Abstract

AbstractHealth Operational Aid (BOK) had been utilized for the implementation of promotive and preventive services. This included maternal and child health improvement in the primary healthcare centers of Kudus district health office work area. However, maternal and child mortality  in  Bandar Lampung city  tended  to  increase.  The  study objective was  to explain  the utilization of Health Operational Aid in the maternal and child health improvement efforts in the primary healthcare centers of Bandar Lampung public health office. This was a qualitative study. This study compared utilization of BOK in high absorbing primary healthcare centers that succeeded in minimizing maternal and infant mortality cases and in low absorbing primary healthcare centers that did not succeed in minimizing maternal and infant mortality cases. Data were collected  through  in-depth  interview  to  main  informants  namely  the  head  of  primary healthcare centers, and triangulation informants namely maternal and child   health coordinator midwives and head of Bandar Lampung public health office. Content analysis was applied in the data analysis. Results  of  the  study  showed  that in the high absorbing primary healthcare centers that succeeded in   minimizing cases: understanding about health operational aid technical guideline was clear; implementation of activities was according to the reports; executors were involved  in a plan of action  formulation; and  there was  an evaluation on the activity implementation. In addition, in the success primary healthcare centers, it was found that executors of the activities arranged the completeness of supporting data; therefore, report making was not done only by the management team of primary healthcare center’ health operational aid. To be successful in  the health operational aid utilization for maternal and child health, application of a right management function in the primary healthcare center is needed. This management function includes planning, implementation and evaluation. Key words: utilization study, health operational aid, decrease in maternal and infant mortality rates , public health office.

Abstract

 AbstractPuskesmas Panjang is one of the Puskesmas in Bandar Lampung with the highest number of STI cases compared to 28 Puskesmas in Bandar Lampung City. In the Mentari Clinic at the Panjang 5 Puskesmas in the last 5 months from November 2018 to March 2019, data were obtained of all patients who came for treatment and advanced screening of 354 people. 234 people or (66%) are female sex workers (FSW). The purpose of this study is to determine the factors associated with early detection of sexually transmitted diseases in the Panjang Bandar Lampung Health Center in 2019. This study uses a cross sectional study design. The population studied in this study were all EFAs with risk behavior in Panjang Bandar Lampung Health Center in 2019, totaling 647 people. Sample 125 people. Data collection using a questionnaire filled directly by respondents, univariate data analysis and bivariate analysis using the chi square test. The results showed the frequency distribution of respondents with low education of 57.5%, high knowledge of 51.2%, positive attitude of 55.2%, not doing early detection of sexually transmitted diseases 57.6%, There was a relationship of education, knowledge, attitude with early detection of disease sexually transmitted infections in Puskesmas Panjang Bandar Lampung in 2019. Suggestions for increasing WUS knowledge through providing health education about STDs and screening using more interesting media. Keywords : Factors, Early Detection, Sexually Transmitted Diseases

Abstract

AbstractExcessive stress can cause a person unable to think clearly in action and difficult to make the right decision. In Australia only 37% of workers do good work by managing stress well but in Indonesia, 40% of cases in and out of workers are due to stress. Customer service is the most vulnerable part of being stressed because it is required to always be professional. This research used a cross sectional design. The research sample are 32 respondents with total sampling technique. Data analysis using univariate and bivariate. For bivariate use the chi-quere test. The results showed that there is a correlation between workload and work stress P Value = 0.036 and OR = 6,500 and there is a correlation between years of work and work stress P Value = 0.006 and OR = 12,500. recommend for PT Telekomunikasi Indonesia, Tbk Lampung to check physical and mental health of workers, before and after the work period to monitor work stress experienced by workers. High workload, it is recommended to give a lot of motivation and recreation.Keywords : Work Stress, Workload, Work Period.

Abstract

AbstractDiabetes mellitus is a chronic metabolic disorder due to the pancreas not producing enough insulin or the body cannot use insulin produced effectively. Metro City ranks 1 in Lampung Province with the number of people with diabetes mellitus. Banjarsari Public Health Center in Metro City has a Prolanis program with 50 people with type 2 diabetes mellitus but only 16 people with type 2 diabetes who measure blood sugar levels with the results of 5 people (31.25%) blood sugar levels> normal and 11 people (68.75 %) blood sugar levels in the normal category. This study uses a cross sectional design from 26 to 31 July 2019 at Banjarsari Community Health Center in Metro City in 2019. The sample of this study was 45 respondents. Data analysis using univariate and bivariate. For bivariate use the chi-test test. The results showed that there was a significant relationship between family involvement in the prolanis program (p value of 0.039) with adherence to take medication for Type 2 Diabetes Mellitus patients at the Banjarsari Community Health Center in Metro City in 2019. Abstract

