Abstract

This study aimed to improve students’ learning activities in Science subjects with material inheritance through Inquiry learning models. The research method used was classroom action research conducted in three cycles. The subjects of this study were students of class IX.A Gangga SMP N 1. The data collection technique used was the observation sheet. Data of the research were analyzed by using descriptive qualitative and quantitative analysis. The results of the study showed that there was a significant increase from cycle I to cycle II, and from cycle II to cycle III to the components studied. From the results of which, therefore, it could be concluded that the implementation of Inquiry learning models had an effect on students learning activities. This was proved by the higher value of students learning activities in each cycle of the actions.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to determine the effectiveness of MGMP-based mentoring in an effort to improve teacher competence in preparing a good and correct RPP. The method of this study using the method of school action research. This study was conducted in two cycles, each cycle twice a meeting. The stages of each cycle are planning, execution, observation, and reflection. The indicators of success in this study are; 1) the results of principal observation and teacher observation during the mentoring process has obtained the average score> 4.0, 2) teacher work in the preparation of RPP reach> 85% with the average value> 80.00. The result of the research in cycle I was observed by the principal average (3.50), average teacher observation (3.63) and average individual work result value (60.28) with percentage of achievement (0%). In cycle II the mean principal observation (4.60), average teacher observation (4.25) and average individual work result value (91.39) with percentage of achievement (100%). The success indicator has been reached, the research stated successful and stopped in cycle II. The conclusion obtained from the results of this study is the implementation of assistance can improve the competence of target teachers SMA Negeri 2 Mataram in the preparation of good and correct RPP based on KTSP.

Abstract

This study is aimed to analyze advantages of problem based learning and argumentation (PBLA) for vocational school students; and (2) analyze the implementation of PBLA to improve the critical thinking skills of vocational school students. This was library research which used secondary data sources and were collected through scientific articles, books, websites, and other relevant sources. Furthermore, the data were analyzed qualitatively with the Miles and Huberman model, which consisted of data collection, data reduction, data presentation, and concluding. From the results of the literature study, several conclusions can be drawn which include: (1) the implementation of PBLA has the potential to provide benefits both in terms of experience, motivation, innovation, and improvement of 21st Century vocational school student skills; and (2) PBLA supplementation will be very effective in increasing sudents’critical thinking skills if the teacher can direct students to be able to learn actively through various activities such as stating problems, discussing, arguing, concluding solutions, and evaluating.

Abstract

Technology and science for community (IbM) program aimed to create opportunities becameagropreneur (entrepreneurship based on processing agricultural products) for unemployment female throughimplementing training in making “Kerja Mas” (Keripik Jagung Manis) whose product had economic value andcould be marketed to general public. In implementing IbM program had been effort to improve knowledge andskills for female in Sesela Village in order to be able to develop business center of processing sweet cornwhich was affordable and could be received by public. This IbM program has implemented well throughsocialization activities, preparation activities, counseling material, training making Kerja Mas (keripik jagungmas), and mentoring. The result of implementing IbM program such as;(1) overall participants could make“kerja mas” product which already tested through organoleptic test, (2) “kerja mas” product had obtainedlicense of Dinkes P-IRT to guarantee decent healthy food consumption for public; (3) the product packing of“kerja mas” was fascinating and could be marketed in public; (4) establishing Joint Business Group (KUBE)“kerja mas” wa legal as center of processing sweet corn and as effort consummate agropreneur at Seselavillage, and (5) the result of IbM program could be published in Jurnal Ilmiah ISSN.

Abstract

This study aims to produce a digital pocket book based on ethnoscience in science subject of heat matter and its transfer which is feasible and interesting to use by students in Singkawang City. The method in this research is development research with the ADDIE model research procedure. The sample at the implementation stage consisted of 31 PGSD STKIP Singkawang students and 141 grade V students at three singkawang city public elementary schools. Data collection techniques in this study consisted of interviews, validation, and questionnaires. The data analysis technique was in the form of a descriptive analysis of scores obtained from the validation results of experts, practitioners and response questionnaires. The results of the research for each stage obtained that the implentation stage was carried out by small-scale trials on the linguistic aspect reached 3.31, large-scale trials reached 3.46. For the material and graphic aspects of the small-scale trial, each had a value of 3.23 and 3.22 in the attractive criteria. Whereas in the large-scale trial each had a value of 3.33 and 3.39 in the very attractive category. It means that ethnosaians-based digital pocketbooks are in general easy to understand and interesting to use because they have a new appearance concept that is coherently integrated with local culture and design according to development.

