Abstract

This community service aims to provide insight into knowledge about learning strategies during the AKB period in Elementary School Malangbong Garut District, by providing insight into the importance of solving learning problems related to professional development to increase professionalism for educators during the adaptation of new habits. The problem is resolved in three stages of activities, namely preparation, implementation and evaluation. The results of community service activities show the level of success with an indication of a similar mindset of equivalent educators, a positive response from community service participants related to solving learning problems during the AKB period, and most (75%) participants have understood the concept of developing learning strategies what to do during the Covid-19 pandemic

Abstract

Abstract

This community service activity aims to improve teacher competence in distance learning during the adaptation period of new habits through the creation of online learning media, in particular making online questions based on google classrooms and interesting quizzes that can be easily used by teachers and students at SMPN 1 Banyuresmi. The service activity consists of two stages, the first stage is the delivery of material and the second stage is the practice of making online questions. The activity was attended by all teachers of SMPN 1 Banyuresmi. The training material is making online questions based on google classroom and quizziz. The results of the activity showed that community service was going well and smoothly. This was marked by a good response from the training participants and enthusiasm during the training and the application of online question making through the classroom and quizziz applications. the good is the point of view of assessment in this community service. Through this training, universities carry out their role to contribute to improving the competence of teachers or educators, especially in making learning media and online questions in Distance Learning activities. The obstacles that arise at this training stage are the relatively short time allocation, so that not all teachers can complete online question making

Abstract

Health is a very important aspect of life. One of ways to maintain it by taking care of your hands. A Hand sanitizer (antiseptic tangan) is a health’s product that can instantly kill microorganisms without using water and it can be used anytime and anywhere. The purpose of these dedications realizes one of the Tri Dharma colleges, socializes Clean and Healthy Living habits (PHBS) and it can produce a hand sanitizer that can be used properly for oneself, families, educational institutions and the surrounding societies. The method uses explanatory material and the practice of making hand sanitizers. The data analysis technique uses descriptive. The result of this dedications are the participants' understanding of the manufacture of hand sanitizer, the functions of hand sanitizer and the application of clean and healthy living habits

Abstract

This community service activity aims to provide skills for biology teachers on making high order thinking skills questions. Through the habituation of the use of HOTS questions, it is expected that students are accustomed and trained to use high-level thinking skills in daily learning. So later students not only memorize the concept of biology, but also have higher thinking skills. The service activity consists of two stages, the first stage is lecture delivery and the second phase is practices on making HOTS questions. The activity was attended by biology teachers who joined MGMP Biology in the scope of madrasah aliyah in garut district. The training material is making of HOTS questions. The results show that community service is well underway. Based on the overall poll results, teachers responded positively to this training. Teachers seem very enthusiastic on listening explanations and practicing. Teachers revealed through this training, they get more practical and clear description on making HOTS questions. Through this training, the college carries out its role to contribute on improving the competence of teachers, especially in the creation of HOTS-based questions. The obstacles that arise are the relatively short allocation of time, considering the skills of making hots questions need to be trained regularly

Abstract

The problem of teacher weakness in using software applications to support the online learning process is the theme raised in this training. The solution offered from this training is the Jotform application. The purpose of this training activity is to introduce the Jotform application to teachers in Garut. The research implementation method consists of five stages, namely: introduction, socialization, training, practice, and monitoring. The object of this training activity is the teachers in the Garut region. The training was conducted in two sessions, namely: presentation of material and practice. The benefit of the Jotform application training is evident from the commitment of the training participants about the plan to implement the Jotform application in their learning class. The results of the evaluation of the implementation of this training indicate that this training is useful to support the teaching and learning process carried out in schools. The training method is able to improve the skills of teachers in using the Jotform application. The conclusion of this training is the knowledge in using the Jotform application for teachers so that it is hoped that in the future teachers in Garut will use the Jotform application in making attendance forms and questionnaires/assignments/quizzes

