Abstract

The phenomenon of education in higher education for students is able to contribute to the aspects of temperament. This is due to various kinds of influences in social life that are currently undergoing many changes. The change in question is an evaluation of learning by integrating character education. Character education can be realized in the regulatory system applied to educational institutions including tertiary institutions. Policy makers have a major contribution as education practitioners, and are also the spearhead of the success of achieving character education for students. This study tries to describe the implementation of learning evaluation of Al-Islam and Kemuhammadiyahan (AIK) courses at the PAI Study Program at the Muhammadiyah University of Tangerang as a reinforcement of character education at Muhammadiyah colleges. The procedure of this research is by observing the activities of lecturers and students when learning takes place then analyzing whether the implementation of evaluation in the faith-based learning is able to foster student character education.

Abstract

The flow of globalization is rolling along with the times. Islamic education has the responsibility of equipping people. Through Islamic education, humans can be directed to good morals, and are open to receive good influence from outside, as well as self-development from within with a foundation of faith and piety to Allah SWT, however, if a negative influence cannot be avoided. Then there will be circles of Muslims who understand Islamic teachings imperfectly, both from the methods and values of education in Islam, which in turn they are oriented to the teachings, methods, values of thought that contrary to Islamic teachings. Therefore, a discussion that explains the characteristics of education in the review of the Qur'an and Sunnah is needed. It is to face the problems faced by Muslims in implementing Islamic education. Which it is by the teachings of Islam comprehensively sourced from the Qur'an, As-Sunnah, and the thought of Islamic scholars. This method has been applied for centuries before Western methods and thought, an education that maintains the originality of Islamic teachings

Abstract

Aqeedah is not just a belief that is in the hearts of men. But aqeedah is essentially a strong belief that is able to encourage a Muslim to want to do or do good deeds. If someone's true and lurius aqidah, then it will be true and straight also the path taken, and vice versa.Aqeedah is a major problem in the teachings of Islam. Because it involves the fundamental beliefs of all deeds. Muslims and non-Muslims can be distinguished from the side of amaliyah or his actions; whether reflecting Muslim's amaliyah or not. What is done is worth the good in the eyes of humans. Departing from this, the writer tries to actualize the urgency of planting aqidah in Islamic education. and  behavior patterns based on pure Islamic aqeedah. Keywords: Urgency, Aqidah Cultivation, Islamic Education

Abstract

Education is the process of transferring knowledge. In the process, it is necessary to design a quality curriculum. In the curriculum, one of the essential things is evaluation. Educators can make evaluations to students in order to obtain information on student development. In the national education system, the state pays great attention to education. The state's attention in education is to hold a national exam to equalize the quality of education in Indonesia. The national standard evaluation system is still changing in terms of terms and technicalities. Recently, computer-based evaluation systems are the latest step and innovation. Especially in the current era of the industrial revolution 4.0, digitization systems are in all aspects of life, including in the world of education. Since 2014, the national standard education evaluation system began using the online examination system. Although in 2014, not all of the schools in Indonesia were able to conduct and access computer-based examinations with the internet network. The program requires sufficient time for socialization and technical preparation. The spirit of revolution 4.0 is marked by building a digitalized national standard evaluation system. Even in response to the development of the Industrial Revolution era 4.0, Indonesia has made innovative breakthroughs in the world of education, namely the Computer Based National Examination (UNBK) system

Abstract

Father's role in children is very important. The child's success is determined by the way the father treats his child. The purpose of this study is to empirically analyze the concepts of fathers and their role in children in an Islamic perspective and measure the level of implementation in the field. Type of descriptive qualitative research with respondents of 500 MAN students in West Jakarta. Data obtained through; observation, questionnaire, and interview. Also from written documents, drawings and literature studies. In this study the author formulates the role of the father into six dimensions, namely the role as; 1) leaders, 2) providers of economic needs, 3) protectors, 4) educators, 5) playmates, 6) friends. The study concluded that father's role in children in Islamic perspective was 44 (%). The highest role as a protector 64 (%), then the economic provider 60.8 (%). The lowest role as a friend is 25.3 (%), then a friend plays 29 (%). Leader's role is 44.7 (%), and as an educator 40.8 (%). The conclusion of the study is that the implementation of the role of fathers in an Islamic perspective is relatively small, and needs further research on their influence on children.

Abstract

Muhammadiyah higher education is a charitable business that has been successfully developed by Muhammadiyah organizations, as a means of preaching Islam to all Indonesian people. With the holding of Al-Islam and Muhammadiyah courses in each PTM, it is hoped that this can realize Muhammadiyah's ideals, namely, upholding and realizing Islam so that the real Islamic community can be realized. This study tries to provide an overview of the spiritual and social piety attitudes of students who have completed AIK courses by empowering the poor. This research is qualitative research, researchers obtain data from literature studies of book sources, journals, scientific papers, as well as the results of interviews and documentation of empowerment activities for the poor. The results of research on the implementation of spiritual and social piety in Al-Islam and Muhammadiyah subjects include fostering an attitude of being able to read the Koran and its translation, fostering the spirit of practicing the Koran in everyday life, and fostering empathy or caring to others.

Abstract

Learning activities during the Covid-19 pandemic have changed the paradigm of education and require all parties to change the learning system using online media. This includes assessment activities for students. Therefore it is necessary to have an alternative assessment model that supports a good and effective online learning process, both for educators and students. This study seeks to provide an overview of alternative forms of assessment and evaluation that can be used as a model for educators in assessing and evaluating student learning outcomes during the Covid-19 pandemic that hit Indonesia. This research is a type of qualitative research. Researchers obtained data from the results of literature studies from various books, journals, scientific papers, and also other documents that examine assessment and evaluation of learning, both in general and specifically examining the assessment and evaluation of online learning. The results of this study are several forms of assessment models that can be applied in the online learning process, including online-based assessment, portfolio assessment, and character assessment.

Abstract

This research is aims to improve learning outcomes in Islamic Relegious Education subject by using Project Based Learning (PjBL) model. This type of research is qualitative with a descriptive-analytic approach. The results of this study indicate that; (1) Implementation of Project Based Learning (PjBL): The first stage is designing learning which includes studying the syllabus, identifying learning materials, determining learning objectives, determining learning strategies and learning methods, determining learning media and resources, and preparing learning instruments. The second stage is the implementation of learning based on plans that have been made previously. The learning runs smoothly with the Project Based Learning (PjBL) steps, which are fundamental questions, compiling a project plan, compiling a schedule, monitoring, testing results, and ending the evaluation of experiences. (2) The results of the application of Project Based Learning (PjBL) are to improve student learning outcomes in the subject of Islamic Religious Education, increase student enthusiasm in learning, increase student interest in learning, train students to think critically, be active, responsible, dare to express opinions, and students can respect the opinions of others. Students are trained to be confident and polite towards older people or adults, besides that students are trained to contextualize the knowledge they have. (3) the obstacle faced is the lack of student activity, because students still seem shy and lack self-confidence.
