Abstract

The religious conflicts in Indonesia were inter-religious conflicts, conflict between the religious groups as heretical, and the internal conflicts of the religion-people who have a different understanding. This article examines the intensely about the issue and attempt to uncover the root of problems behind. From this analysis, there was significance paradigmatic model of resolution based holistic theology and transformative. Theology transformative demands the people to escape from the burdens of religious history that often distorts the religion intrinsic value and its role. Through the development of this theology, human will be seen as the creative process and the full responsibility for developing life in the values of morality perennial, justice, peace and prosperity.Keywords: Religious Conflict, Theology Transformative, Indonesia.

Abstract

This paper examines the impact of the destruction of the Abbasid dynasty to the contemporary Islamic world. Abbasid dynasty setbacks caused by two factors, namely internal and external. Internal factors are the most dominant influence on deterioration of the Abbasid dynasty, which for Muslims to leave their religion. While external factors are the most dominant influence on deterioration of the Abbasid dynasty, namely: the Crusades and the Mongol army raid into the torritery of Islam. The impact of the destruction of the Abbasid dynasty to the contemporary Islamic world seen from the aspect of science, politics and economics. In the aspect of science, after the fall of the Abbasid Muslims are always behind in the field of science against the West. In the political aspect, when the Muslims led by a king who was a Syamanism (worshipers of sun) is Khulagu Khan, and the contemporary period the loss of the power of Islam as a superpower. Muslims are fragmented, Muslims colonized by the West, there is no caliphate. Meanwhile, in the economic field, after the fall of the Abbasid Muslims suffered poverty and the economy dominated by Western nations today.Keywords: Collapse, Abbasid Dynasty, Conteparary Islamic world

Abstract

The study analyzes the potential, opportunities, human resources and challenges in improving wakaf empowerment in Tanah Datar. The method that used in this research is a field research. To collect data that needed in this study is by interviews and documentation. Data was analyzed by descriptive qualitative. Result of this study is expected to produce guidelines or rule for the conduct of wakaf and can be used as a foothold in making policies. Base on data, potential of wakaf in in Tanah Datar about 639 locations already have wakaf certificate (AIW). A religious community of Tanah Datar people could be more efective to improve wakaf empowerment by using the rule that stated by government to manage of wakaf in Tanah Datar. And this rule also To avoid any mistake or human error in mangement to empower of wakaf. Keywords: Wakaf, Potential, Empowerment.

Abstract

There are three sides of the media business today, such as media content providers, audiences as consumers of content, and advertisers as ‘consumers’ other media users. All three are complementary and influence each other, although in many ways, most audiences are often sacrificed in terms of interest. When an issue arises, the media are often considered a factor called ‘news value’ that will attract audiences to consume and then attract advertisers to enter. At other times, the ideology of media also often affect how the news was created, directed, and then deployed. In the case of reported of corruption cases involving officials of political parties in Indonesia of 2014 election, which is affecting Luthfi Hasan Ishaaq (PKS), Ratu Atut Choisyah (Golkar), and Anas Urbaningrum (Demokrat), two major media in Indonesia, Kompas and Republika presented the news in a different way. It is strongly associated with the ideology of each medium. Media ideology are then distinguish the discourse developed Kompas and Republika in reporting cases of the party officials. Results of analysis using Foucault discourse analysis showed that both the national media show a particular discourse in accordance with ideology, and on the other hand also do marginalization of certain discourses are supposed to be there. For example, the discourse of corruption as an extraordinary crime, it is not displayed, enclosed by political discourse and religious identity of each alleged case of corruption.Keywords: Discourse, Religion Identity, Politics, Media Ideology

Abstract

Pesantren (Boarding School) have special characteristics in learning compared to other educational institutions, there is a boarding house to stay students. Nowadays the boarding life has less attention from stakeholders in the boarding school, it is seen from the boarding school’s atmosphere, such cleanliness which would cause various diseases for students. In this study, the researcher examined how is the school’s understanding to the cleanliness, however the classic books gave clear attention such fiqh thaharah (ablutions/sanitation). This study also predicted the way of traditional boarding school salafiah which represented by Pondok Pesantren Nurul Yaqin Ringan-Ringan in applying the hygiene of daily life.Keywords: Boarding School, Boarding House, School’s Atmosphere, Cleanliness.

Abstract

Islamic Education as one of the subjects in SMP N 1 Curup Rejang Lebong has a strategic role in the formation of character and personal student. Based on initial observations are students who reflect the character despicable character. This research aims to develop the contextual learning in Islamic education in SMP N 1 Curup Rejang Lebong in class VII Semester 1 through Contextual learning Valid, practical and effective. Subject or informan in this study conducted on students SMP N 1 Curup Rejang Lebong class VII. This research is the development of procedural composed of ten steps, namely: (1) identification of the problem, (2) the collection of information, (3) design prodik, (4) design validation, (5) the improvement of design, (6) the trial product , (7) the revision of the product, (8) utility testing, (9) the revision of the final stage of product, 10) mass production, in order to obtain the syllabus, teaching implementation plan, module and student worksheet valid, practical and effective. The subjects were SMP N 1 Curup Rejang Lebong. Data was collected through observation, questionnaires, and test results. Data were analyzed by percentage. The results of this study are: syllabus, teaching implementation plan, modules and Student Worksheet that has been validated by the validator is valid. Then based on the responses of students to the modules and worksheets Islamic Religious Education class VII SMP. Curup Rejang Lebong is practical.Teaching plan implementation, modules and Student Worksheet provided in the learning process is effective.Kewords: Learning Instruction, Contextual Teaching Learning, Islamic Education

Abstract

The transformation has been carried out by IAIN Syarif Hidayatullah State Islamic University Jakarta be led to changes in this educational institution. It was seen on the graduates produced. Whereas in the past, Islamic Religious Institutions spawned a cadre (personnel scholars) who are experts in the field of Islamic Theology, Syariah, Tarbiyah, Da’wah and Adab. However, after becoming the Islamic University, the scholar who produced not only Muslim scholars, but also can be moslem doctor, moslem economists, moslem psychologists. Changes of IAIN Syarif Hidayatullah inti State Islamic University Jakarta become an impact on changes in the function and role of this College. UIN Syarif Hidayatullah Jakarta contribute to sustainable development (sustainable development), and the development of society as a whole. In that context, the mission and function more specifically, namely: First, the curriculum applied at UIN Syarif Hidayatullah Jakarta aims to educate students to meet the needs of all sectors of human activity, by offering relevant qualifications, including education and professional training which combines science and high-level expertise through courses continue to be designed, evaluated regularly, and continue to be developed to address the various needs of the people present and the future. Second, UIN Syarif Hidayatullah Jakarta strives to promote, create and disseminate knowledge through research; and develop research in the field of science and technology, social sciences, humanities and creative arts. Abstract

This paper demonstrates how the Islamic financial system has been shaped by, and come to reflect, broader socio-cultural, political and economic developments such as the 1997 economic crisis in Indonesia and increases in oil welfare from Middle Eastern countries. The paper argues that a complex system of socio-economic pressures and financial systems at the regional, national and transnational levels has enabled the regional governments to engage in Islamic financial system. The paper suggests that the involvement was driven by the capacity to distribute resources to large sections of the population through small business groups provided a useful mechanism for shoring up electoral support. It is also argues that the present of a robust Islamic banking system was vital to the regional governments attempts to source additional financial resources from the Islamic world that could be used to fund local development.Keywords:  Islamic Financial, Politics, Public Issue.
