Abstract The most effective inculcation of multiculturalism values is through education, in this case one of which is by applying education and instilling multicultural values to respond to cultural diversity by offering democracy, equality, independence, and diversity in an approach. Multicultural education brings every level of society to feel recognized, valued, treated democratically and appropriately despite cultural differences. The ideal indication is the willingness to accept and respect other groups of ethnic, gender, and religious and cultural affiliation. Multicultural education emerges as a bond, relationship, security and guarantor for the continuity of pluralism. It is intended for the creation of harmony among fellow human beings with definite differences between them. In fact, the core values of multicultural education have in common with the core values contained in the teachings of Islam related to relationships between people. Abstract Al-Qur'an is the holy book of Islam which is loaded with the principles of life including moral education. This study aims to examine al-Qur'an verses 11-13 al-Hujurat about moral education and its application in people's lives. This type of research is library research, using documentary data collection methods and data analysis methods using content analysis. The results showed that moral education in the Koran al-Hujurat verses 11-13 include: Uphold the honor of Muslims, repentance, positive thinking, ta'aruf and egalitarian (equality). The application in social life is carried out through exemplary methods, advice, stories, lectures, habituation, warnings and threats (tarhib). Abstract This study aims to examine science and technology in the perspective of the Qur'an, and the positive and negative impacts on human life. This research is a library research using a qualitative descriptive approach. The data collection method uses the documentary method, and data analysis using inductive and deductive analysis. The results showed that science and technology in the perspective of the Qur'an absolutely upheld because it is very necessary in everyday life and even many provide convenience for human life. However, in its application, consideration must be given to the positive and negative impacts, so that the right policies are needed so that they are not detrimental to human life itself. Abstract This study aims to examine the angels in the perspective of the Qur'an (Comparative Study of the interpretation of al-Ṭabarî and Quraish Shihab). This type of research is library research with a qualitative descriptive approach. The data collection method is a documentary, while the data analysis method uses inductive, deductive and comparative methods. The results show that al-Ṭabarî is one of the commentators who offers a method of interpretation of bi al-Ma'ṡȗr with the narrative approach of the Companions, and tâbi'în, interpretation of angels tends to refer to Isriliyat. This can be seen from the interpretation which says that in essence angels and demons are a group of people in heaven. Devil used to be named ‘Azâzîl. While Quraish Shihab is one of the commentators who emphasizes bi al-ra'y interpretation patterns with the language analysis approach. According to the Quraish Shihab, that istiṡnâ’ 'in the word illâ Iblîs is istiṡnâ “which is munqaṭi” so that the word "ill" means "but", so according to him, Devil is not part of the angel. Abstract This paper discusses about Islam and Javanese culture in Clifford Geertz’s perspective. Geertz's thought was carried out in several stages. First, describing the meaning of religion according to anthropologists. Second, revealing the symbiotic side of Islamic and Javanese mutualism according to Geertz. Meanwhile, if seen from the appreciation and intensity of its practice of Islamic teachings, in the sociological construct, Muslims in Java can be classified into Santri, Abangan, and Priyayi. First is the representation of Javanese Muslims who are very strict in carrying out the teachings of Islam while, in contrast, second one and last is the Muslim community that carries out Islamic teachings in a perfunctory and often "indifferent" way. Abstract The main problem in this research is the material and methods of Islamic education contained in the 99 Light Film in the Sky of Europe. This study aims to uncover and analyze the material and methods of Islamic education. This research is a literature study (library research) using the approach of Islamic education, which on the material and methods of Islamic education with the study of deductive theory. Data collection using the method of observation and documentation methods, while to analyze the use of the method of content analysis (content analysis). The results of this study indicate that Islamic educational material in the Film 99 Light in the Sky of Europe includes aqidah material which includes: material faith in Allah SWT and faith in the books of Allah SWT, as well as halal and haram material, thaharah, tolerance and worship. While the Islamic education methods contained in the 99 99 Light in the Sky Film Europe include: discussion methods, field trips, advice methods and story methods. Abstract This study aims to examine the role of parents in child morals in the perspective of Islamic education. This type of research is qualitative through library research, the source of data from the literature in the form of books, written works, and other written sources contained in print and electronic media, which are related to the subject matter of the discussion. The data analysis technique used is a descriptive qualitative analysis technique. The results showed that in the perspective of Islamic education, parents have a large role in the formation of children's morals. Abstract This study aims to describe the Implementation of al-Qur'an Surah al-‘Alaq verses 1-5 in the Study of Science and Technology. This type of research is a literature study (library research) with a qualitative descriptive approach. The data collection method uses the documentary method which is sourced from al-Qur'an at al-laAlaq verses 1-5 and several commentaries such as al-Maragi, Ibn Kathir, al-Misbah, and al-Mizan. While the data analysis method uses the Tahlily method and the Contents analysis method. The results of this study indicate that the conception of learning in the Qur'an surah al-'Alaq verses 1-5 can be interpreted as intellectual enlightenment, which can be seen from the repetition of the word iqra 'twice, thus making it a habit to continue learning continuously. While its implementation in learning Science and Technology is implied in the word Iqra '(reading), because reading here does not mean only reading a text, but reading nature, situations and conditions around us. Abstract This study aims to examine the exemplary of Luqman al-Hakim in Forming Child Morals in the letter Luqman verses 12-19. This type of research is library research with the maudlu'iy approach, which collects verses according to their central theme, then discusses and analyzes them so that they become a unified whole. The documentary data collection method was then analyzed using deductive and comparative analysis. The results showed that the will of Luqm al-Hakim in Luqmân verses 12-19 included: Aqeedah Education, Birrul Walidain, Commands to establish Salat, Amar Ma'ruf Nahi Mungkar, and Budi Pekerti or Moral Education. This study was aim to determine the relationship between religiosity and democratic parenting with the students’ empathy. The participants of this study were the eighth grade students of MTs Negeri 14 Jombang in the academic year 2019-2020. The data collection tools used in this study were the scale of religiosity, parenting scale and empathy scale that refers to Likert. The assumption test results showed that one of the linearity assumptions of the relationship is not fulfilled, then the data analysis technique which was originally used multiple and partial regression analysis was then replaced with nonparametric correlation analysis of ‘spearman's rho’level. The results of the spearman's rho level correlation between religiosity and empathy obtained rho = 0.327 and sig 0.039 (P <0.05). It means that there was a significant positive relationship between religiosity and empathy for students of class VIII MTsN 14 Jombang. The results of the spearman 's rho correlation between democratic parenting with empathy obtained rho = 0.367 and sig 0.020 (P <0.05) means that there was a significant positive relationship between democratic parenting with students’ empathy of class VIII MTsN 14 Jombang.
