Abstract

The new term of specialization used in curriculum 2013 (K-13) raised several issues. The specialization chose by the students in Grade X are found not linear with major they chose in Grade XI. Therefore, this research aimed to probe several questions in the following: (a) how is the procedure of declaring a major in SMAN 1 Tulungagung?; (b) how is the policy of shifting the specialization to major?; (c) what are the impacts of choosing a major in SMAN 1 Tulungagung?. In answering those questions, a descriptive qualitative method was employed in this research. It was concluded that (a) the procedure of declaring a major for students was not appropriate due to the interference of conceptions from several parties which has not reached a decision. Therefore, reconsidering the procedure in details which has been decided by the leader flown to the students and their guardians is needed. (b) Policy concerning the re-arrangement of specialization to major set aside numerous undetected problems and (c) the impacts of choosing major in SMAN 1 Tulungagung decreased students’ interest in learning particularly for social science students aside from discrimination that they faced.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan (1) untuk mengetahui pengaruh gaya mengajar dosen terhadap hasil belajar mahasiswa semester 2 program studi PGSD STKIP PGRI Tulungagung. (2) untuk mengetahui pengaruh penggunaan media pembelajaran (media power point) terhadap hasil belajar mahasiswa semester 2 program studi PGSD STKIP PGRI Tulungagung. (3) untuk mengetahui pengaruh penerapan model pembelajaran Students Teams Achievement Division (STAD) terhadap hasil belajar mahasiswa semester 2 program studi PGSD STKIP PGRI Tulungagung. Abstract

Speaking is an ability that is taken for granted, learned as it is through process of socialization through communicating. It seems very important because by mastering speaking skill, people can carry out conversations with others, give the ideas and exchange the information with others. In the third semester of English Department, the students get difficulties to speak English well. They lack of mastering the component of speaking. They only have a little chance to practice speaking English out of class because most of their friends speak Indonesian. Students’ speaking problem can be solved by giving a lot chance to them for practicing English either in the classroom or out of classroom. Practicing speaking English in the classroom should be interested with appropriate technique in order to improve students speaking skill. One of technique can be used in teaching speaking is debate. This research was aimed to improve the third Semester Students of English Department at STKIP PGRI Tulungagung through debate technique. This research was classroom action research done in two cycles. The data collection was done using observation and test. The participants of this research were 24 students. The result of this research showed that using debate technique can improve students’ speaking skill. This was proven by students’ test score that improved in every cycle. In the first cycle, the students’ average score was 71 and in the second cycle students got 82. Thus, debate is an appropriate technique used to improve students’ speaking skill.

Abstract

Tax is an important component of state revenue. The amount of tax contribution can ensure stability for the availability of sources of state revenue. This study aims to determine (1) The effect of the application of e-filing on taxpayer compliance. (2) The effect of understanding tax on taxpayer compliance. (3) The effect of tax sanctions on taxpayer compliance. The population of this research is the taxpayers who use e-Filing at KPP Pratama Batu, Batu City. Sampling used in this study is non-probability sampling with the sampling technique using incidental sampling, the determination of the number of samples calculated using the Slovin formula using 99 samples. The results of this study indicate that the application of the e-Filing system tax, understanding of taxes and tax sanctions has a positive effect on taxpayer compliance.Keywords: e-Filing, Tax Understanding, Tax Sanctions, Taxpayer                     Compliance

