Abstract

This quasi-experimental research in education aims to determine the effect of Problem Based Learning models on motivation and learning outcomes of Battery Maintenance in class X TKR, SMK Negeri 1 Cangkringan in the academic year 2018/2019. The data were taken using a questionnaire and tests. The subjects of this study were 64 students consisting of 32 control class students and 32 experimental class students. Hypothesis testing in this study uses t-test between groups. T-test between groups was used to determine differences in learning motivation of the experimental class and control class after being treated, to find out the difference of learning outcomes in experimental class and control class after being given treatment. The results showed that the learning motivation of the experimental class with Problem Based Learning model was higher than the control class with the lecture method and the learning outcomes of the experimental class with the Problem Based Learning model were not higher than the control class with the lecture method on the Battery Maintenance material in class X TKR SMK Negeri 1 Cangkringan, academic year 2018/2019.

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini adalah: (1) mengetahui implementasi program Sekolah Sub T-TEP Toyota di SMK Negeri 2 Pengasih; (2) mengetahui efektivitas program pembelajaran Sekolah Sub T-TEP Toyota di SMK Negeri 2 Pengasih ditinjau dari hasil pembelajaran siswa; (3) mengetahui faktor-faktor apa saja yang mendukung dan menghambat dalam kerjasama program Sekolah Sub T-TEP Toyota di SMK Negeri 2 Pengasih. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian deskriptif dengan pemilihan subjek penelitian menggunakan teknik purposive sampling. Metode pengumpulan data dengan menggunakan wawancara, observasi, dokumentasi, dan angket tertutup. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa: (1) implementasi program kemitraan antara SMK Negeri 2 Pengasih dengan PT. Toyota Astra Motor diketahui telah berjalan dan terlaksana. Keempat aspek program yaitu implementasi kurikulum, pelatihan guru, kerjasama industri dalam pelaksanaan praktik kerja industri siswa, dan kerjasama donasi alat dan peralatan diketahui sudah terlaksana. Hasil penelitian menunjukan 15 indikator program dalam kategori sesuai, 3 indikator dalam kategori sangat sesuai dan 2 indikator kurang sesuai; (2) program pembelajaran Sekolah Sub T-TEP Toyota diketahui belum berhasil dan efektif, dikarenakan persentase ketuntasan belajar kelas XII TKR 1 dan 2 hanya sebesar 48,39% dan 25,00%; (3) faktor pendukung dalam pelaksanaan program yaitu adanya dukungan dari pemerintah, komitmen, antusiasme, sarana dan prasarana sekolah yang memadai serta kualitas SDM siswa yang bagus, sedangkan faktor penghambatnya adalah pemahaman serta keterampilan guru yang belum 100% menguasai teknologi Toyota, keterbatasan dalam transfer teknologi serta keterbatasan biaya.

Abstract

This research aims to increase student learning outcomes of class XI TKR 3 in the PMKR at SMK N 2 Yogyakarta through the application of the cooperative learning model type Student Teams Achievement Division (STAD). This research is Classroom Action Research (CAR). The research carried out in 2 cycles where each cycle was 1 times meeting. The research subject were student of class XII TKR 3 on the Pemeliharaan Mesin Kendaraan Ringan (PMKR) subjects in thr 2019/2020 academic year with a total of 31 students. Data collection is done by test and observation. Data processing is done quantitatively by seeing the implemetation of the cooperative learning model type Student Teams Achievement Division (STAD) and learning outcomes. The succes criteria determined are minimum 75% of students have reached the Minimum Completion Criteria (MCC) wich is a minimum value of 76,00. The result of this research) is able to increase the learning outcomes of students in class XI TKR 3 in PMKR subjects at SMK N 2 Yogyakarta. Average student learning outcomes increased from data before the action 59,58 to 88,52 in cycle 2. When looking at completeness from the initial data the precentage of students completeness 3,20% increased to 90,30%.

