Abstract

This study aims to improve learning motivation and achievement of learning history in Indonesia through the Group Investigation method in class X TKR 2 students of SMK Negeri 2 Baubau in 2018/2019 Academic Year This research was conducted in class X TKR 2 SMK Negeri 2 Baubau in 2018/2019 Academic Year with 32 students consisting of 27 male students and 5 female students. This research is a class action research (CAR) with the steps of the activities including planning, action, observation, analysis and reflection which is one cycle, this research was conducted in 2 cycles. Data collection techniques are done using observations/observations, questionnaires and tests. The data analysis technique used is quantitative description and qualitative description by comparing initial conditions with conditions at the end of each cycle. The results showed that the learning process using the Group Investigation method can improve learning motivation and achievement of learning outcomes in Indonesian History. In the Pre cycle the motivation to learn the history of Indonesia an average of 25.88 or 49.76% and the achievement of student learning outcomes that achieve complete value. KKM (Minimum completeness criteria) 2.67 are 10 students (31.3%) and students whose grades are not yet completed <KKM (Minimum completeness criteria) there are 22 students (68.7%), in the first cycle learning motivation of Indonesian history increased to an average of 36.53 or 70.25% and student achievement that achieves grades. KKM (Minimum completeness criteria) increased to 17 students (53.1%), while students who have not completed <KKM (Minimum completeness criteria) there were 15 students (46.9%) while in the second cycle there was a significant increase namely historical learning motivation Indonesia has an average of 40.19 or 77.28% and student achievement is achieving grades. KKM (Minimum completeness criteria) 2.67 increased to 29 students (90.6%) while students who have not completed or <KKM (Minimum completeness criteria) 2.67 there are 3 students (9.3%).

Abstract

The aim of this research is to describe the influence of Student Teams Achievement Division (STAD) learning model implementation to the activity and Chemistry learning result of students on redox subject matter in the grade X TKJ at SMK Negeri 2 Baubau in academic year 2018/2019. This research ordered to the type of quasi experiment research. Research instrument are observation sheet to know student’s activity and test that are pretest and post test to get student learning result data. Data analysis technique that used in this research is one way anova test. Research result shows that there is an influence of Student Teams Achievement Divisions (STAD) learning model implementation to the activity and Chemistry learning result of students on redox subject matter in the grade X TKJ at SMK Negeri 2 Baubau.

Abstract

Problems in this research are how is (1) learning motivation of grade XI TKR students at SMK Negeri 2 Baubau taught by using cooperative learning model of STAD type, (2)the learning outcomes of grade XI TKR student at SMK Negeri 2 Baubau taught by using cooperative learning model of STAD type, (3) the influence of cooperative learning model of STAD type toward learning motivation of grade XI TKR student at SMK Negeri 2 Baubau, (4) the influence of cooperative learning model of STAD type toward learning outcomes of grade XI TKR student at SMK Negeri 2 Baubau. The reseacrh used quasy experimental design. Research population are the entire students of grade XI TKR of second semester at SMK Negeri 2 Baubau, academic year 2018/2019. The sample are students of grade XI TKR 1 and grade XI TKR 2 consisted of 61 students. Samples chosen through simple random sampling technique. Data obtained by using questionnaire and test. The research result revealed that (1) student’s learning motivation in the control class after the treatment is 90.90 and in very high categories, while in experiment class is 104.16 and in very high categories; (2) students learning outcomes in control class after the treatment is 74.24 and in very high categories,while in experiment class is 83.84and in very high categories; (3) the implementation of cooperative learning model of STAD type give positive influence toward learning motivation and learning outcomes of grade XI TKR students at SMK Negeri 2 Baubau.

Abstract

Character education is a conscious effort to instill and shape good values in individuals or society through the habit to form good personality and good character. Islamic boarding schools in this case are educational institutions whose role is undoubtedly inshaping the character and character of the nation. This study aims to determine how the implementation of character education values in Islamic boarding school Al-Shaykh abdul wahid, what character values are implanted and how the impac to finstilling the secharacter values on students. This study uses qualitative methods, a type of case study with a single case design. Qualitative research was chosen to describe and analyze phenomena, events, learning activities at the research location. The research findings show: (1) Implementation of character education in Islamic boarding schools Al-Shaykh Abdul Wahid is carried out through three stages of activities, namely: through teaching and learning activities (KBM), extra curricular activities, and religious activities of students carried out in the formof programs daily, weekly, monthly, and yearly, (2) Character values that are instilled in Islamic boarding school Al-Shaykh Abdul Wahid's are: religious character, independent character, discipline character and social care character implemented in santri life., (2) The implications of character education in islamic boarding school Al-Shaykh abdul wahid indicate an increase in santri awareness in obeying the rules of the cottage as well as growing independence and responsibility in completing the tasksgiven.