Abstract

Masa remaja adalah masa yang sarat akan konflik atau masalah-masalah, baik itu masalah pribadi, sosial, akademik juga karier. Masalah-masalah ini perlu cepat ditanggapi dan dientaskan, karena apabila masalah-masalah ini dibiarkan berlarut-larut dan tidak dientaskan maka dapat menghambat remaja untuk berkembang dengan optimal menuju masa dewasanya. Selanjutnya, di dalam dunia pendidikan masalah-masalah remaja tersebut dapat diatasi dengan adanya layanan bimbingan konseling teman sebaya. Dimana layanan konseling teman sebaya ini dapat dilakukan jika siswa memiliki karakter empati. Karakter empati merupakan keterampilan dasar dalam menjalin hubungan sosial yang dapat diajarkan, dikembangkan dan dilatih. Sehingga dalam penelitian ini bertujuan untuk pembentukan karakter empati siswa melalui kegiatan konseling teman sebaya dengan metode yang digunakan adalah library research.

Abstract

Abstract: The purpose of this study is to determine the extent to which the ability of higher students in makinglearning media that is feasible used in the learning process. This study used descriptive quantitative researchmethods. Data collection techniques used was observation, and questionnaires. The technique of analyzing the data was based on the feasibility criteria of the learning media, namely the aspects of coloring, aspects of the use of words and languages, aspects of the display on the screen, aspects of presentation, aspects of animation and sound. Based on the results of the feasibility test by media experts for the manufacture of learning media by students in multimedia education courses in the Education Technology study program, the percentage gain for each aspect was 57% Coloring, 55% Word and Language aspects, 58% Display aspects, Presentation aspects 57%, Animation and Sound aspects 56%, which meant the learning media made by higher students was in the Worthy category to be used in the learning process. Meanwhile, for the feasibility test of the material experts had 3 aspects, namely the aspect of Feasibility of Content, Feasibility aspect of Presentation, Contextual aspect. The results of the feasibility analysis by material experts showed that percentages for each aspect, namely the aspect of Feasibility of Content 99%, Feasibility aspect of Presentation 87%, and Contextual aspect 88%, where all aspects in the category were Very Worthy. This can be seen from the compatibility between the media made in accordance with the utilization and learning objectives. So, it can be concluded that higher students have the appropriate ability in making learning media to be used in the learning process. Abstrak: Tujuan penelitian ini yaitu untuk mengetahui sejauh mana kemampuan mahasiswa dalam pembuatan media pembelajaran yang layak digunnakan dalam proses pembelajaran. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode penelitian deskriptif kuantitatif. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan adalah observasi, dan angket. Teknik analisis data berdasarkan kriteria kelayakan media pembelajaran, yaitu aspek Pewarnaan, aspek Pemakaian Kata dan Bahasa, aspek Tampilan pada Layar, aspek Penyajian, aspek Animasi dan Suara. Berdasarkan hasil uji kelayakan oleh ahli media untuk pembuatan media pembelajaran oleh Mahasiswa pada mata kuliah pendidikan multimedia di program studi Teknologi Pendidikan, perolehan persentase untuk setiap aspek yaitu aspek Pewarnaan 57 %, aspek Pemakaian Kata dan Bahasa 55 %, aspek Tampilan pada Layar 58 %, aspek Penyajian 57 %, aspek Animasi dan Suara 56 % yang artinya media pembelajaran yang dibuat oleh Mahasiswa dalam kategori Layak untuk digunakan dalam proses pembelajaran. Sedangkan untuk uji kelayakan ahli materi memiliki 3 aspek, yaitu aspek Kelayakan Isi, aspek Kelayakan Penyajian, aspek Kontekstual. Hasil analisis kelayakan oleh ahli materi diperoleh persentase untuk masing-masing aspek yaitu, aspek Kelayakan Isi 99 %, aspek Kelayakan Penyajian 87 %, dan aspek Kontekstual 88 %, dimana semua aspek dalam kategoriSangat Layak. Hal ini dapat dilihat dari kesesuaian antara media yang dibuat sesuai dengan pemanfaatan dan tujuan pembelajaran. sehingga hal ini dapat disimpulkan bahwa Mahasiswa memiliki kemampuan yang layak dalam pembuatan media pembelajaran untuk digunakan dalam proses pembelajaran.