Abstract

Intention of this research is to test by normative/theory among education level, experience, and strategy orientation conducted by owner an industry, specially micro industry, and also development of conducted strategy to performa of effort either through partial and also by simultan. Which this research background is business environment which progressively complex, claiming the effort which pertained middle and micro have to can develop x'self in order to winning emulation and can stay, grow, and expand better. At middle and micro effort most made by strategic development of owner at the same time manager. Influence of owner at business strategy stronger than with effort with larger ones scale. This matter is caused by owner have strong ability in passing challenge and in striving election of business strategy to reach successfulness of effort him. Development of effort basically can be done with three way of, that is : by developing new market by extending from local market or a market of regional to national market or is international. Second: is by innovate product by creating new product for cutomer which have there is now and also to come. Thirdly: concerning development of network of effort and relation/link. It’s implication for middle and micro industry with same job/activity/colaboration with cutomer, suplier, distributor, other organization and competitor. Relation between variable of dependen that is performa of effort and independent variable of him can be yielded by using analyzer of regresi doubled. From result of research known that education storey;level, experience of strategy orientation and owner and also development of strategy have an effect on to performa of effort. While factor having influence most dominant to performa variable development of strategy.

Abstract

Writing gives us unique opportunities to explore ideas andinformation. By writing, we care to subjects well and make them our own.In relation to using instructional media in learning writing, the use ofpictures series can be a choice as one of many alternative ways to helpstudents learn writing. Pictures and all of their form for instance pictures ofstory, There are a lot of language activities that can be done using picturesseries. This research used experimental research. The researcher used onegroup pretest posttest design which one of pre experimental research. Thesubject of the study is the eighth grade students of SMPN 1 Ngantru in theacademic year of 2014/2015. There were 33 students. The technique usedfor collecting data is pre-test and post-test and interview. Based on theresult of data, mean of pretest score is 73,03 and mean of Post Test score is84,5. It means that posttest score was higher than pretest. The result of thestudy was that the students’ progress during teaching and learning activityby using picture series in teaching writing narrative texts to effect writingskill was good. In the T-Test result, T-value = 6.424 2.0369 (T- table).The significance level 0,05. So, the Ho was rejected and Ha was accepted.KEY WORDS: Picture series and Narrative text

Abstract

Mathematics is one of the main subjects taught starting from elementary school level. Most students do not like math lessons, resulting in low learning outcomes. This study aims to (1) Describe the types of difficulties experienced by students in solving the story problems in grade 4 students of SDN Kendalrejo 01, and (2) Knowing and describing what factors cause students having difficulty in solving the story problem in the students grade IV SDN Kendalrejo 01.               Research method using qualitative research type with case study approach. Data obtained from the results of mathematical tests materisoal stories, data hadil observation, and data interviews. For the data source used all students of class IV SDN Kendalrejo 01 which amounted to 21 students. The instruments used in the research are test, observation, and interview.               The result of the research shows the factors that cause the students having difficulties in solving the matrix problems include internal factors and external factors. Internal factors, (1) Students are less able to understand each question in the test questions so that the answers from students deviate from the questions that have been asked, (2) Students assume that math is the most difficult lesson so that students are lazy to think and thoroughly in doing the problem, in adding or subtracting in the concept of story, (3) Students feel less able to focus every problem in the lesson, focus on listening when the teacher explains, not paying attention when the teacher writes on the board so that students will find it difficult after giving them the problem to do it yourself. External factors, (1) Teachers are too patient to be less appropriate with the expected students, (2) The class situation is noisy due to the lack of student responses during the learning process, (3) Teachers are less able to understand what students want in the learning process in the classroom, (4) lack of spirit of learning and encouragement from parents at home to learn, (5) too much time playing outside so less time to learn.