Abstract

This study to determine whether through cooperative learning Student Teams Achievement Divisions (STAD) methods can improve the capability technique of forearm pass the game of volleyball. The method used to answer the purpose of research methods the study used class-room action research or action research. The subjects were students of SMK Negeri 2 Baubau X TKJ 3 class totaling 32 students, including 25 boys and 7 girls. The results suggest the application of cooperative learning methods Student Teams Achievement Divisions ( STAD ) can increase the average activity score of teachers and students, the observation of students forearm pass technique and skills student to forearm pass. Cycle I mean teacher activity score of 6.5, the criteria to be increased in Cycle II with an average of 10 , criteria very well. Activities students first cycle an average score of 6.5, the criteria to be increased in Cycle II to 9.5, both criteria. Average scores below passing observation technique has increased, I cycle an average score of 9.25 observations, sufficient criteria, increases in Cycle II to 13.53, both criteria. For the values of students forearm pass, the first cycle by girls with an average number of 51.42, enough criteria, and boys student 52.80, sufficient criteria. In Cycle II score below passing skills increased, for by girls with an average 65.71, both criteria, and the boys student of 67.80, both criteria.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the application of mind mapping models in social studies learning for fourth grade students of SD Negeri 2 Winning, Buton Regency. This research is a type of classroom action research because researchers act directly in research. The research subjects were students in grade IV SDN 2 Winning in Buton Regency with a total of 25 students consisting of 11 male students and 14 female students. Data collection techniques using tests and observations. The research instrument used observation sheets and test questions or evaluation of learning outcomes. The data analysis technique was done in quantitative descriptive and qualitative descriptive. The results showed that before the application of the mind mapping learning model in social studies learning, obtained as many as 5 students (20%) completed and 20 students (80%) had not yet completed and the average grade of 60%. But after learning by applying mind mapping models in cycles I and II obtained data that student learning outcomes improved. The learning outcomes of the first cycle stated that as many as 13 students (52%) had finished and 12 students (48%) had not yet completed and the average grade of 70.24%. Then the results of the second cycle test showed that 22 students (88%) had finished and 3 students (12%) had not yet completed and the average grade of 81.44%. With the increase that occurs in students who have reached 88%, it is stated that the standard of success has reached 75% and is complete.

Abstract

Problem in this researchare how is the application of problem based learning modelin improving student’s interest and achievement in learning history atgrade XI TKJ 1 SMK Negeri 2 Baubau. This research used classroom action research which is consisted of three cycles. Each cyclesconducted in four stages: planning,action, observation and reflection. The failure in the cycle will becorrected in the next cycle. Subject of the research is grade XIstudents of TKJ 1 SMK Negeri 2 Baubau. The data collection technique which is used in this research is the triangulation resource and method. Analysis data which is used in this method is the analysis of qualitative and quantitative method.After problem based learning model has been applied in SMK Negeri 2 Baubau, there is an improvement of interest to learn until 85% in the third cycle and achievement in every cycle. The improvement achievement in the first cycleoccurred from 49.5 to 75, in the second cyclefrom 53 to 81 and in the third cycle from 60 to 83. Obstacles encountered in the implementation of problem based learning model, among them are the less understanding of student’s concerning problem based learning models at the beginning, students tend to be crowded, and there are students who can not cooperate in a group. The advantages of problem based learning models, among them are students are more active in learning, the ability of students are more honed, the students can train cooperation within the group, to create a spirit of competition between groups, and it is easy for teachers to see the understanding of students of the material.

Abstract

The purpose of this research was to (1) improve the increase of students learning achievement Group Investigation (GI) learning model in mechanic technique subject at grade X.2 Machine Technique of SMK Negeri 2 Baubau, (2) improve the increase of students activeness Group Investigation (GI) learning model in mechanic technique subject at grade X.2 Machine Technique of SMK Negeri 2 Baubau. This is Classroom Action Research (CAR) was conducted in two cycles. The technique of data analysis used was qualitative analysis. The results of the research showed that: (1) The implementation of Group Investigation (GI) learning model can improve students learning achievement. The improvement of students learning achievement can be seen from the percentage learning result by cognitive, affective, and psychomotor. The percentage of pre-cycle cognitive learning result was 68,75%, the first cycle was 78,12% and second cycle was 93,75%. Affective learning result pre-cycle was 53%, the first cycle was 66 % and the second cycle was 87%. Psychomotor learning result pre-cycle was 56%, the first cycle was 75 % and the second cycle was 87%. (2) The implementation of Group Investigation (GI) learning model can improve students activeness. Improve of students activeness can be seen from the increase of students activity. The based on these result was the implementation of Group Investigation (GI) learning model can improve achievement and activeness at grade X.2 Machine Technique of SMK Negeri 2 Baubau in mechanic technique subject.

Abstract

This research was conducted to find out and to analyze the influence of interest rate toward the Return on Asset Bank that list on BEI period 2014-2016. This research was a quantitative descriptive, the data was analyzed by using time series and it used multiple linear Regression. The result obtained the equation Y = -0,114 + 0,609X1 + 0,967X2, it showed a directional correlation between inflation and interest rate toward ROA. Coefficient of determination showed the inflation and the interest rate have contribution toward ROA was 13,6%. The result of t-test also showed that, the inflation and interest rate variables have no significant influence toward ROA. Whereas, F test showed the inflation and interest rate have significant influence toward ROA

Abstract

This study aimed at finding out whether the use of picture series technique can improve students writing skill of recount text or not. The subject of this research was 31 students of class VIII SMPN 3 Baubau. This was a classroom action research involving four steps in each cycles, they are planning, action, observation, and reflection. The instruments of this research were test, observation, questionnaires and documentations. The data analysis was presented in the table and chart of progressive analysis, and also in descriptive explanation. The result of quantitative analysis showed that using of picture series can improve students writing skill of the eight grade student of SMP Negeri 3 Baubau. It can be seen from the result of the students’ writing tests and the student‘s involvement which increased continuously during the application of the techniques. The mean score of students was 70.22 before techniques applied as the indications that this score categorized into a insufficient level. After having treatment in the first cycles, the student‘s mean sco improved to 75.15 which categorized into a sufficient level. In the second cycles, the student‘s mean score54 which improved was categorized good to level.79. This improvement was supported by qualitative data.