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to analyze the correlation between metacognitive skills and learning interest in student learning outcomes in the sub-material equilibrium shift reaction. The method used is the descriptive correlation using test and questionnaire data collection techniques. The research subjects were 31 students of grade 11 IPA 6 at SMAN 1 Cerme in Gresik. Metacognitive skills data were obtained from metacognitive skills tests supported by MAI (Metacognitive Awareness Inventory) questionnaires, data on learning interest were obtained from questionnaires, and learning outcomes data were obtained from student learning outcomes tests. The analysis carried out is a statistical test. The tests conducted consisted of the Shapiro-Wilk normality test and hypothesis testing used multiple linear regression analysis. The result of this study shows positive and significant correlation between metacognitive skills and learning interest toward the students' learning outcomes both in partial and simultaneously in chemical equilibrium, submaterial shift of chemical equilibrium, the effects of the independent variable are 76,6%, while other factors outside the research variables influenced the other 23.4%.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to find out the results of the development of practicum modules in STTL Mataram laboratories are based on a process skills approach. The procedure of practicum module development refers to the ADDIE learning development model. Data collection techniques were carried out by means of an assessment by 3 experts and limited trials on students in the even semester of the 2018/2019 academic year at D-3 Kesehatan Lingkungan of STTL Mataram with a sample of 30 people. The instruments used in this study were expert assessment questionnaire and student response questionnaire on the results of module development. Data analysis techniques use expert judgment categorization criteria, whereas limited trials use the average categorization of the results of trials using the Gutman scale calculation. The results showed that the score of expert assessment of the modules developed were (1) Module 1 semester 1 average score of 3.5 included in both categories with information can be used with a little revision; (2) Module 3 semester average score 3.5 is included in both categories with information can be used with a little revision; and (3) Module 5 semester average score 3.5 is included in both categories with information can be used with a little revision. While the limited test results show that the modules developed are included in the Good category but need to be improved and refined to be able to produce modules that are ready to be used in practicum.

Abstract

Learning achievement on Indonesian language was low, it became apprehensive for teachers. Through this research, teachers tried to improve Indonesian language learning achievement through best socio drama. Socio drama approach was believed that it could improve Indonesian language learning achievement. This research was conducted in two cycles. In this research, researcher used test and observation sheet, and data was analyzed by descriptive quantitative. Based on data analysis showed that learning achievement was increased in cycle I completeness was 23 students (69,7%) and not completeness was 10 students (30,3%), and in cycle II students completeness were 29 students (87,00%) and students who weren’t completeness were 4 students (12,1%). By improving mean score in cycle I 69,4 became 76,4 in cycle II. Implementing socio drama, teacher tried to conduct 10 steps in cycle I and it became improved in cycle II, based 13 steps on lesson plan. Based on the data of students’ achievement learning completeness 69,7% in cycle I became 89,7% in cycle II. The data of students’ socio drama activities in cycle I 60% increased in cycle II became 87%, so it could be stated that socio drama approach had been conducted with optimize and this learning could improve Indonesian language learning achievement. The result of this research could improve pedagogic services for teachers and could improve learning service quality for school. So that the result of research could be used for students to improve fairy tale appreciation, for teachers this research could improve learning services, for school could improve competitive ability.
