Abstract

Seedling System is the practice of buying and selling chili peppers between farmers and traders, which was previously preceded by the provision of chilli seeds from traders to farmers free of charge, giving these seeds by the trader as a strategy so that farmers, especially those who lack capital, can keep farming planting chilies and becoming a permanent supplier of chili to the trader. This study uses qualitative research with a case study approach. The results of the study showed that giving seedlings from traders to farmers including the bi syartin grant agreement, Ulama 'differed in their legal status, according to the Hanafi, Maliki, Hambali and Syafi'i sect (in qoul adharnya) saying the law was valid, while according to some Syafi sect. 'i (the opposite of qoul adhar) and some of the Hambali sect say that it is invalid, on the grounds that the grant agreement is a Tabarru contract' which is very contrary to compensation

Abstract

Abstract Culture is a complex whole that contains knowledge, beliefs, arts, morals, customary law and other abilities, and habits acquired by humans as members of society. The creation of culture is inseparable from the process of social interaction between individuals, groups, or individuals and groups. Social interaction is the most real reality in human life. The purpose of this study is to describe the efforts of teachers in preserving local cultural values ??through social studies subjects in MTs Kebunrejo, Banyuwangi Regency and describing teachers' efforts to internalize local cultural values ??through social studies in MTs Kebunrejo Banyuwangi Regency. This study employs a qualitative approach descriptive research. Data was collected through observation, interviews and documentation. And the validity of the data was done by triangulation of sources and triangulation of techniques. The results of the study show that teachers efforts in preserving local cultural values ??in MTs Kebunrejo is through the learning process in the classroom which includes three stages of activity namely the preparation phase, the implementation phase and the evaluation phase. Teachers efforts in internalizing local culture in MTs Kebunrejo that is by incorporating local culture through learning material being taught and involving students in cultural events such as dancing gandrung dances in festivals in the districts and districts as well as participating in cultural activities in schools.

Abstract

Abstract The purpose of this paper is to describe the strategic steps for completing the stabilization and rehabilitation of the early New Order economy. The method used is a qualitative method using a historical approach and economic theory to examine the economic maneuvers of Sultan HB IX. The research method used is a historical research method in which there are 5 stages: topic selection, heuristics, source criticism, interpretation, and historiography. The result of this research is that after Sultan HB IX occupied strategic positions, namely Waperdam Ekubang, Menutama EKKU, and Minister of EKUIN in the government. Sultan HB IX issued his political-economic statement which also became a maneuver to solve problems in the economic field. From the results of these studies, it can be concluded that the solution to economic problems at the beginning of the new order was by taking actions at home and abroad which would provide a positive stimulus for the Indonesian economy.

Abstract

Every big city generally experiences problems related to living space availability. This problem also afflicts Surabaya, which is often pinned as the second-largest city in Indonesia. One of the space points that is considered able to fulfill the living space by the urban poor community is the area on the edge of the railroad tracks, or around the tracks. The confrontation between regulations and residential areas that violate these regulations causes a conflict between government institutions and the communities on the edge of the rail. This paper aims to examine the problem of land around the railroad tracks in the city of Surabaya in 2013.  The method used in this paper is the Historical Research Method. The result of this study is that the root cause of the land ownership conflict in Surabaya is the ownership of land certificates by the residents and binding rules at the national level. The residents own the certificate of eigendom verponding, as well as the green letter to be able to occupy the land, while the PT KAI is based on articles of railways. They demanded to stop the efforts to control the houses along the railroad tracks. In addition, they continue to defend every inch of land they own, until they receive a sense of justice from the authorities with commensurate compensation.

Abstract

Abstract Nahdlatul Ulama is a socio-religious organization founded by K.H. Hasyim Asy'ary with the elderly Kyai in East Java by carrying out the ideals of civilization, namely to create a harmonious and just world order based on morality. Manisrenggo is an area where people do not understand the teachings of Islam, so the majority of people still behave in violation of religious norms such as drinking, gambling, and believing in animism and dynamism. NU began to be known in Manisrenggo District around 1983 which was brought by K.H Masyhudi Hamid, a local Ulama from Wonokromo who moved to Klaten to carry out his duties as a Projo Pager or Satpol PP, as well as preaching to spread Islam to the Manisrenggo Community. This research uses the theory of great tradition and little tradition or big tradition and small tradition introduced by Robert Redfield. The results obtained from this study indicate that Manisrenggo which was originally a small area on the slopes of Mount Merapi where even the people know very little about Islam and their daily lives are still filled with activities that violate religious and community norms such as gambling, drinking, stealing, and others. After the arrival of Nahdlatul Ulama in Manisrenggo, the people became more acquainted with Islam and gradually began to know the teachings of Islam and leave their old culture. NU in Manisrenggo also plays an active role in social, religious, and educational fields which can be seen from the establishment of madrasas, Islamic boarding schools, TPAs, assemblies, mosques, prayer rooms, and various other activities with the community.