Abstract

Abstrak Mata pelajaran IPS berperan memfungsionalkan dan merealisasikan ilmu-ilmu sosial yang bersifat teoritik ke dalam dunia kehidupan nyata di masyarakat. Oleh karenanya secara substansi materi IPS mengintegrasikan dan mengorganisasikan secara pedagogik dari berbagai ilmu sosial serta penerapan nilai-nilai karakter bangsa utamanya pendidikan anti korupsi. Secara optimal-nilai-nilai tersebut dapat diimplementasikan melalui beberapa model pembelajaran. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode kualitatif deskriptif. Sumber data terdiri dari data primer yang bersumber dari observasi, partisipasi, pengukuran (langsung di lapangan), serta hasil dari interogasi atau wawancara dan data sekunder. Hasil dan pembahasan penerapan pembelajaran IPS menggunakan model pembelajaran Problem based learning atau pembelajaran berbasis masalah yang berisi keteladanan, simulasi, bermain peran dalam mencari solusi pemecahan masalah. Dengan demikian, pembelajaran nilai-nilai budaya dan karakter bangsa tidak hanya pada tataran kognitif, tetapi menyentuh pada internalisasi, dan pengamalan nyata dalam kehidupan peserta didik sehari-hari, sehingga penerapan dari integrasi nilai-nilai anti korupsi dapat terwujud.Kata kunci:  Model Pembelajaran Berbasis Masalah, IPS, Nilai-Nilai Anti Korupsi. Abstract  Social studies subjects function to realize and realize theoretical social sciences in the real life world in society. Therefore, in substance the IPS material integrates and organizes pedagogically from various social sciences and the application of national character values, especially anti-corruption education. Optimally, these values can be implemented through several learning models. The method used in this research is descriptive qualitative method. Data sources consist of primary data sourced from observations, participation, measurements (directly in the field), as well as the results of interrogations or interviews and secondary data. Results and discussion of the application of social studies learning using Problem based learning model or problem based learning which contains role models, simulations, role playing in finding problem solving solutions. Thus, learning cultural values and national character is not only at the cognitive level, but touches on internalization, and real practice in the lives of learners everyday, so that the application of the integration of anti-corruption values can be realized.Keyword:  Project based learning, social studies, the value of anti corruptuion

Abstract

Objek penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas XI SMK PGRI 1 Tulungagung Semester Gasal Tahun Pelajaran 2014/2015, sedangkan materi yang dibahas dalam penelitian ini adalah sarana dan prasarana belajar. Hasil analisis data kuantitatif menggunakan regresi berganda. berdasarkan hasil penelitian didapatkan dan setelah diadakan analisis regresi berganda diperoleh rhitung (X1) sebesar 0,624 sehingga terdapat hubungan parsial antara sarana belajar terhadap kegiatan kewirausahaan dan rhitung (X2) sebesar 0,503, sehingga terdapat hubungan parsial antara prasarana belajar terhadap kegiatan kewirausahaan. Sedangkan thitung (X1) sebesar 5,361 sehingga terdapat pengaruh parsial antara sarana belajar terhadap kegiatan kewirausahaan dan thitung (X2) sebesar 3,010 sehingga terdapat pengaruh parsial antara parasarana belajar terhadap kegiatan kewirausahaan. Sedangkan Fhitung sebesar 22,918 sehingga berpengaruh secara simultan tingkat sarana dan prasarana belajar dalam menunjang kegiatan kewirausahaan dan kontribusi efektif dari kedua variabel sarana dan prasarana tersebut sebesar 37% terhadap kegiatan kewirausahaan dan sisanya sebesar 63% dipengaruhi oleh variabel lain diluar penelitian. Sehingga sesuai dengan pembahasan analisis data yang diperoleh dapat diambil kesimpulan bahwa ada pengaruh secara parsial maupun simultan antara sarana dan prasarana belajar dalam menunjang kegiatan kewirausahaan pada siswa kelas XI SMK PGRI 1 Tulungagung dan variabel yang paling dominan yang mempengaruhi kegiatan kewirausahaan adalah sarana.

Abstract

This study aimed to analyze  correlation of teachers’ teaching  performance and learning environment with students’ learning motivation. The population was 114 students of Electrical Engineering Major Faculty of Engineering Panca Marga University Probolinggo. The respondents were 89 students was choosen by purposive random sampling. The method used in this research is descriptive and inferential analysis method with multiple regression. The results showed a positive and significant correlation (0,716) of teachers' teaching performance and learning environment simultanousely to students' motivation.
