Abstract

Children with oppositional defiant disorders (ODD) have a tendency to against authority figures, which is shown by a tendency to argue with parents and teachers, refuse to follow orders from parents and teachers, and intentionally disturb others. This condition of course can hinder the optimal potential of the child and can interfere with the comfort of other children when children with ODD are in public places such as schools, so that effective handling is needed to reduce these unwanted behaviors. The focus of the behavior that wants to be modified in this study is the behavior of annoying friends during learning hours. This study aims to see the effectiveness of the token economy method in modifying disruptive behavior in children with ODD. This study used a single-case experimental design, and the process of analyzing the data was by comparing the average number of annoying behavior to friends before being given treatment and after giving treatment. Participant in this study was a child with ODD. The results of this study indicate that token ecomy can reduce disruptive behavior in children with ODD.

Abstract

Tulisan ini menghasilkan kesimpulan bahwa bahasa mulitkulturalisme merupakan bahasa yang indah namun penerapannya cukup susah. Kecuali, jika pengajaran “yang menghargai perbedaan” di dalam pendidikan Islam bertumpu, tidak hanya pada konsep “pendidikan Islam multikulturalisme” yang mendalam, tapi juga pada aspek seleksi input muridnya. Kesimpulan tersebut berbeda dengan kajian terdahulu yang mendeteksi bahwa multikulturalisme dapat diterapkan dalam system pendidikan, dan bahan ajar. Metodologi penulisan makalah ini berasas pada faham menghargai perbedaan (konsep multikulturalisme) yang tetap menghargai adanya kelompok mayoritas dan minoritas (teori kritis). Abstract

Industrial revolution 4.0 is a change that is happening so fast in the fabric of society and social life, one of which is in the world of education. This change affects the lifestyle, character, and mindset of students. In addition, the industrial revolution 4.0 requires intelligent human resources in responding to changes that occur in society through the educational process. Lately, the character that exists in students is very alarming when viewed in terms of morale because the culture of respecting differences is no longer ignored. This study aims to prepare human resources who are intelligent in using information media and technology as part of the industrial revolution 4.0, which is often used to divide unity and unity among the people. This research uses descriptive qualitative method through interviews in schools that have different cultural bases, namely Sultan Iskandar Muda High School, Madrasah Aliyah Negeri 2 Model Medan, and SMA Santo Thomas 1 Medan. This study shows the condition of students who still do not understand technological advances that have an impact on changing the character of themselves and their surroundings. This shows that they are not smart enough to use information and communication tools properly, for example they often believe hoaxes, use applications that do not educate, use mass media to tease each other and break up unity, online games and even pornography. This research offers a solution, namely the implementation of multicultural education in preparing human resources who are intelligent in the era of the industrial revolution 4.0.

Abstract

Organizational change is one of the important things that must be considered in the work environment. The thing that most influences the effectiveness of implementing change in the organization is the readiness of individuals to change. Perceptions of organizational support are factors that can increase readiness to change. Therefore, this study aims to determine the effect of perceived organizational support on the readiness to change of employees at the Chancellor Bureau, University of North Sumatra. The measurement tools of this research are the scale of readiness to change and the scale of perceived organizational support. This research was conducted on 130 employees at the North Sumatra Chancellor's Bureau. The results showed that there was a positive influence on the perception of organizational support together on the readiness to change among employees at the Chancellor Bureau, University of North Sumatra. The coefficient of determination (R) of perceived organizational support is able to explain the variable readiness to change in employees at the Chancellor's Bureau at the University of North Sumatra by 37.4% and the remaining 62.6% is explained by other independent variables that have not been studied.

