Abstract

Bahan ajar merupakan salah satu komponen terpenting yang harus ada didalam proses pembelajaran. Salah satu bahan ajar yang dapat digunakan yaitu lembar kerja siswa. LKS merupakan salah satu bahan ajar yang digunakan oleh pendidik dalam proses belajar-mengajar dengan bentuk bahan ajar yang lebih praktis, menarik, serta mempermudah peserta didik dalam menerima materi. LKS yang dikembangkan merupakan LKS berbasis etnomatematika dengan konteks rumah tembakau pada materi transformasi geometri kelas XI. Prosedur pengembangan yang digunakan mengikuti model pengembangan ADDIE (Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, Evaluation). Penelitian ini disesuaikan dengan keadaan masa pandemi, sehingga penelitian hanya menggunakan uji validasi ahli dan kepraktisan. Ahli yang digunakan adalah ahli materi, ahli desain, dan ahli pendidikan matematika. Didapat rata-rata kevalidan 85.6% dengan kriteria sangat valid. Untuk kepraktisan diperoleh rata-rata kepraktisan 83.2% dengan kriteria sangat praktis. Kata Kunci: Etnomatematika, LKS, Pengembangan Teaching materials is one of the most important components that should appear in the learning process. One of teaching materials that can be used is student worksheet. Student worksheet is one of teaching materials used by educator in the learning process with a more practical teaching materials, interesting, and simplify students to receive material. Student worksheet that were developed is student worksheet based etnomathematic to the context tobacco house to the matter transformation geometry class XI. Procedure the development of which used follow model of ADDIE (Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, Evaluation). This research adapted to the state of the pandemic, so research using only the validation experts and practicality. The experts are the matter, the design, aand the math education. Obtained the average validation 85.6% with perfectly valid criteria. Redard for practicality obtained the average 83.2% with very practical criteria. Kata Kunci: Development, Ethnomathematics, Student Worksheet.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan bahan ajar e-modul biologi menggunakan aplikasi 3D pageflip professional pada materi sel. Untuk melihat respon guru dan peserta didik terhadap bahan ajar e-modul dengan menggunakan aplikasi 3D pageflip professional pada materi sel. Penelitian ini merupakan jenis penelitian pengembangan (Research and Development) dengan mengacu pada model pengembangan 4D dari Thiagarajan, namun pada penelitian ini hanya dilakukan sampai tahap 3D yang meliputi (1) Define, (2) Design, dan (3) Develop. Subjek penelitian ini meliputi 1 dosen ahli media, 1 dosen ahli materi, 1 guru mata pelajaran biologi, dan siswa kelas XI IPA SMAN 4 Pandeglang. Instrumen yang digunakan untuk menilai kelayakan e-modul ini meliputi lembar penilaian kelayakan oleh ahli media, lembar penilaian kelayakan oleh ahli materi, angket respon guru dan angket respon siswa terhadap penggunaan e-modul. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa (1) modul yang dikembangkan adalah E-modul Biologi Sebagai Bahan Ajar Pada Materi Sel, (2) e-modul dinyatakan layak digunakan sebagai bahan ajar dengan perolehan presentase skor 74% dari ahli materi, 80% dari ahli media, 91% dari guru mata pelajaran biologi dan 83,5% dari respon siswa sebagai pengguna e-modul, sehingga e-modul yang dikembangkan termasuk ke dalam kategori layak. Abstract