Abstract

The purpose of this training activity was to introduce Edmodo to the e-learning media for teachers in Garut. The research implementation method consists of five stages, namely: introduction, socialization, training, practice, and monitoring. The object of this training activity is alumni teachers from the Garut Indonesian Institute of Education campus. The training was conducted in two sessions, namely: presentation of material and practice. The usefulness of the training in the use of Edmodo e-learning media is evident from the commitment of the training participants about the plan to implement Edmodo's e-learning media in their learning class. The results of the evaluation of the implementation of this training indicate that this training is useful to support the teaching and learning process carried out in schools. The training method can improve the skills of teachers in using Edmodo e-learning media, both as teachers, students, and parents of students. The conclusion of this training is the knowledge in the use of Edmodo e-learning media for teachers so that it is hoped that in the future teachers in Garut will use Edmodo e-learning media in supporting teaching and learning activities

Abstract

The impact of the Covid 19 pandemic requires teachers to change the learning approach, which was originally carried out face-to-face at school to distance learning using internet technology. Teachers have a strategic role and function in learning, of course, the quality of a teacher is the main key to managing learning. This training aims to equip teachers in managing the online learning management system using Moodle so that learning components can be integrated into one learning service and are expected to be implemented in the implementation of learning. This activity is a training part of the community service program carried out by the lecturers of the Information Technology Education Study Program. The activity is carried out by presenting material about online learning management and direct practice of managing online-based content / subject matter. Based on the results of filling out a questionnaire from 14 teacher participants, they responded positively to the online learning management training.

Abstract

Keterlibatan teknologi informasi dan komunikasi dalam bidang pendidikan telah memunculkan istilah baru yaitu Smart School. Istilah tersebut menuntut pimpinan institusi pendidikan untuk melakukan perubahan paradigma dalam memanfaatkan teknologi informasi dan komunikasi, minimalnya pada aspek metode pembelajaran dan pada aspek manajemen institusi pendidikan. Pada implementasinya masih muncul beberapa isu yang mengindikasikan kurang optimalnya pemanfaatan teknolgi informasi dan komunikasi di dunia pendidikan termasuk di antaranya adalah madrasah aliyah. Kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat (PkM) ini memiliki tujuan sebagai salah satu upaya untuk mengenalkan dan memberikan pengetahuan tentang pentingnya penerapan teknologi informasi dan komunikasi di lingkungan madrasah aliyah sehingga dapat meningkatkan kinerja dan mempermudah pelaksanaan berbagai kegiatan di sekolah, yang dalam pelaksanaannya menggunakan metode ceramah, metode diskusi, dan metode demo aplikasi. Kegiatan PkM ini ditargetkan untuk 25 orang peserta yang berasal dari berbagai madrasah aliyah di Kabupaten Garut.. Peserta yang hadir sebanyak 23 orang peserta yang merupakan guru-guru dan operator madrasah aliyah di Kabupaten Garut. Kegiatan PkM telah berhasil membuka wawasan baru terhadap guru-guru dan operator madrasah aliyah peserta pelatihan dalam memahami pentingnya penggunaan teknologi informasi dan komunikasi di sekolah madrasah aliyah

Abstract

The Covid-19 virus pandemic changes the pattern of several activities, one of which is learning from face-to-face (conventional) to online or online learning. Online learning is an alternative in overcoming this problem. The purpose of this service is to improve teacher competence in the use of online learning applications during the Covid-19 pandemic at the MGMP PPKn Garut Regency. The research subjects were PPKn teachers, especially those in Garut Regency and generally throughout Indonesia because the national workshop participants were open to the public. Virtual webinars and workshops with the zoom meeting application. The results obtained from these activities are: 1) Motivation of the teacher in online learning so that teaching and learning activities run optimally and can practice several applications that support online learning such as; Mentimeter application, google classroom, zoom meeting, google meet, schoology, modle, yutube, ig, whatapps group, and email; (2) Online learning has flexibility in its implementation and is able to encourage independent learning and motivation to be more active in learning; (3) online learning encourages the emergence of social distancing behavior and minimizes the emergence of a crowd of students so that it is considered to reduce the potential for the spread of Covid-19 in the school environment
