Abstract

The research objective was to empower the community through training in v cakes (vegetable cakes) to increase the knowledge and entrepreneurial attitudes of the community in Palintang Village, Bandung. The method used is quasi-experimental combined with Systemic, Holistic, Interdisciplinary, and Participatory approaches. The research design used posttest only group design (treatment by subject design). The activities carried out began with problem identification, then prioritized problems, and then an action plan was made. This action plan was used as a research intervention in the form of entrepreneurship training. The independent variable is community empowerment through vegetable cakes. The dependent variables are (a) knowledge of entrepreneurship and (b) entrepreneurial attitudes. The data obtained were analyzed descriptively by looking for the percentage change and followed by a paired t-test with a significance level of 5% to analyze the differences in people's knowledge and attitudes between before and after the training. The results of the data analysis showed that the community's knowledge and attitudes were different between the pre and post-V cakes training (p <0.05). In this case, there was an increase in knowledge by 21.18%, and entrepreneurial attitudes increased by 9.57%. Thus it can be concluded that community empowerment through v-cakes training can improve the knowledge and entrepreneurial attitudes of the community in Palintang village, Bandung.

Abstract

Teachers in the 2013 curriculum are required to study handbooks published by the government in connection with the mapping of indicators and the suitability of basic competencies with subsequent indicators adjusted to Permendikbud No. 21 and 22 of 2016. But in reality at school teachers do not fully use books Because teacher in the learning process teachers still feel confused using books. The problem faced in this service is how the application of teacher and student books books before Permendikbud 21 and 22 of 2016. The purpose of this service is to find out the extent of understanding of primary school teachers in the application of teacher books and student books before Permendikbud No. 21 and 22, 2016. With book reviews and student teacher books, teachers can better understand how teacher and student books books should be.

Abstract

This google suite training activity is one form of community service activities which is done by the excellent team of LPPM Unwidha Klaten. This is aimed at teachers to prepare the 21st century skills. Before, the training activities took place, the team was conducted the observation and interview, so it was decided that the place for community service activities was SMA Negeri 1 Jatinom and it is carried out in three meeting session of training. The first meeting was training on google docs, google slides, and google sheets. The second meeting was google form and google drive. The third meeting was google site and google classroom. This training shows the enthusiasm of the participants to learn the 21st century skills. It can be seen by the participants who consistently follow and explore all the material in training. From the total of 66 participants, 70% of them have completed all the task which is given in the end of each training. Besides, the participants are considered capable in operating various google suite according to the material provided.

Abstract

The purpose of this community service activity was explained, so that parents, and the community in Kauman Village, Sedayu District, Gresik Regency, had more attention about the importance of assisting children in operating the Mobile Phone (HP), especially in accessing social media. The approach that will be applied in the implementation of this activity is the lecture and simulation methods. The activities that will be carried out are an explanation of the understanding, rules, and dangers that will come if the operation of a child without the assistance and education of a parent, parenting is done by providing how the application of parents who should, in assisting their children to play mobile or social media. From this parenting activity, it can be concluded that there is an increase in the community's understanding of the nature of parenting, and the implementation of parenting, the impacts that can occur. The increase was seen from the average value of the pre-test of 85%, which initially not many participants understood the positive and negative aspects of social media, this means that only 15% of participants knew the nature of parenting. After taking part in the training in parenting activities, the average post-test score rose to 92% of participants who understood parenting, and only 8% were left with low scores.

Abstract

Public fear of the Covid-19 virus has resulted in social restrictions. This has an impact on determining the productivity and economy of society. For this reason, it is necessary to adapt new habits so that people can be productive again in breaking the chain of spreading the Covid-19 Virus. This service aims to provide knowledge to the public about the Adaptation of New Habits Towards a Productive and Safe Covid-19 Society. Community service activities were carried out on September 4, 2020 with a total of 25 participants from the people Mojo Agung Hamlet, Seputih Jaya Village in the form of socialization and discussion. The assessment was carried out using quantitative methods by distributing the pre-test and post-test. The results of this service concluded that there was an increase in participants' knowledge about the adaptation of new habits during the Covid-19 pandemic. This is shown by the increase in the value of the participants' knowledge after being given some materials and simulations as much as 38%.