Abstrak Selama ini siswa mengalami kesulitan dalam menghitung perkalian. Tak sedikit siswa yang membutuhkan waktu lama untuk menghitung hasil perkalian tersebut. Penggunaan jarimatika berbasis role play dapat membantu siswa yang mengalami kesulitan dalam proses pembeajaran, terutama dalam kegiatan menghitung. Penggunaan metode jarimatika berbasis role play bertujuan untuk mengetahui peningkatan hasil belajar matematika materi perkalian menggunakan metode jarimatika berbasis role play pada siswa kelas II SDN Kesongo 01 Tuntang Semarang Tahun Pelajaran 2017/2018. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian tindakan kelas (PTK) yang menggunakan metode pengumpulan data yaitu tes, observasi, serta dokumentasi. Analisis data yang dilakukan dengan cara membandingkan nilai hasil belajar setiap siklus yang berpatokan pada KKM SDN Kesongo 01 yaitu 75 dengan Ketuntasan Klasikal 85%. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa penerapan metode jarimatika berbasis role play dapat meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa. Hal ini dapat dibuktikan dari hasil pra siklus, rata-rata siswa mulai 64 menjadi 63,33 dan di siklus 2 meningkat menjadi 92,08. Dari pra siklus ke sikus I presentase ketuntasan siswa meningkat dari 25% menuju 37,5% dan di siklus II lebih meningkat lagi menjadi 95,83%. Dapat disimpulkan bahwa metode jarimatika berbasis role play dapat meningkatkan hasil belajar pelajaran matematika. Selain pengetahuan siswa yang meningkat, keaktifan, kerja sama dan rasa tanggung jawab mereka juga meningkat. AbstractThe students had difficulty in counting multiplication .Not a few students who have taken a long time to count the result of .The use of jarimatika based role play can help students who have trouble in the process pembeajaran , especially in the count .Usage method of jarimatika based role play aims to review the matter of mathematics in a jarimatika based role play at the class ii sdn kesongo tuntang semarang 01 a year 2017 / 2018 .The research is the class action ( PTK ) data collection method that uses the test , observation , as well as documentation . An analysis of the data done by means of any study results compare in value the related to the kkm SDN Kesongo 01 ketuntasan klasikal 75 to 85%. This research result indicates that the implementation of a method based jarimatika role play can improve learning outcomes students.It is demonstrable from the cycle, pre student average from 64 63,33 and 2 to the increased to 92,08.Of the the percentage to pre i sikus ketuntasan students increased from 25 % to 37,5 % and cycle increase to 95,83 %.It can be concluded that method based jarimatika role play can improve learning outcomes math. Students that rises, besides knowledge liveliness, cooperation and a sense of responsibility they also increase.

Abstract

Abstrak Abstrak Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangakan dan mengetahui kelayakan instrumen asesmen critical thinking skill pada materi sistem ekskresi. Penelitian pengembangan ini menggunakan pemodelan Dick and Carey dengan 7 tahapan, yaitu: (1) identifikasi tujuan, (2) analisis instruksional, (3) analisis siswa dan lingkungan, (4) menuliskan tujuan khusus pembelajaran, (5) pengembangan instrumen penilaian, (6) melaksanakan evaluasi formatif, dan (7) revisi. Teknik pengumpulan data dengan menggunakan wawancara, studi dokumentasi, angket penilaian kelayakan, dan uji coba skala kecil. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa asesmen critical thinking skill pada materi sistem ekskresi ini memenuhi kriteria kelayakan karena memperoleh penilaian oleh validator dan guru biologi sebesar 87,1% (Sangat Layak) dan analisis data kuantitatif menggunakan software ANATES terdiri dari, (1) Validitas, soal pilihan ganda valid berjumlah 13 (65%), dan tidak valid 7 butir (35%), sedangkan pada soal uraian valid berjumlah 7 butir (70%) dan tidak vailid 3 butir (30%), (2) Reliabilitas soal pilihan ganda sebesar 0,84 dan soal uraian sebesar 0,86, (3) Tingkat Kesukaran, soal pilihan ganda yang tergolong sukar berjumlah 4 butir (20%), sedang 12 butir (60%), dan mudah 4 butir (20%), sedangkan soal uraian seluruh butir soal sebanyak 10 (100%) tergolong sedang, (4) Daya Pembeda, soal pilihan ganda sangat baik 17 butir (85%) dan kurang baik 3 butir (15%), sedangkan pada uraian sangat baik 6 butir (60%) dan kurang baik 4 butir (40%), (5) Efektivitas Pengecoh, Butir soal dengan Efektivitas Pengecoh sangat baik 12 butir (15%), baik 11 butir (14%), kurang baik 2 butir (2,5%), jelek 45 butir (56%), dan sangat jelek 10 butir (12,5%). Abstract This study aimed to develop and determine the feasibility of assessment instrument critical thinking skills on excretory system material. This development research used Dick and Carey model. The technique for collecting the data by using interviews, documentation studies, multiple-choice and essay questions, feasibility assessment questionnaires, and small-scale trials. The results of assessment critical thinking skills on excretory system material was fulfilled criteria of feasibility, because the average results of the validation is 87,1% (very feasible) and quantitative analysis by ANATES is, (1) Validity, valid multiple-choice questions are 13 items (65%) and 7 items are invalid (35%), valid essay questions are 7 item (70%) and invalid 3 item (30%), (2) Reliability, multiple choice questions have a reliability coefficient of 0,84 and the essay questions is 0,86, (3) Difficulty level, multiple choice questions that are classified as difficult amounted to 4 items (20%), moderate were 12 items (60%), and easy 4 items (20%) and for essay questions the total number of questions is 10 (100%) was moderate, (4) Item discrimination multiple-choice questions, items with very good are 17 items (85%) and poorly 3 items (15%), and for essay question items with very good are 6 items (60%) and poorly 4 items (40%), (5) Distracter Effectiveness, items with very good are 12 items (15%), the good ones are 11 items (14%), the poorly ones are 2 items (2,5%), the bad ones are 45 items (56%), and the very bad ones are 10 items (12,5%).