Abstract

The use of learning resources in the teaching and learning process is very necessary for both teachers and students. Learning resources are all kinds of sources that exist outside of students whose existence facilitates the learning process. Information technology is defined as science in the field of computer-based information and its development is very rapid. In the world of education, the existence of information technology as a medium is very necessary. Teachers can use learning resources obtained from the internet in the form of ebooks, journals and others so that students' insights can be broadened. MTs Nuris Silo in the learning process, the teacher uses Information Technology-based learning resources in Social Studies Subjects for class VIII, namely the teacher uses student books in the form of ebooks, uses videos, articles from the internet, and pictures. The results of the use of technology-based learning resources can facilitate the learning process. students understand what is explained by the teacher from those who do not know to know, from those who do not understand to understand. Learning outcomes are an important aspect for educators, because by assessing student learning outcomes, educators obtain information about student learning progress. This has been proven by the results of the assignments given by the teacher.

Abstract

Abstract This article will explain about the integration of Islam and local culture in the architecture of ancient mosques in Java. The architecture of the ancient mosque to this day is still considered to have a deep meaning. The encounter with local culture and Islam, made Islam transformed into a religion that sees the existing reality. Civilization is in the form of a physical stand firmly in its nuances of locality. Mosques are historical relics for Muslims as evidence that Islamic history has succeeded in bringing civilization to a stop in Java. The mosque is a center for da'wah, education and socio-religious activities. So the establishment of the mosque is not a matter of physical considerations, but metaphysical. The method that the author uses is the historical method. This article only looks at an overview of the architecture of ancient mosques in Java. The content of the discussion describes how Islamic architecture in Java, architectural development, integration of Islam and culture in the art of ancient mosque architecture in Java. In conclusion, there is no certain standard in building and establishing mosques in Java. The architectural style of Javanese Islamic mosques has given its own characteristics for Islam in Java.

Abstract

Abstract The results of observations on students of class XI IPS 1 and XI IPS 2 at SMA NU Genteng Banyuwangi are still below the minimum completeness score of 75 as many as 35 students. researchers use leaflet teaching materials supplements to improve student learning outcomes. This research was conducted in January 2020 at SMA NU Genteng. The population and sample in this study were students of class XI IPS 1 and XI IPS 2 with the control class selected using cluster random sampling technique. The data used are quantitative to calculate the N-gain value from the difference between the pretest and posttest scores. The data were analyzed using t test and Mann Whitney-U. The increase in student learning outcomes is indicated by the difference in the average pretest score of 63.6 and posttest of 84.6. The average value is in accordance with the minimum completeness set by the school, which is 75. In addition, it is also supported by an N-Gain value of 83.2 which shows an increase in student learning outcomes before and after learning is carried out. The percentage of students who dare to express their opinions is 72.9%, students who are active in group work are 78.6%, who are actively asking questions are 76.4%, dare to present the results of discussions are 81.6% and exchange information are 75.7% . These indicators show the improvement experienced by students. Students who experienced an increase in aspects of knowledge (C1), aspects of understanding (C2) and aspects of analyzing had an average N-gain of 71.2.

Abstract

This research aims to (1) develop teaching material in the form of an encyclopedia in social studies subject for pre-literacy in VII grade at MTs Mambaul Huda Ngraseh in the 2020/2021 academic year, (2) to know the effectiveness of teaching material in the form of encyclopedia in social studies subject for pre-literacy in VII grade at MTs Mambaul Huda Ngraseh in the 2020/2021 academic year. This research is development research that uses Sugiyono’s development model as a line of research stages. Data analysis was used in this research, namely qualitative and quantitative data analysis techniques. The product that has been made, then validated by material experts, design experts, and linguists in sequence show: (1) the value of 77% is in the “valid” category, and the value of 92% is in the “very valid” category; (2) the value of 53% is in the “less valid” category, and the value of 92% is in the “very valid” category; (3) the value of 89% is in the “very valid” category. The trial result of small groups and large groups in the sequence indicates: (1) the value of 87,86% is in the “very effective” category; (2) the value of 87,20% is in the “very effective” category. The results of the questionnaire student's response get a score of 89% is in the “very interest” category. Based on the research, it can be concluded that teaching material in the form of an encyclopedia in social studies that experts have validated is worth using as a learning resource for social studies, and social studies teaching material in the form of an encyclopedia are effectively used as social science teaching materials for social studies subject for pre-literacy in VII Grade.

Abstract

This article describes the impact of development on the economy caused by the colonial government's practice of Imperialism and colonialism. Imperialism and colonialism assume that all wealth in a country belongs to the government. This practice has been going on for a long time since the Dutch colonial era, which is still felt today, even though Indonesia has become independent. These assumptions are eventually detrimental to society, especially in the economic aspect. In this case, the researcher wants to know how the effects of Imperialism and colonialism can affect the economy of the community, both in the past and in modern society today. In the results of this study, researchers found that there were still development policies in the colonial era that were still being implemented and significantly impacted society in general, especially in terms of the economy in Indonesia. The researcher used the descriptive qualitative method with a literature study. Researchers, in this case, will approach the economic and historical aspects more. This study only wants to see an overview of the impact of development on the economy that occurs in society.
