Abstract

Training activities to improve teacher competence at Don Bosco Vocational School, Southwest Sumba (SBD) involves both Don Bosco teachers as well as external teachers took place on 26-27 August 2022. The objectives of the activity are (1) to share knowledge and experiences; (2) to map the competence of teachers, (3) to plan a knowledge and teaching competence improvement program, and (4) as an initial step to plan teacher competence development in Don Bosco, in particular and in Tambolaka region, in general. The activities cover (1) field observations and (2) teacher FGDs. Teacher competence, ie. pedagogic, social, personal, and professional competencies, must be strengthened and improved. Considering that vocational high school graduates are expected to enter the workforce, the development of teacher human resources is a priority target, however, temporary infrastructure facilities do not need attention because both quantity and quality are adequate. The teacher training that was held was then directed to include teachers around Tambolaka. At the end of the training, the teachers established a communication forum to bridge communication and achieve educational mission together.

Abstract

Pembinaan Warga Gereja adalah sebuah kegiatan gereja yang bertujuan untuk pendewasaan iman anggota gereja, dan dengan pelaksanaan kegiatan ini diharapkan iman jemaat akan mengamalami pertumbuhan menunju kedewasaan hidup sebagai orang percaya. Gereja Kristus Petamburan memandang perlu dilaksanakan pembinaan doktrinal bagi warga gerejanya. Dalam upaya pengembangan pelayanan kegerejaan, dan mempersiapkan warga gereja bagi upaya pendewasaan imannya, maka Gereja Kristus Petamburan menyelenggarakan kegiatan Seri Pembinaan Pentakosta dengan maksud mengajarkan keyakinan teologi Calvinisme kepada anggota jemaat. Pembinaan Warga Gereja berkaitan dengan doktrin Calvinisme ini dianggap penting mengingat banyaknya keyakinan lain yang dapat memberi pengaruh buruk bagi mereka. Istilah TULIP merupakan sesuatu yang penting dalam keyakinan Calvinisme dan hal itu perlu diajarkan, dimana salah satu kajiannya adalah Limited Atonement. Kajian soteriologi Calvinisme menyangkut penebusan terbatas yang ada didalamnya. Kata Kunci: Pembinaan Warga Gereja, Limited Atonement, dan Teologi Calvinisme

Abstract

The purpose of this article is to provide an understanding of land dispute resolutions available under Indonesian regulations. This article is applying the normative method under the statutory approach. Furthermore, the writer may provide the discussion of this article by expressing that there are two main classifications of land dispute resolution forums. The first forum known as the non-adjudication forum consists of mediation, conciliation, consultation, and facilitation. Meanwhile, the second forum is divided into two sub-classification consisting of the adjudication method and the non-adjudication method. The adjudication method consists of dispute settlement through a district court triggered by an ownership right dispute, and a dispute settlement through an administrative court regarding the legality of a land certificate. Besides that, the second sub-classification of this adjudication method consists of dispute settlement through arbitration that can be triggered due to an arbitration agreement with land as its object.

Abstract

Although there are already restrictions on the age of marriage according to Law No. 16 of 2019 article 7 paragraph 1 which reads: Marriage is only allowed if the man and woman have reached the age of 19 (nineteen) years, early marriage is still a problem in Indonesia. Early marriage has quite a lot of impact not only on the marriage partner, but also on their descendants and families. The divorce rate is quite high and the health rate and family economy also have an effect. Based on this, in the FK UKI Community Service activities in June 2022, data collection has been carried out related to the early marriage history of residents of Tidung Island-Thousand Islands, Jakarta. There were 99 respondents who had a history of early marriage, with the youngest marriage age was 10 years old and the oldest was 18 years old. The last education they had graduated was elementary school (69.7%) with a job as “housewife". This shows that although the Marriage Law has been assigned since 1974 and amended in 2019, the problem of early marriage is still high, and this certainly affects the government's performance to achieve the achievements of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). Therefore, it is necessary to conduct counseling and monitoring to parents, the younger generation and other community institutions, so that early marriage no longer occurs.

Abstract

The Physics Education Study Program is the only Physics Education Study Program in DKI Jakarta with the vision to implement learning using media made from simple materials. So that the Physics Education Study Program will apply the knowledge it has mastered to schools as a form of dedication and knowledge transfer. The Physics Education Study Program, FKIP UKI, conducted training on making simple electric motor teaching aids for students at Darussalam Ciputat High School, Tangerang. This training was carried out as an effort by the study program to implement expertise in community service activities. This activity will be carried out on Tuesday, September 6 2022, at Darussalam Ciputat High School, Tangerang. The programs carried out are: (1) Conducting outreach about science teaching aids that can be produced from used goods or simple materials that are easy to find; (2) Carry out practicum/experiments on props that have been made (electric motors); (3) Conducting learning by associating the concept of material with the results of experiments that have been carried out using the resulting teaching aids. This Community Service can be a means of increasing and developing the creativity of students and teachers in the learning process. Keywords: Simple electric motors, Students, SMA Darussalam Ciputat.

