Abstract

Pembelajaran berbasis reciprocal teaching dapat diterapkan sebagai salah satu alternatif untuk meningkatkan kemampuan berpikir kritis dan antusiasme belajar karena memberikan peluang kepada peserta didik untuk mengeksplorasi secara bebas namun terarah terhadap ide-ide melalui strategi-strategi kognitif meliputi: klarifikasi, prediksi, membuat pertanyaan, dan merangkum. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan kemampuan berpikir kritis dan antusiasme belajar matematika peserta didik melalui penerapan pembelajaran berbasis reciprocal teaching. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian tindakan kelas yang dilaksanakan di kelas VIII B SMP Negeri 24 Kota Bengkulu tahun pelajaran 2017/2018 sebanyak 29 orang. Instrumen yang digunakan yaitu: (1) Lembar observasi keterlaksanaan pembelajaran; (2) Tes kemampuan berpikir kritis; (3) Angket antusiasme belajar peserta didik. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa: (1) Terjadi peningkatan persentase keterlaksanaan pembelajaran pada siklus 1 sebesar 28,7% pada pertemuan 1 dan 100% pada pertemuan 2 ke siklus 2 sebesar 100%; (2) Terjadi peningkatan kemampuan berpikir kritis peserta didik dari pra tindakan ketuntasan klasikal 0%, ke siklus 1 ketuntasan klasikal 72, 41%, dan pada akhir siklus 2 ketuntasan klasikal 79,31%; (3) Terjadi peningkatan antusiasme belajar peserta didik yang mulanya 48% pada kriteria tinggi dan 52% kriteria sedang menjadi 20,69% peserta didik kriteria sangat tinggi 62, 07% kriteria tinggi, dan 17, 24 kriteria sedang di akhir siklus 2.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan manajemen, kendala dan solusi kepemimpinan kepala sekolah dalam pembinaan profesionalisme guru di Sekolah Dasar Negeri 12 Betung. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kualitatif deskriptif. Alat pengumpul data menggunakan dokumentasi, wawancara, observasi dan kajian pustaka. Data dianalisis menggunakan teknik analisis kualitatif deskriptif  yang terdiri dari pengumpulan data, reduksi data, penyajian data, penarikan kesimpulan dan verifikasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa (1) manajemen kepemimpinan kepala sekolah dalam pembinaan profesionalisme guru SD Negeri 12 Betung sudah baik ini dapat dilihat dari sisi perencanaan, pengorganisasian, pelaksanaan, evaluasi dan tindak lanjut; (2) kendala yang dihadapi adalah kurangnya informasi, mengandalkan guru tertentu saja, keterbatasan finansial dan kurangnya pengetahuan dalam pembinaan profesionalisme guru; (3) Solusi dari kendala yang dihadapi  adalah melaksanakan pembinaan, mensupervisi, memberikan penugasan dan melaksanakan kegiatan pengembangan diri.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of the principal's leadership style and school organizational culture on teacher performance. The research was conducted at the State Kindergarten in Ogan Ilir Regency. This type of research is descriptive quantitative. The sample in the study was 47 respondents with data collection techniques in the form of a questionnaire (questionnaire). The results showed that: 1) there is an effect of the principal's leadership style on teacher performance, 2) there is an influence of school organizational culture on teacher performance, 3) there is an influence between the principal's leadership style and school organizational culture on teacher performance.

Abstract

This study aims to describe the achievements of character education programs in the implementation of learning activities, extrakurikuler activities, and the application of character education civilization programs at Elementary School 5 Betung Regency of Banyuasin. This study uses the CIPP model (Context, Input, Process, and Product) as a to for evaluating. The method used is this study is descriptive. Data collection in the evaluation process is interview, observation, and document study. The data analysis technique used in this study is data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawing. Sources of data were obtained from headmaster, homerooms, teachers, 5th of A grade students, and 10 represtatives student guardians from grade 5.A. The results of the study show that character education programs have achieved very good results carried out by school residents. At the context stage the average achievement in the very good category, at the input stage in the very good category, at the process stage in the very good category, and at the product stage in the good category.

