Abstract

High school (SMA) has several majors and entry requirements for these majors. One of them is senior high school. One of the majors in this high school is the Mathematics and Natural Sciences department, usually there are class groups that are tailored to the knowledge and abilities of prospective students. but there are requirements for prospective new students to be accepted into the Mathematics and Natural Sciences class based on their abilities and knowledge, one of the requirements is the National Examination Score at the Junior High School level, the Mathematics National Examination scores and the Science National Examination scores. Abstract

Salah satu faktor penyebab ketidakberhasilan siswa dalam mata pelajaran matematika adalah kelemahan siswa dalam menggunakan penalaran dengan baik di saat menyelesaikan persoalan matematika yang diterapkan pada kehidupan sehari – hari. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui dan membandingkan peningkatan kemampuan penalaran induktif siswa dalam pembelajaran matematika dengan menggunakan pendekatan kontekstual dan pendekatan tradisional. Penelitian ini juga bertujuan mengetahui perbedaan peningkatan kemampuan penalaran induktif siswa dalam pembelajaran matematika dengan menggunakan pendekatan kontekstual dan pendekatan tradisional. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode eksperimen dengan menyediakan kelompok kontrol dan kelompok eksperimen pada proses pelaksaannya. Populasi yang digunakan pada penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas VIII (delapan) di salah satu SMA negeri di Cirebon. Hasil dari penelitian ini diantaranya adalah 1)Dari hasil perbandingan nilai rata – rata kedua kelas, kelas eksperimen mendapat kenaikan 29,4 dan kelas kelas kontrol terdapat kenaikan sebesar 26,00. Oleh karena itu,dapat dikatakan bahwa kemampuan penalaran induktif siswa lebih baik dipelajari dengan pendekatan kontekstual dibandingkan dengan pendekatan tradisional.2)Hasil analisis data diketahui bahwa pada taraf signifikansi 1% thitung > ttabel , yaitu 2,883 > 2,641 artinya hipotesis yang diajukan penulis adalah terdapat perbedaan peningkatan kemampuan penalaran induktif siswa antara yang menggunakan pendekatan kontekstual dengan pendekatan tradisional di SMP Negeri 11.

Abstract

Through guided inquiry students will prove concepts or theories that already exist and can experience the process or experiment itself, then draw conclusions, so as to support students' understanding of the subject matter. In this case, if students understand more about the subject matter, it is hoped that their learning motivation can increase and have a positive influence on their learning outcomes. This study aims to increase the motivation to learn biology so that students gain knowledge, skills and positive attitude changes. The research was conducted in October - November 2022 at Labschool Jakarta High School. The research subjects were students of class XI IPA 1. The method used was Collaborative Classroom Action Research (CCAR). Data collection techniques were carried out by filling in observation sheets of learning activities, giving motivational questionnaires, and field notes during the learning process. In the pre-cycle data, it was found that 6% of students had low motivation, 70% had moderate motivation, and 24% had high motivation. The results of the first cycle 39% of students have moderate motivation and 61% have high motivation. Whereas for cycle II as much as 21% had moderate motivation and 79% had high motivation. From this study it can be concluded that the guided inquiry learning model can increase the motivation to study Biology in class XI SMA Labschool Jakarta.

Abstract

The goal of this research is to establish a connection between different learning styles and the set's final outcomes in MTs Daarul Falah Tangerang. Over the course of three months, from January to May of 2018, we performed this study. This study takes a numerical tack by employing statistical approaches like correlation and survey sampling. Instruments of learning force in the form of questionnaires are used to collect information for variable X (Learning Styles), whereas tests of mathematical learning outcomes are used to gather information for variable Y (Learning Outcomes Set). Descriptive and inferential statistics are used to make sense of the data. An association between learning-style variables (variable X) and set-level learning outcomes was found (variable Y). The t-test indicates that there is a connection between the way of learning and the outcome of the learning set (t compute (2,28) > t table (1,71)). The regression equation Y = 4.87+1.13X yields a rxy of 0.437, therefore this may be strengthened and dubukti. Given that rxy2 = (0.437)2 = 0.190 is the coefficient of determination for the relationship between learning style and outcome (Y), we can say that learning style accounts for 19% of the variance in Y. (X). Then, additional internal and external factors impact the remaining elements of the learning outcome set. This suggests that in MTs Daarul Falah Tangerang, students' learning results are related to the learning methods they employ.