Abstract

One of the large and important sector contribution in realizing the goals of national economic development is Youth. Youth have the ability to participate spur national economic growth. The development of small and medium enterprise sector that is managed by the Youth, especially in the village of Warnasari Pangalengan Bandung regency, West Java province. Warnasari village is actually located on a strategic area adjacent to the tourist potential Cileunca. Mountain air and natural beauty which is owned Warnasari, contributed to the development of the tourism sector. It can make Pangalengan Warnasari area as a tourism area.One community empowerment is very important to do in the village Warnasari is to prepare everything, both human resources and infrastructure to manage the natural resources that exist in order to boost the tourism potential there. Communication skills are also needed in relation -menjalin business development, marketing, promotion, etc. - also in the development and empowerment of self - personal branding / self empowering. Target outcomes of the implementation of this program is the creation of skills in verbal communication and non-verbal in both partners, The method used in the implementation of this program, covering namely; training and simulation. In addition to setting method, the team also determined the procedure, step - step. executive team is an expert in the field of environment Pasundan University Bandung, which is experienced in implementing development programs, especially in the field of communications. The most important thing in communication skills is understanding how to communicate in interaction, in this case the communication skills verbal and non-verbal is essential. Communication skills training people to participate actively in the interaction around it's precisely accurate. And indirectly Communication skills have become the main weapon which is powerful for people to be able to develop the tourism potential in the village Warnasari.

Abstract

This study aims to determine and analyze the implementation of the management of the Cibalanarik Village-Owned Enterprises of Tanjungjaya District, Tasikmalaya Regency. The implementation can be seen from the factors of policy size and objectives, resources, characteristics of implementing agents, disposition of implementers, communication between organizations and implementing activities. The research method used is qualitative methods through observation and in-depth interviews with people who have information related to the management of the Cibalanarik Village-Owned Enterprises in the Tanjungjaya District of Tasikmalaya Regency. Data analysis technique is done through data reduction, data display up to the conclusion. Based on the results of the study showed that the implementation of the management of the Entrepreneurship of the Village of Cibalanarik, Tanjungjaya District, Tasikmalaya Regency. Implementation can be effective by fulfilling aspects of achieving policy objectives, availability of resources, the ability of the implementers / managers of Village-Owned Enterprises, the spirit required to build and develop Village-Owned Enterprises, and the ability to communicate with various parties.

Abstract

Competitive advantage is the ability of an organization to formulate a strategy that places it in a favorable position with respect to other organizations. It is not easy to make HR a source of competitive advantage for a company because it is related not only to ability and expertise, but also to personal factors such as values, perceptions, attitudes, personality and individual willingness to advance. Human resources are said to have a competitive advantage if they have unique skills and personalities that match the company personality where they work. Abstract

Pangalengan is one of the districts in Bandung Regency which is an agricultural center. One of the potential products in the Pangalengan area is Pangalengan coffee which is well known to foreign countries. However, not all of the village areas in Pangalengan coffee farming have not been made a top priority, so there is still a need for coaching and mentoring as the PPM team of this group is serving together with the PPM team of the Faculty of Social and Political Sciences (FISIP) Unpas in February 2019 in Warnasari Village, Pangalengan District Bandung. The problems identified in the partners are human resources, raw materials, production, products, and marketing. The target or partners in this activity are coffee farmers in the Warnasari Village, Pangalengan. The method of activities includes social mapping related to the identification of problems faced by coffee farmers and FGDs with entrepreneurship material. The results of this period PPM devotion shows a change in the mindset of coffee farmers to turn coffee into a priority or mainstay of the region's commodities, in addition to the awareness related to the increasing spirit of entrepreneurship desiring to process coffee yields with variant forms in the future. Abstract

Indonesia has the perpetrators of Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises or SMEs which sums are growing. In the city of Bandung there Zoraya Community consisting of small and medium entrepreneurs, which aims to share the products and exchange experiences in marketing their products. Zoraya Community members belong to the cottage industry entrepreneurs, who have problems in marketing their products. Marketing through social media and direct marketing or direct selling them often become a bottleneck. This occurs at the time of product exhibition,they are hampered in communicating to consumers in promoting their products. The right solution to the problem is the public speaking training, capacity building through presentation skills, facilitation process of direct selling products during the exhibition. The method used in the form of training activities as part of the presentation skill of public speaking, presentations skills training benef its, training of basic techniques for presentation public speaking skills, and training make the script about a superior product. The results of this activity is that participants increased understanding of how effective product presentation and systematic. Besides increasing the confidence member Zoraya Community after being given training.
