Abstract

The purpose of this study was to find out how the implementation of comics media in improving students' poetry writing skills. This study uses a descriptive qualitative research approach, while the type of research is a case study research using research instruments, namely the researchers themselves and using observation, interview, and documentation research data mining techniques. The data analysis model used is the Miles and Huberman Interactive model, which consists of three stages. First data collection, second data reduction, third data presentation/data display and verification or conclusion. Data analysis was carried out continuously until the end of the study. The subject of the study was the students of MI Al-Hidayah Serah Panceng Gresik. The respondents in this study amounted to 24 students. The independent variables of this study were the implementation of comics and media, while poetry writing skills were the dependent variable. The results of this study indicate that the implementation of comics media is very effective in improving the poetry writing skills of MI AL-Hidayah students for the 2020-2021 academic year.

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to find out the implementation of learning in the thematic curriculum at the elementary education level? Which includes knowledge about thematic learning and books or teaching materials used. Obstacles encountered during the implementation of thematic learning in determining models, media, and assessments in thematic learning in the Paciran district, Lamongan Regency. This research uses a type of qualitative research with a qualitative descriptive approach. The researcher made direct observations in the field to study in more depth, as a non-participant researcher. The results of this study not all of them understand the substance of the thematic curriculum, so that in implementation there are still many deficiencies, in the implementation many teachers are happy because they are suitable for the age of the child. , as well as supporting facilities for thematic models, including aspects of assessment which in implementation must assess all aspects of learning themes but the teacher must assess according to the basic competencies of the subjects included in each theme.

Abstract

This study aimed to describe the teaching and learning of Islamic Education for children with special needs in the school (SLB). Conducted at SLB Dharma Wanita, Ujung Pangkah Gresik, design of the research used a case study. Data collection used participant observation, interview and documentation. The results of the study showed that Islamic learning and education for children with special needs at SLB Dharma Wanita was carried out not only emphasizing in the cognitive aspects, but also in effective and psychomotor aspects. Teachers prepared lesson material, determined media, method and evaluation of teaching. The factors, which supported the learning of Islamic Religious Education for students with special needs included presence of teacher, pleasant of school building, and completeness of facilities of school. The obstacle factors in learning for student with special needs are the classroom condition, the level of intelligence and sensitivity of children, student tardiness at school and parental factors. For solution of obstacle factors, school could implement teaching and learning in the open area, provide an access to pick-up facilities and provide the control books of parent and teacher as well as provide special teachers to the students.

Abstract

The current pandemic has resulted in a change in the implementation of learning from conventional learning to an online or distance learning. This was done after the circulation of a decree from the Minister of Education and Culture Nadiem Makarim at number 36962/MPK.A/HK/2020 so that it requires all educational institutions to implement distance learning. In addition to the regulation, it caused the researcher to take a research to find out the learning concepts used by the English teachers and their perspectives on implementing online learning or distance learning.The objectives of this study are: 1) To see the concepts that the teachers apply in online-based English learning to students of Madrasah Ibtidaiyyah. 2) To see the teachers’ perspective in teaching online-based English learning to students of Madrasah Ibtidaiyyah.The research method used by researcher is qualitative methods, and the data collection techniques are interviews, questionnaires and documentation. The technique of selecting informants using purposive sampling is shown to the English teacher so that the information obtained is valid. In-depth interviews were conducted through direct interviews. Additionally, the researcher also does the data triangulation method then use the theory of teaching English in using distance learning method and English learning for elementary schools.The results showed that: 1) the learning concept applied at this time is the teachers used the WhatsApp application to deliver material and there were changes to the learning tools according to the online-based learning. 2) The teachers’ perspective in implementing distance learning shows that the teachers think that conventional learning is more effective than online or distance learning.

Abstract

This study aims to identify the teacher's efforts in motivating students at Madrasah Ibtidaiyah Islamiyah Pucangtelu Lamongan. Student learning problems are still very small, because many students are less interested in learning. This has an impact on increasing students' learning, starting from an environment that involves a lack of parental attention in student learning. Find out the location at MI Islamiyah Pucangtelu School Lamongan Jl. Located in. Santoso Pillar. This study uses qualitative methods to build documents based on the results of interviews, observations, and documentation. This is analyzed through document reduction, document presentation, and conclusions. The results of this study indicate that students' learning motivation is still lacking, so the teacher tries to motivate students to learn by providing strategies, methods, rewards and punishments. Facility B which supports the next learning process while the supporters are learning motivation factors. High interest in praise, gifts, rewards, and learning. Barriers to students' background due to family problems, poor moral conditions, inadequate relationships, and low interest in learning.