Abstract

This study aimed to determine the influence of principal leadership of PAUD and teachers’ competence on the performance of PAUD teachers in Sembawa Subdistrict. Data in this study were collected through distributing the questionnaires to respondents. The results of the questionnaire were analyzed by using multiple regression analysis through t-test, F-test, and the coefficient of determination. Population of the study was 87 PAUD teachers in Sembawa Subdistrict. The sample in this study was 57 PAUD teachers in Sembawa sub-district. Research results showed: 1) there was a positive and significant influence of principal leadership of PAUD on teachers’ performance; 2) there was a positive and significant influence of teachers’ competence on teachers’ performance; 3) there was a significant influence simultaneously of principal leadership of PAUD and teachers’ competence on the performance of PAUD teachers in Sembawa sub-district Banyuasin.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui ada tidaknya 1) pengaruh kepemimpinan kepala sekolah terhadap kinerja guru; 2) pengaruh motivasi kerja terhadap kinerja guru; dan 3) pengaruh kepemimpinan kepala sekolah dan motivasi kerja secara bersama sama terhadap kinerja guru. Penelitian ini mengunakan metode kuantatif. Sampel penelitian berjumlah 103 guru SMP Negeri se-Kecamatan Sungai Lilin. Alat pengumpul data berupa kuesioner. Teknik analisis data menggunakan 1) teknik analisis kuntitatif deskriptif; dan 2) regresi berganda. Hasil penelitian menyatakan bahwa 1) terdapat pengaruh yang signifikan antara kepemimpinan kepala sekolah terhadap kinerja guru; 2) terdapat pengaruh yang signifikan antara motivasi kerja terhadap kinerja guru; dan 3) terdapat pengaruh yang signifikan secara bersama-sama antara kepemimpinan kepala sekolah dan motivasi kerja terhadap kinerja guru.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui bagaimanakah keterampilan mengajar guru PAUD Melati Terpadu Desa Parit Kecamatan Indralaya Utara Kabupaten Ogan Ilir. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kualitatif. Subjek penelitian adalah guru PAUD Melati Terpadu Kecamatan Indralaya Utara Kabupaten Ogan Ilir. Pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan wawancara, observasi dan analisis dokumen. Hasil yang diperoleh dalam penelitian ini adalah kemampuan dasar mengajar untuk semua indikator yaitu keterampilan membuka dan menutup pelajaran, keterampilan menjelaskan, keterampilan bertanya, keterampilan memberi penguatan, keterampilan membimbing diskusi kelompok kecil, keterampilan mengelola kelas, keterampilan mengadakan variasi, keterampilan mengajar perorangan dan kelompok kecil untuk guru PAUD Melati Terpadu sudah baik dalam penerapannya.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menguji 1) pengaruh gaya kepemimpinan demokratis kepala sekolah terhadap mutu pembelajaran, 2) pengaruh kompetensi guru terhadap mutu pembelajaran, 3) pengaruh manajemen kelas terhadap mutu pembelajaran, dan 4) pengaruh gaya kepemimpinan demokratis kepala sekolah, kompetensi guru dan manajemen kelas terhadap mutu pembelajaran SMP Negeri di Indralaya Selatan. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kuantitatif. Pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan angket, dan dokumentasi. Data dianalisis secara deskriptif dengan menggunakan program SPSS versi 16 for windows. Dari hasil penelitian dapat disimpulkan bahwa 1) ada pengaruh gaya kepemimpinan demokratis kepala sekolah terhadap mutu pembelajaran, 2) ada pengaruh kompetensi guru terhadap mutu pembelajaran; 3) ada pengaruh manajemen kelas terhadap mutu pembelajaran, dan 4) ada pengaruh gaya kepemimpinan demokratis kepala sekolah, kompetensi guru dan manajemen kelas terhadap mutu pembelajaran.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the description of the Principal's leadership management in SMP Muhammadiyah Prabumulih and has uses in various parties, both from the place of research and the authors themselves. In this study, the population is the principal, vice principal and honorary teacher consisting of 10 people, each of whom has different functions, qualities and characteristics. Collecting research data through three main sources, namely: direct observation (observation) document analysis, and interviews to get the principal's leadership score and the teacher's performance score. The data analysis technique used is descriptive qualitative analysis technique. These results indicate that: (1) the optimal form of leadership is played by the principal's role as a leader, manager, and motivator. (2) the obstacle faced by school principals when carrying out their duties is the performance of honorary work in this school has been running quite well even though some are still lacking discipline in attendance due to various reasons and interests.

Abstract

The objectives of this study were 1) to analyze the effect of the principal's academic supervision on the teaching quality; 2) to analyze the influence of school culture on the teaching quality; 3) to analyze jointly academic supervision of the principal and school culture on the teaching quality. The samples of this study were 47 PNS teachers and 10 non-PNS teachers. Data collection techniques were 1) questionnaire; 2) documentation. The data analysis technique uses the SPSS Version 21 software program application. The results showed that 1) there is significant effect of the principal's academic supervision on the teaching quality; 2) there is a significant effect of school culture on the quality of teaching; 3) there is a significant effect of principal academic supervision and school culture together on the teaching quality of teachers at SMP Negeri 1 Prabumulih.