Abstract

This study aimed to determine:  1) The level of safety riding for students of Mechanical Engineering Education; and 2) The level of eco riding for students of Mechanical Engineering Education. The type of research used is descriptive. The research population was all students of Mechanical Engineering Education at The Faculty of Teacher Training and Education at Universitas Sarjanawiyata Tamansiswa. The sample was taken using the Stratified random sampling technique which found 199 students. The instrument used is a multiple choice test to measure the level of safety riding and the level of eco riding. The data analysis technique uses descriptive statistics. The result results showed that: 1) The level of safety riding for students of Mechanical Engineering Education was categorized very hight with an average value of 24,78; and 2) 1) The level of eco riding for students of Mechanical Engineering Education was categorized very hight with an average value of 6,85.

Abstract

This research aims to increase students learning outcomes of class XI TKR 4 in the PKKR at SMK N 2 Yogyakarta through the application of the Problem Based Learning model. The types of this research are Classroom Action Research (CAR). The research data retrieval is on January 7, 2019 until February 9, 2019 at SMK N 2 Yogyakarta. The research was carried out in 2 cycles where each cycle was 2 times meeting. The research subjects were students of class XI TKR 4 on the Pemeliharaan Kelistrikan Kendaraan Ringan (PKKR) subjects in the 2018/2019 academic year with a total of 21 students. Data collection is done by test, observation, and documentation. Data processing is done quantitatively by seeing the implementation of the Problem Based Learning (PBL) model and learning outcomes in each cycle. The success criteria determined are minimum 80% of students have reached the Minimum Completion Criteria (KKM) which is a minimum value of 76.00. The results of this research showed that the application of the Problem Based Learning (PBL) model is able to increase the learning outcomes of students in class XI TKR 4 in PKKR subjects at SMK N 2 Yogyakarta. The percentage of student who achieve KKM increase to 66.67% in the first cycle and 85.71% in the second cycle.

Abstract

The purpose this research to determine the effect of the use of the Snowball Throwing learning model and the Problem Based Learning (PBL) learning model on student achievement, and determine the effect of using the Snowball Throwing learning model and Problem Based Learning (PBL) learning model on student motivation. Data collection techniques used in this study were using tests and questionnaires. The instrument validation test uses construct validation and content validation is conducted by the thesis supervisor. The results showed that the first research hypothesis stated Ha was accepted and Ho was rejected. The average value of PBL class learning achievement is 78.34 and Snowball Throwing class is 83.61. Thus the Snowball Throwing learning model has a positive effect on student achievement. For the second research hypothesis states Ha is rejected and Ho is accepted. Thus the Snowball Throwing learning model does not have a positive effect on the level of student motivation. The average value of PBL class learning motivation level is 75.40 and Snowball Throwing class is 72.68.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk, (1) Mengetahui peningkatan daya mesin sepeda motor 4 langkah dengan sistem bahan bakar karburator setelah dimodifikasi, (a) volume mesin (cc); (b) perbandingan kompresi mesin; (c) mekanikal katup; (d) sistem pemasukan (intake); (e) sistem pembuangan (exhaust); (2) Mengetahui emisi gas buang mesin setelah dimodifikasi apakah masih masuk dalam ambang batas emisi yang ditetapkan pemerintah. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian research and development. Subjek penelitian ini adalah mesin sepeda motor 4 langkah dengan sistem bahan bakar karburator. Alat yang digunakan untuk mengumpulkan data adalah dynotest dan exhaust gas analyzer. Data hasil pengujian dianalisis dengan statistik diskriptif berupa rata-rata dan persentase (%) serta regresi sederhana. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan, (1) Daya mesin meningkat sebesar 151 % dari 5,8 HP/6063 rpm menjadi 14,6 HP/10.171 rpm; (2) Emisi gas buang mesin setelah modifikasi masih masuk dalam ambang batas emisi yang ditetapkan pemerintah yakni HC 815 ppm dan CO 3.306 % dengan ambang batas HC  2400 ppm dan CO 5.5 %.Kata Kunci: Modifikasi, Daya, Emisi

