Abstract

The comfort of the work environment can help in increasing the work productivity of the officers in providing services at the Public Health Center. The medical record unit workspace at Senduro Public Health Center has not met the comfort aspect due to the narrow condition of the room only measuring 9 m2 so that it has an impact on service and the filing room measuring 7.5 m2 is not in accordance with the minimum standard of 20 m2. Tables, chairs and filing shelves have sizes that are not in accordance with the officer’s anthropometry as well as other facilities and infrastructure that are still not in accordance with the officers’ needs. This type of research uses qualitative methods with data collection techniques through observation, interviews, documentation and brainstorming. The results of the study indicate that it is necessary to design a new medical record work unit space that is adjusted to the standard guidelines and flow of medical record file processing as well as the design of tables. The design of the new medical record work unit measuring 10m x 6m which has been adapted to standards / theories and designed using the SketchUp 3D 2020 application in accordance with ergonomic aspects which include efficiency, health, safety, security and comfort.

Abstract

Registration services are the first type of service that interacts directly with patients. The outpatient registration procedure of each hospital has a different service system that depends on the policies of each hospital. Hospitals have an outpatient registration process that is still not optimal and there are still many patients who do not understand the outpatient registration process. This study aims to find out an overview of outpatient registration services at Santa Elisabeth Hospital Batam City. This research used qualitative methods with interviews and direct observation / observation at Santa Elisabeth Hospital Batam City. From the results of the study, the outpatient registration system at Santa Elisabeth Hospital Batam City was obtained directly, and indirectly (by telephone). During the service process, there were several problems that occurred, including patients not knowing that the queue number to see a certain doctor was separated, resulting in patients who had taken the queue number on the queue machine returning to the security guard table to retrieve the new queue number, as well as an error Information System Server. The flow of outpatient services at Santa Elisabeth Hospital Batam City is in accordance with the SOP although there are still some problems at the Outpatient Registration Site (TPPRJ).

Abstract

The smoothness of submitting BPJS claims for childbirth cases is influenced by the accuracy of the code based on ICD-10 and ICD-9CM which refers to 3 categories namely complications of delivery, method of delivery and outcome of delivery, completeness of claim file requirements and completeness of documentation. Based on observations of 10 claim files for maternity cases submitted to BPJS, it was found that 6 (60%) files were pending due to diagnoses and codes entered on medical resumes not in accordance with BPJS, 1 (10%) did not have a doctor's signature, which resulted in delays the process of paying claims to hospitals that can cause material losses. The aim of the study was to find out the smoothness of submitting BPJS claims for childbirth cases at Hospital X Bengkulu City. This type of research is observational with a quantitative descriptive design. The population of this study is 137 files with a sample of 58 files taken by simple random sampling. The data used are primary and secondary data which were analyzed univariately using the frequency distribution. The results of the research are the accuracy of the case code giving birth to 36(62.1%) files, the completeness of the claim file requirements is 55(94.8%) files and the completeness of the documentation is 56(96.6%) files, but the claim files that fail to purify must be returned to hospital for repair. It is recommended that the hospital has an internal verifier as an evaluator before the file is sent to BPJS.

Abstract

The standard for returning outpatient medical records was 1 hour after providing polyclinic services and 1 x 24 hours after the patient was discharged. Delay in returning outpatient medical records occurs if it exceeds the predetermined standard limit. The implementation of medical records at Baladhika Husada Jember Hospital still has delays in returning inpatient medical records. Therefore, it impacts patient waiting time to get services and the accumulation of files due to the procurement of new medical record documents for visiting patients because the previous medical records were not in the filing room. This research aimed to analyze the factors causing delays in returning inpatient medical records. This type of research uses qualitative research, the subject is 1 head of a medical record unit, 1 medical record officer, 3 nurses, and 2 heads of inpatient rooms. The object of this research is inpatient medical records. The results found in this study are that the first priority has not been socialization related to SOP (Standard Operational Procedure) regarding the return of inpatient medical records so it is determined that efforts to hold routine SOP socialization, providing SOP are posted in each inpatient room by involving all nurses and record officers related to the activity of returning medical records.

Abstract

Severe Acute Respiratory Infection (SARI) is an acute infectious disease that occurs in the respiratory tract and is better known as Pneumonia. The percentage of deaths in various countries caused by pneumonia has reached 30% and is in the age range of less than 5 years. In Indonesia, in the period from May 2013 to April 2015, there were 1,697 cases of the disease, while at Dr Saiful Anwar Hospital in 2022, 56 cases were caused by SARI with the influenza virus. The data collection process is done manually, resulting in delays in reporting problems. This study aims to analyze the effect of Web-Based SARI Information System Development on Sari Reporting Respontime at Dr. Hospital. Saiful Anwar (RSSA) which is useful for speeding up the process of reporting SARI surveillance from sentinels to the Ministry of Health. The design method uses a waterfall diagram which includes analysis, design, coding, and testing. The results of this study are web-based SARI applications where the Ministry of Health has not yet provided an application for data recapitulation processes for every sentinel in the territory of Indonesia, for this reason researchers innovate to create information-based systems web so that in reporting after using the web application the impact is more effective and efficient thus speeding up the reporting process.