AbsractBased on BPOM survey results, it shows that 99% of school children buy snacks at school. In addition, BPOM also still found foods containing textile dyes in traditional markets by generating data that exhibits  70% of production facilities, and 55% of drug and food distribution facilities in the city of Bandar Lampung didn’t  meet the requirements (BPOM, 2018).Thus, the purpose of this study was determining whether or not the effect of providing counseling with snakes and ladders game to  the knowledge and attitudes of consuming healthy snacks in the case of fifth grade students at SD Negeri 1 Sukarame, Bandar Lampung City. The type of this research is a pre-experimental study. The population of the study is 153 students with a sample of 61 respondents using the stratified random sampling technique to specify the number of students taken per class, then they would be conducted pre-test and post-test. Data were analyzed using the T test. The results of this research are an increase in knowledge and attitudes of respondents after the provision of counseling with snakes and ladders game. Prior to provide counseling using snakes and ladders game,  the average value of respondents knowledge was 51.72 to 67.97, and the average value of attitudes was 52.56 to 72.787. The results based on the T test obtained knowledge p-value 0,000 (<0,005), and attitude p-value 0,000 (<0,005), which means that there is an effect of giving counseling by playing snakes and ladders game to the knowledge and attitudes. Ultimately, this research also contains suggestions for voluntary SD Negeri 1 Bandar Lampung, especially to the teachers as The School Health Unit Supervisory Team (SHUPT/TPUKS) at school to give a basic knowledge about nutrition routinely, and fun learning media according to the age of school children.Keywords: healthy snacks, knowledge and attitudesof  healthy snacks

Abstract

 AbstractThe effectiveness of CTPS on reducing the incidence of diarrhea is 44%, this is evidenced by the 2013 Riskesdas data which shows that the prevalence of Riskesdas 2013 (3.5%) is smaller than the Riskesdas 2007 (9.0%). CTPS campaign six times during 2008-2013. This research aims to find out the factors related to the behavior of washing hands with soap in SDN students in Simpang Pematang District, Mesuji Regency, Lampung Province in 2017. This type of research is a quantitative survey. The research design used is cross-sectional. The study population is the population in this study is the fifth grade elementary school students in Simpang Pematang District totaling 263 students. And the sample is 184 respondents with proportional random sampling technique. Data analysis using univariate, bivariate with chi-square test. The results of the research analysis showed that there was no significant relationship between sexes (p-value = 0.547). There is a relationship of knowledge (p-value = 0,000), attitude (p-value = 0.008), perception (p-value = 0.004), information exposure (p-value = 0,000), officer support (p-value = 0.007), teacher support (p-value = 0,000), family support (p-value = 0.009). This study suggests that officers provide counseling to respondents and counseling to the community, and are also expected to be a source of information for the community so that it can increase knowledge and awareness of health and can be positive towards everything something related to a disease that can be prevented by washing hands.         Keywords: Factors, Hand Washing Behavior

Abstract

AbstractThe contractor plays an important role in supporting the operations of a company. However, contractors are more prone to work accidents because they directly carry out work activities. Contractor Safety Management System (CSMS) is a management system for managing contractors who work within the PT. Pertamina. The purpose of this study was to analyze the implementation of a Contractor Safety Management System (CSMS) at the stage of implementing the Tanker project at PT. Main Radar Power Unit of Lampung in 2019. This study uses a qualitative approach by triangulation to understand a phenomenon of CSMS implementation. The informants of this study consisted of 1 person from HSE PT. Pertamina and each 1 General Manager of Production, 1 person HSE Coordinator, 1 person Project Manager, 2 Workers PT Lampung Unit DRU. The results showed that the implementation of CSMS in the Pre-Work Phase which was divided into 6, namely PreJob Meeting, HSE Plan and HSE Induction. Then the Ongoing Work phase which is divided into 5 activities, namely Daily Inspection, HSE Management Visit, Audit, Safety Meeting Contractor and Tool Box Meeting have not been carried out maximally by PT. Lampung Unit DRU. It is recommended to PT. Daya Radar Utama to support both financially, human resources and communication in the HSE field for the implementation of CSMS at the work implementation stage so that PT DRU Unit Lampung is able to realize all HSE programs properly.Keywords : Contractor Safety Management System (CSMS), Contractor.

Abstract

AbstractIn Indonesia (2017), ABJ continues to descrease from national target > 95% in 2017 on be achieved 46,7%. In Province Lampung (2018), ABJ only reached 75%. In Lampung Tengah these ABJ (2018) lower than in 2017 namely 78% and the community health centre, ABJ community health centre continued to decline only reached 78% from standard national > 95%. The low percentage of less than optimal ABJ caused by performance of cadres to dengue control activities. The research aims to observe the factors related to performance of cadres in the community health centre Segala Mider Lampung Tengah in 2019. This was an analytical survey quantitative study with cross sectional desaign. The results showed there was correlation between knowledge (p-value = 0,046, OR = 7,000), attitude (p-value = 0,011, OR = 12,250), motivation (p-value = 0,039, OR = 7,000), the availability tools (p-value = 0,026, OR = 10,000), and reward or salary (p-value = 0,023, OR = 10,000) with performance cadres in the community health centre Segala Mider. The suggestion for community health centre Segala Mider, giving to cadres (jumantik) change for following the training, the procuremnet of banner to increase knowledge, and re-valuete about funding allocations payment for cadres (jumantik).Keywords      : Performance of cadres (Jumantik), Knowledge, Attitude, Motivation, Availability tools, and reward or salary.