Abstract

This analysis needs to be done so that we know the extent to which students are capable of mathematical communication, especially in the discussion of the Two-Variable Linear Equation System (SPLDV). The purpose of this research is to motivate students in terms of mathematical communication. In this process, researchers conducted descriptive qualitative research by analyzing interviews and also observations from the discussion of the Two-Variable Linear Equation System (SPLDV). With unsatisfactory results due to the concept of learning that is not optimal since the beginning of learning. As for the results of this study, these junior high school students had not yet fully mastered the SPLDV material and the researchers could see that each respondent had difficulty answering interview questions. Abstract

Work stress is the staff to get down to get to the staff, both physically and psychologically due to a mismatch between the data used or working with the employees' abilities. When a person experiences stress, it is influenced by several factors, one of which is the stress that arises from the social environment in interpersonal relationships (interpersonal mismatch, personal freedom, isolation), so this study aims to see the relationship between perceptions of interpersonal communication and work stress on PT employees. . wesen jayatama Medan branch. The sample in this study was 75 employees, so the hypothesis put forward in this study is that there is a relationship between perceptions of interpersonal communication with work stress, assuming an increase in interpersonal communication with their leaders, the work stress will be lower and if the perception of interpersonal communication is not good then the stress will help employees will be even higher. The data were collected using a Likert scale and purposive sampling technique. Hypothesis testing is done using product analysis techniques from Karl's side. Based on the results of the data analysis carried out, it is found that there is a relationship between perceptions of interpersonal communication with work stress on employees.

Abstract

Kesimpulan besar penelitian ini adalah semakin termenegement suatu instansi, semakin maju dalam peradaban di eraglobalisasi. Karena pendidikan adalah dinamis. Penelitian ini menggunakan beberapa pendekatan yakni: pendekatan Manegement pendidikan, Sosiologi, Agama, dan Sejarah. Adapun jenis penelitiannya menggunakan studi kasus. Sumber datanya yakni primer dan sekunder. Kemudian, teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan metode observasi, wawancara, dokumentasi, dan analisa data. Dengan demikian, penelitian menolak pendapat Gene Hall (1989) menyatakan bahwa pendidikan tidak membutuhkan pembaharuan melainkan konsistensi dalam pengajaran. Kendati demikian penelitian ini mendukung pendapat Ricard Johnson (1990) bahwa pendidikan membutuhkan pembaharuan dalam perkembangan teknologi dan informatika. Penelitian ini menggunakan sumber primer dan sekunder. Sumber primer adalah studi lapangan di Pesantren berupa wawancara mendalam kepada beberapa informan. Sumber skunder berupa hasil penelitian sebelumnya, meliputi jurnal, artikel dan buku. Kata Kunci : Manajemen, Wirausaha, dan Pesantren

Abstract

Abstract

Facing the rapid growth rate of globalization, then in fact Islamic teachings strongly encourage their followers to have soft skills. The skills possessed are not only aimed at personal development but also to the sustainability of human life. Muslims should not be satisfied with the nostalgia of past scientific achievements because the world of science is constantly changing. Therefore, Muslims should be able to collaborate with any religion as long as it is for the good of people's lives. Islamic education is expected to be able to foster students' personalities by integrating faith and good deeds using both theoretical and practical approaches, so that students can practice them for future life. Some Islamic educational institutions that have integrated the values of soft skills include the Daarut Tauhid Boarding School pesantren in Bandung, Denanyar, Gontor, Tebuireng, Tegalrejo and Tambak Beras, each of which has its own characteristics in instilling these values.

Abstract

The Indonesian nation, the majority of whose population is Muslim, has experienced serious problems as well as other Muslim countries regarding the relationship between Islam and the state, namely when it entered the gates of independence in 1945. Evidence that the position of Islam in society is still a problem is reflected, among others, in the debates of the Business Investigation Agency. the Preparation for Indonesian Independence (Dokuritsu Zyunbi Coosakai) in 1945; polemics in the early 1950s followed by heated debates at the Constituent Assembly from 1955 to 1959. And then the acceptance of Pancasila as the basis of any party, including Islamic parties, was one of the conditions for obtaining recognition from the government. For further discussion, this paper is compiled with the theme of the struggle of Islam and the state in post-independence Indonesia. The sub-discussion of this paper covers the situation and attitudes of the post-independence Indonesian state, and the situation and attitudes of Muslims towards the post-independence Indonesian state. What is meant by the post-independence period in Indonesia in this paper is categorized into three leadership periods, namely: 1) Old Order Period (5 July 1959 - 11 March 1966), 2) New Order Period (11 March 1966 - 19 October 1998), and 3) Reformation Order Period (19 October 1999 - present). Meanwhile, what is meant in this discussion includes Islamic socio-political ideas and movements represented by Muslim and intellectual figures.
