Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui jenis-jenis kesalahan, faktor-faktor penyebab kesalahan serta solusi kesalahan yang dilakukan siswa dalam menyelesaikan soal cerita materi program linear. Metode penelitian yang digunakan deskriptif kualitatif. Teknik pengumpulan data dalam penelitian menggunakan tes, observasi, wawancara dan dokumentasi. Teknik analisis data dengan langkah-langkah: reduksi data, penyajian data, dan penarikan kesimpulan. Hasil penelitian menunjukan jenis-jenis kesalahan yang dilakukan siswa yaitu kesalahan konseptual (57%), kesalahan prosedural (62%), dan kesalahan komputasi (73%). Berdasarkan hasil wawancara penyebab siswa melakukan kesalahan yaitu: Siswa tidak paham dengan maksud soal, siswa kurang cermat dan teliti dalam membaca soal, siswa kurang percaya diri dalam menjawab soal, siswa kurang memahami konsep dari program linear, siswa terburu-buru dalam menyelesaikan soal, dan siswa tidak terbiasa membuat kesimpulan akhir jawaban.Kata Kunci: analisis kesalahan, soal cerita, program linear.

Abstract

ABSTRACTThe purpose of this study was to improve the activities and learning outcomes of the subject matter of statistics in SMAN 7 Bengkulu city. Student learning outcomes regarding the subject matter of statistics still have not reached KKM, which is 75. This is because some students still consider that mathematics lessons are boring. Therefore, the researchers concluded that the learning process carried out must have variations to improve student learning activities through the application of the Student Teams Achievement Division learning model. This research is a classroom action research carried out in several cycles. Each cycle consists of four stages, namely planning, implementing actions, observing and reflecting. The study was conducted in SMAN 7 Bengkulu city with the research subjects being students of class XII IPA 5. Data collection techniques carried out in this study were observation and test of learning outcomes. The instruments used are student observation sheets and test questions. The indicator of success used is the activity of students said to increase if the results of observations of student activeness in general achieve active, ie achieving a score between 24-30 and completeness of learning in a classical manner will be achieved if 75% of students get a value of ≥75. Based on the results of the study, it was found that the mathematics learning outcomes of class XII IPA 5 students of SMA N 7 Bengkulu City increased with the application of the learning model of the student teams achievement division. This can be seen based on the results of the final test of each cycle, namely the average value in the first cycle is 71.77 with classical learning completeness 43.33%, in the second cycle increased to 76.64 with classical learning completeness 60.61%, and at cycle III increased to 83.24 with classical learning completeness 82.35%. Keywords:Model Student Teams Achievement Divis

Abstract

This study aims to determine whether the Snowball Throwing learning model can improve students' cognitive learning outcomes in quadrilateral and triangle material class VII A of Middle School 3 Kepahiang. The type of research used in this study is class action research the model of Kurt Lewin through four stages, namely: planning, action, observation and reflection. The research subjects were all students of class VII A of SMP 3 Kepahiang consisting of 26 students. This research was conducted from january 23 to February 13, 2019. Data collection techniques in this study were observations and tests, with research instruments observation sheets and test sheets. Data analysis techniques in this study used descriptive statistics, namely by percentage. Based on the observation sheet, the teacher's activity in the third cycle of teacher activity is classified as a good criterion and, every aspect has been in sufficient complexity. Based on the results of the evaluation test in Cycle III classical completeness was . Based on the results of the third cycle that has met the indicators of success, the research was stopped. Thus it can be concluded that the application of the Snowball Throwing learning model is well implemented and can improve students' cognitive learning outcomes in quadrilateral and triangular material in class VII AKepahiang 3 Public Middle School.Keywords: Snowball Throwing, Cognitive Learning Outcomes