Abstract

Abstrak Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangan modul pembelajaran IPA berbasis socio scientific issues (SSI) pada materi sistem pernapasan manusia untuk siswa kelas VIII SMP yang layak dan praktis digunakan setelah divalidasi oleh beberapa ahli dan responden (guru dan siswa). Metode penelitian yang digunakan model pengembangan Borg and Gall yang terdiri dari 10 tahapan, namun dalam penelitian ini disederhanakan menjadi 8 tahapan karena keterbatasan waktu dan biaya. Langkah penelitian tersebut meliputi produksi masal potensi dan masalah, pengumpulan informasi, desain produk, validasi desain, revisi desain, uji coba produk kelompok terbatas, revisi produk, produk akhir. Penelitian ini dibatasi pada tahap uji coba produk kelompok terbatas yaitu kelayakan dan kepraktisan modul. Instumen yang digunakan adalah angket untuk kelayakan modul dan angket respon siswa dan guru untuk menguji kepraktisan modul. Subjek penelitian ini adalah 3 dosen yang terdiri atas dosen ahli materi, ahli bahasa, ahli media, serta 10 orang siswa kelas VIII SMP Negeri 11 Bengkulu Tengah beserta 1 orang guru IPA kelas VIII. Data hasil analisis angket dengan menghitung persentase pencapaian kriteria kelayakan dan kepraktisan modul pembelajaran IPA berbasis berbasis socio scientific issues (SSI) pada materi sistem pernapasan manusiayang dikembangkan menurut validator dinyatakan sangat layak dengan presentase ahli bahasa 94,66 % (sangat layak), ahli materi 91,7% (sangat layak), dan ahli media/desain 97,7% (sangat layak). Hasil responden siswa terhadap bahan ajar modul dengan presentase 82,87 % (sangat praktis), hasil responden guru menunjukkan presntase 73,71 % (praktis). Berdasarkan hasil data tersebut dapat disimpulkan bahwa modul sangat layak dan praktis digunakan sebagai bahan ajar dalam menunjang proses belajar mengajar pada materi sistem pernapasan manusia untuk siswa kelas VIII SMP. Abstract This study aims to develop a science learning module based on socio scientific issues (SSI) on the human respiratory system theme for 7th grades of Junior High School (SMP) students that is feasible and practical to use after being validated by several experts and respondents (teachers and students). The research method used was the Borg and Gall development model which consisted of 10 stages, but in this study it was simplified into 8 stages due to time and cost limitations. The research steps include mass production of potentials and problems, information gathering, product design, design validation, design revision, limited group product trials, product revisions, and final products. This research is limited to the product trial phase of a limited group, namely the feasibility and practicality of the module. The instrument used is a questionnaire for the feasibility of the module and a student and teacher response questionnaire to test the practicality of the module. The subjects of this study were 3 lecturers consisting of material expert lecturers, linguists, media experts, and 10 7th grades students of SMP Negeri 11 Bengkulu Tengah along with 1 science teacher for 7th grades. The data from the questionnaire analysis by calculating the percentage of achievement of the eligibility criteria and the practicality of the science learning module based on socio scientific issues (SSI) on the human respiratory system material developed according to the validator was declared very feasible with the percentage of linguists 94.66% (very feasible), material experts 91 .7% (very decent), and media/design experts 97.7% (very decent). The results of student respondents to module teaching materials with a percentage of 82.87% (very practical), the results of teacher respondents showed a percentage of 73.71% (practical). Based on the results of these data, it can be concluded that the module is very feasible and practical to use as teaching materials in supporting the teaching and learning process on the human respiratory system material for 7th grades SMP students.