Abstract

The study by researcher on student' difficulties in understanding mathematical concept that are taught. Based on the data above, teacher plans the implementation of peer tutoring methods to increase the understanding of mathematical concept. Increase in understanding of the mathematical concept that student uses the design of Classroom Action Research (CAR) models Kemmis and Mc. Taggart. The study was conducted on September 30th, 2022 to November 30th, 2022 in three cycles with a number of 18 student. Instrument used in this research, namely the observation sheet, student questionnaire, interview teacher as a observer, feedback sheet, student test sheet, and document in the form of a list of student' grades. Based on the research, it can be concluded that peer tutoring method can improve student' understanding of mathematical concept. Implementation of peer tutoring is done through a process of guidance for tutors, then tutor guides tutee in understanding the concept of straight line equation..

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to describe the level of competence of teachers as teachers in schools. Because, teacher competence is very important in carrying out their duties and profession as teaching staff. A teacher who has competence in his profession will be able to carry out his duties properly and effectively, efficiently and on target. The research method used is quantitative research and this type of research uses descriptive statistical analysis. The method of collecting primary data is from filling out questionnaires by teacher respondents and secondary data comes from school report data. Based on the results of the total indicators of each competency have different results. The teacher's personality competence at SMP N 20 Depok has the highest average and belongs to the good category, namely 4.15 and the teacher's pedagogic competence has an average of 3.89. Meanwhile, the professional competence of teachers has an average of 3.96 and the social competence of teachers is quite low, namely 3.63. This proves that the social level of teachers still needs to be improved to match what is expected

Abstract

Penulisan best praktis ini adalah untuk meningkatkan kemampuan menghitung operasi perkalian dan pembagian menggunakan model pembelajaran Realistic Mathematics Education (RME) pada siswa kelas IV. MIN 19 Bireuen tahun ajaran 2022-2023. Laporan best practice ini merupakan laporan yang dilaksanakan dalam dua kali pembelajaran. Subjek penelitian ini adalah guru dan siswa kelas IV MIN 19 Bireuen tahun ajaran 2022-2023 yang berjumlah 16 siswa terdiri dari 12 siswa laki-laki dan 4 siswa perempuan. Untuk mengetahui hasil dari dari kegiatan pembelajaran maka telah dilakukan pembelajaran dengan dua kali pertemuan sebelum dan sesudah menggunakan model atau metode pembelajaran Realistis. Penarikan kesimpulan.Hasil laporan best practice menunjukkan bahwa penerapan model pembelajaran Realistic Mathematics Education dapat meningkatkan kemampuan menghitung operasi perkalian dan pembagian pada siswa kelas IV MIN 19 Bireuen tahun ajaran 2022-2023. Peningkatan tersebut dapat dibuktikan pada pembelajaran sebelum menggunakan metode raelistis terdapat 4 orang siswa atau 26% yang mendapat nilai di atas KKTP 7.1 dan 12 orang siswa di bawah KKTP atau 18.75%. Setelah menggunakan model pembelajaran realistis maka terjadi lonjakan yang sangat signifikan terhadap hasil belajar siswa pada materi perkalian dan pembagian. Terdapat 13 orang siswa yang memperoleh nilai diatas KKTP atau 81.25% dan 3 orang siswa masih memperoleh nilai dibawah KKTP atau 18.75%. maka penggunaan metode atau model pembelajaran Realistis dapat meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa tentang perkalian dan pembagian di kelas IV.
