Abstract

The aims of the study are to measure and obtain data change on dysmenorrhea in the group of ginger drinks and dark chocolateand to compare the effectiveness between ginger drinks and dark chocolate in decreasing dysmenorrhea. Dysmenorrhea disorders can be occur for several hours even up to several days and interfere daily activities. Approximately 15% during menstrual dysmenorrhea has an impact on daily activities, requiring antianalgesic drugs and nearly 40% of dysmenorrhea may require medical treatment and 8-10% are not attending school. The research design uses Quasi Experimental with one group pretest-posttest design. The result ofdifference between pretest and posttest valueobtained by using Paired Sample Test. The result of the research shows the correlation between intensity of dysmenorrhea and ginger drinks seen from significant value α 0.020 α 0.05 while the strength of the relation is medium which seen from correlation strength is 0.592. Whereas there is no correlation between intensity of dysmenorrhea and dark chocolate seen from significant value α 0.421 α 0.05 with low relation strength seen from correlation strength value 0,225. Based on the results, the researchers concluded that ginger drinks is more influential in decreasing dysmenorrhea than dark chocolate with α 0.020 α 0.05.

A systematic review by using the search facility database online through PubMed and EBSCO. Journal were screen by using search engine with 5 keywords “child marriage” OR “early marriage” AND “impact” AND “health” then screened based on specific publication from 2013 to 2018, use english, full text, and selecting journals based title and abstract. Found 3822 journals at early stage and at the end 5 articles were included in review. Child marriage significantly increases the likelihood of stillbirth/miscarriage, late child development or stunting, mental health is worse, excessive bleeding, and many women in the ‘thin’/malnutrition category were married before 18 years. There are many health consequences of health marriage. Prevent the occurrence of child marriage, should the child be given education about reproductive health especially, related to the impact of child marriage.

Abstract

The largest center of metal casting industry in Indonesia is located in sub-district of Ceper, Klaten, Central Java. The companies of this region open orders for manufacturing engine spare parts and any other engineering needs. The research aims to provide a media accelerating the process of estimation and decision making on product ordering acceptance in the form of Decision Suppprt System (DSS). The method used in this research was System Development Life Cycle (SDLC) encompassing system analysis, system design, and system implementation. The contrive of application used basic programming language with visual Studio Community 2017 software and Microsoft Access basic database software. The testing result of Decission Support System on consumer ordering acceptance using alpha test method and black box test showed that the application program is proper to use and in accordance to the needs of corporate managers to take decision on ordering acceptance.

It can cause and increase the family burden. Brain vitalization gymnastics is one of the methods to improve memory. The study aims to investigate the effect of brain vitalization activity on dementia incidence in elderly at Budi Luhur Nursing Home of Yogyakarta. The study used Quasi Experimental with Pretest-Posttest control group and randomized sampling system. The samples were taken randomly as many as 26 respondents and were divided into two groups namely 13 respondents of experimental group and 13 respondents of control group. The statistical test used Wilcoxon Match Pairs Test. The result showed that Wilcoxon Match pairs test obtained p value 0,003, which is smaller than 0,005. There is an effect of brain vitalization activity on dementia incidence in elderly at Budi Luhur Nursing Home of Yogyakarta

Abstract

The purpose of the research is to identify the differences between image information of MRI Brain in axial plane Diffusion Weighted Image (DWI) sequence and variation b value in case ischemic stroke, and to determine optimal b value in examination MRI Brain in case Ischemic Stroke. This research was a quantitative research with experimental approach. This research was done in Panti Rapih Hospital, Yogyakarta and used 8 ischemic stroke patients with 3 variasion b value (500s/mm2, 1000 s/mm2, 1500 s/mm2) and 3 radiologists as respondents. The data were analyzed using Friedman test. Result showed that there was difference between image information of MRI Brain in axial plane Diffusion Weighted Image (DWI) sequence and variation b value in case ischemic stroke with p0.05 which means there is a difference between Basal Ganglia, Cerebellum, and the border of the infarction. Meanwhile, Cortex Cerebri, Thalamus and Pons obtained no difference in image information and the optimal b value for MRI Brain examination of ischemic stroke 1500 s/mm2. Based on the result there was a difference  between image information of MRI Brain in axial plane Diffusion Weighted Image (DWI) sequence and variation b value in case ischemic stroke. Optimal value of variation b value for MRI Brain examination of ischemic stroke was 1500 s/mm2.

Abstract

The incidence of premature rupture of membranes ranges from 5-10% of all partum. Preterm PROM occurs in 1% of all pregnancies, 70% of cases occur in term pregnancies and 30% of occurrence of PROM causes of premature birth. This study aimed to determine the correlation between anemia and the incidence of premature rupture of membranes at Regional Public Hospital of Panembahan Senopati Bantul in 2016-2017. The research design was analytic survey method using retrospective time approach. The sample technique used total sampling of 172 mothers with premature rupture of membranes. Based on data analysis it was found that partum women with mild anemia, as many as 155 respondents (90.1%), had premature rupture of membrane PROM 37 weeks, while partum women with moderate anemia, as many as 6 respondents (5.0%), experienced premature rupture of membranes PPROM 37 weeks . Chi Square statistical test results with a significant level of 0.05 obtained p value= 0.001 (p value 0.005). There was a correlation between anemia and the incidence of premature rupture of membranes at Regional Public Hospital of Panembahan Senopati Bantul in 2017. Health workers should provide good ANC services in order to prevent anemia that affects the incidence of premature rupture of membranes.

Abstract

The birth of elective Caesarean Sectio leads to a 3-fold risk than the risk of vaginal birth, whereas emergency Sectio Caesarean birth causes a 9-fold risk than the risk of vaginal delivery. This research uses analytic observational design. The data retrieval uses a retrospective time approach. The sample in this research is taken with purposive sampling technique (January 1 st 2016 to December 31 th 2016), were 195 patients. This study, using secondary data. Data analysis used Chi Square. With significance level 0,05 obtained result of P Value equal to 0,000 (P Value 0.05) and value of closeness (Phi) equal to 0,612. Therefore it can be concluded there is a relationship between the first labor with the next labor at PKU Muhammadiyah Yogyakarta Hospital in 2016 with the strong relationship.