Abstract

This study has purposes which to determine the development of creative thinking assessments on the topic of the interaction between living things and their environment and to describe the feasibility and effectiveness of developing creative thinking assessments on the topic of the interaction between living things and their environment. The type of research used is Research and Development with a quantitative approach. The results showed that the development of creative thinking assessment on the topic of the interaction living things and their environment using the Borg and Gall development model which consists of eight steps, and the feasibility of this development product was tested by 3 lecturers, namely: 1 lecturer as an assessment expert, 1 lecturer as language, and 1 material expert. Based on the results of the validation assessment, feasibility of assessment was 81.5%, language validation was 88.8%, and content validation was 94.4%. Furthermore, it can be concluded that the development of creative thinking assessment on the topic of the interaction of living things and their environment is included in the criteria that are very suitable to be used without any revision.

Abstract

This study uses a quantitative approach, hypothesis testing through chi-square distribution by applying the goodness of fit testing method. The goodness of fit test is also called the goodness of fit test. In a real sense, the goodness of fit test is a hypothesis testing by comparing the observed frequency with the expected frequency. Regarding the goodness of fit of a frequency distribution of observations, the calculation is based on the average value and the frequency of observations. Furthermore, hypothesis testing is carried out to determine whether the frequency distribution of the observed results is in accordance with the expected frequency distribution. Based on the goodness of fit testing procedure that uses the chi-square distribution, it can be concluded that there are differences in the preferences of Vocational High School (SMK) students towards the main mathematics variants. Students do not perceive that all major areas of mathematics are the same. It is possible that certain fields in the fields of mathematics contain material that students find difficult, so students prefer other fields that students tend to master or are easier.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to analyze the effect of using web-based educational games on student learning outcomes on the immune system topic. This study uses Quasi Experiment method with a non-equivalent control group design. Data analysis technique using normality test, homogeneity test, and hypothesis testing in the form of t-test. The results showed that web-based educational games affected student learning outcomes in immune system topics at SMAN 3 Purwakarta. This finding is proved by the acquisition of the results of the t-test with a significance level of 5%, the value of t-count > t-table = 2.43 > 2.01. The score of learning outcomes on immune system topic in the experimental class is greater than that of the control class, namely the experimental class gets an average score of 78 while the control class gets an average score of 69.4. Therefore, it can be concluded that the use of web-based educational games has a positive effect on improving student learning outcomes on immune system topic.

Abstract

This study aims to describe the validity and responses of students to the natural science module with the STEM approach in the sub-material of liquid pressure. The research model uses a 4D model developed by Thiagarajan (define, design, develop and disseminate) but this study only reached the development stage. The development of the science module was validated by material expert validators, media experts, and user experts (teachers) with an average percentage of 93.63% with a very valid category. The results of the small-scale student response test of 86.1% to determine the readability of the media, then the large-scale test obtained 86.74 %, thus this science module is categorized as very interesting. This module contains sub-materials of fluid pressure consisting of hydrostatic pressure, Archimedes' law, and Pascal's law. In each material, there are illustrations to support the depth of the materials.

Abstract

The contextual approach to learning biology emphasizes understanding concepts related to phenomena that occurred around them. Moreover, environmental pollution material needs real examples to understand students about the material. This study aims to describe the process of development and validity of adobe flash CS6 professional-based learning media using a contextual teaching and learning (CTL) approach to environmental pollution material for class X at MAN 1 Pasuruan. This type of Research and Development (R&D) uses ADDIE model. The results of product validation from material experts, media experts, and biology teachers was 95.82%. This result indicates that the developed media is valid and could be used as a biology learning medium