Abstract

This study aims to: (1) find out the significant differences of students’ math reasoning abilities with the Discovery Learning model, Connected Mathematics Project (CMP) learning model, and conventional learning models; (2) find out which one of the above models are considered as the better model. This study was a quasi-experimental with the population from eighth grade students of SMPN 6 Bengkulu city and took sample from three classes namely VIII-D as the experimental class 1, class VIII-E as the experimental class 2, and class VIII-F as the control class.The technique for collecting data used a test of mathematics reasoning ability and analyzed by using one-way ANOVA test and continued with LSD test. Based on the result of study there were significat differences in students’ math reasoning abilities by using Discovery Learning, Connected Mathematics Project (CMP) and the conventional learning models.From the BNT test was obtained that Connected Mathematics Project (CMP) learning model gives the better results of students’ mathematics reasoning abilities than the Discovery Learning and Conventional learning models. Keywords: Reasoning Ability, Discovery Learning, CMP

Abstract

This research aims to describe the geometric thingking ability of students in the quadrilateral and triangular material based on the Van Hiele theory to grade VII B SMPN 9 Kota Bengkulu who have field independent (FI) cognitive style. The type of this research is qualitative descriptive. The Data were obtained from Van Hiele geometry test results and interviews. Ones were analyzed by using qualitative data analysis techniques. The results showed that FI’s students able to analyze problems of geometry well and in responding to such questions based on the requirements from the inside. So the ability of the highest FI’s students can be achieved to ability level from level 2 to the level 3 (Pre deduction).Keywords : Geometry Thinking, Van Hiele Theory, Field Independent (FI)

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to see and explain the potential application of local cultural values to the learning process in elementary schools. Problems that occur based on the results of observations that many students have difficulty in understanding mathematical concepts, so that it will affect student learning outcomes. The method in this research uses the type of case study research. The sample of this study was 3 (three) elementary schools in Jakarta. Some types of local culture that are applied consist of 2 (two) types, namely Textual and Building. The results of the study were conducted in several schools, namely the Mathematics learning process using local culture-based learning models such as doorstop learning models and teachers using media and local culture-based teaching aids such as miniature Betawi traditional houses. By integrating Local Wisdom in Mathematics learning, mathematical objects that exist in the human mind, in the form of facts, concepts, principles, and skills will emerge so as to strengthen the ability of understanding, reasoning, creative, critical, and communicative in solving mathematical problems faced by students.Keywords: Local Cultural Values; Mathematics Learning

Abstract

ABSTRAKTujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui bagaimana pengaruh model pembelajaran Novick terhadap kemampuan berpikir kritis matematis dan disposisi matematis siswa SMP Negeri 52 Palembang. Metode penelitian ini adalah eksperimen dengan desain penelitian yaitu Postest-Only Control Design. Sampel dalam penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas VII.6 sebagai kelas kontrol dan siswa kelas VIII.10 sebagai kelas eksperimen. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan tes dan angket. Teknik analisis yang digunakan adalah Independent Sampel t test. Berdasarkan hasil analisis data tes akhir disimpulkan bahwa terdapat pengaruh model pembelajaran Novick terhadap kemampuan berpikir kritis matematis siswa. Dari nilai angket disposisi matematis siswa, disimpulkan bahwa terdapat pengaruh model pembelajaran Novick terhadap disposisi matematis siswa. Dapat disimpulkan bahwa terdapat pengaruh model pembelajaran Novick terhadap kemampuan berpikir kritis dan disposisi matematis siswa SMPN 52 Palembang. Kata kunci : model pembelajaran Novick, kemampuan berpikir kritis matematis, disposisi matematis ABSTRACTThe purpose of this study was to determine how the influence of Novick's learning model on the ability to think critically mathematically and the mathematical disposition of students at SMP Negeri 52 Palembang. This research method is an experimental research design that is Postest-Only Control Design. The sample in this study were students of class VII.6 as the control class and students of class VIII.10 as the experimental class. Data collection techniques using tests and questionnaires. The analysis technique used is the Independent Sample t test. Based on the results of the final test data analysis, it was concluded that there was an influence of Novick's learning model on students' mathematical critical thinking abilities. From the students 'mathematical disposition questionnaire value, it was concluded that there was an influence of Novick's learning model on students' mathematical disposition. It can be concluded that there is an influence of Novick's learning model on critical thinking abilities and mathematical disposition of Palembang 52 Junior High School students. Keywords : Novick learning model, mathematical critical thinking ability, mathematical disposition

