Abstract

Departments must match alumni and prospective alumni's skills so that the industrial world can be absorbed and alumni can begin working immediately according to the company and their skills. This study aimed to determine the role of public relations in the absorption of alumni and prospective alumni at SMK Negeri 1 Lawang Wetan through links and matches with the world of the work industry. The findings revealed that SMK Negeri 1 Lawang Wetan's Special Job Exchange played an important role in assisting alumni in finding jobs. The Special Job Exchange has put together a number of work programs to carry out its function of putting alumni in order to reach the absorption of alumni and boost the reputation of SMK Negeri 1 Lawang Wetan.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the principal's leadership as educational supervisors in fostering and improving the professionalism of Islamic Religious Education teachers at SD IT Robbani Indralya Ogan Ilir, South Sumatra. This research uses a descriptive qualitative research approach. In this study, the data source or object of this research was the principal and teachers at SD IT Robbani Indralaya Ogan Ilir, South Sumatra. The data was collected using observation, interview, and documentation techniques. Data analysis using the Milles and Huberman model which consists of data reduction, data display, verification, and measuring the level of data credibility using data source triangulation techniques. The results showed that the leadership of the Principal of SD IT Robbani Indralaya Ogan Ilir South Sumatra was included in the open leadership category. The professionalism of Islamic Religious Education Teachers at SD IT Robbani Indralaya is quite good, this is shown by the fulfillment of several competency standards such as pedagogical competence, personality competence, social competence, and professional competence.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the factors that influence the use of computers among educators. The sample used was 71 respondents from educators at SD Xaverius 1 Palembang and SMP Xaverius 6 Palembang with non-probability sampling. The data analysis technique used is multiple linear regression analysis. The results showed that the variables fear, anticipation, and pessimism did not have a significant effect on computer use among educators. The optimism variable (optimism) affects the use of computers among educators. The four variables, namely the variables of anxiety (fear), anticipation, pessimism, and optimism together have an effect on computer use among educators

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to examine the Madrasah Head's leadership style at MTs Negara 2 Musi Banyuasin. The research was conducted using a qualitative approach. Interviews, observation, and documentation were used to collect data. The education curriculum, madrasah management, institutional organization, financing of facilities and infrastructure, educators and education staff, administration, students, and residents around the madrasah were found to be supporting factors in improving the Independent Learning program in madrasah. The madrasah will function well if all of these factors are in place and operating in accordance with existing regulations. A more suitable environment will be created, and the quality of education in madrasah will improve. As a result, the madrasah principle plays a crucial role, as the quality of a madrasah will be reflected in the policies followed by the madrasah principal.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to describe the role of science instructors at MTs Negeri 2 Musi Banyuasin in home-based learning activities during the covid-19 epidemic. A qualitative technique is used in this research. The study's data was gathered through interviews with Madrasah science teachers in grades VII, VIII, and IX. The findings of this study show that science instructors at MTs N 2 Musi Banyuasin have fulfilled their job as facilitators in ways that are consistent with the indicators, aside from the element of delivering the module via video conference. Teachers are hampered in their function as facilitators by the following factors: 1) many pupils do not have cellphones; 2) some places have a bad internet connection; and 3) purchasing quotas set by parents.

Abstract

This study investigates the performance of teachers at SD Negeri 14 Banyuasin II during the Covid-19 pandemic. This study employed a qualitative method. Interviews, observations, and listings were used to collect data. Teacher performance in preparing lesson plans, teacher performance in implementing learning, teacher performance in assessing learning outcomes, and teacher discipline in learning were summarized as follows. The teacher's performance in learning planning was 92.5 percent, while performance in learning implementation was 70.35 percent, the performance in learning assessment was 91.9 percent, and the work discipline was 79.2 percent, according to the results. Several difficulties can obstruct teacher effectiveness, including the fact that teachers' techniques do not fully complement students' ability to activate their thinking capability and thus participate more actively in learning.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to examine the PKBM Institution Management strategy in the Ogan Ilir Regency's execution of equality education programs. In this study, the case study method with a qualitative approach was applied. The data source for this study is the district's PKBM manager, as well as the head of PNF-Dikmas. Data collection techniques using interview guidelines, observation, and documentation. The interactive analysis model which includes data collection, data reduction, data presentation, and verification or conclusion is the assessment data analysis used. The data validity technique is using source triangulation. The conclusions obtained from this study are the fund management strategy in the implementation of the Non-Formal Education Program carried out by PKBM in Ogan Ilir Regency using a public education strategy, competency strategy to government agencies, both central and local governments. relevant to the main task of administering Non-Formal Education.

Abstract

The benefits of online media in physics online learning were investigated using the library research approach. In order to increase student learning motivation, Google Classroom and Zoom Meet were used as learning medium. The usage of Google Classroom and Zoom Meet as learning media effects improving student motivation at SMA Patra Mandiri 01 Palembang, according to research published in relevant journals and articles. In this context, the teaching and learning process can assist students understand the subject matter by generating desire, attractiveness, and motivation, as well as stimulating teaching and learning activities. The teacher's usage of learning media will motivate the students. If the learning media used is engaging, the material will be easier to comprehend, resulting in a more effective and efficient learning process.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the use of Google Classroom in online learning during Covid-19 at SMP Negeri 41 Palembang, to determine the creativity of teachers in teaching using Google Classroom in online learning during Covid-19 at SMP Negeri 41 Palembang, as well as the obstacles experienced by teachers in implementing Google Classroom application for online mathematics learning during Covid-19 at SMP Negeri 41 Palembang. The sample in this study were all teachers at SMP Negeri 41 Palembang. Data collection techniques used are interviews and documentation. Data analysis techniques consist of data reduction, data presentation, and concluding. While checking the validity of the data using source triangulation. The results of the study reveal that: (1) There is an effect of using google classroom in online learning in the Covid-19 Pandemic; (2) The average creativity of teachers in teaching increases even with different methods; (3) The obstacles found in learning to use google classroom are influenced by the lack of communication with students and the internet network that has not been spread evenly.

Abstract

This classroom action research aims to increase students' understanding of concepts in science subjects, namely the material properties of light by applying the demonstration method. This study involved 18 students of Class IV SD Negeri 10 Belida Darat for the 2018/2019 academic year. The research was conducted in 2 cycles and each cycle consisted of 4 activities, namely planning, action, observation, and reflection. The results showed that the class average increased from 53.06 (pre-action) to 64.17 (cycle I) and 72.22 (cycle II). In addition to the increase in class average scores, student learning completeness also increased from 44.44% (pre-cycle) to 66.67% (end of cycle I) and 94.44 (end of cycle II).