Abstract

This study aims to find out: (1) the implementation of 2013 curriculum in PSPTKR practice planning at Muhammadiyah 1 Bantul Vocational School, (2) the implementation of 2013 curriculum in learning activity of PSPTKR practice at Muhammadiyah 1 Bantul Vocational School, (3) and the 2013 curriculum implementation in learning assessment of PSPTKR practice at Muhammadiyah 1 Bantul Vocational School. This study involved 5 PSPTKR subject teachers and all TKR XI grade students as research subjects. Data taken by questionnaires and interviews. Conclusions obtained from the results of two methods and interpreted according to the indicator criteria. The results showed that the implementation of the 2013 Curriculum on aspects of learning planning was included in the fully implemented category with a percentage of 86.35%. However, there are still weaknesess in the implementation of the 2013 curriculum because teachers have not been maximal in applying the RPP principles. In the aspect of learning implementation, the implementation of the 2013 curriculum was included in the fully implemented category with a percentage of 86.92%, but there were still weaknesses in teacher interactions that were less supportive of student activity and active participation. In the aspect of learning assessment, the implementation of the 2013 Curriculum was included in the fully implemented category with a percentage of 81.43%. However, there are still weaknesses in implementing learning assessment because the teacher has not been maximal in using a variety of assessment methods.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan keaktifan dan hasil belajar siswa kelas X TKR A di SMK Nasional Berbah pada mata pelajaran Pekerjaan Dasar Teknik Otomotif melalui implementasi model pembelajaran ARCS. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian tindakan kelas, dengan menggunakan model Kemmis dan Mc. Taggart. Subjek penelitian adalah siswa kelas X TKR A di SMK Nasional Berbah tahun ajaran 2019/2020. Pengambilan data dilakukan melalui lembar observasi untuk mengetahui keaktifan siswa dengan jenis numerical rating scale dengan aspek indikator berupa keberanian peserta didik bertanya, keberanian peserta didik untuk menjawab pertanyaan/mengungkapkan pendapat, interaksipeserta didik dengan guru dan kelompok, perhatian peserta didik selama prosespembelajaran, serta tes evaluasi untuk mengetahui tingkat hasil belajar siswa. Model pembelajaran ARCS dikatakan berhasil meningkatkan keaktifan dan hasil belajar apabila persentase keaktifan mencapai 65 % dan sebanyak 75 % siswa telah tuntas KKM yaitu hasil belajar minimal 75. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa: 1) implementasi model pembelajaran ARCS pada proses pembelajaran meningkatkan keaktifan siswa kelas X TKR A di SMK Nasional Berbah. Hal ini ditunjukkan dengan keaktifan belajar siswa pada siklus I 55,60 % meningkat pada siklus II sebesar 73,71 %. 2) Implementasi model pembelajaranARCS mampu meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa. Hal ini ditunjukkan dengan nilai rata-rata pada siklus I sebesar 57,5 meingkat pada siklus II dengan rata-rata kelasnya sebesar 75. dengan persentase ketuntasan akhir sebesar 82 % dan persentase keaktifan mencapai 73,71 % di siklus II. Dengan demikian telah mencapai indikator keberhasilan yang ditentukan.

Abstract

Based on the low participation of the student during the classroom activities, this study aimed to improve students’ participation and academic achievement on Mathematics. The procedures of this study consisted of planning, implementation, observation, and reflection. There were 24 students of Class XI KR 3 SMK N 3 Yogyakarta 2013/2014 participated in this study. Data were obtained through observation sheets, student worksheets, test, and notes. This study implemented a Cooperative learning model action at Two Stay Two Stray. The students were divided into 6 groups (each group consisted 4 students). The results revealed that (1) the students who actively participated in the classroom activities are 77.08%; (2) the students who passed the test 77.35%, and (3) the students who passed the minimum criteria for the study are 87.5%. It can be concluded that implementing Cooperative Learning, Two Stay Two Stray model, is effective to enhance students’ participation and academic achievement in mathematics.
