Abstract

This research is motivated because of the problems found in schools, namely, the LKPD used in schools is generally less attractive, both in terms of the space for filling in the less extensive answers, the color of the LKPD which does not have an attractive color, the structure is incomplete and the supporting images for the LKPD are inadequate. This research is a development research, namely Research and Development (R&D) which consists of four stages, namely: define, design, development, disseminate. in this development research using the 4-D model proposed by Thiagarajan (in Ratumanan, 2019: 61). The results showed that the development of discovery learning-based LKPD collected through a validation questionnaire was used to measure the feasibility of student worksheets (LKPD). The results showed that the discovery learning-based student worksheets developed were feasible and valid for learning. This is evident from the results of obtaining questionnaires by expert experts and educators who state that the development product is feasible based on the results of the linguist expert's validity test (92.5%) is categorized as very valid, aspects of rpp Validator 1 (92.5%) are categorized as very valid, Validator 2 (95.00%) which is categorized as very valid, expert design expert (98.07%) is categorized as very valid. This proves that the Integrated Thematic Student Worksheet Development (LKPD) with the Discovery Learning Model in Class IV of Elementary School is stated very valid.

This study was a correlational study designed to determine whether and how a set of variables had related to each other. The participants were 50 students in the first year of high school. The instruments used in this study were observation sheet and questionnaire. Observation sheet is used to find out the category of students’ activities in STAD model and give a questionnaire consisting of seven items to the students. SPSS was used to analyze the data. The score of product-moment by using SPSS, Rxy is (0,410): it showed there was a significant correlation between students’ activities in STAD model and their interest in learning English. Referring to the product-moment table, it shows that the correlation is “enough” because 0,401 placed between 0,400 – 0,599. In addition, the null hypothesis was rejected because r table is lower than r observation whether at 5% (0,279) or at 1 % (0,361) level of significance, meaning that there was a significant correlation between students’ activities in STAD model and their interest in learning English. So, it can be concluded that activities in STAD model can influence students’ interest because, in STAD model, students can learn the English learning material better. . Keywords: Students’ activities, STAD model, interest, learning English.

Abstract

This study explains that ijtihad existed when the companions of the Prophet Muhammad were still alive and continued to develop along with the development of Islam. Ijtihad was born because it is a logical reflection of the struggles of various situations in society that require solutions to be found. However, it should be noted that not everyone can perform ijtihad because ijtihad must use the science of ushul fiqh. Ijtihad, which is carried out carelessly can produce a perverted legal product, as is the case today. Therefore, through this study, the author discusses the ijtihad practised by the companions of the Prophet Muhammad before the emergence of the science of ushul fiqh. The purpose of this discussion is to find out whether the licensed products that were born before the emergence of ushul fiqh science are legally flawed or not. After conducting an in-depth study, it was found that even though at that time the science of ushul fiqh had not been recorded in one book, the companions of the Prophet Muhammad were able to formulate and produce Islamic law products precisely. This happens because they master the science of ushul fiqh and keep it well in their memory.

This research discusses functions and roles of the Regional People's Representative Assembly (DPR). Type of the research is normative model. The results of this research indicate that the existence of DPRD has not been running optimally, especially for its three functions, namely the function of legislation, budget and supervision. This is due to the lack of understanding of the human resources of DPRD members. It should be based on the principle of "good governance" doing its role as a representative institution, since DPRD positions as a counterbalancing power and exercises effective control over the regional head and all levels of regional government.

Abstract

The plague that initially only existed in China has now turned into grains of dust blown away by the wind, and has spread all over the world, including Indonesia. A vaccine for the virus called corona or what is known as covid 19 has not been found, which has eaten a lot of people, from those who were only infected to those who breathed their last. The plague like this makes all countries in the world forced to take preferential steps to prevent its spread that is increasingly widespread. One of the steps taken by the Indonesian government is social distancing. Such restrictions in turn also affect the education sector, in which all schools and campuses are closed. Of course, educational activists will not let the teaching and learning process take off. Online schools are one of the solutions taken by many educational units in Indonesia. Besides online schools, the ruangguru tutoring platform which provides a lot of material is also used as a place to study. This study will further analyze the role of the ruangguru in developing children's creativity in this pandemic era. The research model is a sentiment analysis. The results showed that positive comments about ruangguru reached 430, negative comments reached 57, and mediocre comments reached 14.