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan aktifitas dan kemampuan kognitif melalui hasil belajar siswa dengan menerapkan strategi pembelajaran kooperatif Student Team Achievement Divisions. Penelitian ini adalah penelitian Tindakan Kelas (PTK) dengan teknik pengumpulan data melalui lembar observasi aktifitas dan tes siklus siswa. Subjek penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas VIII.2 SMP Negeri 18 Kota Bengkulu Semester Ganjil Tahun Ajaran 2019/2020 berjumlah 25 siswa. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penerapan strategi pembelajaran Pembelajaran kooperatif Student Team Achievement Divisions dapat meningkatkan aktifitas dan kemampuan kognitif siswa. Peningkatan hasil belajar ranah kognitif siswa dapat dilihat dari nilai rata-rata hasil belajar siswa dari pra siklus, siklus I dan siklus II secara berturut-turut adalah 69,5; 73,32; dan 83,68 serta ketuntasan belajar klasikal pra siklus I, siklus II dan siklus III secara berturut-turut adalah 40%; 64%; dan 80%. Peningkatan aktifitas belajar siswa dapat di lihat dari nilai hasil observasi aktifitas belajar matematika siswa siklus I, dan siklus II, secara berturut-turut adalah 22,34 (kriteria cukup) dan 25,34 (kriteria aktif).Kata kunci: Aktifitas, Hasil Belajar, Pembelajaran kooperatif Student Team Achievement Divisions

Abstract

ABSTRACTThe purpose of this study is to determine whether there is a difference in the ability to understand the mathematical problems of students through the VAK learning model using VCD and print learning media. This type of research is an experiment using pretest-posttest control design. The sample of this study were three classes, 2 experimental classes and 1 control class. The results showed that the average value of student learning outcomes through the VAK learning model using VCD learning media in the initial test was 46.31 while in the final test it was 83.56; the average value of student learning outcomes through the VAK learning model using print learning media (LKS) in the initial test of 37.31 while in the final test amounted to 72.21; and the average value of student learning outcomes through the conventional VAK learning model in the initial test was 45.34 while the final test was 55.5. The results of the values of these three classes were tested statistically using One way Anava at significant (α = 5%) to determine whether there were differences. From the results of the one way anava test there was a significant difference between the VAK learning model using VCD learning media, the VAK learning model using printed learning media (LKS), and conventional learning models. Keywords: Visualization, Auditory, Kinesthetic (VAK) Learning Models, Mathematical Problem Solving Capabilities, VCD Learning Media

Abstract

This study was aimed to know the differences in students' mathematical problem solving skills in problem basedlearning models with cooperative type thinking aloud pairs problem solving with a scientific approach at SMA Negeri 7 Bengkulu. Thedesign of this research was a quasi-experimental, used a pre-test post-test control group design. The population in this study were all students of class X MIPA SMA Negeri 7 Bengkulu consist of 6 classes, with samples consist of 3 classes, the first experimental class with the problem based learning model, the second experimental class cooperative learning model type thinking aloud pairs problem solving and conventional learning as a control class. The sampling technique used simple random sampling. Data collection was done by using a test of students' mathematical problem solving skills. The results of the research data were analyzed using one-way ANAVA test and BNT test. The prerequisite test used the Kolmogrove-Smirnov test to see normality and Bartlet's test to see homogeneity. The significant level used is 0.05. The research data showed  that there was a significant difference in students' mathematical problem-solving ability in the learning model of Problem Based Learning, cooperative type thinking aloud pairs problem solving in SMA Negeri 7 Bengkulu, and problem based learning learning model which gives better results compared to the thinking type cooperative learning model thinking aloud Pairs problem solving at SMA Negeri 7 Bengkulu.Keywords: mathematical problem solving, PBL,TAPPS
