimulation and Novelty), only the percentage value on the aspect of innovation in these applications needs to be improved again and reevaluated.