Abstract

Everyone needs to have a clear understanding of their faith. Likewise, a Christian needs to have a true understanding of the faith. That is why, this community service activity was carried out to increase understanding of the Christian faith through a discipleship program among Yadika Soreang High School and Vocational High School students, where for 7 (seven) days, some material was presented, such as the Guarantee of Salvation, Repentance, Jesus the Sole Ruler, Restoration of the Father's Heart, Self Image Restoration, Inner Wound Healing, Enjoying the Bible, the Life of Prayer, Love, Sex and Dating, Life Calls, Church History: The Early Church, Church History: Streams in Christianity, The Power of Words, and Religious Tolerance.

Abstract

The establishment of the Toba Caldera as a UNESCO Global Geopark provides opportunities for local village communities to promote culture and local products and create wider employment opportunities. The purpose of this community service activity is to gain an understanding of the importance of inter-regional cooperation in the development of the UNESCO Global Geopark Toba Caldera tourist area. This inter-regional cooperation can provide sustainable growth, thereby increasing the welfare of local communities. The activities were carried out by visiting the UNESCO Global Geopark Toba Caldera Management Agency, especially at the Samosir Regency Regional Government Office. The development of the Lake Toba area needs to be carried out jointly with the eight regencies around the Lake Toba area in an integrated and sustainable manner, and it cannot work alone. For example, in procuring and repairing roads as entrances to tourist areas, especially tourist villages in the Lake Toba Region. No region can provide for itself because each region has advantages and disadvantages that can be mutually beneficial through good cooperation. Abstract

The role of Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) in the Indonesian economy is very important and is the most important pillar in increasing Indonesia's economic growth. In general, especially in the financial aspect, only a few MSMEs have experienced developments in their financial performance. One of the factors that causes this to happen is due to the low awareness of MSME actors on the importance of financial management. Financial records are very important for any business, but MSME actors often ignore this, including members of the Jakarta Klasis Christian Pasundan Church (GKP). The activity and discipline of recording all expenses and income to control finances in business is very necessary. Based on this, it is deemed necessary to provide socialization regarding the importance of Financial Management for MSMEs and is expected to be able to help members of the Jakarta Christian Pasundan Church (GKP) Classes in managing their business finances in a correct, disciplined and orderly manner. The implementation of this community service activity aims to provide socialization on the importance of financial management for MSMEs in the form of a hybrid webinar using the Zoom application (online) .Overall, the socialization activities on the importance of financial management for MSMEs actors can be said to have been successful; seen from the target number of participants, the achievement of socialization goals and the achievement of the material targets that have been planned. The enthusiasm of the participants, support from UKI and the Jakarta Class GKP Assembly were the supports for the implementation of this PkM activity. The benefits that participants get from this activity include understanding financial records for MSMEs in advancing their business. Keywords: financial management, MSMEs

Abstract

URINDO as an Entrepreneur and Elderly Friendly University, collaborates with the DKI Jakarta Child Protection and Population Control Empowerment Service (PPAPP) and BKKBN, to mobilize people who care for the elderly to organize an elderly school that is integrated with the Elderly Family Development program (BKL). The purpose of this activity is to train health cadres, communities caring for the elderly, and PLKB officers to become managers and facilitators of schools for the elderly in 5 (five) areas of DKI Jakarta. The establishment of an elderly school requires management standards and trained learning facilitators so that they have pedagogic competence to carry out learning with an adult approach. The training methods used are brain storming, small group discussions, structured assignments and demonstrations. The result of community service activities is the formation of schools for the elderly in 5 areas of DKI Jakarta and in Kepulauan Seribu.

Abstract

The state is obliged to protect its citizens, both men and women in various aspects of life, including in the family as the smallest part, and in the church community and in society as the largest part. Women and men also have the same position in all fields that have access, participation, control and benefits from development for themselves and their families. The church as a spiritual community is an important place to develop spiritual and social life for women and men. However, women often think that the church is only a place for personal life between their self and God, even though in fact the church can be a place or community that is able to give women access, participation, control and benefits for their lives as individuals and as a group. In addition, in the church community, women can develop abilities and positive attitudes within themselves, their families and their environment. Through this community service activity, the head proposer and other members raise women's awareness about the importance of women having a positive attitude in the family, church and society. Women have the opportunity and are able to play a big role for themselves, their families, the church and society. This activity was held on Saturday, 30 July 2022 at HKBP Filadelfia Bekasi Church with 80 congregation members consisting of women and men. This activity begins with awareness and dissemination of the importance of a positive attitude of Christian women in the family, church and society. Through this activity, the awareness of women and men members of the congregation to be able to have a positive attitude in all aspects of life arises.