Abstract

History of Islamic Culture (SKI) is one of the subjects studied at Madrasah Ibtidaiyah (MI), Madrasah Tsanawiyah (MTS) and Madrasah Aliyah (MA). Learning Islamic Cultural History (SKI) also has a very important role. This subject is presented by the teacher, including by referring to the textbook entitled History of Islamic Culture (SKI) for MI. This research was conducted aiming to find out about how the process of implementing Islamic Cultural History (SKI) learning for class VI students at Madrasah Ibtidaiyah Nurul Iman Pematang Gajah Kec, Jambi Outside the City, Kab. Muaro Jambi. To achieve maximum learning objectives, teachers are required to use appropriate methods, strategies and learning media.

Abstract

The development of an increasingly complex era, education as the main door that must be implemented by applying time so that education can make humans become plenary first in developing education oriented in the context of Islamic values. The essence of Islamic education is an alternative source for the needs of the world of education, because Islamic education is an effort or process of guiding changes in attitudes and behavior of students in accordance with the instructions of Islamic teachings or in accordance with the new life, namely the Qur'an. The focus of this research tries to examine several concepts as basic assumptions in research, namely, first, examining the concept of Islamic education, second, the nature and objectives of Islamic education, third, the dynamics of the Islamic education movement, especially in the development of children with special needs in special needs students in SLB Negeri 2 Mataram. the source of the values of Islamic teachings. The approach approach is (Library research) literature studies to find theoretical concepts about work ethic and relevance to Islamic education, then supported by various references, articles, journals, books and so on. Specifically, it can be denied that the Islamic education movement can provide teaching efforts on aspects of developing intellectual, nurturing, planned in preparing students to know, understand, live up to faith, caution, and have a noble character in practicing Islamic teachings.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of using the flipbook E-module on student learning outcomes in science subjects at the elementary school level. This research uses a qualitative approach, which describes and analyzes the effect of using the flipbook E-module on student learning outcomes in science subjects at the elementary school level. The data collection technique used in this research is library research where literature study is literature research, which is the practice of collecting research-related materials from books, scientific journals, literature, and other publications that are worthy of being used as sources for research that will be researched by the author, by describing and analyzing the data. A research variable is everything that the researcher chooses to study in order to study it further, collect data about it, and then draw conclusions. In this study, it used Independent Variables and Dependent Variables. Harapan uses a qualitative approach to provide information about the facts of the effect of using the E-module flipbook on student learning outcomes in science subjects at the elementary school level. The purpose of writing this article is to increase readers' knowledge about the importance of using the flipbook E-module to student learning outcomes in science subjects at the elementary school level.

Abstract

This study aims to develop Siderman media (human circulatory system) in class V elementary school science learning. Because there are still many students whose grades are below the KKM or there are still many students who do not understand science lessons, especially the material for the human circulatory system, several problems are found such as a lack of student motivation in learning, student emotions are less controlled so the learning process is not conducive. In addition to these problems, the method used by the teacher when teaching is the lecture method and students study with textbooks only so that students feel bored and bored and as a result students are more engrossed in their own world, for example playing alone or even chatting with their classmates resulting in low student learning outcomes. under KKM, especially material for the circulatory system for class V science subjects. Therefore the researchers developed the SIDERMAN media (Human Circulatory System) with the subject matter of the human circulatory system in natural sciences. This learning media aims to increase students' knowledge about the human circulatory system material in science class V so that this media is packaged attractively and is easy to use. Siderman media in science subjects is structured in an interesting way so that it is very suitable to be applied to science subjects, especially the human circulatory system for class V SD.

Abstract

This article aims to examine the role of the scout movement in forming the character of social care and independence as the the expectations of government and society. Methods: This study used a qualitative approach, descriptive analytic by using the instrument observation, interviews, and documentation. Then continued with the analysis using method of Miles & Huberman. Results: Efforts to establish the character of the Scout Movement of SDIT Al-Ukhwah is understanding, sincerity, hard work, struggling earnestly, obedience, sacrifice, commitment, consistency, brotherhood and trust. The supporter basic principles of scouting, scouting methods, and code of honor.
